Feathers fell on the ground as a bird took flight from the tree and flew up high towards the castle wall. It landed on the window frame one of the windows on the wall and there it chirped happily. Blaine was comfortably sitting on the a chair with a desk in front of him. Back against the chair and hands rested on the desks, clutching on some parchment with his brown eyes reading on each lines of the paragraph. It was an ordinary day for magic knight and he started to grow bored of this task. Sighing, Blaine took his gaze off from the paper for a moment and took in the view of the room. The area mostly looked like what an ordinary office would be like, on his case.
The chirping sound of the bird made Blaine to take a look on it, then looked back on the paper putting his attention back on the object in his hand. Soon the captain of Purple Orca squad barged in the room and asked for anyone to do some mission around the area outside. The offer sounded tempting as he wanted to do some stretching after some hour spent on reading the parchment. But he shouldn't be pushy on the matter and looked around for anyone among the other magic knights who wanted to do it. Some of them already gone out of the place to go on a mission, so there were small number of them left today. Then no one seemed to take interest in the mission Blaine raised his hand. "I'll do it." He calmly said and he was replied with a nod from the captain.
Going out of the headquarter seems to be a good idea as the sun's ray touched Blaine's skin by passing through the layers of clothing. The warm sensation it gave off was soothing. A soft breeze followed-up as it caressed his hair and his purple magic knight mantle, pushing them in a simultaneously. A visible pleasure for the sun and wind sensation was visible in his eyes. Then his feet marched forward, heading straight towards the large marketplace on Kikka. As anyone might have guessed it, Blaine was on a patrolling mission. The mission itself might be simple but when you look at it but there have been talks among the citizens about bandits terrorizing the vendors there. And as one of the shield of Clover Kingdom, it was his duty to protect them.
The Kikka large marketplace as the name implies, was a large area consisting of different vendors selling different things. The pavement consisted of bricks that formed a pattern, as it was expected due to it being location near the noble region. As Blaine arrived at the marketplace, he was immediately bombarded with different smells. Some were perfume scent and others were from a food stall nearby. The man in the said stall was frying something as visible from the sizziling sound as soon as Blaine approached the man. "Hey magic knight, you must be starving, come and take this for free." The man on the stall called out to him and offered his food.
"Thank you for the offer. I might have one, but I'm currently on duty today. I'll promise to be back here." Blaine politely declined with a small smile of his. "By the way, I'm just here to ask some things. Have you seen or heard any one being terrorized by bandits lately?" He asked the man. It was a part of his patrolling mission to ask around citizens to make sure that nobody has been troubling them or if they have some dilemma that a magic knight can do. "Nah, there mostly none especially today. Maybe they were driven out by other magic knights too." The man shrugged. Blaine thanked the man and moved on.
So it seemed that this part of the marketplace haven't encountered any troubles with the bandits lately and it was time to move to the next place. As usual, the place's bustling with people moving around and mixed sounds of chattering. Blaine planned to talk to one of the citizens here that was not a vendor since he was done talking to the stall owner before. Brown eyes looked around as he scanned in the area while moving forward. He stopped in none particular and cleared his throat. His eyes looked slightly up to meet the other person's eyes. "Excuse me." Blaine made sure that his soft voice was loud enough to be heard by the other person. "Can I talk to you for a minute? Have you seen or heard anyone being terrorized by bandits lately?" He followed it up assuming that the woman placed her attention on him.
SUMMARY On a patrol talking to the vendors and moved to another part of the marketplace. Attempted to talk to Genesis.

A red-haired figure lurked silently around the town of Kikka, quietly observing her surroundings as her steps turned her towards the marketplace. Recently, she has been hanging around this place often. What was it that drew her to stay in this place? Was it the town’s refined yet casual atmosphere? The short distance from the Noble Region and the Royal Palace itself? The coming ins and outs of various personalities and merchant dealings? Regardless of the reason why, this was the place where nobles and commoners alike could walk side by side on the same street and it would turn no heads.
It was there in the busy marketplace that the young woman found herself going towards. It was teeming with activity, vendors shouting their wares and people of all status chattering all around. There were numerous types of wares being displayed, everything from food to fabrics, from potions to questionable products. However, there was only one type of merchandise that she was interested in.
Blades.
Any type of blade would capture her interest. Knives, daggers, swords—they were her weakness. She could spend hours admiring and studying the craftsmanship and designs of those sharp weapons. There were many top-notch traders that came to this area, and the prospect of finding a new blade to add to her collection was enough to quicken her steps.
Today, her grey eyes took on an almost emerald shade, glowing in her anticipation in finding new weapons for her to study and possibly purchase. However, someone came into her line of sight. She was about to step back and let them pass, if they had not stopped and addressed her directly. She stiffened, and her hand hovered above Chuchote, her trusty dagger. The young woman was almost always attentive to her surroundings, and today was no exception.
It was a Magic Knight. He did not seem intimidating or unfriendly, but her stance did not relax. “You’re talking to me already,” she quipped, then looked up to meet the knight’s eyes. Her gaze was cool and guarded. The only hint of emotion on her face was a twitch on the side of her mouth, as she wondered how this Magic Knight would take to her little bon mot. She was by no means unfriendly, only incredibly guarded and at times sarcastic.
Bandits? From his words, she would assume that he was on a lookout for those troublemakers. She shook her head slowly. “No, I have not seen any—” She abruptly stopped. From the corner of her eye, she had glimpsed a man stealing wares off a vendor’s table. “Hey!” She pointed to a spot behind the knight, and her eyebrows quirked up. “I think there’s one of your bandits.”
For the moment, she held back and watched to see how the knight would respond. She was just a citizen, yes, and not bound to any obligations or duty on matters such as this. However, she would not mind a little action here and there, especially when it came to preventing crimes.
Notes & Stuff
Summary: Acknowledged Blaine, witnessed a bandit stealing, waited to see what the knight would do
Judging from the tone and the facial expression of the citizen that he was talking, this woman was trying to be sarcastic with him. Not that it mattered anyway, as she only got a small nod from the brown-haired not to be rude but to indicate that he was listening and he understood what she said. He always had his calm and placid face, never really showing emotion unless he was placed in extreme pressure and this small interaction between the two was never different. Throughout the start of his magic knight career, he could remember the other times he was patrolling around the area and he could meet people with different personalities. It was amazing how people were designed but he needs focus back on the task at hand.
Hearing that she had not been or seen troubled by the bandits, he attempted to excuse himself when she raised her voice. Blaine stopped for a second and raised his eyes, with the similar calm facial expression. She then pointed behind him and spoke something about the bandit. There was now a slight intrigue in those brown orbs of his as he slowly looked around and tried to follow where she pointed her digits. Indeed, there was a man who had his grip on the wares from the vendor's stall. The duty to protect the civilians from harm or discomfort came to his mind and adrenaline started to flow inside his system. He made a quick turn and bowed slightly at the red-haired. "Thank you." Blaine pulled his body back straight and proceed to rush towards the vendor stall.
"Hold it right there!" Blaine yelled as soon as he got close between the bandit and the vendor. "Please help me sir magic knight!" The man shouted in obvious agony. The bandit was about to grab another ware to add to his collection in his hands when he saw Blaine rushing towards him. The bandit cursed underneath his breath as a grimoire flashed out in front of him. Blaine' eyes widened in response to the summoning of grimoire. The action from the bandit could either mean between to things, to escape or retaliate. If he was to do the latter, Blaine has at least to do something. There were people around and he wouldn't want anyone to get hurt. His eyes scanned the people, his eyes locking to each one including at the red-haired woman he was talking to before, to establish connection. "Everyone evacuate from the place immediately!" He commanded, veins visible on his neck from the strain on his voice.
It seemed to have work as some people quickly dispersed from the place, vendors placing their goods and wares behind their counter and placed it in a bag. "Good." He spoke to himself as he looked back on the bandit. From all the action he had done, he gave the bandit a small headstart. He was already scurrying away from the stall. 'Not a chance.' In his thought as his familiar brown-colored grimoire flashed in front of him and instantly opened. "Teferi's protection." He whispered. In a quick swing motion, Blaine's hands passed by the grimoire and a stone tablet was drawn out from the book. It followed Blaine's hands for a while until it reached the boy's fingertips and flew straight towards the front. It grew big in size and caught up with the bandit. The stone tablet passed by the man and planted itself on the ground. The bandit was caught in surprise couldn't immediately stop the momentum from all the running he was in and his body met the enlarged stone tablet.
Blaine was still running towards the man as it happened and as he got closer. Suddenly there was a sound of hissing from the distance as a projectile cut through the air. The magic knight did not have enough reaction time to dodge or even the sight to see the projectile as it connected on his shoulders. The pain felt like a bullet had struck on him and the force was enough to make him stagger. The brown-haired made a quick look on his shoulders to see if he bled. Luckily he didn't and he could feel that bruise will form on the spot later, not that it mattered anyway.
Blaine looked at the bandit in front of him as it slowly stood, grunting along the way. Unfortunately he had some back-up and the one who attacked him made his presence known along with the another bandit. The other one was holding a shortsword but all of them had their grimoire out. "Don't mess with our business magic knight or..." The man's voice trailed and Blaine found it odd but did not show it on his face. "Or she gets it." Another spoke, this time it was from the back and when Blaine looked back there was another similarly-dressed bandit behind the red-haired woman to which he spoke before, sneaking and attempted to pounce at her back since he was near her.
"Stop!" Was all he said before he drew out another stone tablet from his grimoire. "Armored guardian." The stone tablet immediately multiplied and shrinked, attaching themselves on Blaine's body as he ran back towards the woman. It was this moment that he had to make a call. While the vendor's profit will be antagonized due to his wares being stolen but a citizen being used as a hostage to get away with the heist weighed more and he wouldn't want to let it happen. Not on his patrolling mission.
SUMMARY Unbothered by her sarcastic reply. Successfully stopped the bandit from running away using Teferi's protection. Did not react in time and was hit by an attack creation. A bandit attempted to pounce at Genesis, he will be using her as an hostage. Used Armored Guardian as he ran towards her.

It was a little surprising that the knight took no offense at her sarcastic attitude. Most would have responded in kind or worse, but it did not seem to affect him. Genesis was slightly impressed, to say at the least. Perhaps it would be worthy of her time to rile this one. Should be fun, too. It was a while since she last had some to poke at.
As the bandit made his appearance and moved into action, the atmosphere in the whole marketplace had shifted. Those of noble ranks were rushed away by their attendants, and commoners followed closely behind them. The place was tinged with fear, and it was fast becoming a panic. If the situation was not dealt with swiftly, the panic rush from the people could possibly do more damage than the bandit himself.
The knight had immediately called for evacuation. It was a good call. The townsfolk had seen the Magic Knight and were quick to obey. However, the red-haired woman did not move from her position. Arms crossed and eyes alight with interest, she waited to see what would unfold next.
The vendor had cried out for help, and the knight had immediately rushed in to the rescue. The bandit who snatched at the wares now realized that he had someone chasing him, but instead of running away, he brought out his grimoire. Gen cocked an eyebrow. Interesting. Most would have turned tail and ran, but he did not. That boldness could only be accounted to his assurance of backup.
Her guesses were confirmed when another bandit showed up at the scene. Of course, most do not work alone. There was strength in numbers, after all. She watched as the knight brought out his own grimoire and cast a spell. Judging by the stone tablets that he summoned, it seemed like he was proficient in not just cards. It had effectively stopped the thieving bandit from running away. It was definitely something she had not seen before. She was so engrossed and preoccupied with watching the scene before her, she had momentarily let her guard down.
Footsteps.
Red hair flew in an arc as she attempted to whirl around to face whoever was sneaking up on her.
Too late.
Strong arms wrapped themselves around her. Immediately the young woman leaned back abruptly, using her weight against her attacker so it would throw him off balance. One of the arms loosened, supposedly to break his fall, and gave her the space she needed to whip out the dagger from her side. Chuchote hissed as she drew it from its sheath, and it flashed in the sunlight. She twisted her body so she could now face her abductor. He was strong, needless to say, but she had the element of surprise on her side. He had been thrown off by her sudden weight, but had quickly aligned himself upright again. Upon seeing her weapon, the bandit had taken a step back, but only to pull out his grimoire.
“Ready for trouble, I see.” The red-haired woman smirked, then dashed in immediately, not giving him the time to cast a spell. She swung her dagger out, aiming to slice at the bandit. With her other hand, she would aim to punch at his midsection, hopefully knocking the air out of him. Then she would jump back to a safe distance.
Unfortunately, her swing was wide and she did not knock the bandit out as she hoped. He only growled in rage and finished uttering his spell. A copper whip formed on his free hand, and was brought sideways across her left side. She barely managed to bring her left arm down to shield her side, and took the whiplash on her lower arm.
Grey-green eyes narrowed. Guess they were not playing around, and neither should she. This time, she brought Chuchote down on the hand holding the grimoire, and it made a clean cut across the bandit’s forearm. Her sudden movement and cut was enough to startle the bandit into dropping his whip, and the young woman immediately kicked it out of range.
Wonders of wonders, another arm snaked around her waist and a shortsword was held across her throat. The shadow mage seethed at the physical contact. Nobody touched her without her permission. Nobody. She allowed herself to relax for a brief second, trying to trick her second attacker into thinking he got her. The redhead could see her first attacker grin and lower his grimoire, assuming that his companion had successfully got her in his clutches.
“Feisty, this one.” He spat at the cut across his arm. ”Maybe we can bring her to the leader and—”
With one swift motion, Genesis sank Chuchote at the second bandit’s side. A strangled cry. He lurched and the hold on her loosened. She turned around to avoid the falling blade and kneed him between the legs, then whirled back around the face the first one. She dashed in, and this time, her running momentum was enough to knock him out with a punch on the temple.
She then leapt back from the two downed bandits to where the area where she assumed the knight was standing. It was curious as to why they did not think to unarm her first. But it was her fault for not paying attention to her surroundings in the first place, otherwise she would never have been caught in the first place. Idiot. She chided to herself. More bandits were appearing, six in all, not counting the two who were injured and currently down.
“These bandits would be nasty to deal as a group.” She casually wiped her dagger on the side of her pants, cleaning the blade from its bloody filth. From what she observed earlier, the Magic Knight had used some sort of defense spell. In her battle, she had not noticed that the knight had been hit. But he did sport some type of armor now, and she glanced at it briefly. Unfortunately, she could not study it now, the bandits were regrouping. “So, what’s the plan?”
Notes & Stuff
Summary: Slightly impressed that the knight did not take offense to her sarcasm, watched him battle for a bit, knocked out two bandits, asked Blaine for plan
If he let one of those bandits to hurt just one citizen when he was capable of defending them himself, it would be a huge dismay for the magic knight. His mind raced and his eyes focused solely on the red-haired woman who was now being held by the accomplice of the bandit who stole the wares. His eyes shifted for anyone who might came after her too but he was surprised that a dagger came out of the woman's hands and swung at the man. Blaine skidded to a halt, much to his astonishment, she was able to fend herself off from them. A small smile crept on his lips as he sighed in relief, knowing that he can now focus on the other two. "Please handle them well." He spoke softly towards her and spun around to face the two other bandits.
Seeing that there comrade at the back was being dealt with the red-haired woman and that their original plan to have a hostage to scare off the magic knight was a failure. A visible tic could be found on the jaw of the bandit was a standing straight and his pulled his fingers to a fist. His muscles became taut as he stared at his grimoire before whispering something inaudible. On the other side, Blaine wasn't planning on stopping from running as he was now on full speed towards the two bandits on his front. The huge stone tablet that had stopped the first bandit earlier had dissipated and the man had stood up with the wares in his hand. Upon coming to close the gap between the two, there was the same hissing sound somewhere. It was coming in fast and when Blaine fixated his gaze towards the bandit, he could see a small circular object made of copper flying towards him.
Knowing that if he stop here and now, they will be given another chance to get away from their heist and it would waste the efforts of the red-haired woman from taking of herself so Blaine could focus on his battle. He wouldn't let that happen. Confident in the armor he donned while he was coming to the rescue earlier, he never let it dissipate unlike the stone tablet. "Strength of Vulcan." He whispered as the projectile clashed against his armor on the abdomen part and did not came through. A stone tablet was drawn out from the grimoire and immediately multiplied and shrinked, unlike last time, the stone tablets in question attached to his fist and feet. He could feel his strength being boosted from the spell. The bandit's grew big in bewilderment as his attack creation spell did not damage the magic knight. He did not even manage to at least make Blaine stop in his tracks. He was so sure that he can damage him because of what happened before but he was so wrong.
The bandit in question was now flooded with remorse as his another plan failed and he only realized he had to move when the now recovered ally tapped him back to the present. But it give Blaine enough time to get closer to them and cocked back his hand. The bandit who had his moment of overthinking reacted late and Blaine's fist boosted with stone tablets, connected at his left jaw. This knocked him towards his accomplice on the right which tried to put on his weight on the ground to stabilize his friend. They were now trying to run from Blaine but he had thought of this as he whispered "Teferi's protection." Then another stone tablet came flying out of his grimoire. It expanded and stood on their escape route. Blaine was still moving while all this happened. "We're so done!" The other bandit shouted as they saw their accomplice at the red-haired woman's side knocked out.
The shift in their attention was enough for Blaine to gain closer to them as his feet moved in a upper-diagonal direction in an attempt to roundhouse kick one of them. "You should focus on your enemy." He lectured them in a calm tone and his kick connected with the bandit, knocking the heck of it as it fell on the side against the enlarged stone tablet. The annoyance and desperation in the bandit was clear in his eyes and it started to mutter something. "He's going back for a retaliation." Blaine did not notice that his spoke his thoughts. His eyes was focused on the man before him. The brown-haired started to move again and he was not surprised when a copper chain flew towards him. In his response, the boy side-stepped but it was not enough to completely evade the attack as the chain connected with his shoulders. The stone tablet chipped from the impact and fell on the ground.
There was a slight triumph in the bandit's face and muttered for another spell but he stopped mid short as the a earthen fist connect with his chin in an uppercut movement. His mouth closed with the collision and Blaine did not stop his attacks there. As he swung his fist in a jab motion towards the man the terrified look on his eyes was enough for Blaine to be reluctant but his fist connected anyway. It knocked the bandit cold and Blaine stood there and crouched down to quickly take the wares off from his hands. He slowly moved towards the vendor's stall which was now empty thanks to his early warning and he placed the object somewhere. He moved back towards red-haired woman as she went near him.
It seemed that her spicy personality earlier was backed up with her fiery attack movements earlier. However he kept this to himself as he heard her spoke about the bandits. Blaine nodded in agreement with her and wiped off the sweat that was trickling around his forehead. The heat of the battle and the sun glaring down on them proved that his attire wasn't fit for the situation. At first he thought it would be another patrol mission but now here he was in a battlefield against an organized bandit heist. "They know that there wouldn't be many magic knights since we are all scattered around Clover so they like to overpower us with ganging up each one of us." Normally, he would have given her a short and quick answer but something opened up in him towards her. Blaine seemed to trust the stranger red-haired woman but he wouldn't want this to be obvious for the fear of he might be taken advantage of. But if she really focus much on the tone of his voice, she could hear the slight friendliness tone on it. Which was slightly different from what he used to talked to her before.
Soon, four more bandits appeared and they were all ready to hit the two of them with what all they've got. His head shifted towards her again as she spoke asking Blaine for his plan. "Unfortunately, I don't know much about your fighting style. But I'm attacking close range and defending. Let's divide them to the point where we can handle them." The bandits were coming in fast and they did not mean to let anyone of us to escape without getting beaten. The sight of their accomplices down on the ground without consciousness only fueled their rage to take both of us down. "Think you can handle to attackers at the same time?" Then without letting her put a much thought in it, Blaine leaned forward as he ran to close the gap between the group of bandits and him. His hand moved above his grimoire as another stone tablet was pulled out of it. "Teferi's protection." He whispered as it sent flying off towards the middle of the group of bandits. Upon seeing this, the bandits relaxed at first but when it started to enlarge itself, the shock on their face was enough to make him quip another small smile. Two of them moved to the right side and another two on the left side. The stone tablet stood in between them effectively separating them off.
Then Blaine clenched his fast as he prepared for another pack of punch to the bandits of the left side, hoping that the red-haired woman trusted him enough to follow his tactics and take on the right side. Now it was time for round two.
SUMMARY Buffed himself with Strength of Vulcan. Defeated 2/4 Bandits of the needed bandits to be defeated. His Armored Guardian spell was sustained but also received some damage. May break if being damaged again. Used Teferi's protection to effectively separate the bandits. Ready for round two of the fight.

Using her shoulder, Genesis wiped the sweat from her chin. She eyed the bandits and their locations, quickly assessing the situation. These bandits were more organized and well-prepared than she thought, but with a Magic Knight around, it should be no real problem. As long as she had her dagger in her hand and her shadows by her side, the young mage felt safe and ready for whatever came her way.
During her brief scene with the first two bandits, she had not really noticed what the knight was doing, nor did she catch his soft words. Back there, she had been too preoccupied with her two attackers. However, as she stood by the Purple Orca, she could see the armor and the results of his earlier spells. Stone tablets? Definitely not something people saw often. It was also quite clever how he used his defense creations not only as a type of armor, but also on the offense, whether it was attacking the bandits or blocking them from escape. Clever, indeed.
The Magic Knight had quickly dealt with the two bandits on his end, leaving four of those troublemakers who were left standing. “Mhmm...” She murmured in response to the knight’s explanation of the bandits’ appearance. “Guess they chose the wrong day to steal.” Her eyes had not left the group that was now reforming into position, but she did hear the slight shift in his tone. She did not think too much about it, though. Business came first.
She gave a quick nod at the plan he laid out. “So, two each?” A smirk tugged on the edges of her eyes and mouth. “I should be the one asking you that.” There was now a dangerous glint in her grey-green eyes, the type that showed itself only when she was in the heat of battle. There was nothing more thrilling than being in action, putting all of one’s honed skills in use.
Her fighting style? Genesis was the type to rely on her physical abilities and skills more than her spells. Her blades were her weapons of choice, inclining towards quick and clean eliminations of her targets in close combat. She herself preferred being free from armor, instead relying on her speed and ki to dash in and out for the kill. Where she lacked in physical strength, she made up in her flexibility and momentum. Of course, there were times when she needed the extra blades and additional boost. Such as now.
Her grimoire fluttered open for the first time since the fight. Couteaux. From her own shadows, she formed it into a knife, so now she was doubly armed with Chuchote on her right and her shadow blade on her left. Another page fluttered. Accélérer. Nearby shadows flew to her, wrapping themselves around her legs and giving her a temporary speed boost.
Immediately the red-haired mage flew into action, running towards the bandits on the right side. The knight had caused the group to be divided using one of his spells, nicely splitting them in half. Picking them off one by one was certainly easier than the group as a whole. The two bandits had not expected her to rush headlong into them, but their running speed did not lessen. Neither did hers. One of them had summoned a javelin, and the other had a coil of chains at hand. Both were of the copper element.
Right before the supposed collision, Genesis veered to the right, hoping to draw the two further away from the other two in their group. Thankfully, they followed her, intent on taking her down. She needed some space, and being too close to the other two bandits on the other side would possibly still enable them to continue working together, defeating the purpose of the knight’s original plan for division.
Two pairs of footsteps catching up to her. Bien. Good. Now that she had drawn them away, the shadow mage could finally deal with them. It was a good thing that most of the vendors had cleared their tables of wares and had exited the area. The fewer people that were involved, the better. She had taken off running towards the deserted area, dodging between a couple stalls. She was trying to separate the two, as she knew she had no chance against both of them working together. Especially when they had long ranged weapons. Divide and conquer. That was her strategy.
"Where did she go?"
"I think she went over there!"
"Corner her!"
I can hear you two, you know. She was tempted to say, but held it back. Now she heard only one pair of footsteps. She would venture to guess that one of them was running ahead while one continued driving her forward to his companion. Sweat had formed on her forehead and was sliding down her face, but she paid them no mind.
There! She saw an opening and took it, veering sharply to the left and ducking into a stall. Her back against its side, she tried to calm her haggard breathing. As soon as the running footsteps came closer, she stuck a leg out, tripping her pursuer. The guy started to fall forward just as Gen stepped out. It was the javelin wielder. She caught hold of his javelin and forcibly tore it from his hands. Then, using the other end, swung and butted it against the bandit’s temple, knocking him out. As long as they did not lay a finger on her person, she did not mind them keeping their blood inside their bodies.
One more. Where did they go? She left the unconscious man lying there, quickly slinking away to another position. In her area, everything seemed quiet and still. Unsettlingly still. She peeked around the stalls, eyes darting here and there. It was like playing hide and seek all over again. Only this time, there were risks involved. The red-haired mage held her breath, stealthy creeping from stall to stall, trying to find the last bandit. Her eyebrows were furrowed.
Where did the last one go?

It was still in the middle of the day yet to Blaine it felt like many hours had passed since he beaten up two bandits before. Sweat made their appearance back on his forehead which in response he quickly wiped it off. However the dirt that clung to his gloves, smeared at his forehead creating a visible brownish smudge that looked like someone had done a horizontal stroke with a brush. At least though that the sweat were gone for now. The brown-haired had now sported a haggard face from all the physical movements he had done. However Blaine couldn't even seem to focus on how his face looks right now as his main attention was on the two bandits before him and how he could deal with them.
He was inhaling deep and exhaled greatly as his breathe became labored. Aside from the physical movements, the slowly depleting mana inside his body has taken its toll on him. He could feel that his mana reserve inside him had became a few and he still needs to access it for this yet another fight. By his feeling of himself and his magic that surrounded him, the spell that created the armor before was slowly wearing out from the attacks before. If he doesn't do anything to alleviate this problem, he could seriously face the consequences of getting hurt and he still needs to be of full health for there may be another set of bandits that will help their comrades. After all, by the looks of the situation right now, they seem to be moving under a leader of some sort. He was one of the one referred to as the "shields" of Clover after all.
His plan to put some division between the four bandits that showed up to the rescue of their allies had been successful and the red-haired woman that he recently just made a temporary alliance with had moved towards the right side of the division. The figure of her dashing towards the criminals came into his view and as if upon instinct his eyes followed suit. She was coming in fast, much faster than he was and he could see dark almost solid object on her hand that formed a sword and another one seemed to wrap around her legs. 'Was it a shadow?' He thought taking mental note on what he saw and snapped his head back to where those bandits stood. However to his surprise they weren't exactly where the stood now as they were starting to move towards him a projectile, a weapon of some sort came flying towards him.
Blaine mentally cursed as he saw that he let himself be open for attack from the ones he was facing with. He made a mental note to become more focused on his battle but it wouldn't hurt to at least learn something about his temporary ally if they ever cross their paths together and this time as enemies. She would be a really tough opponent to beat due to her speed in which Blaine lacked so much. He needs to work on this after the mission. Then wiping all of the thoughts off and his focus came back. Instinctively, his legs moved as fast as he could and attempted to side-step the incoming projectile. Much to his dismay, the distance with him and the projectile as well as the speed he was moving was not enough to make him dodge it. Only a miracle will be able to grant him this and the projectile clashed at his torso which was protected with the stone armor.
A cracking sound would be heard as the projectile successfully connected with the armor. It didn't even stop there as it managed to hit his Purple Orca mantle which was enough to damage his body. The armor had absorbed most of the force from the projectile that when it reached Blaine's body he was pushed back a little bit. He could still feel the impact on his torso like as if still was there, he could already feel his body bruising. Then there was a growing throbbing sensation around where the projectile had landed on his body. The crack that was made from the collision was enough to have small cracks scatter around the stone armor. Blaine slowly recovered from the push and as he do so, the armor crumbled like ancient stone palaces after being struck by cannons. He felt himself vulnerable at that moment.
"We got him." One of the bandit spoke upon seeing that Blaine's stone armor was gone now meaning that they can definitely deal more damage at him. Upon seeing that brown-haired male was currently recovering from the unexpected attack, they took this as an opportunity to knock the magic knight unconscious - they continued on with their attack. Pages on their grimoire flipped simultaneously as they looked for spells. Then their grimoire glowed bright and they had their weapons with them. The one who threw the projectile now has a hammer on his hand while the other one had a scimitar. The hammer wielder threw the hammer as if it was a boomerang, flying straight towards Blaine while the one with the scimitar dashed forward and raised his hand in an attempt to swing at Blaine when coming in close.
Blaine snapped out of his vulnerable moment as quickly as he could, he could not afford to let them hurt him again. His soft and calm eyes now held a serious look. His grimoire glowed and a stone tablet came out. "Teferi's protection." His mouth breathed as the stone tablet flew and expanded in front of Blaine and stood nearing the melee bandit. The copper hammer struck the expanded stone tablet which stopped its movement and fell on the ground. While the bandit holding the scimitar simply stopped his movements as he saw stone tablet coming. Meanwhile on the Blaine's side, the boy was planning to make an element of surprise and the stone tablet was enough to hide what his true intentions were.
His feet was moving like the wind as he rushed forward. His fists and feet were still covered with multiple stone tablets that shrunk to coat around perfectly. Then he heard the hammer colliding with the stone tablet. 'Ranged one done.' He thought. His mind was racing now and he was glad that his adrenaline was still here to back it up. Blaine guessed that the one with the scimitar might have stopped from dashing forward due to the fear of hurting himself against the wall-like stone tablet. Then as if on cue, the stone tablet dissipated. The curtain has drawn and Blaine was revealed with his fist already travelling forward. The bandit on the other hand, seemed to not comprehend what just happened due to the quick turn of events and was left open for the fist to connect with his chin. The force was enough to send him flying and drop on the ground. A groan was heard from him. The ranged combatant bandit was surprised by what happened and quickly rushed towards his comrade. However Blaine still kept moving and he had gotten near the scimitar-wielding bandit and swung his feet in an attempt for a roundhouse when he tried recover from the fall.
The kick connected and he was knocked out cold, making his grimoire to disappear and the scimitar dissipate. This left the bandit with no other choice but to summon yet another hammer in his hand and threw it at Blaine who was now moving towards him. The aim was rather off due to the panic he was having from seeing Blaine wasting no time to run to him. Blaine managed to dodge the attack by a hair. Then the bandit turned tail, disregarding whether or not his attack creation hit Blaine or not. "They never said it was this hard." Well somebody seemed to not get the memo as he complained along the way. The brown-haired knight was not surprised at this point as these criminals tend to be selfish, often times preserving themselves when they feel like their allies can't move. A trait that Blaine would never have.
Grimoire glowed bright and a stone tablet came out along with a whisper, "Teferi's protection." The stone tablet flew and enlarged. The speed of the spell was enough to at least catch up with the bandit and when it stopped there, Blaine had a moment of deja vu. The bandit skidded to a stop but the force was enough to push him towards the stone tablet. However the collision wasn't that too strong much to Blaine's dismay but it was enough for him halt his movement. For the bandit it was a tough call and he summoned up a hammer from his grimoire. He spun around to look see where Blaine was but his eyes went wide when he realized that magic knight was too close at him. Blaine had already readied his fist for a punch and this time it hit the bandits gut. In response the bandit curled up in pain with trembling hands gripping the hammer weakly. "Sto--" Was all he ever said before he was knocked out when another fist hit the side of his face.
He was finally done with those two bandits and when the adrenaline slowly flushed out from the system. Blaine realized that he needed oxygen so much as he was practically breathing fast. The sensation of the pains from the damage inflicted upon him doubled. His eyes blinked for a few seconds and wincing in pain. He wanted to stop, he wanted to have a good rest today but he was not sure whether all of the bandits in the area were dealt with. A realization struck him and his head spun towards the right side of him, eyes searching for someone. The bandits and the red-haired woman seem to have disappeared but to where? He didn't fully see where they went back then because the bandits took this as an opening before which got his armor shattered. 'Where is she? I hope she wasn't harmed or something.' He thought and slowly moved towards where she could've gone off to. He wouldn't rest until he was sure that it was all okay and this encompasses the safety of the new found ally also, even if Blaine felt that she can handle herself well.

Where is the last bandit? Genesis squinted against the sun’s harsh rays. It was in the middle of the afternoon, and the heat was oppressive. She wiped the sweat from her forehead, then shaded her eyes. She had been creeping around from stall to stall, careful to keep her footsteps silent. However, there was no sign of the fourth bandit, until...
Schwack! A coil of copper chains suddenly wrapped around her wrist, knocking Chuchote out of her right hand. Her dagger clattered down to the dusty ground. Another one wrapped itself around her other arm, and she violently pulled against it. “Ah!” Grey-green eyes darted upwards to behold a figure standing on the top of the stall. Of course.
“Merde.” She muttered, cursing her oversight. She was such an idiot, she should have also thought to look up. The young woman struggled against the chains that bound both of her arms, then realized it was fruitless. She was caught, like a puppet that would dance to the tune of its controller.
"No need to be rude, hon." The gruff voice chuckled from above her head.
The shadow mage gritted her teeth. She was not going to answer that. There was no time for conversation. She had to find a way out. The chains were too strong for her to cut through, and Chuchote was out of hand’s reach. What could she do?
With a sudden lunge, the redhead aimed to pull the chain user down from his lofty position, and also reaching for her dagger at the same time. Her right hand snatched Chuchote up again, and she whirled around to face the copper chain mage, eyes ablaze. Her abrupt motion had caught the bandit off guard, and he was pulled down from the top of the stall. However, he easily landed on his feet.
"Come, come," he tightened the hold on his chains and pulled her closer. "I just want to play with you, sweetie."
“Shut up,” she spat. Her feet were kicking up dust, attempting to pull away from the man. However, he was much stronger and more burly compared to the lithe woman, and she was being dragged helplessly towards him. He whipped the chains in a circular motion, throwing her off balance as he continued dragging her in. He was too strong. She could not break free.
Then, right before she would crash headfirst into his waiting arms, Genesis twisted around so she would crash with her back to the man’s chest. His arms immediately enveloped her, and the physical contact made her seethe in cold rage. She sank her shadow blade into the body behind her, into the man’s side. He howled in pain, but surprisingly, his arm grip did not lessen. Instead, it only tightened, and the chains wrapped itself around her and her abductor.
The redhead snapped her head back, aiming to headbutt him. Unfortunately, he was much taller than her, and her head only knocked against his chin. She growled in vexation and fury. Adrenaline pulsed through her, and the tension snapped. Throwing her weight back, the momentum was enough to bring both of them down to the ground, face up. The arms loosened, and she struggled against the chains that held them together at the waist.
No luck. She had no real physical strength to boost of, but she did have her flexibility. With her arms now freed, she had more space to move. In desperation, she flipped her dagger back and used the butt of the weapon to hit the man’s head, knocking him out.
She was free. Finally.
Immediately she was back up on her feet. “Nobody touches me without my permission,” she growled, eyes burning. “Nobody.” She wiped her blade on her pants before sliding it back in its sheath by her side. She could always summon more shadow knives, but not her dagger.
Just around that time, she glanced up to see the Magic Knight coming towards her. She was panting from the run and scuffle, and her crimson hair stuck to the side of her sweaty face. It seemed like he had finished dealing with the bandits on his side. “Nasty bunch,” she commented, still catching her breath. Then she extended a sweaty hand out to the knight.
“Gen.”

Thirsty, need of rest and hungry. These feelings appeared inside Blaine's mind as he limped his way towards the path that he felt the red-haired woman was there. His hand clutched to his side as he cradled himself. The Strength of Vulcan spell dissipated as the stone tablet that once coated his fist and feet disappeared. Then he was left with the lingering feeling that he was still had the spell on. Not that the small stone tablets around him were heavy - they even felt like it was a part of him - but the feel of the rough texture was what he felt all the time. It might have been to be expected since he had the spell on him most of the time due to the combat that he was in.
Blaine was slow-paced but he finally reached the area. Eyes darting around, looking at each stall. 'No sign of her.' He thought and slowly moved forward, making it sure that his movement to be slow. The part where the attackers hit him still ached but it wasn't anything that he could handle. However all of his pains inside wasn't on his focus now as he kept on and stopped when he saw the fast movements. It was happening at a distance farther than him thus he couldn't see well who was it. He moved a little faster know. The figures he saw slowly growing to the original height and he saw man lying on the ground, probably unconscious. Then the one left standing was the red-haired woman.
He was swept with relief upon seeing this, as visible with his stance going a little bit soft. He was slowly becoming unguarded once but then he reigned back his control over himself. His eyes turned the usual calmness and his stance became alert. Blaine heard her speak about the bandits. He nodded in response and spoke back to her. "They were tenacious." The brown-haired at least commended most of the bandits on their effort to fight till the end even others ran away.
It now seemed that she was done with the fighting as she has her weapons back to where they belonged and the shadows that once wrapped around her legs were now absent. He felt that the fight between the bandits were done and he could finally go back to his home and get some rest. Both of them were panting and the exhaustion was visible between them. The red-haired woman then extended her hand and along with the introduction of her name. Blaine first looked at the hand in shock and calmly connected his hand with her. He clutched the hand softly and shook it. "Blaine." His calm tone was visible in his words and slowly let go of the hand. At that moment, Blaine really feel that he had made a connection towards Gen. That she was somewhat a friend rather than an acquaintance and that he could trust that she'll have his back. However it was still too far from breaking up his walls that he'd built ever since he was young.
"Would you like me to escort you back to the market? I have somethings to do there." He casually said and slowly moved towards her. Though his offer might be declined to his limping condition but he felt that it was one of his duties as a magic knight. Then with or without Gen accepting his offer, Blaine will move back to the marketplace where the fight had occurred. He looked down on the ground and made his way towards the center. "Everyone it's okay now, we've handled the problem." He said out-loud making sure that there was reassurance in his voice. Slowly people walked out from the closed buildings and some came out from the alleyways. Vendors slowly settled back their stalls. Blaine moved towards the one who had his wares antagonized.
"I hope there wasn't any scratch on them."
"Chin up knight! Thank you for saving me."
"It wasn't just me but I had help."
Then Blaine gestured to Gen if she ever was still present in the marketplace. The vendor also expressed thanks to the fiery woman and when magic knight that he was settled he slowly turned towards the direction of the squad building. "This will be a goodbye then. Thank you for the help." Blaine spoke in a calm tone and bowed slightly at her. After then, he slowly made his way towards the Purple Orca headquarter. With his heart light from the experience of having someone to at least rely on protecting his back. He'll be really hungry once he arrives at his home but right now, Blaine will have to have a deep sleep.
Exit!

Blaine, was it? “I guess this is the part where I’m supposed to say ‘nice to meet you’.” A mischievous light shone in her grey-green eyes. “But I’d say that only if there’s more bandits to fight next time.” The beginnings of a smirk were on her ruby lips, but she angled her face away so the knight would not be able to see whether it developed or not.
At his gentlemanly offer, the red-haired woman shook her head. “An escort would not be necessary,” she declined politely. “Though I would not mind company.” She followed the Magic Knight back towards the marketplace, where the hustling and bustling atmosphere had pretty much gone back to normalcy. It was almost as if nothing had happened.
At the vendor’s expression of thanks, she dipped her head once in acknowledgment, but said nothing. She was a mere civilian just like everyone else, and did not mind whether she received recognition or not. Indeed, if the bandits had not targeted her directly, she would probably have stayed by the sidelines and watched the whole show. But she did not mind the exercise, and it felt good putting her skills in actual combat.
As the knight said his farewells, Genesis followed suit. “Au revoir.” She said, feeling like she just gained an ally. Then she remembered the main reason why she was here. Without another moment of hesitation, the shadow mage slipped into the marketplace, spending the rest of her afternoon pouring over any shiny weapons that caught her eye.

Hi there, I'm going to have to deny this for now as there are a few issues.
- When your tracker says "Casting Limit is the number of spells you can cast per post. It is Stamina added to control divided by 20, rounded UP. OR CL = (Stamina + Control) / 20" that is how many spells you can have active maximum per round, this means at current Blaine can only have two spells active at any one time.
- You are unable to double cast a spell. In this case, Blaine has cast Teferi's protection twice when it shouldn't be possible.
- As a side note, if you haven't stated a spell has ended it will likely be deemed that it has been sustained unless it is a single round spell.
- I noticed with Blaine's template in the first round under it says 5/10 for the regen and for the rest of the thread it says 10/15 due to a perk they have. This perk is passive and is instantly in effect from the moment it has been taken. Due to this it should have been 10/15 from the first post and doesn't need to be noted under your perks section.
When these issues have been resolved please feel free to put this up again and we can have a look as soon as humanly possible.
