Swirling magical essences are not uncommon, especially after a dimensional rift in time and space. Why a cave has turned into an overgrown home for dangerous mana-beasts, you ask? Who knows, but the Magic Knights have to handle it before it becomes more serious. Eradicate the dangerous monsters inside while still leaving the place habitable for regular creatures of nature.

"Kukuku, I can sense it! It must be done that way, ku. Let's see what's actually happening down in that dummy old cave, kukuku."
Flora angled her broom downwards and made her way towards the cave's entrance. Earlier, the little witch had received a missive that strange happenings were going on in an otherwise normal looking cave close to the city of Nairn, the hometown of the Azure Deer. Being interested in the disturbance and reports of strange currents of mana and mutations happening to local wildlife, Flora decided to undertake the mission herself.
"Kuku... the mana does feel rather strange in this area. I wonder what could be causing it? Kukuku, well I suppose I'll just have to check for myself! Kukuku, this might even give me some insight into some other projects I'm working on, kukuku."
Though not a Coral Peacock, Flora had a keen interest in understanding the inner workings of mana, though unlike her deceased sister, Flora's interest was based more on the practical than the theoretical. Flora wanted to understand mana because she wanted power. Enough power to lie claim to the Witch Queen throne.
"Now then, I was told I wouldn't be alone in this, kuku. The Azure Deer should be sending one of their own to assist on this mission, kuku. I suppose that makes sense since this is their backyard, kuku."
Looking around Flora didn't see any other magic knights.
"I guess they aren't here yet, ku. And I wanted to get started already! They better hurry up, kuku."
Turning her attention back to the cave's entrance, Flora looked on the ground and found a small stone. She threw the stone into the darkness of the cave opening and listened. The rock could be heard ricocheting off the wall then hit ground skipping twice. After that, nothing.
"Kuku, I suppose there isn't a monster waiting to ambush us as soon as I walk in then, ku."
Walking to the main entrance the mana Flora had sensed grew even more.
"Very strange indeed, kuku."
Touching the rock that formed the entrance, Flora scratched her chin.
"Kuku, the whole cave is drenched in mana... kukuku samatur...sa... saturated even, ku."
Taking a few steps back, Flora crossed her arms.
"Kukuku, quite the mystery indeed. I guess I'll just have to wait for the Azure Deer person who's supposed to meet me here then. Kukuku, it wouldn't due to leave them behind. Kuku, I am a Vice-Captain after all."

[attr="class","naxscroll"] Time had come for another mission to be assigned with the Noble of the Blake family. He received his paperwork from the missions officer like he normal would. In the paperwork gave details about a cave that had mana beasts that had apparently taken over. Well thats what he understood from what he read anyway. At the end he noticed that he was assigned to this mission with a member of the Blue Rose Knight Squad. His head would lift up for him to give a quick thought on who he knew from there. Rosalia had moved from the Blue Roses over to the Black Bulls, so she would out of the thought. Next he remembered that the two witches he went on a mission with before. Both of them were members of the Squad of powerful women. Though, if only one was assigned, which one of them was the one who obtained this mission? It was a curious thought to think of, but he would know once he arrived at the rendezvous spot. So, he gave the missions officer a big smile before heading towards the door at the Grand Entrance. When he walked outside his bracer would begin to glow with his shadowy, black and blue, mana. After a few seconds there would then be his shadow chariot ready to go. He hopped on to begin flying in the direction that he was given.[break][break]
After flying past the town of Nairn, where his squad base is located, he came across an area where he picked up a mana signature. This mana he felt was one that he knew he had sensed before. It was becoming more clear that the person who was assisting him on this mission was either Flora or Seren’s Mana. Naxel began to become very happy with that thought came across his mind. That mission that they went on together was some time ago, and it was going to be great to see either on them again. So, Naxel took no more time with wondering who it was assisting him on this mission. He maneuvered his Chariot downwards to where he declined in altitude towards the ground. By the time he go closer he became to see a better appearance of who it was. Then, it became perfectly clear to him. Flora was the Blue Rose member that would be partnering up with him. His small began to grow as he landed the chariot onto the ground. Naxel would then get off, and make his way over towards the short rose witch. “Well well. Long time no see there Flora. Guess we will be tackling this mission together today I see.” When those words came out of his mouth he quickly remembered something. The Azure Deer looks different than he did when he went on that last mission with the two roses. Then he had red eyes and messy hair, and now he has brown eyes, from an item he received on a previous mission, and styled hair. Hopefully she would kind of remember his voice.
Standing in front of the cave, Flora suddenly sensed something approaching from behind her. Glancing over her shoulder, Flora focused in on the mana signature.
"Kukuku... I know this signature. I guess it makes sense that they would send him, ku."
Feeling the mana signature approaching closer, Flora began to tap her foot until the voice behind her issued a greeting.
"I took you long enough, ku. You do realize you've kept a Vice-Captain waiting don't you?! And not just any Vice-Captain! Kukuku... a Witch of the Forest and a Vice-Captain! To make matters even worse than that, kuku... you've kept Flora of the Witches' Forest waiting! A very heinous crime indeed... ku...."
Flora turned and grinned making it plane she was teasing.
"Though I wasn't making jokeys about being Vice-Captain, kuku. That much was true. And also, you shouldn't keep people waiting. I was also being serious about that, kuku. Though maybe I was early so you could be on time, ku. I'm not very sure but I'm getting bored of thinking about and so I'm going to stop caring right.... now, ku. Ah but see, I was telling the truth about being Vice-Captain."
Pointing to her mantle, Flora continued.
"Anyway, we can talk more as we continue the mission. Kuku, it won't do to chit chat all day and get nothing done, kuku. Before you arrived I did a bit of snooping, kuku, and this appears to be the source of the disturbance."
Flora pointed towards the cave.
"I haven't actually entered though I can sense some strange mana coming from the cave. It seems safe enough to enter though, kuku. I tested it with a rock and nothing got angry or roared or tried to fight, ku. So we can probably enter without anything trying to be sneaky with us, kuku."
Clap her hands together, Flora readied herself checking to make sure she had all of her things.
"Well then, kuku. Let the exploration begin! I'll lead the way as the higher rank... kukuku... ah but I'll let you attack things first. It will be a good way for me to see how much you've grown since the last time I saw you! Kukuku... but don't worry, we're a team. I'll step in if things get very hairy, kukuku."
Entering the cave Flora could immediately feel the strange and foul mana growing stronger with each step. As Flora moved deeper into cave the light from the entrance dwindled until eventually she could only guide herself by using the walls a guide. Suddenly, after a few moments of moving forward a soft green glow began to illuminate the tunnel.
Following the wall further, Flora found herself in a large cavern aglow with bioluminescent mushrooms.
"This would be very pretty if it didn't stink down here so bad... kukuku.... but is it the mushrooms or..."
Suddenly, Flora's sensory began to pick up mana signatures. Turning to Naxel, Flora would whisper.
"We're not alone, kukuku, there are monsters hiding in this room as well... kukuku..."

Naxel gave a funny, yet cute, looking smile when he heard Flora respond to his entrance. Though, a curiosity had appeared in his mind when she mentioned being a Vice-Captain. The last time they had met he did not remember her being called such a title. This only meant that the woman in front of him had been promoted between the time they first met and now. It was a great thing to know that she was promoted to such a honorable position. Naxel knew that she would be able to make it further up the chain one of these days. He just didn’t think that it would be this soon, despite it being a while since they met. Though the conversation would come up sooner of later with the details of her promotion. For now he would continue his smile as he caught a hint of teasing from her speech of making her wait. A chuckle would then follow behind the smile right before she would go on to say that she had snooped the cave some. But a quick change in facial expressions would occur when he knew it was time to get serious. Naxel would go on to listen to what the Vice-Captain had to say, and would listen closely. When she was finish, Naxel had understood that this was the place where the mana disturbance was emitting from. Flora had snooped around the entrance to know that it was at least safe enough for them to enter. Naxel didn’t distrust his partner, but he would rather be safe than sorry.[break][break]
Before he would summon his grimoire, to track the area they were entering, Flora had said to begin, and that she would take lead on this exploration. Naxel didn’t mind this, nor the offer for him to be the one to attack when necessary. The Noble had grown some between their first meeting and now. He would only hope that it would least be impressive to her of how he has grown so far. So, he would go ahead to follow his partner into the cave. When he entered, he would summon his grimoire for the pages to begin flipping. They would go on for a moment before stopping on a spell that will help them greatly here. “Shadow Creation Magic: Lord Umbras All Seeing Projection.” He would say lightly to where Flora could hear it just enough. An orb of shadowy mana would then appear above its pages to begin taking shape of the cave they were in. The Azure Deer wasn’t sure how big this place was, but his range was able to reach up to 158 meters in area. He would examine what he could see until he began smelling some sort of stench. When he looked over at Flora he would hear her say that this place would be nice without the stink. She was right. This place looked amazing with the plant life that live here. Mushrooms around them were giving off a bioluminescent glow that was breath taking. Then, right when Flora spoke of the mana signature, a few signatures would appear on his map. Two of the signatures were a decent size while there were four others that had a little less than the first two. Whatever these creatures were are definitely ready for a fight.[break][break]
While in the room Naxel kept his eyes on his map. Those Six signatures were scattered around the entire room. None of them were moving which was strange in the Nobles eyes. Not until one of them disappeared from his map that was located across the way. There wasn’t much light within this area, but enough to see where you were stepping. Everything was still fine at the moment, and Naxel kept his composure as he focused on his spell. He continued to look over his map for a few moments before the signature would reappear behind them. “Flora... One signature disappeared, and now reappeared behind us...” Saying to his partner with a soft voice. After he mentioned it he turned his head, slowly, to check behind him. All he could really see was a few feet behind him. His map wasn’t perfect with distanced, but he knew that whatever it was is behind them.[break][break]

"Kukuku... so you can sense things too, huh? Very good! Ku, you know lots of people aren't very good at it. I'll never understand it. After Naxel spotted the moving mana signature was when he informed his partner of it. She had given her comments back on the matter, and made it to where Naxel was on guard more than he originally was. Looking down at his map he noticed that the signature was getting closer and closer to them. He turned his body around to see that there was nothing but darker light behind them. After a few seconds was when he began to see small light reflect off of something. It was very weird on how light could just reflect off nothing within the darkness. That was until, his eyes grew wide as he realized that the light was shinning off of the eyes of the creature that was behind them. Naxel summoned his grimoire in front of him again as the creature came within a few meters of them. This one didn’t seem to like that Naxel had his grimoire open right in front of it. The Vampire Bat began screeching out a horrible noise that could make anyone go deaf if it continued any longer. He flew his hands up over his hears while the screech continued. Whatever reason why this creature was doing it was getting really old quick. So, the pages of his grimoire began flipping after the map floated up a little to allow the pages to move. It would then land on a page that would help them out in this instance to at least let them be able to hear again. “Shadow Creation Magic: Claws of the Shadowy Abyss!” Reciting very loudly as shadows began to pour out of the pages onto the ground below. It would only take it a quick moment to reach out to its max range before Naxel would behind his assault.[break][break]
When the shadowy floor had fully formed was when it was time to fight. Naxel took his right hand off of his hear to hand down his arm in front of him before thrusting it upward. A giant claw of shadowy mana rose out of the floor to smash right under the creatures head. It continued upward, as well as the creature, to where it collided with the top of the cave. The sound had stopped echoing from around the room to where they were all able to hear once again. Naxel looked over at his partner to see if she was alright. “You good over there Vice-Captain?” He spoke right before the creature had recovered from the hit a lot quicker than Naxel would of thought. It lunged toward Naxel to make contact with both of his arms. This thing had began pushed Naxel backwards right until his back made contact with one of the cave walls. It lunged its head quick at Naxels head right after the Noble flicked his wrist to where the giant claw came in between the two. Whatever this thing is was very persistent at trying to kill the Azure Deer. It’s grip quick started to get tighter and tighter to where it began hurting. Right then was when Naxel closed his hand into a fist. The Claw mimicked the Nobles actions to where it closed it grip onto the creatures head, crushing it. This led Naxel to begin feeling relief from the creatures grip, and to where he was able to move his arms around again. Getting himself out of the creatures hands he motioned his arm over for the claw to throw the creature away. Little did the noble know was that it landed over near the other mana signatures he had sensed before. Eyes began appearing all over the place. He counted Five sets of eyes that looked like they were ready for blood. “Heh, welp looks like we got to fight now Vice-Captain.” Saying to his partner as he got into a battle ready position with his giant claw right next to him, hovering over him.

While sensing the mana presences behind the Azure Deer Naxel and herself, Flora continued trotting forward confidently and happily. She had no doubt in her abilities and felt assured that any that that would rear its head at her would quickly be put down with little to no effort.
Kukuku... I wonder how much stronger Naxel has gotten? Has he learned any new spells? Kukuku, I'm sure he must have. I'm a little excited to see what he can do, kuku. Maybe I'll let him take most of them out and just watch? Kukuku, it's not like these dummies stand any chance against me anyway. I'm much too powerful for them to handle, ku. It wouldn't even be very fair if I tried, would it? Kuku, sad pathetic little dummies thinking they can mess with a witch! Kukukuku!
As Flora continued forward, she felt Naxel suddenly turn and loose a spell.
Ooooh here we go now, finally--
Flora's thoughts were cut short when an ear wrenching scream pierced her ears.
"Ah! Kuku, so loud!"
After a few moments, the sound stopped. It seemed as though Naxel's spell had felled the creature and the silenced it as it did. After, Naxel would ask Flora if she was alright.
"I'm fine, kuku. But that was very very unpleasant. Why must it be so loud? Kuku, it would have been better if it were silent and couldn't shout. Kuku, if it's a sneaky type why would it even have a mouth? Better if it didn't in my opinion, ku."
As Naxel destroyed the first of the creatures, it seemed that its scream had been more than a piercing cry, apparently, it had also stirred the other creatures in the first chamber of the cave.
"Kukuku, it seems that last creature's friends also want to play..."
Pulling themselves from the ground, five... what seemed to be mushrooms, stared at the two magic knights suddenly beginning to glow brightly. As Each one yanked hulking arms and legs that resembled twisted roots from the ground, they slowly began to make their way to the pair, the glow of their mushroom caps growing all the brighter as they prepared to attack. Flora stepped forward.
"This seems like it will be annoying, kukuku, so I'll take care of this part. Don't worry though Mr. Azure Deer Naxel, kuku, I sense there will be a lot more enemies further down. Now let's see... kukuku... what spell to use..."
Flora took out her grimoire and flipped through the pages casually.
"Ah, kuku, this one should do. Kukuku, it will also make this cove much more pleasant and hopefully get rid of this stinky, stuffy cave smell, ku."
Flora held out her hand.
"Witches' Forest Magic! Witch Queen's Claim!"
Suddenly, something very peculiar began to happen. The cave, rocks, and stones that made up the area the pair had found themselves in began to transform into a blood-red forest.
"Kukukuku, I think of all my spells this one's my favorite, kukuku. Have a taste of home you mushroom dummies! Kukuku, have a taste of the Witches' Forest!"
As the area turned to a forest around them the trees and plant life that grew struck out violently at the mushroom men spearing, stabbing, and bashing each of them until they were no more.
"Kukuku! Much better! And they didn't even have a chance to scream or make whatever awful noise they did before, ku. A job well done!"
Flora threw Naxel a thumbs up, then continued forward.
Name of Spell: Witches' Forest Magic: Witch Queen's Claim Elemental Type: World Tree Rank & Spell Type: Senior, Attack/Transformation (offensive) Range & Speed: 80 m, 40 m/s, 65 m aoe Mana Cost: 30, 15 Stats Affected: +9 Power, -10 movement speed (one round) Applicable Perks: Elemental Oddity: Blood, Battle Knight, Area of Triumph Description: One of Flora's favorite spells. This spell transmutes an area causing it to grow into a blood-red facsimile of the Witches' Forest. Anyone caught within the spell's area will have their speed reduced for a single round while taking senior damage as long as they remain in the area and the spell is sustained. This spell makes use of ammo rules and steals 10 mana from every individual in the spell's area per round.
When cast, Flora's blood-red mana expels out of her pointer finger seeping into the ground area she designates. Suddenly, the ground begins to rumble and a moment later blood-red plant life begins erupting from the ground. Gnarled trees, shrubs, grasses, and vines explode upward and outward like bludgeons and pikes crushing and destroying everything in their path. As roots and grasses weave through the ground making movement on foot difficult. The magic will continue to nurture the unnatural plant life until the area resembles, sanguine-colored Witches' Forest.
As with other offensive transmutation spells, this spell permanently changes the area it is cast in. Though the spell's magic and the plants' ability to steal mana will cease, the plant life grown from this spell will remain as if a natural part of the landscape.
The mission started off pretty decent until one of the creatures tried to pull a sneak attack on the two Knights. Naxel encountered the bat like creature right when it came very close to where they were. During the encounter the Noble managed to ultimately come out of the fight with just a good sized bruise on his arm. It made him have great respect towards his partner as she didn’t intervene to where the Noble wasn’t able to gain any experience from the fight. Naxel knows that this is a mission, but he does his best to do trial and error with them to where he will learn from mistakes. Like this incident. That Winged creature snuck up behind them, threw them in disaray, and then attacked Naxel after being stopped from screeching. It was a lesson learned to where he shouldn’t always let the targets come close, and to train his mapping spell a lot more. Though, despite seeing the eyes of the rest, Naxel became even more ready to fight when Flora pointed them out. The Noble didn’t want them to get the first strike on them, so he took a step forwards before hearing Flora recite a spell of her own. Naxel took steps back to get behind the Vice-Captain as he didn’t know what this spell does. When the spell went towards the creatures he realized that these opponents looked like little Mushroom men. They looked very odd to the Noble, but didn’t stand a chance against Floras Magic. The area around them had changed from the spell his partner had casted. It was an interesting spell to him as this was the first time he has ever seen a spell change the battlefield before him. His mind was more amazed at the spell that he missed the mushroom things get defeated. All he knew was the comment that Flora made which had him a little worried about his partner. Instead of saying anything he would just laugh and move on with her.[break][break]
Entering the next area became a little more interesting than the one before. Once they entered this part was where he noticed that more creatures seemed to waited on them. Naxel could see these creatures better now as a whole from above was able to allow light to shine down on them. Three Winged Bats stood right behind a lone mushroom creature. The Noble wanted to laugh at this since it looked like a little creature was the boss of those three bats behind him. He didn’t though, aloud, because he didn’t want flora to judge him for laughing at opponents in battle. Though, he really didn’t want to entice the bat creatures either as one of their friends had deal damage to one of his arms. It wasn’t broken, as he stopped the lat bat from doing so, but him using his dual scythes were a no go for now. Using them would only wind up causing more damage to his arm if he struck something harder than necessary. So, instead he still had his map in front of him while his giant claw was still out of the shadow floor behind him. “Well looks like this time we don’t have to find these other creatures, Vice-Captain. They are just waiting for us.” Saying to his partner right before two of the winged bats shot outwards into an going, one going left and one right. Naxel took notice to his to where his left hand came up for an additional Giant Claw to rise up out of the floor. Both of his arms would then go into an X out in front of him before thrusting them outwards, left side and right side. Doing so made the giant claws copy his motion to where they went flying towards each bat. Both of them flew quickly towards their targets to where they made contact. Naxels spell wasn’t all powerful like his partners were, but the claws struck the bats to knock them backwards against the walls behind them. Sadly, this left Naxel open, and the third bat lunged towards the Noble. It’s speed surpassed Naxels attention as he was focused on the other two. When the third bat made it to Naxel it sent a punch right to his stomach to where he was sent flying backwards like the bats friends. His back struck the wall right next to where they entered from cause pain to shoot through his entire body. The breath was Knocked out of him as he slid down to the ground. Hopping his partner was quicker to counter the creature before it tried to lung again.[break][break]

"Look! It's like that one's the boss of the other three even though it's so tiny, kukukuku!"
Flora slapped her knee as she giggled, then suddenly the bats when on the attack. Using a rather complex attack pattern for bats, the enemies swooped down and rammed Flora's mission partner into the wall.
"Kukuku, owie. That one looked like it hurt. It seems like you need to get better against flying things, huh? Kukuku, are you learning more about your abilities and weaknesses now? I'm told I am a very good teacher, ku. Ah, but I guess I should teach you something about dealing with bats."
Flora quickly ran her fingers through her hair pulling out a single strand.
"Witches' Forest Magic! Braided Broomstick!"
Suddenly, the single hair exploded in size and grew into many hairs braiding themselves into a witchy looking broomstick.
Jumping on top, Flora crossed her arms and waiting for the bats to attack.
"When dealing with things that fly, kuku, it's all about timing! And maybe also being able to fly yourself is very helpful, ku. Well first we should deal with the mushroom man, kuku, since he looked like the boss."
From Flora' broomstick a spine of hair braided itself and shot forward at the mushroom man striking it and defeating it.
"Kuku, that's that one. Now the bats..."
Seeing the comrade downed, the bats became agitated and attempted to swarm Flora.
"See, now they're angry, kuku. So we just tire them out a bit..."
The first bat swooped low, but Flora lowered her broomstick ducking under the attack. The next went in and nearly struck the little witch but shit jolted backwards just in time.
"Witches' Forest Magic! Phantom Splinter!"
Flora held her ground as three magical spears materialized and targeted the three bats.
"You see, kuku, if I shoot them right now, they'll probably dodge. That's why you wait. They're already mad so though they're attacking very angrily, kukuku, there's a good chance that their anger will cause them to make a mistake! That's why it's always important to keep a cool, calm, and collected head in battle. Ku, though even I do get angry sometimes. Still, it's important to take in the big picture."
As Flora gave her lesson the bats all attacked simultaneously.
"Ah, ku, here we go. Now just wait.... and waittttt. and.... now!"
As the bats flew almost to the point past the spears created from Flora's spell, the spears suddenly shot out piercing each of the bats and defeating them.
Nodding to herself for a job well done, Flora floated back down to Naxel.
"See, you just have to do it like that, ku. Now then, I feel like we are very close to being done, kuku. Can you get up?"
Description: Using her magic, Flora forms a large red flowering spear out of wood and vines. When this projectile strikes a target it deals senior damage. The projectile is magically camouflaged in an illusion make it hidden from sight, smell, and hearing. The illusion requires 30 + (2 for every 5 control Flora has) sensory to see through. This spell obeys the ammo rules.
Due to this spell being of the world tree element, this spell is able to naturally steal 10 mana from a person per individual spell that touches them a post.
Name of Spell: Witches' Forest Magic: The Braided Broomstick Elemental Type: World Tree Rank &a Spell Type: Intermediate, Attack, Transformation Range & Speed: 20 meters (Range), 10 meters per second (Speed), 2 passengers Mana Cost: 20, 10 Stats Effected: +6 power Applicable Perks: Battle Knight, Elemental Oddity: Blood Description: Flora runs her hands through her hair and pulls a single hair. Using her Witches' Forest magic, Flora transforms the hair into a broomstick made from braided hairs. The broomstick allows Flora to fly as well as fire a single, 1.5 foot projectile for intermediate damage for every round the spell is sustained.
Due to this spell being of the world tree element, this spell is able to naturally steal 10 mana from a person per individual spell that touches them a post.. The attack portion of this spell also makes use of ammo rules.
From studying Majolica's notes, Flora has discovered how to use the transformation aspects of her magic to transform parts of herself. By using these techniques on a single strand of her hair, she can create a broomstick with offensive capabilities. The broomstick looks like a tightly knotted braid of clean hair the same color as Flora's. The brush end of the broomstick is also made of hair but is much more rigid to allow for sweeping.
Offensively, the broom can create spines of tightly woven and hardened hair to fire at enemies. When the broomstick attacks, strands of hair and plant from the broom rise up automatically and begin to quickly braid the projectile together. The process looks similar to thread spooling.

Pain shooting through the body of the young Nobles body from his clash with the wall. Feeling Floras movements, and hearing her speak, allowed him to focus on his situation while she dealt with the rest. Being slung into a wall from an opponent had become a normal occurrence for him. Which allowed him to know how to deal with the pain; despite it hurting like hell regardless.[break][break]
It felt as if Flora had taken care of the remaining bats rather quickly. She had spoken a few times, but had decided to ignore what she had all said. So, Naxel slowly rose up from the ground to begin walking off the pain. From what he has experienced before; walking off pain was actually a lot useful than rubbing it. He had tried that once before, and the pain felt like it just hurt worse. Oh how weird a human body can be.[break][break]
Once the pain began to subside from his walk; Naxel looked over towards his partner to begin responding to their speaking. From his surprise she was already next to him wondering if he was alright. ”Yeah, I am alright for the time being. It’s sad to say that someone is used to getting slammed into a wall.” Rubbing his neck to just rub it. ”However, I think I can handle the rest from here, Vice-Captain.”[break][break]
The Young Noble would speak his final words to the Blue Rose Vice-Captain. After which, he began walking over towards the way he feels the mana of something big. Whatever it may be is easily felt to be stronger than what they both just dealt with. It is funny to Naxel that the bats look weaker while on the ground. Saying that seems messed up to him, but it is a true statement.[break][break]
Approaching the final area of the cave would be an interesting sight. Bones were around the opening to signify that a lot of things had their attempt. Sadly they didn’t make it very long. Naxel just looked at them for him to continue on into the cave. Feeling whatever his next opponent might be. Hopefully it wasn’t something he couldn’t handle. Oh how bad that would look for the Azure Deer if their future Vice-Captain couldn’t handle a simple beast.[break][break]
Entering the cave opening was a little more dim than the other area. It would then open up into a fairly lit area to appear a grizzly creature chewing on some bone. This sight would make Naxel give a slanted face at its sight. A bear chewing on a bone wasn’t uncommon was it? Most just eat meat right? Clearly this was not an expertise of the young Noble.[break][break]
Coming to a stop; Naxel stood there to give the bear a glare. Knowing that this fight was going to be a very big challenge on his part. His shadow floor following him within the room for both of his claws to be rising out the floor. The bear had quickly noticed the bear, and then began to charge over at him. Naxel smiled at the beast while he jumped into a battle stance.[break][break]
The bears speed was quite impressive; as it almost took no time for the beast to approach. Naxel threw his arm forward to send a claw at the beast. The bear must not be very smart since the claw made contact with its face. Sending the bear backwards upon contact.[break][break]
Naxel made no hesitation to began dashing towards the beast. His opponent made a quick recovery, and began dashing at the Knight once again. Knowing that this creature is aggressive made Naxel know to be on his guard. So being smart with his movements was a must for this battle to go in the right direction.[break][break]
Once the bear was within a short distance from the Knight; it looked as if it was about to attack. So, Naxel would move his claw right in front of him for it to be used as a step. His smirk stayed on his face as he stepped onto the claw to jump into the air right above the beast. At the same time sending his fist right at the bears face.[break][break]
Naxel didn’t have the raw physical strength as someone like Captain Ardere. However, he was still pretty strong for someone to be as small as him. His punch didn’t do much, but just push the bears head to the side. Causing it to move out of the straight line that was his original course.[break][break]
Landing on the ground; The Magic Knight didn’t know that the bear had quickly turned around with the help of being hit. Noticing this had allowed for Naxel to pivot his feet to run in the same direction as the bear. Not a smart move since his back was now exposed to the bear.[break][break]
While moving; Naxel summoned his grimoire in front of him to allow for another spell. “Shadow Creation Magic: Lord Umbras Death Scythes.” He said aloud to where two shadow orbs rose up out of the pages. His hands quickly took ahold of them for the weapons to take their shape. This was a powerful spell, but one that probably wouldn’t finish the job.[break][break]
Turning around, once the scythes in hand, Naxel spun on of his scythes around in a circle. With one motion; he reared back and slung the scythe forward with the aim being the bear. It quickly made contact with the bear for it to sent backwards again. Showing that this creature wasn’t a weak opponent, but a quite powerful thing.[break][break]
It took his opponent a few more seconds to get up compared to last time. The bear rose up, but took a few more seconds than it did the last time. Naxel would use this opportunity to make the first move to charge at the beast. He threw his hand up again for him to repeat his jumping move.[break][break]
However, right before he would make his jump came the sight of the bear moving his head up. Showing that Naxel it caught on to what he was about to do. The Magic Knight would see this, and then decided to drop down to slide under the beast. Tricking the bear that began to jump up a little to counter the Knight. Naxel would then send another punch to the bears underbelly while having a clear shot underneath.[break][break]
The bear flew over, and then landed behind the Knight. Naxel knew that this bear had to be wearing down. Now was the time for him to try and finish off this creature.[break][break]
Naxel quickly rose to his feet for him to begin dashing back at the beast. Feeling like they both were just playing a game of tag. Though Naxel had an idea of how this could be finished. This idea made Naxels face go from a grin to a serious look during the dash.[break][break]
His opponent stood there with his eyes looking towards the Noble. Naxel would bring up both arms for the bear to see the Shadow Claws appearing beside it. This made the bear turn his sight away from Naxel to the claws on each of his side. Leaving an opportunity for the Noble to make his final strike.[break][break]
Right when the Noble approached the beast; his right arm was held back ready for a strike. Right before his final step at the creature was when the Noble send his fist at the bear. Striking his face once again. As well as using his momentum to rear back his left arm, and then sending it forwards to strike the bear once again in the face.[break][break]
The contact of that last hit made Naxel notice that its had enough. Naxel watched as the beast would fall over to the ground in defeat. Making it very clear that the beast was out for the count. Also, allowing Naxel to turn his serious face back into his normal grin.[break][break]
This fight was now over, and the beast was dealt with. Naxel was exhausted at this point, and did not want to see if the bear was ready for round two. So, Naxel would make his way to the direction of where he entered. His next destination was the Azure Deer base where he will take him a good nap and to write his report.[break][break]
