[attr=class, cyrustext]Cyrus stepped off of Naxel's chariot when the Blue Rose knight he had spoken to began to answer he and the others' questions, following her back into their squad's base as Lydia also adding in what she had seen with regards to monsters in the water currently cascading across the streets of Raque. From what the two women said, it seemed like there was quite the variety of foes to be wary of. The young sap mage lightly tugged at a lock of his hair as he considered this information and what it would mean for the rescue effort. The attendant mentioned some rowboats being all they had access to in terms of transport, since their resources were spread thin already trying to deal with this madness.
Lydia made her own decision known, that she would aim for the apparent source of this mysterious flood. From his prior work with the Crimson Lion's Vice Captain, he had little doubt that she was strong enough to back up such an objective. Still, the strange nature this flood had him uneasy. Another young knight, one he was not personally familiar with, joined up with their group as he introduced himself. One of Naxel's squad members, huh? Well, the more the merrier, in situations such as these. With the last of their briefing completed, Cyrus returned to the edge of the water. But instead of rejoining Naxel on his chariot, he decided to take matters into his own hands for the moment. Hama grinned, knowing just what he was about to do; one golem in particular that her partner was especially fond of, though if anyone present had seen them before they might be surprised to see a few differences. "Ciders, come forth!" He called, with three large globs of sap forming in front of him. They rose into the air, forming what almost resembled a floating jack-o-lantern's face, or perhaps even a living fireball, six meters around.
"I suppose the extra size and power is worth the speed reduction and smaller numbers, don't you think Cyrus?" Hama asked her friend as he stepped up onto the head of the center golem. The sap stuck to his feet, holding him steady atop the precarious shape of the creature he summoned. "Well, the reduced speed will probably be a boon at the moment. Easier ride for civilians, and it will probably be easier to spot them if we go slower anyway." He noted, looking back at Naxel. "I say we check out the lower residential region, since she said it was probably the area hit the hardest. My golems can help check out the area around us, and carry and civilians we find."
His own plan made known, Cyrus directed his golem in the direction he had indicated, heading on over. Besides widening their search range, him riding on his golems would also make it so that Naxel could fit more civilians on his chariot. "Spread out and search the residential district!" He ordered his familiars, who bobbed up and down as if in acknowledgement before flying off to do just that.

[attr="class, cyrusstats] Combat Notes Summoned three Cider golems, then headed off to search the lower residential district
Name of Spell: Cider Spell Element: Sap Spell Rank: Senior Mana Cost: 30 | 15 Type of Golem: Predator Applicable Perks: Puppet Master, Armament Description:
Inspired by the curious pumpkin creatures he encountered whilst assisting in the defense of Kikka, Cyrus concocted a creature that seems as though it were ripped straight out of a Halloween story. Superficially the Cider golem almost resembles a sort of living flame, though still made of sap and amber. The eyes and mouth of this particular beast seem to emit an eerie orange glow as a sign of the powerful mana used to condense their shape. While not overly imposing compared to many other golems, the Cider is not to be underestimated. It is capable of reaching a size of up to 6 meters tall, and can be summoned smaller for tighter spaces. They can travel through the air at a pace of 27 meters per second, or 20 meters per second when carrying passengers. To attack, these living comets fly directly into their opponent and their fortifications, smashing into them with their surprisingly durable and powerful bodies for Senior ranked blunt damage. Their amber maws are not just for show either, and can be used to bite down on foes should the need arise. These golems form the backbone of Cyrus' offensive arsenal and are capable of carrying up to three passengers. Up to 3 can be summoned at once.

Willow tilted her head at the other person who was speaking to her, in her native tongue. "Qenvyeqi pa jmier cuy? Pa nepa oj <Fila>! Cuy qori jupiuni piih hu yemma ji ep O!" She shouted with a happy look on her face, quickly correcting herself as the blue rose member spoke to them about the rowboat, the four major sections that they needed to pay a visit to, and the severity of the situation. "Ah, yes, we are being of the need to hasten our movement. Let us making away now!" She declared, with a shaky tone, trying her hardest to sound brave through it all.
When the time came to move out, Willow was one of the very first people to get to the boat, with no means of flying, no brooms, they would be working like a sitting duck almost. They'd need to be safe about the placement of civilians, and careful about any sort of attack. "I will be working on the sensing of anything, be it people or beasts. I am having the ready to go!" For anyone that knew Willow or her people, they'd know that naturally they were rather physically able, though Willow did not look it one bit.
Nonetheless, she sat in the rowing section of the boat, both hands grasping the oars, ready to show she could do it, even though those noodle arms of hers were quaking in anxiety and nerves getting the better of her. Willow's grimoire hovered in the air around her, ready for her to cant out any spells. She wanted to show that she had been training, her spells had taken more shape, they were much more than just flinging little splashes of water.
Whoever joined her in the boat, she would make her way out to the first area, whichever of the four was closest, they had to get moving or suffer the consequences! Make haste, carpe diem and all that!

Naxel had his chariot out on the edge of the water next to where the bit of land left was. The Golden Dawn, Cyrus, took him up on his invite to join him on the search for citizens out in the water. When his partner mounted the chariot he began speaking to the Knight for further answers about the current events. This had halted their departure, and even more when the Blue Rose Knight had asked them to head inside. Cyrus dismounted the chariot right before Naxel followed right behind him. No needing to waste anymore mana, the Noble flick his wrist for the Chariot to disappear into the wind. What was being asked of them had began to bother him a little. Everyone who had arrived came to help out the city to the best of their abilities. Who else better to search for people, in unknown terrain, than a member of the Azure Deer Squad itself. That was until Naxel had noticed that a fellow member of his squad had arrived in Raque to help. Naxel would make his way over towards his co-member ,inside the base, right before the Blue Rose Knight began speaking again. A good detailed briefing had been given by the knight in front of them Before they look a leave for themselves. Naxel took all the information that they were given, and did what he could to process everything that was said. ”Hmm... ” The Knight mumbled to himself before seeing that Cyrus had decided to head back towards the waters edge. He followed the Golden Dawn member over when he saw golems of sap being formed. Cyrus spoke to his Spirit companion, Hama, for a moment before beginning to speak to him. “I will inform the others of your plan. Please be careful, and find as many people as you can. I have seemed to overused my Chariot for now. Whenever it is ready to go again I will join you. Spirits Speed, Cyrus and Hama.” Saying to the Golden Dawn member before heading back to the base to speak with the others.[break][break]
When he arrived back at the base was when he noticed Willow had went to the boat the Blue Rose Knight spoke of. Noting this, he would then continue on back to where his co-member was located. “It is good to see you here Joseph. I Know the Captain sees a lot in you for her to send you here with us. Just remember what you were taught, and do the best that you can. Just please don’t die. Captain Carmelita would kill me if I let a newer member die on my watch.” Speaking to his ally before turning towards the rest of the group within the base. “So, Cyrus has began his search for the citizens that were left within the water. I am speculating that Willow had went to the Boat that our debriefer had mentioned. Whatever we do we need to decide now.” Stopping for a moment to point at the tall women that looked like someone from a child’s hero story. “You said you were going to find this source. That would be the best option we have to begin stopping this flood from staying here. So that is one thing settled.” Then turning back towards Joseph along with the other Golden Dawn member that he had yet to meet properly. “My name is Naxel Blake by the way. This is one of my co-members, Joseph Cobborn.” Giving a proper introduction for himself, and Jospeh, before continuing on. “I think we should head to the boat with Willow. Cyrus has began his search with his golems, and the high mana person behind me will handle their own. Lets get going, we should head for the Hangings Hill.” Informing Jospeh and the Golden Dawn before he would make his way to the boat. When he arrived, Naxel entered the boat to look at his old, but different, Captain. “It is good to see you again Willow. This should be like old times.” Saying to his old friend as he awaits for the other two to enter the Boat.[break][break]
[break] Items[break] Shadow Kings Staff[break] Shadow Chariot[break][break] TL;DR Naxel Listened to the Blue Rose Knight with their briefing. He then followed Cyrus outside to see him off before reentering the base. He spoke with those who were left inside, and then went out to the boat to join Willow. [attr="class","florencetext"]Lydia was getting ready to make her way to the church as a second azure deer mage showed up. One could say the man was late but in the end it didn't matter after all that meant one more set of hands to help save the citizens and fight the mana beast. The vice captain would have left right after the mage showed up if it wasn't for the blue rose mage speaking up and giving the five magic knight a more detailed run down of the state of things. It seemed four main places needed the most help and while they had the numbers to cover each area it would leave them pretty thin in numbers which was something Lydia didn't want to put the lower ranked magics knights in. She knew they had skill after all they were able to become magic knights but this wasn't like a normal mission. Luckily it seemed the others had the same thoughts on the matter so far. As the groups started to form Lydia would speak up again. You can call me Lydia and yes ideally I should be able to handle my spot alone. [break][break] If anyone has a spell that allows us to keep in touch I'd recommenced using it. The better we can keep in touch the less likely we are unable to save someone. Lydia of course knew it wasn't going to be possible to save others this was a battlefield and not everyone got to go home after the battle. She could only hope the others knew the same. If everything is in order I'll be heading out now good luck everyone The glass mage would then walk out of the base using her wings to take to the sky reach forty meters above the ground before making her way to whatever the hell was waiting at the church.

Hinota blinked hearing the new mumbled voice and turned around to see the new person that had seemingly turned up late, she, however, kept her thoughts to herself as he might have just got back from a mission and given orders. She brought up her hands and signed to him how it was a pleasure to meet him, she apologised to make the assumption that he could sign but she noticed how he seemed uncomfortable talking so believed he would have found a way that he would feel more comfortable. She informed him that her own elder brother was a mute so she had to learn sign to communicate so if this was easier for him he could do so and she would let the others who may not know what is being said. "I am Hinota Yuiee of the Golden Dawn, it is a pleasure to meet you Joseph." she said with a friendly tone nodding to what he had said about moving alone "I agree, it doesn't seem wise. I am new to sensory but it doesn't feel right, the magic seems... I don't know... Corrupt..." she said, she had to admit she didn't know if this was normal for mana but at the same time, she couldn't exactly say that up until this point she had felt anything like it. "I would have to guess that a sensory specialist would know better than myself if this is normal or not but if I had to wager a guess I'm guessing the latter, she stated hearing Willow talk to her again and smiled. [break][break] She nodded to the first part of the statement "<Fila> hii cio paah hi mqayjoka y ej eh. Yoqhokaj ynx kyyaj maimqa ihtak yzioh qakn hu xayexax E ji om vkufenv jtaqhakax fyj E, caj" she said in the woman's native tongue before they went back to speaking common. By then the Blue Rose member had given them information on what was needed and she had nodded, Willow and the others seemingly agreeing that time was of the essence. Due to everything going on she hadn't even noticed that her senior had already made a move to start looking for survivors but still she felt odd that he went off on his own and it gave her a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach 'Please, be safe Cyrus...' she thought to herself but was quickly brought out of her thoughts as the senior of the Azure Deer spoke to introduce himself "Hinota Yuiee of the Golden Dawn." she said once again now feeling like a broken record as she had introduced herself three times by this point but given with everything going on she didn't know if she had been heard the first two times and thought it better to be safer than sorry. "If we use the rope that would tether the boat to the broom I'm using and you direct me I can pull us towards where we are needed that way no one is exhausting themselves with rowing." she suggested to those that she seemingly would be going with, she had no idea if this would be of any use but she thought she'd give the idea anyway just in case, it did seem logical to her as tired people made mistakes or might be slower due to exhaustion thus perhaps a life that otherwise could have been saved would be snuffed out, she wasn't going to take chances if there were other options that could make it a bit safer for everyone involved. [break][break] She had noticed that the woman that was going to take care of the epicentre of this crisis had seemingly stopped to listen to the additional information given to the group. When she stated her name she tilted her head "Would that be vice-captain Lydia Ravencrest?" she asked as she had previously noticed the mantle the woman had around her shoulders, so it would make sense however due to the transformation spell and her lack of experience in sensory she had no idea for sure so that was why she had asked. "That is ideal, that way we can keep in touch if we get separated or require backup." her voice gentle, her eyes closed as she heard the harsh truth that she didn't want to think of, it was a battlefield and every battle had casualties. She took a deep breath to push down the darkened feeling she often got when it came to notions of death and harm, she couldn't lose control here or she'd be no better than the threat they were trying to get rid of. No, she would just concentrate on those requiring aid and saving who she could, it was easier for her to deal with the tragedies that were to come. With that, she gave a quick nod and followed Willow to her boat lowering just enough to grab the rope and attached it to the broom she was using and would make her way into the open waters that Raque had become when everyone who wanted to be aboard was tugging it behind her.
[break][break] She had no idea what was waiting for them but at least being away from the Blue Roses headquarters would keep those inside safe, at least that's what she had hoped but with how things were she was unsure. Her parents had dealt with Daemons during the shattering and they weren't ever the same so she wondered if this turn of events would help quell the darkness within her or would make it grow exponentially. She had to admit she was scared but then she never thought she would be in this situation, fate honestly seemed to hate her and kept pushing her into situations that she never, ever wanted to find herself in but alas she was a magic knight and this would happen more often than she liked. Now she was wondering if her parents knew of her inner darkness and if they had if that was why they didn't want her to become a member of a magic knight squad without supervision? It was something she would have to ask them after this endeavour because it seemed like she bore a curse on her shoulders and wanted to break it. That was an issue for future Hinota, current-day Hinota had to remain focused as she moved further into the unknown waters away from the safety of the Blue Roses. [break][break]

The rose knights words confirmed some of the worries that had been swimming in their head, but that was fine. It didn't matter that things were so terrifying, that this situation was so grim and worrisome. They just had to plan and take things one step at a time, like they were right now. It was safe to say that his tracking spell had ended not long after getting in, but the sounds it made and visions it had shown still lingered in his mind. It hadn't exactly looked welcoming, warm, and fuzzy. Emergency situations weren't supposed to. Would he be alright in a battle? That was an unknown that caused a brief speed of the heart, but that was calmed by the reminder of their mission. The current goal right now was to safe as many people as they could, not purposely seek out the enemies and battle. This was a race against time and enemies that might attack at any turning point. The madness was contained to this town, so the focus was on here, nowhere else. It would be alright. Emotions still wrung high, but now it felt a bit more like they could save many others. The church being the epicenter was a bit strange, but not too much? If there were no qualms with hurting so many, doing so from a holy location was unlikely to bother them. He didn't need to think on more on that subject, it would be a distraction from the goal of saving as m,any as possible from the waters.
As for talking with others? Joseph briefly wondered if he had made a mistake. Of those he had tried to speak with using sign language, the one with pink hair was speaking a language he didn't understand, followed by some rough variant of the spoken language he could understand. It felt like those two had been in their own private conversation, that trying to converse with either might have been very rude. It might be better to not try anything more until they seemed more available. Would they still near enough to try at that point? But those feelings changed as soon as Hinota started speaking. Maybe the worries of being rude were ill founded, they were all here to help after all. It was a bit of a relief. She had family that used sign language? That was definitely good. His emotions were certainly at a high point right now, so that would make things easier. The area felt corrupt to her? He started signing a response, arms, hands and fingers quickly moving along. “It's good to meet you miss Yuiee. It's the first time I've heard of it being described that way, but it makes sense. For me, sensory magic comes through like many sounds and tunes. Typically an areas many tunes sound a lot like a harmonious and beautiful song of sorts without a real start or end. At the moment sounds a bit like madness to me though.” How else would he describe that music? Madness seemed the best description for the chaotic and unnerving chorus of different tunes.
The woman that had left towards the center of town must have been amazing in power and courage to leave for the center of all the danger. Hintoas words only confirmed as much. One doesn't get such ranking by skipping around a pretty field of flowers after all. His hands moved to sign out more words. “I can use communication spells, but I can only use it to contact two people.” Maybe there will be a larger limit when he gets better? Until than, Cobborns magic wouldn't be useful if everyone broke into too many groups. Seeing Naxel return was a relief, even if it was to get him and a few others to come along with him. Actually, wasn't that ideal? The peach haired person followed the man back to the boat, letting out a bit of a sigh after getting on. “It's good to see you Blake Sir. I've never tried to die nor not do my best, so I will keep doing my best.” He signed these words out. Did the busy stronger mage notice the talking? Joseph was just so relieved that it seemed like many would be in a group and he was part of it that it didn't matter so much at this second. It felt like he was going to be able to do more as part of a group, being only a junior. Should he use the communication spell? Likely not yet, it felt like everyone had barely started to head out. Willow? Pink eyes looked towards the girl he didn't know the name of yet. Was that it? Maybe that was a question for another day.
Cyrus moved with his golems to the residential area...it truly was a mess, the whole area was flooded and no rooftops could be seen of any house. What was more concerning was the fact that it looked like there was something big just below the surface, slinking its way around...almost reminiscent of the Chasm Crawlers of Atlantis. Through scanning for survivors you finally come upon a group about 10 meters away from your current position. The issue is that they are currently trapped by exactly 3 Tridents, and 2 Lurkers. It looked as though the group of survivors was three people. If Cyrus moves quickly he might be able to save them.
The Church-Lydia
As Lydia would actually make her move to the church she would fly over the turbulent waters, even passing a few people along the way and monsters...she could of course stop to help them, but that would start a round of fighting and unfortunately stop her from moving towards the church.
If she continued it would be like flying into the eye of a hurricane. The peaceful scene above the swirling mass leaving only the church intact. It was surrounded by 4 Sea Emperors and a dozen tridents as they patrolled the small area at the center of the swirling whirlpool. In order to enter the church and see what they are guarding, Lydia will need to fight at least 1 Sea Emperor and 3 Tridents.
The Hangman’s Hill-Hinota, Willow, Naxel, Joseph
Taking the boat to Hangman’s hill was the best option, Hinota using her broom to propel them quickly would allow them to cover the most land in the shortest amount of time. Once in sight of the hill they could see that there was only one person standing there scared, at least from their stance...A Sea Emperor however was holding up a woman by her throat, and the closer they got to the hill the easier it was to spot that the tree that the Blue Rose had told them about was now twisted and there were bodies littered all around it...it was the very vision of what hell would be like for the sinners. They would need to move fast to save the woman, and hopefully they could take on the massive minion of a daemon.
There you have it, you all split the party and now shit is going down. You can see that if you don't act fast...civilians are going to die. For every civilian that dies it will be a smudge on this report that will never come off. Move fast and strike hard.
If you have to get into the water or are thrown into it, you will suffer half movement speed decrease and a possible chance of being attacked.

It had been a long while since the Azure Deer had used another means of transportation besides his chariot. The feeling of this boat really felt weird to him while the small waves of the water rocked it from side to side. His chariot had never moved around this much. Usually it would fly smoothly against the wind, unless he maneuvered it around too much. But, the feeling that this boat was giving didn’t really bother him as bad as the feeling was different. What made him feel a little more comfortable about being on here was the fact he was accompanied by three other Knights. This boat at plenty of room, and was able to carry three of them where they needed to go. Hinota, the Golden Dawn he just met, took it upon herself to tie a rope to the craft for them to have someone guide the boat were it needed to go. She was doing a really good job in his eyes. Sadly, that wasn’t his job as he would turn to his side, with his arms crossed and staff on his back, to look out onto the water. What he was viewing was really a sad sight for the eye to see. Naxel had remembered coming to this amazing town a few times before whenever he first joined the squad. Not only that, he also visited this place a lot whenever he was growing up. His parents would take him down to this little shop next to the beach that sold iced snacks. Those were always so amazing with the sun beating down on your face. Refreshing as well. Now, it all was underwater by this mysterious force that had an evil feeling to it. There has been a few different times before whenever someone had mentioned the name ‘Daemon’ to the young Knight. His squad had done some secret recon missions to find some information about these creatures. Most of the stuff that was found had quickly became classified to normal members of the squad. Though, he did remember when Artemis of the Green Mantis and Yuurei of the Silver Eagles had mentioned that name before. They were a mystery to him, but he knew enough to know they aren’t beings that should be left to roam freely. Occurrences, such as here in Raque, would be a normal thing across the Entire Clover Kingdom if they were.[break][break]
Time went on for a few moments while Naxel looked out at the water to find any survivors that were adrift. Nothing had crossed his line of sight which made him feel like they were too late getting this search started. His hands would tightly grasp his arms, where they were cross, In frustration. He didn’t make this obvious to see as he didn’t want to make the other Knights feel worried in anyway. This event had just struck a horrible nerve in his body. Why would someone, or something, want to destroy an entire city like this. People in this town had done nothing wrong to where they had to suffer in such a way as this. Naxel had friends that lived in, or near, this town to where it would affect their lives. People that he cared about, despite not showing it whenever he needed too. Though, it was just only a few days ago when Naxel and the Vice-Captain, Flora, went on a mission within a cave to fight mana beasts. Now, she is no where in his area of sense. Not even back at the Squad base did he sense her mana anywhere. It wasn’t like her to not be in her city to help, protect, and care for the people of her bases town. There must be something far more dire going on for her to be away from Raque. That would continue through his mind as he would pick up a faint mana signature off in the distance. Naxel turned his head over in the direction that he had sensed it. Nothing could be seen at the moment, but he would need Hinota to be ready to change directions in a split second. “Hinota, continue on this course. I feel a faint mana signature up ahead, but it doesn’t feel like it is strong. Might be a survivor that has found land, and needs our immediate assistance.” He directed as they would continue on their course.[break][break]
As they would arrive closer to this mana source it would seem like the place that they were instructed to head. It was odd, though, as the place they were headed seemed to have this mana signature that he had picked up a few moments ago. Naxel would focus his sight in the direction of the signature to notice a faint image of someone on a patch of land that didn’t submerge in the water. When they approached closer to the land was when he began to sense a mana signature that felt really off, along with the faint one. His eyes would strain a little to get a look at the place to see that there was someone standing there. Naxel couldn’t really tell what they were doing besides just standing there. What he could tell was that the description of the location they were told about began to appear right in front of them where the person was at. The strange thing about it was that the description must of been slightly more nicer in her eyes. This place had a tree that was twisted around, far different that what they were told about. It was only then when he began to notice bodies that were lying on that patch of land. Naxels eyes grew wide in horror at this sight. Who could of done such a horrible act as to kill this many people? Why would they kill them? It was then when Naxel could see who he could blame for this horrid crime against the people of the Clover Kingdom. A creature that he had not ever seen before was holding that person, he noticed, by the throat. They were the faint mana signature that he had felt while the creature was the off other signature. Rage began to boil inside his body as this sight was not something that he would let go so easily. “Shadow Creation Magic.... Lord Umbras Death Scythes!” Began speaking slowly before screaming out into a roar as his grimoire was slow to keep up with his words. The pages quickly flipped before landing onto the page of the spell for two orbs of shadowy mana to rise out. A chain would shoot out of one to attach to another. Naxel reached out to grab both of the orbs with his hands for them to shoot out to take shape of two double blades scythes. “I might not be an all powerful Magic Knight like Captain Carmelita, but you will die by my hands CREATURE!” Screaming out as he quickly spun his left scythe around in a circle outside of the boat, so he didn’t hit anyone. When it would hit the speed he wanted, he would then sling the weapon towards the creature holding the girl as they were around 50 meters from the land and creature. His scythe would travel at a speed of 45 meters per second. Aiming at whatever would it would hit in hopes to let the citizen down. Naxel would hope his spell would hit as it would cause a knock back if the blade made contact with the creature.[break][break]

Upon speaking the spell, two orbs will rise out of the pages of the book to appear in front of the user. A chain will shoot out of one to attach to the other orb. Then, the orbs will take shape into two double bladed scythes. On both scythes, one blade comes out to curve slightly downwards at the end while the other side slightly curves up at the end. Due to the chain with this spell the user can throw the scythes, and can easily pull them back. In Addition, This spell has quick shot which gives an addition +5 m/s to the speed of weapon spell. It also has knock back which can knock back the opponent 8 meters, plus +5 for every 10 stats the user has in power. Battle knight also allows for a +9 power stat boost. Lastly, Apex predator allows for +3 power to be added for every hit, that a attack spell with this perk, makes on an opponent. It will cap after 5 attacks or +15.[break][break]

Naxel had picked up a mana signature, that was faint, that wound up leading them to the location they were told to go. Once they got close, there was a creature that was holding a person by the throat. This enraged Naxel for him to recite a spell quicker than his grimoire could react. Summoning his Dual Scythes, he spun it around quickly only to send it towards the Creature in hope it dropped them. There was no exact spot he was aiming for, but he just knew he was aiming for the Daemon.[break]

[attr=class, cyrustext]With the various parties' plans all set in motion, Cyrus was off and on his way to the residential district to search for any survivors. The sight of what was once a beautiful city in such a state of devastation would have certainly brought tears to the young man's eyes if it weren't for the fact that he needed them to spot survivors. After all, he may have begun to develop his Ki sensing abilities, but he was still a novice at best. Until such a day came where he could trust that sixth sense more than the other five, he would have to make due. And the occasional glimpse of a large shadow underneath the water's surface struck a familiar chord with the mage.
That being said, he still had the advantage of his golems as well. And as he flew over the treacherous waters of the flooded city, he felt a sense of excitement coming from the direction he had sent one of his Ciders. Cyrus mentally recalled the other one, and flew towards the location of the golem who had discovered something of interest. There, down below, he could sense it before they came into view; a trio of civilians, trapped by five monsters; two of one sort, and three of a different variety. His golems were capable, but a little outnumbered at the moment. He flipped his grimoire open, zeroing in on one of its newest pages. "Heliades!" Cyrus spoke, as two glowing lights emerged from his tome.
The lights grew until they each stood eight meters high, with each one forming a large hammer-like weapon on one arm and an ornate shield on the other. They grew large, segmented wings, giving these new golems an appearance that might call angels to the mind of those who saw them. "Citizens of Raque, be ready to escape! Heliades, attack the two similar monsters! Ciders, you go after the other three!"
At their master's order the five summons charged their respective targets; one of the Heliades barreled towards its foe with its shield for a bash, while the other prepared to smash its own target with its hammer. The Ciders each moved to tackle into their targets, including the one that Cyrus was riding on. He looked at the innocent people, then at his partner. "Hama, tell them to prepare themselves so that they can get on one of the golems once there is a chance." He instructed the spirit, who nodded and flew down to them.
"Hamadryad, the Spirit of Sap! That over there is my partner, Cyrus Elwood of the Golden Dawn! Everyone, please be ready; he intends to escort you all to safety on his golems once we have an opening!" She informed them after introducing herself.
As he got closer to the civilians, Cyrus cast another spell. "I'm going to use my "Syrup Shroud" to protect you! Do not fear it, my friends!" He called out, covering himself in an amber aura and launching three identical spells at the innocents; a precautionary measure, to hopefully bolster their resilience and give them some comfort.

[attr="class","florencetext"]Before Lydia left she would turn to look at the female golden dawn mage who asked if she was the vice captain of the crimson lions. That would be me however it not that important after all we have people to save. It seemed the azure deer mage name Joseph was able to use a communication spell but he would also state it could only reach two people with it. That works just fine after all you'll still be with the other three so the only two you'd need to contact are Cyrus and myself. It just needs to be every once and a while if you can so we can keep each other in the loop so long as you have the mana to do so no need to put yourself at risk of running out of mana just to make our lives easier. With that Lydia would leave after all it was up the the azure deer mage if he deemed the spell worth the mana and Lydia wouldn't blame him in the man didn't. The vice captain was making her way to the church as fast as she could after all she was worried about her twin brothers safety but she still had a job to do. [break][break] The glass mage would slow down to a stop as she spot some citizens alive in the water. She really had two choices she could either keep going and possibly leaving them to die reaching the church faster or save the citizens slowly down her progress. The choice was of course clear to her. Light Magic: Caladbolg As the first sword appear in her hand she would use her control to make two more light swords. She would then look around for a safe spot to place the citizens once she saved them so she could keep moving. Once the pink haired mage found a spot she would make her way towards the citizens. As soon as a mana beast came into view Lydia would launch her first spell at it before using the last two in case there was more.

The boat had its own means of transportation now, they had a way to get to The Hangman's Hill. Willow would not have to worry about attacking, Naxel would be able to handle that. Hinota from the Golden Dawn was helping them get around, Joseph, was doing whatever he was going to do. Willow just took in a deep breath and readied her grimoire, a magic circle forming over its pages while a dolphin made from water 'breached for air' and then sank into the water around them, forming a glowing circle that spread out from WIllow's person. It was with this, she would utter her spell.
"Myxxqi Kiwqiyhonv." With this glowing ring of sensing magic spreading out from her, it would encompass enough of an area around the boat so that she could point out anyone within reach, or any monster that was seeking them out. "I am being on the out looking for anyone trapped. If there are being any mana beasts, I shall be endeavoring to inform you of their presence." Sure, they were sailing through the streets of Raque, so deep that the rooftops were now sea level, and yes, her voice was quaking with constant fear and anxiety, but, she would do her best to try and maintain a sense of calm for once.
Though, with her ability to wield water, and her soul is that of one of the former strongest of the nation, how would that affect things? She hadn't learned much about herself pre-shatter, but from what she had been told by a couple of select people, her captain being one of them, she used to be a brave warrior who would rather fight solo against hordes of insurmountable odds, while she was so meek that she couldn't even bring herself to hunt for berries on her own!

A blessing or a curse that the group managed to leave as soon as they had? How many corpses would they run into? That was a terrible thought that dug into the peachy haired man's stomach. His stomachs churning being bad enough that it felt like there was something more than water inside. This was the first time that could be remembered where those pale pink eyes had spotted any corpses. The lack of food inside was more than likely one of the few reasons he had no urges to vomit. There were so many dead just strewn about in a seemingly careless manner. ‘Willow’ had already started using sensory skills, Blake had started an attack. Just standing around felt like a very useless thing to do, but how could he add anything to the situation at this point? His only spells at this point involved communication and sensory. How would he communicate during a time where everything was frantic? Joseph started trying to use his mouth, but no sounds left the moving lips. Damnit, damnit! This was frustrating, but he couldn’t force sound out when it refused. There was no time to wait for it to pop out. Would signing do any good? Cobborn didn’t think so, but tried despite the doubt. “I only know tracking and communication spells right now. How can I help without getting in the way?” He wouldn't let himself get beaten by himself. There was no point in giving up when he was there to help. This entire scene was nauseating and horrifying, a sort of sickness he couldn't have even fathomed in nightmares up to this point. If he couldn't figure out what he could do that wasn't already being done, then he would ask. If words wouldn't come from the lips, he would use the hands. There was no giving up from him, no matter what.
Hinota continued going straight, her sensory was really not the best but she was trying none the less to feel out the area around her but she wasn't getting anything, then again it honestly didn't help that she was worried about falling into the water as she still hated flying on her own. Her head turned back towards the direction of the Blue Roses headquarters as she bit her lip, was it right to leave them there with so many innocents? She knew the squad were strong but if they were attacked then they would be forced to defend and try to defeat their opponent and with their numbers spread so thin already she feared they wouldn't be able to continue healing and helping those who were wounded or otherwise were suffering the after-effects of being in the icy cold water for too long. People could honestly die over this, she knew of the daemons thanks to the stories from her parents, other magic knights who had been active during the shattering and even from books she had studied but here she was, a sixteen-year-old pacifist female having to potentially face-off with one. She still didn't know why the fates hated her or she kept getting into these situations but she was glad that she wouldn't be facing it alone. [break][break] She had originally watched Joseph's fingers as he had signed before he had left and understood why a musician or someone with something dealing with sound, in general, might see it in that manner, now, however, she had to wonder if all sensory mages or even all mages sensed mana differently. "Though I'm new to sensing thing Joseph to me mana is more like a tranquil garden or lake when someone or something isn't right it almost feels like there are ripples in the water or that the garden starts to wilt, but depending on how bad the energy is the ripples can turn into full-on waves or the garden starts to die completely. It feels chocking." she explained to him in the hopes he understood what she meant but she wasn't sure. At times she had a hard time explaining things, especially in a metaphorical sense. Once again she turned her head back in the direction she was steering the boat, it seemed like they had covered quite the distance using the broom to pull the boat alone, far more she expected they would be able to cover if they had been rowing. She knew by that logic they would be able to save people they otherwise wouldn't be able to and that gave her a small amount of peace of mind in this terrible situation they had all found themselves in. She knew she, herself had merely stumbled into it on her way to visit a friend but likely knew it wasn't the case for the others but as they were all magic knights it didn't matter how they got here they were all bound by duty to end it at the end of the day. [break][break] Hearing Naxel's voice she looked back trying to hear him over the sounds of the waves and the wind passing her ears, though she did hear his order "Yes sir." she called back to the senior mage, her eyes looking to the glowing water in wonder for a second but she almost dipped due to the distraction but caught it as her feet touched the water, she cussed herself internally that she allowed herself to falter this wasn't what her squad was known for, they were the best of the best, it was a squad full of gifted individuals. She moved the broom as fast as she could safely until they neared a hill her eyes went wide as she saw a mana beast and bodies littering around it, in its hand she seen a woman quaking in fear. Instinctually she moved her hand forward as a red pink gradient seal appeared from it and was aimed right at the woman, soon the strong smell of strawberries was in the air thanks to the oddity her magic held, from the seal pink and red rose petals came flooding out and started to dance around the woman to heal any damage she may have sustained before their arrival. While she was doing this she had no idea that Naxel himself had released a spell until it was moving towards their enemy, she hoped to the fates that the action of the other wouldn't end in the death of the woman, she didn't think any of them wanted that kind of stain on their record. [break][break]
Name of Spell: Petal Dance[break] Elemental Type: Flower[break] Rank & Spell Type: Junior ¦ Healing[break] Range & Speed: 25 meters ¦ 10 m/s[break] Mana Cost: 10 ¦ 5[break] Stats Effected: N/A[break] Applicable Perks: Elemental Oddity ¦ Archangel's Blessing[break] Description: Hinota is naturally skilled with healing magic and she uses this to her benefit. By merely raising her hand in front of her gracefully she holds her hand out creating a magic circle that starts out red and changes to a baby pink, the aroma of strawberries seem to come from the circle as deep red and baby pink rose petals come forth towards the person she has aimed at. The rose petals start seemingly dancing around the target as if trapped in an air current. By using the ammo rules this allows they petals to split off from the original target to heal additional allies, while these petals are dancing around her allies it will continue to heal them over time while attempting to remove any hexes, curses, poisons, venoms until fully healed or she ends the spell.
Cyrus moved with his golems to the residential area, ordering his golems to go to help the residents with Hama in tow, his other golems and himself personally were heading straight in for action as the clash could be heard as the daemons all turned and attacked the golems. Some went for a two on one, and overwhelmed the golems as there was push back. As one would be destroyed, another would attack in its place. After about three minutes the refugees had been brought upon the golem, Cyrus had rescued his group of four, but he was still stuck in combat with a single lurker as the bastard had managed to tear through his Golem, leaving him stranded on that island and surrounded by two Tridents and the lone Lurker.
The Church-Lydia
Saving the two refugees was easy, and they would be able to get back to dry land outside the Blue Rose base quickly due to where they were left due to Lydia. It was all in all a good job that he did not leave them, the giant shadow lurking under the surface of the water came by right after...what was that thing?
The church, surrounded by 4 Sea Emperors and a dozen tridents as they patrolled the small area at the center of the swirling whirlpool. In order to enter the church and see what they are guarding, Lydia will need to fight at least 1 Sea Emperor and 3 Tridents. The first one she charged was a trident that did not know what was happening as it was pinned to the wall. It did not scream for help as it did not have the chance, but went into a self preservation mode and it began to quickly fire off jets of water at a point blank range. One would hit Lydia regardless as she dispatched it rather quickly, but she was not quiet...the Sea Emperor was alerted , as it let out a roar. The others began to mobilize and move towards her location
The Hangman’s Hill-Hinota, Willow, Naxel, Joseph
Taking the boat to Hangman’s hill was easy enough and Hinota’s and Naxel’s quick thinking did not go unnoticed as the Sea Emperor smiled and instantly dropped the woman, the scared man from before ran up thinking it was a good idea...too bad for him that it was not as the SeaEmperor merely swung his arm back before going to meet with Naxel’s spell...that poor man had his stomach and general chest area turned to ground beef without effort as the man fell to his knees before the woman. He yelled out and tried to keep his innards from spilling out, but instead he became like the others...a mess upon the ground. The woman that Hinota had saved begun to heal slowly but looked at the man with a horrified expression before looking at her to-be saviors...would she be trapped there on that island. The Sea Emperor let out a laugh as it grabbed one of the scythe’s of Naxels, before jumping into the water and using it to start swimming around the boat, creating a whirlpool around them. ”Good...It would be a waste to continue to prey upon the meek...I would much rather have something with a little more...bite.”
Let’s fight. You all know what you are up against. No stats will be given out besides health. The Tridents: Intermediate The Lurkers: Senior Sea Emperors: Grand
If you have to get into the water or are thrown into it, you will suffer half movement speed decrease and a possible chance of being attacked.

[attr=class, cyrustext]The next few minutes after he ordered his attack were hectic; though the numbers were the same on both sides, the sea creatures that had been surrounding the civilians were better at working together than he had anticipated. They worked together, attacking as one or after each other to target individual golems and bring them down. Luckily however, they were so preoccupied in dealing with he and his golems that one of his Heliades had managed to pick up stranded innocents, holding them on the flat back part of its shield and carrying them back into the air at his command. Hama was once again at her partner's side, or rather on his shoulder.
Cyrus looked at the creatures that surrounded him; the Cider he had been riding was destroyed, now leaving him on the same island he had just rescued the civilians from. Two of the weaker enemies remained, and one of the stronger variety was left. He kept his eyes on the stronger and one of the weaker, focusing his Ki so that he could also watch the movements of the one outside his field of vision. It was a good thing he had gotten the basics of Ki sensing down, though Hama was also watching his back just to be safe.
Still, they were in a tricky situation. The Heliades could easily carry him in addition to the civilians it was carrying now, but he dared not risk calling it over while these creatures were still alive. Calling forth more golems was an option, but it was possible they would be dog-piled like those before them. And with their little battlefield being surrounded with water containing who knows what, and these monsters being aquatic themselves, trying to swim for it would get him nowhere fast except perhaps a grave with his name on it.
Cyrus took a deep breath, analyzing the situation carefully. He himself was still unharmed; the golem he had been riding had seen to that, and his Syrup Shroud spell was still intact as well. Actually... from what he could sense, so too was the same spell he had cast on the civilians as well. That gave him an idea. "Hey Hama," He said, the spirit glancing back at him for a moment when he called out to her. "I've got an idea. You ready to make a move?"
The sap fairy nodded, not sure what he had in mind but having a feeling it was their best bet for the moment. "Go for it!" She urged her partner. He chanced a look upwards. "Everybody hold on tight and trust me!" He called out to the people his golem was protecting.
Cyrus' grimoire began to glow, and from its' pages came a brilliant light that floated into the air above him and split into four, forming a square around him. At a glance, it might have almost looked as though he were summoning more of the Heliades golems. But instead of armored angels, the lights each took on the shape of large amber stars.
Cyrus smiled. "Falling Star!" He called out, ducking down so that the cape of his Magic Knight mantle covered the area just around his body. At the call of the spell, the amber stars immediately began to spin rapidly in the air above Cyrus, before exploding into massive hails of tiny star shrapnel across the whole area. But as the shrapnel reached the wizard's golem and his wards, the stars harmlessly vanished on contact.
"A spell I cast can't damage a spell I also cast," Cyrus thought in his head as the shrapnel also passed harmlessly over himself but bombarded the area around him. Though they impacted the ground, the area beneath Cyrus remained unscathed thanks to his presence protecting it. "So the ground beneath us should be fine as well!"
Hama watched the explosion of stars, a bit stunned by the display. Cyrus didn't often actually resort to using his offensive spells, so seeing such a thing felt surreal.
Cyrus just hoped that it did the trick.

Name of Spell: Falling Star Elemental Type: Sap Rank & Spell Type: Senior | Attack Creation Range & Speed: 80m | 40m/s | 70m AoE Mana Cost: 30 | 15 Stats Effected: +9 Power Applicable Perks: Apex Predator, Battle Knight, Area of Triumph Description: A simple yet powerful spell, embracing practicality and results. Reflective of Cyrus' desire to prove himself within the Magic Knights, he can use it to create a star-shaped mass of amber as large as 40 cubic meters (though he can also form it in a smaller shape for when such size is impractical). Once the desired size, Cyrus shoots the star from its position above him in the direction of his target, spinning like a massive shuriken or discus for cutting and impact damage. On casting this spell, he receives a +9 buff to his Power stat (thanks to Battle Knight). When Falling Star makes contact with an enemy or object, or simply reaches the end of its range, its behavoir is determined by Cyrus; it can either dissipate then and there, or it can explode into a hail of shrapnel made of smaller stars that will cut those within a 70 meter area (thanks to Area of Triumph). Repeated successful castings of this spell will also provide Cyrus with a +3 buff to his Power stat, up to 5 times for a maximum possible buff of +15 thanks to Apex Predator.
