A bright moon rose over Dran as he drifted through the streets of Kikka. He wasn't sure why, but the world around him seemed so much more vibrant in the calming light of the moon. He had such a nostalgic feeling from the town never the less as he passed through as a stranger in the streets. The remnants of his mantle shown clearly which is why most of the eyes within the houses turned away at his passing. His deep calm breaths were the only sound he heard as he traveled what seemed like an endless distance. Where was he going? What was he doing? The white haired mage would continue to ask himself until finally he stopped in his tracks his calm yet distant voice would slowly spill from his lips. "Why am I here anyways?" The mage questioned to himself as a building seemed to stop him in his tracks. Typically the mage would turn, however it seemed like an odd placement for a building, and as Dran read the sign in the front he gave a scoff. "The hall of heroes huh?" the mage said with a cold tone, however as he tried to turn his body seemed to freeze. "I guess I'll take a look" Dran said with a calmer tone than before walking towards the entrance.
His footsteps once again were the only sound the mage seemed to hear as he stepped forward the silence proving nobody seemed to be around, Or if they were they seemed good at not breathing. As Dran stepped through the halls his eyes turned towards the mass amount of tombs whose names seemed to decorate them. "So these are the heroes huh? Do all heroes die?' Dran questioned as he stepped further into the hall of tombs his eye gazing about, however nothing seemed to catch his eye in the first few rows. What seemed to catch Dran's eye were a few flowers place upon a few tombs, and without a care ge began to approach them. "ha. It seems you heroes have admirers even in the aft-" was all that Dran could get out as he looked at the name of one of the tombs.
He wasn't sure what came over him as his blood began to run cold his skin turning even paler than before as the plant mage reached his hand out moving the flower from the tombs name to read. "Silas... Vermillion?" as the words slipped from Dran's mouth a splitting headache seemed to hit him. His hands quickly ran up to his head gripping it tightly as the white haired mages knees hit the ground his grunts of agonizing pain filling the hall.
"W-What is this" Dran questioned as his head lowered to the floor his forehead tapping the cold floor as images of a smiling flaming haired boy passed in and out of his mind. Though the pain from the headache was bad his hands quickly moved down gripping the cloth above his heart "Ahh" was all Dran could manage to get out as a simple sentence left the plant mages mouth A...A promise" was all the plant mage could muster as the sound drops of water slamming against the ground filled Dran's ears. He wasn't sure when, but at some point his eyes had closed, and when he tried to open them the burning pain of the tears flowing from his tear ducts seemed to blind him. The plant mage acted quick trying to wipe away the tears on his mantle, however the tears seemed to refuse to stop, and to Dran's surprise his body seemed to shift itself and lean against the tomb. "it's ridiculous" Dran managed to get out with a still almost breathless tone. "I... Don't remember you... But I remember I promised you... I promised you something" Dran said with a soft cracking voice. "I don't know what happened" Dran said forcing himself to wipe what was left of his tears from his eyes. "But I'm going to find out, and when I do.." Dran would say as his weak arms pushed himself up "When I do" This time the mage was without a word more to say. 'When I find out the promise. I'll apologize for forgetting it... So just wait until then" Dran would say reaching down as his hand touched the flower using his plant magic to force the flower to bud another upon the same stem. "I'll be back" Dran said softly as his right hand gripped his mantle "And my first clue will be this" Dran said softly looking at the emblem on his mantle as he began to exit the tomb.
