[attr="class","textie"]One step at a time he was making his way back to the Noble Region, back to where the Royal Capital was. All of the information he had been gathering on his way back was helping him piece things together. He had to get back as soon as possible, and speak to Zaven, and hope that things hadn't changed the man that he considered his brother to much. Once he had made sure of that he would begin the search for his mother, and Alphonse. He needed to make sure that they were both okay, and that didn't even count on his mission to restore Abraxas, or find a way to reach him where ever he had gone. He refused to believe that the stubborn little spirit had completely departed. No there was a piece of him still around, and Vulkan would restore him back, and they would never be apart again.
His mind was alight with ideas, and he hated the fact that he didn't have some form of transport magic to make his trip back to the Golden Dawn base easier. Perhaps that would be something he would remedy later on, after all with his prowess it would be a simple matter to learn something new. Absently he entered the city of Kikka his last stop on the road back to the Capital. There was another squad of Knights here that he wanted to talk to. He had met with one of the Azure Deer in the last city he had been in, and here he knew that the Purple Orca's rested. And he wanted to talk with them about the state of the Kingdom, all things considered he figured they would be able to help him fill in the blanks even further. Right now his sole mission was to learn as much about this world as possible, and compare the notes with what he knew previously.
So with his tattered clothes, and tattered Golden Dawn robe he walked the straights right up to the Purple Orca's base. Vulkan looked as if he had just gotten back from a particularly brutal war, or at least his clothes had, the man himself was the image of health. His features were sharp like a sword, but delicate almost beautiful to some. His teal eyes contained slitted pupils reminiscent of a reptile, or dragon. His ears hidden underneath his long silvery hair, were tapered to sharp points. Vulkan didn't know the reason for his new appearance, but he assumed it was a result of Abraxas saving him. One final gift from the little spirit before he departed...Approaching the gates to the base he looked at the guards there.
"Is there anyone around that I could speak to? I don't care whom...I just need to ask a few questions before I go on my way back to my own base." he asked the two of them. They didn't answer him, instead whispering amongst themselves for a few minutes before nodding at him, and then one of them darted off inside presumably to get someone to deal with him.
[attr="class","lillytext"] It had been a quite few days since she had woken back up from her comma. Well the first day was busy as one would expect there was a lot of questions asked of her mainly in regards to what she remembered and while there was a lot she remembered there was also quite a bit she didn't. She had so far spent most of her time keeping to herself and if she did talk to anyone it was usually the captain as he was the only one she truly trusted at the moment. However today she had a different plan which was physical training. Lillith managed to some how keep her muscle mass for the most part she wasn't sure how but it meant that training couldn't be that hard right? The gemstone mage would soon find out that wasn't the case as her basic workout took an extra hour longer than it should have. It was mainly from the fact that her body wasn't use to this much physical activity as of late which would change as time went on and it readjusted to her life as a magic knight. Lilly would of course practice with her daggers as well for a bit. [break][break] It took her a while to get use to them making the sound of a harp when she twirled them. Once the noble was done training she would head back to her room taking a shower before changing into her normal outfit attaching the daggers to her side before putting on her mantle. She was making her way out of her room heading to the main hangout area to relax and maybe read up more on stuff she missed while she was gone. However as she was rounding the corner her sensory would pick up on another mage running full speed who she barley managed to dodge. Hey watch where your going you could have hurt someone. The man would take a few moments to speak before telling Lillith about the golden dawn mage just outside. Lilly would then make her way to this golden dawn mage her sensory would let her know he was strong way stronger than she was at current which made her wonder why he was here. [break][break] As she came into view of the mage his clothing looked like it had seen better days but he looked fine over all. While she had never met the mage before he looked like one of the mages from the golden trio which while she never met any of them she had read about them as of late. She of course could recall all of there names there was the current captain of the golden dawn Zaven Blake. There was also one named Sylvester and lastly Vulkan which this mage in front of her looked like but she wasn't one to assume a persons name. It's nice to meet you I'm Lillith Stone. I heard you have some questions you want to ask? Perhaps it would be better to start off with your name first?

[attr="class","textie"]The woman that was brought before him seemed competent enough, as she introduced herself first before asking his name, and his teal eyes looked her over with slitted pupils. Red hair, it almost amused him how often he met people with red hair though none of that would show on his face. What little joys he found in life were gone for the moment as he thought for a moment. If they brought this girl here she was either a fairly high ranking night, or perhaps someone within reach of becoming Vice Captain. He remembered the old Purple Orca captain, a man who used Diamond Magic to summon constructs that were nigh unbreakable...This girl...Lillith Stone was unfamiliar to him, but he wanted knowledge, and she seemed as if she was willing to give it to him.
"I am Vulkan..." came the soft, dispassionate reply to her as he looked around at his surroundings seemingly lost in thought. "You were told correct...I need some things answered..." his tone was still soft, slow, and measured as he spoke to her. "What happened to the world...What did the Daemon do..." he asked her quite seriously. He had become well aware of the fact that this was common knowledge to the people to a certain extent. Everyone seemed to have some grasp on what this event was, the distortion that changed everything.
His sentences were short, to the point as if he didn't want to have to talk more than necessary. He wasn't there to mince words, perhaps at one time he would have, but he was a man on a mission at the moment. Things had changed for the Volcanic Knight, there were things he had to do, and achieve in order to keep a promise he made to someone important to him. First however he had to find them, and in order to do that he needed to know more details than what he had. It didn't matter to him if people thought he was an idiot for asking questions that many would find simple. Running his fingers through his long silvery hair being careful that he didn't reveal his ears to her. He didn't know how others would react to his ears in this strange new place. Though even before the distortion he didn't think that people would react well to them.
"Things are different than I remember..." he barely elaborated to the girl, though he wasn't intending to be rude, it was just how he was now. Folding his arms across his chest, causing that tattered Golden Dawn robe to ruffle for a brief moment before it settled back to place. Anything that she could tell him would be helpful, and so he was going to hang on to her every word.
The way he was still almost like a statue might be unnerving to some, but he was just simply waiting for an answer to his very short questions. Keeping his teal eyes trained upon her face all the while as if committing her to memory, he was a stranger in a strange land after all.
[attr="class","lillytext"] It seemed the man she thought the mage looked like was in fact Vulkan as he confirmed himself. The white haired mage didn't give a last name which wasn't to important. However Lillith wondered just what kind of questions he wanted to ask. It looked like he'd just gotten back from one hell of a mission or fight based on the state of his outfit. The gemstone mage was pretty sure it wasn't just to use the spatial mage after all we if that was the case he would have already been on his way. No it seemed he wanted to know about what happened with the deamon and the world as a whole. Well that's sure is some question. It seems you know less than I did when I first woke back up. [break][break] She would pause for a moment as the man spoke about remembering this differently. Did he truly not know anything about what happened. She was no expert on what happened nor was she a sage on how time magic could effect things as a whole. You'll want to follow me inside and sit down I'll tell you everything I know but it will most likely lead to more questions. Assuming Vulkan was fine with that Lillith would lead him inside the base and to the lounge motioning for him to sit on the sofa. She would then take her own seat in a chair across from him. The two mages of course weren't alone and there was some whispers among the lower ranked mages that Lilly would silence before getting them all to leave the room. [break][break] So the problems with the daemons all started about a year after the war with diamond. It started off with magic knights and citizens alike running into corrupt mana beast from what I've been told. The magic knights were sent to investigate what was causing these problems as it seemed at the same time people were awakening bloodlines long thought lost to us. Dwarfs,Elves witches of course not everyone had bloodlines awakened like myself for example I'm still human. The gemstone mage would pause for a moment letting the golden dawn mage take in what was just said and ask any questions before she spoke again. It didn't seem like the invitations were going to well as we didn't really find any answers. However not long after the daemons would play there first hand attacking three towns in the forsaken region. [break][break] The towns were saved by Silas,Ardere and Lilly among some other lesser known mages. That was the first time the kingdom came face to face with deamons we won and things were quite until they weren't. Lilly would once again pause taking a deep breather before speaking again. About eight months ago now was when the event everyone called the shattering which is what I think you are asking about is called. It started with strange mana coming from the witches forest. The witch queen herself had opened the forest back up asking clover to help with the deamon threat against the forest. That's when the forgotten tower was found. I'm not an expert on how areas effect mana differently but this place was strongly linked with the natural mana of the world. One of the archdeamons know as Asmodeus was using it to boost his time magic for something what it was I'm not sure. Anyway the wizard king found out about this and launched an attack on the tower to stop the deamon. [break][break] The main players in this fight was your captain Zaven, The crimson lion captain Ardere,Silas who was now the captain of the coral peacocks and the ex black bulls captain Wolfe. However things didn't work exactly as planned and while the wizard king managed to stop the full effect of the spell Silas and Wolfe both gave there life to save the kingdom. However that time daemon manged to shattered part of space and time. Which effected everyone differently some were effected at all others were. For example when the event happened it put me into a comma until a few weeks ago.

[attr="class","textie"]The woman explained to him that he was going to want to sit down for what she was going to explain to him, and that told him a few things already. That whatever he was about to learn was going to be fairly heavy, and so he followed her inside to the base, to what appeared to be a lounge area. When she motioned for him to sit, he waited for her to sit first observing his surroundings for a reason that was only known to him, and then he sat down. She had explained to him that he was only going to have more questions, but he doubted that as long as he got the bigger part of the story that he was missing that would be enough. Vulkan didn't need all the details just enough to understand why the world had changed the way it had. Getting as comfortable as he could leaning back with his arms folded across his chest.
The first thing she explained to him gave him an immediate time frame of how long he had been gone. At least a year, since he went off to train right after they had stopped the Diamond Invasion. So a whole year had passed, that explained a few things to him, why his home in Kiten seemed abandoned like no one lived in it anymore. The second thing she told him explained his appearance sort of...He had gained this appearance after leaving Cephoh's Gate, and after Abraxas had sacrificed himself to protect him. Though he would find a way to regain his spirit. That was when she explained to him what the Shattering was. It was an apt name for the distortion that he felt when he came out of Cephoh's, considering the state of the world.
He hung on to every word that she said to him, and the mention of Silas, and Wolfe both giving their lives at this so called Forgotten Tower, he bowed his head in respect to them. A simple gesture, but there was nothing more he could do that hadn't already been done more than likely. He hadn't known either of them a great deal personally, but he knew of them as their reputations did precede them to a degree. Silas was the one who finished off a mysteriously resurrected Tetsuya after Zaven, and Vulkan had put the mage down the first time. How he came back was still beyond him, but stupid evil knew no bounds, or that was what he believed. At the end of her tale where the Daemon seemingly claimed victory as he managed to warp time, and space to his whim despite the best efforts of everyone involved, and changed the world forever, he just let out a soft "Hmmmm" noise.
"I see...So this creature...This Daemon I keep hearing about, managed to essentially fight off four captains, and the Wizard King all at once...And still claim a sort of victory." his slitted eyes looked up at the ceiling, and he thought for a moment. "That is troublesome...I am going to have to become much stronger..." he stated in his listless tone, and then in a quiet whisper. "I need to be complete..." though whether she heard that last part or not he wouldn't know.
He had a lot to think about now, but what Lillith had just give him was essentially what he needed to know, and for that he was grateful to her.
"Is the Daemon you speak of...Is he the only one, or are there others?" came the calm, and deliberate words.
