[attr="class","lillytext"] Lillith would watch as three traps got set off one after another. The gemstone mage wasn't even able to sense them with her sensory so she could understand why the others didn't know about them as well. After all as far as she knew non of them could see past her illusion as no one bothered to tell her if they could. Which meant as far as the crimson haired purple orca knew she had the most sensory skill in the team. Luckily for everyone in the team the traps didn't really deal any damage as far as she was able to tell it was more so just a welcome message. The golden dawn captain would then start giving orders having them split into three groups giving Lillith the two citizens. The gemstone mage was confused on why they were splitting up. [break][break] That was until her own sensory picked up on the mana beast heading there way. It seemed the golden dawn captains sensory might have been better than hers but still as far as she knew no one could see past her illusion so in order to keep in touch with everyone in the team she would leave each mirror up which was one for each mage with her. She would then head left towards the ruins Verena would waste no time summoning a golem one that Lilly was pretty sure she had seen use back in the dungeon they did together. She was able to hear the order the women gave her golem as well as the man telling that he really didn't have an offensive spells. Lydia would speak up in there heads as they weren't able to hear her actually speak. Verena have the golem move further up and if you can make another one of the same golem use that as back line defense. Sol when they engage with the golem weaken or restrain some of them. Just don't use any spells that will effect the whole area as I'll be caught in the spell as well. [break][break] Lydia would pause for a moment using her sensory to make sure there were no traps up ahead before moving five meters ahead of the other two taking cover behind a half broken wall. When the mana beast start fighting the golem that's when I'll engage them as well ideally just like the two of you most if not all of the mana beast won't be able to see me making it easy for us to take them out. Just be prepared to having to deal with some up close as some of them will more than likely make it past me. The plan was simple and easy to carry out that being said the three mages had no idea how strong the mana beast were so there was no telling the plan would work prefect in all honestly the gemstone mage wasn't counting on it.

Sven watched silently from his position, his presence hidden from the very shadows that engulfed the once tactical defensive position of the kingdom of Clover that he had claimed dominion over. Unlike his two siblings, he was far from stupid and had always played the long game, that is why he had succeeded and while they had perished. He took pride in his tactical mind and knew the moment that the former green mantis vice-captain had fallen that stronger enemies would come, that very thought made the shadow daemon giddy. He, however, knew better than to get ahead of himself and so done his due diligence and got information from those who now served him in his dominion on who the strongest mages were, of the magic knight squads and of the nobility from this he had sent his children forth to gather information on their possible enemies. Their weaknesses, their strengths, their fears, their joys and sadnesses he wanted to know it all and so the twin daemons dug into the pasts of those who might end up being sent to them. He was quite happy with the information they had found out if not a little bothered that had taken them longer than he would have liked but he realised some of this information would have been harder to get than others nobles didn't like having all their business on the streets and magic knight squads were hard to infiltrate even for a short time as they didn't know if someone would be able to see through their illusions and transformations.
He tilted his head as he looked over the shadow of dawn interlocking his fingers before placing his chin on them "A hidden monster that walks in the daylight pretending to be something more than he is." he whispered before his eyes going to the flame of courage "A flame that can wipe out most darkness but has a shadowed past thanks to his parents." His head then tilted up towards the sky "A glass mage that is strong as the light of hope but still has cracks from her past." he said his eyes shifting to the other group "A mage who's defensive is as strong as the element he holds but holds shame for his loss." he continued "A loose cannon in regards to control, he lost part of himself that he hasn't been able to regain yet." he couldn't help but chuckle "Ah, the trickster Blake... that one is going to be interesting." he said his eyes going back to the two standing behind him "Is everything prepared?" he asked the twins who instantly took a knee "Yes my lord." Ito said obediently without a single thought as if this was all-natural to him "It would seem three of the former group have decided they wish to regain their own honour." Lilitu said with a soft tone informing her lord, she did know he would already know this but still she knew she should show they also knew. "Well. Aren't they tenacious..." he said with a chuckle standing up turning to look at his two children "It is a wonderful thing to see people attempting to regain something they have lost." he said though walked up and down a little almost deep in thought as he was calculating things "Do not kill those three, break them." he ordered making the two look-up to Sven in surprise at the order "Don't dare question me." he growled making them look down "We dare not." they said in unison "We hear and obey." their voices stoic and showing complete obedience to the one that held their own lives in his hand "Good, now go and deal with your task. Keep me informed of the goings-on." he said flicking his hands in a dismissive way, without hesitation the rose and walked to the shadows using it to move to deal with their own tasks.
It had seemed by the time that he turned his attention back that the shadow of dawn had given out orders to the others to the group completely ignoring the question of what seemed to be their communication mage. It seemed that their wizard king was smart sending one with each group he suspected so they could keep in touch with each other and to the one playing overwatch for them. He knew the man was no fool nor was his advisor from what his intelligence had told him so he had made preparations of his own to deal with what could be coming his way he knew he couldn't prevent all outcomes but he could anticipate and counter. He had set this group up first because he wanted to see their fighting capabilities first hand and plan from that. From what it had seemed they couldn't even follow the basic orders of their own leaders, this was the incompetence that had the kingdom lose Kikka in the first place. He did, however, find it interesting that this group didn't even bother to introduce themselves to each other, he could understand some of them were of more renown than others but the other group had completely introduced themselves right down to their squad and element of magic it was clear to the arch-daemon that the two groups would work completely differently and one would definitely be stronger and he couldn't say that this one would be the strong one regardless of their raw strength. The one barking orders in the shadow of dawn's ear alone would be heard Sven's voice "The shadows hear everything and are willing to give you that power all you need to do is take it." his tone calm almost inviting him to join the shadows in their conquest. He knew the man wouldn't give in but then no one but the original three knew his voice so that worked in his benefit.
He listened to the captain of the crimson lions and had to question if he was always so pessimistic about such things, he had no intention killing them... well not until he got bored at least but then he would spare those he found useful and would bend a knee. This captain he knew there was no chance of that but still he was going to have his fun but right now was far too soon for something like that to happen, the stage wasn't set for him to enter his own personal hell. He wanted to do it now but he knew that the anticipation would be worth it in the end so calmed his excitement for now. In his ear, he would ear the whispers, chants and rites of prayers from his past they would seem so quiet that it would be easy to have missed them but sometimes even the quietest whispers could be as loud as a scream it all came down to whom it was aimed at and what the whispers were saying. After a long few seconds however the whispers would stop, it would be so easy to put it down to the tension of the situation and that was what he was hoping for when it came to the flame of courage. If he broke so easily then he wasn't the man that he believed him to be. Hearing the Crimson Lion's words he chuckled inwardly and within his ear, all he would hear is "Are you sure about that Firrh?" he'd ask with the same whispers from before heard behind his words.
The next thing that caught his eye was a timid girl, he could tell that she had the potential to be strong but something was holding her back until she faced that she would be doomed to become nothing but ash at the end of the day. When she had created her golems he watched with intrigue as he was curious about what they could do. He could tell that she was nowhere near her potential but that didn't mean that she couldn't be of use to this group, it all came down to how her spells were formed so he would be keeping a close eye on her throughout this encounter. He had to admit the order she gave was interesting but it wouldn't do very much against the hoard of mana beasts heading towards the seven of them right now. The mana beasts had already broken the perimeter by the time. It would seem like she wasn't the only one not wearing a mantle his ruby coloured eyes moved to the other now inspecting him. It was on hearing his words he couldn't help but smile "A man after my own heart." he commented more to myself than anyone else, there were too many meatheads in his opinion that just wanted to walk in and hit things. He didn't understand what satisfaction they got for going right in for the kill when toying with one's pray made the eventual kill or breaking them into submission. It seemed he would need to keep his eyes on the child of taboo as well, it seemed like an odd group indeed but it would be all the more fun due to these wild cards that was for sure.
Then there was the red-headed bombshell of a mage, the once upon a time supermodel now turned vice-captain of the black bulls, from what he had been told she had once lived here. Raised almost as the personal servant of her brothers to one day be married off to benefit them, the icy nature of the woman wouldn't allow that to happen and he honestly didn't blame her most nobles were annoying and deserved to die a very slow and painful death even in his opinion. Sure, he himself was arrogant, prideful and looked down on people but he would never force his children into marriage for any reason. Then again he was pretty sure the twins wouldn't even bother looking for such things. Mortals would see only daemons and seek to destroy them and the pair detested their own kind so they were a bit stuck in that regard. He watched her and chuckled hearing her words "Well thank you. I didn't have the chance to welcome the last group of people who entered my now domain and didn't want to be a rude host this time around whatever would you all think of us if I didn't say welcome?" she would hear almost as if he was directly behind her. "By the way, your brothers say hello perhaps you should visit them while you're home?" he said again only she would be able to hear him, he was making sure that only the ones he wanted to hear him would do so.
The black-haired black bull seemed to have been startled by the welcome display, good, he wanted to put as many as he could off centre even if it wasn't all at once or even at this moment. They all had weaknesses and strengths, sorrows and joys, the true beauty was some of the secrets that his children had been able to find out about these people. Right now the second black bull like the two civilians was of little consequence, they were nowhere near their full power but they did have a lot of potential if it was nurtured correctly. Still, like them he knew that to completely dismiss the youth would be a mad move on his part, it seemed like the female civilian he too used golems so this would indeed be interesting for him to see how the two differed and how they could possibly clash in their capabilities. This was a wonderful thing for him and for the first time in two months he seemed excited. Chisana would hear a light mocking chuckle "If this is the fruit of training then you must have been on vacation in the heart kingdom." he mocked the teenager, he seen nothing really special in this boy and wouldn't think differently until he gave him an actual reason to see him in a different light "Your star must be disappointed in you for not living up to your potential. Are you a disgrace to them? And if they did see you as a disgrace would they actually tell you? I mean your squad don't exactly have the best of reputations" he continued before now going quiet on the matter, he believed, for now, he had given the young man quite a bit to think about.
Now his attention turned to the last of the group, the purple orca, it was strange because from what he had seen so far she didn't seem like a typical one of that squad as they seemed to have some sort of defensive magic but this one didn't. She did however have a sharp mind for tactics as she started to give orders to the two that were in her charge. It was a good thing too as the group didn't seem to have any offensive capabilities so they needed to be smarter about how they fought. "My, my one of you has a brain." he would say allowing the three mages to hear. "I am impressed, I can see why you're captain accepted you though form what I know of you, you lack what they generally look for in their mages." he said knowing that the Purple Orca was known as a defensive squad. "Oh, you don't need to worry they can't see you but I can so that means like you are directing those two novice mages, I can direct them. Ready for a game of chess?" he asked his tone showing amusement as if this was a giant game and in honesty to him it was. With that, he went silent watching their reactions and how they would take on the enemy coming at them.
Story:
Sven has watched the group from an unknown position he has done his due diligence and sent the twins out well before their arrival to gain as much information as they could on at least the more powerful members of the group and that is only because he didn't expect weak people to be sent to a town where he took out a vice-captain. He has interacted with each of the group bar Sol in one way or another just to see what sort of reactions he will get out of them. The fight is about to start now that the enemy is close enough so be prepared for the fight to come. The more powerful mana beasts are heading towards the archmages and they have killer intent and almost look like they've been stitched together with other... things. Those heading towards Chisana and Rosa, they almost look like a decayed version of Rosa's brothers and their friends. Those heading towards Lilith, Sol and Verena they almost look like whatever gods there might be out there gave up and gave these things to a three-year-old to put together, they're horrifying and their howls add to that.
- Where this is a death enabled thread I will not be going out my way to kill characters, the only way this will happen is if silly actions take place on the players side.
- Actions have consequences not only for you but potentially whatever organisation you belong to so think before acting.
- Each round will generally last 3 - 4 days, extensions can be requested but they must come a little in advance and with a decent reason or they will be denied.
- You are not locked into anything until your first post within your thread.
- The event will run on three strikes in regards to skipping rounds. The first time will be a verbal warning and perhaps a trap being set off, the second time I am taking something from you and will set a trap off, third time you will either be removed or killed depending on the reasons for the skips.
- Withdrawing once the event is in full swing without a decent reason will result in your character dying, with a good reason you will be fine and have reduced rewards at the end.
- Any nerfing or buffing of stats/abilities via spell/item etc are not permanent unless otherwise stated and will end at the end of the thread.
- Lydia is flying above the town under orders of the Wizard King, only the captains know and only they can request help
- Lydia is allowed to shoot light into threads once per page, the light will last 2 rounds before vanishing during the 2 rounds of sight character vision will be fully restored
- If two or more characters are below 50% on either mana or health the light will return either 10 mana or 25% of the character's health per round it can not do both.
- During the two round of pure light Lydia will be able to see the town perfect for the most part so can relay information if requested to one group but she must be contacted for that information.
- If a captain in one thread asks for light to be given, the very next round the opposite thread will gain the benefit of the light so use this wisely.
- If Lydia believes someone is doing something stupid after two rounds and if gm permission is asked she can shoot a warning shot at the person in question but not directly hit them.
- Just clarifying Lydia will only take one warning shot at the feet if she believes you are messing up, if she has to shoot at you again you will be taking damage equal to a quarter of your rank. (Juniors will be taking junior damage as will intermediates) If she has to shoot deal with you a third time she is allowed to attempt to knock you out. A warning from the people in the group will always be allowed to be given before Lydia will be allowed to take a shot regardless.
- Chisana start colouring your text for me please reading blocks of white makes me read the same sentence or paragraph several times to see if I've missed anything.
- Read each other's posts more carefully because not one of you seem to have realised that Lilith asked a question, right now she is tied up all her ability to communicate with the other team or even help communicate with Lydia as she has no idea who can see through her illusion/sense her.

[attr="class","verenaver2scroll"] "C-Curse magic...?" she asked, eyes growing wide with fear when Sol mentioned it.[break][break]
Verena immediately grabbed her arm, biting her lip upon hearing that. Five years. Five years of living in fear. Of losing everything. Though she no longer acknowledged herself a Reinsberg, the family lost everything in Clover as well, their name tarnished as a result of Renfir's actions. His selfish actions destroyed the family, his daughter, and most importantly to him, his dreams.[break][break]
At his core, his very existence was that of a curse. And that curse still lingered over her, even now. She could never live a normal life because of that man. All because of his envy. His jealousy. Despite the fact...[break][break]
Verena was having to compose herself. This was no time to let her fear overcome her. At the end of the day, this "Sol's" magic was non-offensive, too. That likely meant that he was a pacifist as well. Or at least, that's what she'd tell herself at this moment. "...It's okay," she said. "I can only make golems; I can't fight at all otherwise, either."[break][break]
Verena took a deep breath. They were only at the beginning stage. There was still a lot of work that they had to do. And Zaven's grouping was likely in bad taste, though he probably didn't know it. Lilith was going to have to carry the bulk of the workload. The former noble took a deep sigh, trying to steel herself. This was what Jorah had tried preparing her for two months prior.[break][break]
"Verena, have the golem move further up, and if you can make another one of the same golem, use that as backline defense."[break][break]
Lilith's voice rang out in her head, making her aware of what sounded like a strategically sound plan. Not that she knew what a strategically sound plan was, but that wasn't important at this moment. Immediately acting on the order, she ordered her golem up roughly four meters as well as casting a second golem to watch the rear flank, doing her best to follow the orders given. She didn't have time to question anything. Even though she was afraid of the male within the group, she just had to put her faith in Lilith right now, and work past her fear.[break][break]
...That was her biggest issue.[break][break]
She was no Magic Knight. She was a coward. She hated and detested fighting. But this was a reclamation effort-- the very definition of fighting. She was not "protecting", she was on the side that was "attacking". If she had her way, she'd get people to safety, then get out. But that wasn't an option. From the very beginning, it wasn't. Perhaps a part of her realized that before even stepping in. No... she knew from the moment she had made up her mind. Though Kikka had fallen to daemons, it would take an offensive measure to deal with this. She had to fight. She had to fight, so she could save people who had nothing to do with this.[break][break]
And so- Verena found herself training, preparing, and steeling herself for this day. She thought she was ready. She was wrong. She didn't realize how wrong she was until she heard the daemon's whisper in her ears.[break][break]
"At least one of you has a brain."
There was no magic used on her. There was no item. This was no hallucination. The comment was playful in nature, but Verena realized immediately the ramifications. He knew where all of them were at. He was monitoring the situation, listening. Could he hear the telepathic commands then, too? Paralyzed by the overflowing thoughts that ran through her head from the moment she heard Sven's voice, various possibilities entered her mind. Kikka was now the domain of daemons, right? Did that mean from the moment that they stepped in, they were already under his control? What was the extent of his control?[break][break]
She couldn't think. She couldn't do anything. Her mind raced with thousands of different thoughts, and all of them ended with one thing.[break][break]
Death.[break][break]
Without Lillith involving herself with a command to her, Verena would have frozen up once more, getting ahold of herself. The best thing to do in this moment was to assess the battle. Her vision was limited, but golems needn't rely on that. She had two golems out right now, and Lilith acknowledged that some mana beasts might get past her. Both golems were on lookout duty, but Verena had no golem for herself she could reliably use to protect herself.[break][break]
Utilizing a third golem might prove to be a costly endeavor, but with the mana beasts now approaching, she realized it was in her best interest.[break][break]
There was no sense in taking careless risks in this fight. Three might have been excessive, but as dark as it was, she had to take every precaution possible. The mana beasts were approaching, and it was probably for the best Verena couldn't quite see what they looked like where they were at. The earth golem lowered it's hand, letting Verena step up as it raised it's hand. This wasn't technically a command, but Lilith likely wasn't aware of the issues surrounding her physical constitution. Dodging would be quite a bit difficult for her, and so it was worth the expense of mana. The rear golem was only temporary anyways, as was this golem. She was eight meters up in the air as well, which would hopefully make it a bit harder for them to get to her.[break][break]
Given the autonomous command to the first summoned Golem, she'd likely be made aware of when fighting broke out--she'd likely hear it. But it'd likely end up being completely destroyed. Thus the preset command for both wooden golems was changed:[break][break]
"Destroy one approaching target. Exception: mana signatures weaker than my own." This way, she wouldn't risk getting Sol injured, or any unfortunate passerby. This thought was also telepathic, to see if Sven truly could read minds, and how it would impact the actions the group would have to take at large.

COMBAT SUMMARY
[break]
[attr="class","verenaver2scroll2"] TL;DR verena is in halloween spirits, as she is fucking terrified. between curse magic being a ptsd thing for her, and sven revealing he knows where the group is at. moves first wood golem up about four meters (technically teen feet), summons a second to watch the rear flank. lilith will hopefully snap her back to reality, and she summons a third golem to protect herself, giving new orders to the wood golems as well. Description: Utilizing earthern mana, Verena constructs a bipedal golem made up of various types of rocks and stone. Various rocks protrude from it's forearms, knees, and from the back of it's head down it's back, akin to spikes... but if spikes were blunt, like incredibly small hills, no larger than a full grown man's leg, though each of these tend to differ in size. These rocks are placed over thicker and more durable rocks that function akin to an armor plating, but don't offer any defense beyond the normal body itself.[break][break]
A golem created via Gaia's Blessing's head is stretched out just a bit, giving it's forehead the impression of a hammer due to the bluntness in which it appears. Though it possess' decent strength as a result of it's size and build, the more devastating thing it can do is headbutts. Of course, it is still a Junior ranked golem, so it is incapable of dealing any truly devastating damage. These golems will usually stay near Verena, and rarely leave her side. She often uses them to ride upon.[break][break]
Verena is able to create one (1) golem per ten (10) control she has at once, maxing out at five. Due to Summoner, she gets an Earth affinity bonus (+1 Durability), in addition to her Puppet Master and Reinforced Golems perk.[break]

Description: Summoner Creation: Phaunus' Gift is made utilizing mana with Wood Affinity. The golem itself is incredibly simple in design. It's a humanoid golem made from wooden branches that have been smoothed out, and then banded together with more limber wood to hold it in place, like a wicker basket. The golem is incredibly basic and barebones in it's functionality, only punching and kicking to assail it's enemies. Still, due to it's simplicity, it is incredibly easy to control, and effective for most other tasks she may need them for.[break][break]

[attr="class","ardereescroll"]A chill ran up the Crimson King's spine as fear attempted to burrow into his mind. Fear was the death of determination and will, the mind killer. Ardere was aware of this, and despite the deep rooted fear that lay dormant within his veins; he did not waver. For far too long had he been pitted against monster and Daemon--today was not different. The voices and the whispers would invoke fear into any man, that much was certain, but he was no ordinary man after all. But one thing man his hand tremble for just a moment; Firrh. The voice piercing deep into his heart was enough to make his hand tremble, which did not prompt him to retreat. As the Captain stood there, a smile crept across his lips. Oh that much I am certain of. Tch. Folding his arms and closing his eyes for a moment, he hyper focused on his Ki tracking. Everything around him was pure energy for a moment, as if his focus had been lost into the flow of the universe. [break][break] You're going to have to do better than whispers and dead languages, Daemon. Ardere had been broken down to nothing, destroyed and shattered like glass. When Silas died, everything about him changed. He had lost a crucial part of who he was, but that part was not gone. The strength that resided in his body was re-forged into something stronger than before, something brighter. No mere parlor tricks were going to break him. In fact he was sure he'd die sooner than be broken. The man he was once before was no longer, only a knight in blazing armor. Needless to say, the ferocity in combat that ensued was nothing short of voracious. Eyes shining red, he commanded the two swords to form into a cross shape. Then he twirled a finger in the air, commanding them to spin like a fan, but much faster. The blades spun as such a high intensity that as he held them against the ground, they melted through pure stone like a knife through butter. I'll take two and you take two, Zaven. Launching the spinning flame blades at both of his targets, he whipped them back and forth to provide intense slashes at a hellish speed before separating the blades themselves and attempting to impale both creatures with two blades each. Sol, focus on binding and slowing them down. Provide support where you can. Everyone else keep it up! If this worked they would be impaled straight into the ground, the flesh beasts they were. His movements and control over the blades was as precise as one would expect of an Archmage, but one thing he would not allow is for the beasts to get closer. They would sooner be torn to shreds before that happened. [break][break] Something was off about the monsters that pursued them, as if they were stitched together. Were they perhaps corpses? It was not something he wished to dwell on, but he could not help it. That being said, Ardere could feel a massive strike to the morale coming. The mind play here performed by Sven was no doubt top tier, even if he himself was not amused by it. When one stands in front of the darkness for so long, it stops looking like darkness. Stand strong, guys. Don't let him get inside your head. That's his goal. Remember you're stronger than that, otherwise you wouldn't be here. There is strength in all of you, even if you can't see it. Grinding his teeth, he looked up to the sky for a moment. He hoped Lydia was faring better than they were.
[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] As he waited he heard the voice, a soothing...calm...cold voice that told him exactly what he wanted to hear...just like when he let the shadows take control when he was with Hinota on their training mission. A promise of power, if he just gave in...but gave in to what...this daemon really did not use its words well enough to cause him to falter. The temptation made him smile, but the shadow whose voice he knew well did not say a word, calling to question the legitimacy of the claim regardless, but he knew that if this was who he thought it was, an elaborate game was being set up and they would be the pawns, but what this daemon did not know was this one thing... [break][break]
Zaven Blake was nobody’s pawn, and he had been staring into the abyss for a long time, that cold feeling of death always at his back, his veins felt cold...it was normal. This was nothing that brought a chill to his psyche. He knew what he signed up for when he joined the knights...when he fought his captain to become a Vice Captain after fighting in a death battle with the former traitorous Tetsuya, the Shining Palace where he nearly died because he was still not strong enough...then the Forgotten Tower...where he actually became a new person...No The Shadow of Dawn was no longer just a piece inside of a game. He did see and hear Ardere give out additional orders and exclaim that they would each take two. Zaven’s facial expression never changed as he watched the Crimson Lion attack. [break][break]
The golem that was circling the perimeter sent back that it had found the enemies as they would be then confirmed by his shadow mana as his AoE spell, the Erebus Strike would finally have it’s range. Ardere would cast his spell, and the others would move to their positions as his eyes closed for a moment just to center his mana before releasing it like a beacon. He pulled back on the drawstring and as the arrow materialized he fired it, followed up by another in a rapid succession like he was actually a trained archer. He remembered a time when it was simple tasks like learning to hold a weapon correctly, or mustering up the courage to strike back at his father. The beasts before him were tortured...twisted forms of what once was. His arrows homed in on their targets like divine judgement. Achilles raced towards where Lillith and the two citizens were to assist them in taking down their threats if they came to pass. Ardere had a small round of words where he told them not to let “him” into their heads. Zaven meanwhile did not falter for a moment as he just kept to the task at hand. Fighting these beasts and putting them down for good. ”Tch!” He said as he watched and prepared another round of firing if need be.

As he mentioned one of his specialty's was curse magic Sol noticed the stutter in his partner Verenas voice when she questioned it, ”yes but ill be using it to support us and keep us alive” he mentioned as she explained that it was fine and that other then her golems she couldn’t fight either. It was then that he heard the words of their foe and he scowled which along with his slitted eyes that glowed slightly in the darkness made him look rather fearsome, “huh he’s rather confident I cant wait to hear his tone change when we take his head” he said his grip on his blade tightening. It was beyond irritating to know that the enemy was watching and enjoying the situation they were in it showed how cowardly they were. Hearing Ards voice call out Sol could bearly make out what was shouted to him but it seemed the knight in his group Lillith was more then able to give him orders.
“Understood Ma’am” he said knowing he had a few area effect spells but he could easily avoid using them. though Sol could not see Lillith he heard her explain to them what the plan was before warning that they will need to be ready for close range combat since it was highly possible that enemies might get past her. Sol nodded before he got flipped a page on his grimoire as the sounds of the beasts drew closer he quickly pointed forward ”Blood Magic Interfectum Malus” he called out as he shot two spikes of hardened blood at where he thought the mana beast would be emerging from due the the sound. if struck it would mark them with a bright red skull symbol and would drain their strength to make them weaker and much easier to kill. Sol took a deep breath he looked calm but deep down he was a bit shaken by the appearance of such beasts, Sol had never seen things that were that horrific and the howls they were giving off were chilling as well."gotta give the enemy credit they know how to make beasts scary" he mumbled more to himself then the others
Description: by gesturing to the opponent with his hand Sol will form a spike of blood before him before launching it at the opponent however if it hits it does not do damage instead the foe will gain a skull marking on their body where the spike hit before they will feel their strength drained immensely and their physical strength lowered by junior rank. Sol considers this weakening a foe before final judgement hence its naming meaning "Killing Evil"
[attr="class","lillytext"] The gemstone mage would watch as the mention of Sol's magic seemed to make Verena uncomfortable. Lilly wasn't sure why this was the case however it seemed that the brown head women was still going to be able to work with him. As Lillith got behind the wall it seemed Sven would play his first hand trying to make them all freak out. She wasn't surprised he was able to see past her illusion. However the fact that he was able to actually see her right now was a bit concerning. As he spoke to the gemstone mage personally she wouldn't respond right away. After all she was able to tell he'd already managed to get into Verena's head based on the way she was just frozen right now. [break][break] The purple orca mage would use her control to allow the golem mage to see past her illusion before turning to face her for a moment. Verena focus on the battle in front of you. It doesn't matter if he can speak to us he's just trying to get in your head and play with your fears that's what he's all about. it seemed to work as she snapped out of it getting her golems to work. Sol's reaction to the thing was a bit different and she would address it. The confidence is nice and all but we more than likely won't fight him ourselves so don't get to far ahead of yourself. The red haired mage would then look up at the sky for a moment speaking as she had a feeling that the Deamon was still able to hear her. [break][break] A game of chess huh? Well its not a very fair game when you have more pieces than I do. Then again I'd imagine as Demaon doesn't care about what's fair or not when it comes to killing us all. Lillith would then turn her attention to the mana beast that should have arrived by now. She would wait for them to enage the golem before see made her own move heading out from behind the wall to try and and cut down two of mana beast who looked like whatever had made them had just given up on them. She of course remembered what the deamon leader had told her so she would also keep an eye out for any mana beast that try to come after her to try and counter attack them. [break][break] Lilly was able see sense a powerful spell coming form Zaven. She wasn't able to tell how strong it was but based on the fact he was a captain she wasn't counting on it being to weak. She just hoped he had a plan as the AoE seemed to be heading towards her group which would hurt a lot if not kill the three of them.

Rosa could feel Chisana’s familiar mana flare up from besides her. He was ready. She could tell as much from all of the times she’d watched him train with Malcolm. She’d taken his place for a bit once he’d entered his magic slump, but she was glad he was back and ready for a fight. It wasn’t Chisana otherwise. Lovable, hard-headed, noble Chisana. The witch could also hear the Purple Orca shouting orders around which…surprised her initially. Well isn’t she cocky? [break][break] Then…a cold feeling crawled over her spine as she heard a voice, low but airy address her comment. Her ruby hues grew wide with surprise. How large was this thing’s range of mana and magic? Holy shit. She felt her shoulders tense and she swung her head around to look for the voice. No-one. “Well that’s very kind of you, daemon lord.” She hissed coldly. His voice did tickle her though. He sounded hot. That line of thought quickly evaporated however when a topic she never expected to hear was brought up. Her “brothers…”
[break][break] It felt like a slap to her face. Those men that she hated with so much passion. The reason she never met her mother. The reason she almost ended up marrying some noble so they could get rich. The model could feel the bile at the back of her throat. He knew about them, about her past. It was in the tone.
[break][break] “Maybe I will.” The beauty hissed out, as she summoned forth her “Frostbite” whips under her breath. One was wrapped around her thigh, while the other was in her superior hand- the right one. Once again, her magic brought forth a wave of coolness over the battlefield before Rosa turned back to facing her enemies alongside Chisana. “Alright, the big bad boss is making me frisky.” She said to no one in particular. A little annoyed smirk climbed onto her lips. He’d gotten to her in one of the only ways he could, but she wouldn’t show Sven that he’d succeeded.
[break][break] When her gaze landed on the specific enemies headed in her direction however…her eyebrows furrowed. “I take it back.” Her skin temperature went down several degrees as she processed the rather familiar features. “I think I’ll be manic by the end of this.” Her hometown looked like crap anyways. A little giggle left her lips as she swung her whip over to the nearest chimney, wrapping it around the structure before pulling herself ontop of the rooftop for high ground. She then cracked her whip at the first decaying monstrosity that entered her line of vision while maintaining her defensive spells on the two citizens, herself and Chisana. The people around her were powerful. She could recognise Zaven’s mana the way she could tell what alcohol he’d drank the on his breath. Not that she was close enough to be able to say today anyways.
[break][break] “Oi Captains…the big bad daemon told me to go check up on my…on where I used to reside growing up…may I have permission to take someone and do so, covering more area in the process?” She voiced quickly, her voice carrying strongly as she let another swing of her whip target the enemy for senior damage. It could be a trap, she knew as much...

Rosa summoned her frostbite whips, and Sven has peaked her curiousity. She is from Kikka, after all. She's lived here 19 years.

Description: Rosalia pours mana into her grimoire, summoning forth a whip of flexible black ice, called Frostbite.  The whip deals senior damage to an enemy, buffing the caster's Power by +9 upon usage. If the whip is picked up by an ally, they obtain a buff of +12 Power.[break]

Description: Rosalia summons forth a living barrier of gentle pale ice that swirls around herself and several allies of her choice. The barrier acts as an intermediate level defense spell that glistens under the sun, protecting the target from damage. If an enemy gets close enough to attack, however, the ice in the barrier will strike out against them, dealing intermediate damage and turning black.

[attr="class","chisanascroll"] Chisana looked around for the voice that entered his head with slow methodical searching but when he could not see anyone, he figured it was probably the work of the Daemon he had heard so much about. It looked for a crack in the young man, poking at the so-called fruit of his training, it was childish but not far from the truth. He had not been able to do as much training as he wished. Things had gotten complicated and with the mess up with his magic and his inability to use it had caused him to refocus on learning how to fight a different way. Which is why he was more a physical fighter now then what he was when first started his journey. [break][break] Now when the voice mentioned his family, he was sure that this voice had just gotten his information just from observing them day to day because to Chisana the Snake Star was just another obstacle in his pursuit of power and strength. Chisana had no qualms if his Star or the family as a whole saw him as a disgrace they were as much distant relatives then actual family anyways, most of his desire to be the Star is from the stories he heard from his father growing up. Chisana had always been more of the type to stay off to himself and go alone when it came to most things it wasn’t till recently with the joining of the squad and being pushed by those around him that he even started to open up to others but that didn’t mean he cared if they liked him or otherwise. [break][break] Taking a deep breath he released it with a smile, “I actually was on vacation for a bit and so far today I feel like I still am.” Chisana decided that it was just best to go all out from now on, just in time too with the approach of some abominations he sent his currently summoned golems at them making sure to have them attack the ones that Rosa hadn’t been targeting. There wasn’t any reason to overkill right now but he did feel like they were a bit to lonely on the battlefield right now and went ahead and casted another 2 spells Bird and Serpent along with activating his item’s abilities, Snake’s Grace and Snake’s Movement. With his spells he summons 5 Jr Bird looking Golems and 5 JR Snake shaped Golems he commands them to push forward and be a line of defense against any other enemies approaching. The energy that flowed into his Items and then back into him after they activated always felt like a shock to the system as it made him faster than his typical ability. Once this was completed, he heard Rosa ask for permission to go exploring and since they were already a group, “I can go with her, we are already doing this whole group thing anyways.” [break][break]

TL;DR Chisana has some time to think about what the Voice says, doesn't really care about how his family sees him. Was actually on a vacation not to long ago, gets sassy about it and activates his item's abilities Snake Movement and Snake Grace which boost his Speed from 5m/s to 17m/s for 3 turns having 2 more charges left before having to pay to recharge the items. He has his currently summoned 6 Int golems to attack the creatures approaching and not the ones that Rosa has already targeted while Summoning 10 Jr Golems to form a sort of defensive line for any other creatures coming. Mana used: 88= 20 to cast the JR spells, 20 to sustain the Int Spells and 44 to activate both Item Abilities. 35 Mana regened so only 53 mana used this turn.

The archdaemon watched to see how his words would affect many of the group, he knew that it would take more than what he had done to break the more senior members of the group. They had come across his kind before but likely not any such as himself, his brethren were far too short-sighted in his mind and went in for the kill to quickly and when they did try and play the long game the weren't prepared for the tactics that it would take to pull off such a play. The mid-tiers likely too had come across his kind in some regard so it would also take a bit of time to get into their heads depending on their experiences but again they wouldn't have come across a daemon like himself or his children, they were quite unique within their race as the former team that happened upon their invasion and domination Kikka had found out first hand. They didn't see the need to kill the weak, it did little to prove anything to anyone after all only cowards and people who had little man syndrome would do such distasteful acts in his mind. He had no issue on using the weak as board pieces in his game but he would never allow them to be fully sacrificed, well, at least not at his hands as it would defeat the purpose of why he took over the town in the first place now wouldn't it. The lower-ranked mages that took on this task, on the other hand, seemed to have been quite affected by what he said but then they would have never dealt with his kind in any way, shape or form which would give him something to toy with as he continued with his schemes.
It would seem the summoner had decided to summon more golems to aid her and the command she had given made him chuckle quietly, he knew that given her own strength that very little those things wouldn't hit, in fact, normal teenagers had the same strength as herself meaning that these golems would attack civilians of around fifteen years or older as they would have gained their grimoires by that point. That was one thing he hadn't prevented, he understood that it was an important right of passage for the mortals within his domain and so he had allowed a single grimoire award ceremony to happen bi-weekly so longs the citizens behaved themselves. In the beginning, there had been rebellion and people trying to do what those stronger than themselves couldn't and it had caused an entire month to go by without a single grimoire being given. Those who had tried to start the rebellion had been punished and their grimoires removed and locked away making them useless. It would seem after the citizens seen what happened to those who tried and failed they didn't attempt anything again and a ceremony had been allowed two weeks later with the warning that it was a privilege not a right in his dominion and would be taken away if anyone tried to attack him or those that served him. And from there it seemed even though there had been civil unrest things had calmed to the point both sides could live in harmony for the time being.
The summoner seemed to have been more than a little unnerved but she had seemed that way since stepping foot into his dominion and hearing his voice seemed to have placed her more on edge, he hadn't said anything that could have been deemed as a threat but still, the young woman was acting as if it had been. He also picked up on how she reacted about the news of one of her current teammates using hex and curses, it wasn't exactly a common specialization amongst mages but it did have its own merits and had he been stronger could have been quite effective in certain scenarios. The mana beasts though weaker than most that had been attracted by the fireworks display still passed a serious threat to the team of three. Sol would be able to hear Sven chuckle as if he had just heard an amusing joke "Child we are not on the same level and were I find you interesting you are little less than an ant, so don't get ahead of yourself it might end that promising life of yours prematurely." his tone went from being amused in the beginning to showing his true nature by the end of his statement, even though he and his children seen killing those weaker than themselves uncouth and below them there was always exceptions to rules and this mage may be his if he didn't keep his cockiness under control. Two of the four mana beasts ran right into the blood spikes letting out blood-curdling shrieks they hadn't taken any damage but still, they had been weakened within their hands formed orbs of pure aura and they were aiming right for Verena and Sol but luckily had been blocked by Zaven's own golems who had been faster than the attacks had been.
When it came to the red-headed purple orca Sven smirked, she had managed to bring the mousy woman back to her senses and even attempted to get the black-haired civilian to wind in his noble arrogance before speaking to the daemon herself "Ah, that is where you are wrong my dear" he said calmly, he knew the information he was going to give would be seen as him being overconfident or boasting strength but to him, this was a well-placed move "You actually have more pieces on this board than I do, in fact, I have the exact same pieces as when I first took over this town. I only have a king and a queen, so you have many more pieces." he informed her "Also my dear if I had planned on killing you those welcome traps would have killed at least two of your group but they did nothing of the sort." he sighed shaking his head almost disappointed in how he was viewed not that he could blame her given how his kin normally were. "My children and I are daemons with a sense of honour if we weren't the civilians here would be dead but I made a pact with one of your vice-captains and have kept to that arrangement. No civilian has ever been harmed within their home." he said his voice cold that he was being put in the same idiotic bubble as the other two that had tried to take over Raque and the Royal Capital. "Also, I could have killed that vice-captain but I did not..." he closed his eyes "I gave her back to your kingdom's greatest mage with a note telling him exactly what had transpired here, I saw no need to kill someone who had shamed themselves." his tone showed no hints of deceit as he spoke on the topic of Artemis.
Slightly annoyed a large shard of shadow appeared above the group before breaking into six pieces, these pieces quickly came down at the speed of a senior rank spells but they weren't aiming for people but rather the mirrors that the gemstone mage had made to communicate with the group; if they hit the mirrors they would instantly smash and the communication with that person would come to an end unless recast. While this had been going on Lilith had easily managed to take down two of the mana beasts their shrieks of pain sounding more human by the second as they seemingly cried at what had happened to them. Zaven himself had released an arrow from his bow, it had whizzed right past Ardere's head being so close that it managed to cut a few strands of his hair before homing into the greatest threat and hitting it dead on the heart killing it outright but not before it released a scream of pain tears falling as passed away. He chuckled seeing how the flame of courage would act, he could see the man's hand tremble even if it was only for a brief moment "I know it will not be so easy to break you Firrh but if it was there wouldn't be much fun when it eventually does happen." he said to the captain of the lions "Still, I felt and seen the difference when you heard those dead languages and whispers, the thoughts of those days long since past still haunt you little Firrh..." he couldn't help but smirk "And what if I told you they aren't dead, in fact, they are alive and well even to this day." his voice was clear and again held no apparent tone that would show if he was telling a lie or not. "Some, in fact, live within the city." he added on before he allowed the man to fight.
As fast as the fire mage had been the beasts had been slightly faster but that didn't mean they got away unscathed, they had indeed taken damage with the wound cartarising from the fire as it hit their side and chest, human screams once again coming from the enemy as well as tears. The area around the group now starting to smell as if something was burning, sure there was the scent of wood but there was something more, something less than savoury... it smelt like flesh but the source and what was being burned wasn't known but there were screams now filling the area of several civilians. "Don't worry about your overwatch, she at the moment is perfectly fine as she hasn't interfered with our game, the moment she does well that will be a different matter." she informed the captains alone, he was showing he was fully aware Lydia was there but also that he had no intention of attacking her so longs she herself stayed out of what was going on in the town, he knew that something like this could likely happen and so had several back-up plans for the speed mage but as he also knew she was quite willing to attack her own allies if she saw them as a threat to the kingdom and so this mission so to him she was quite the wild card.
Now his gaze once again turned on the ice mage, he could see why she was popular amongst mortals but she wasn't quite his cup of tea. He smiled at her words but could only chuckle as she hissed as he brought up a sore subject with the red-headed mage. "I'm sure they would enjoy seeing their sister again, I wouldn't make them wait too long." he said knowing that this could easily make her split from the group and so make it easier to pick them off. He watched her as she cast her spell and said that she was getting frisky because of the big bad boss "I didn't realise your captain was here, did I miss him?" he asked, this time he allowed the entire group to hear as he tilted his head almost sounding somewhere between confused and about to burst into a fit of laughter. He was trying to get a further rise out of the would be supermodel and throw her further off balance but he had no idea if this would be playing his cards to quickly or right at the correct moment, either way, he'd find it amusing. She soon showed her prowess with the frost whips that she had made making easy work of the enemy she had aimed towards, he knew these enemies would be no match for the group in general but he wanted to measure their strength. Soon enough she had used her whip and elegantly swung herself onto the rooftops where she continued her assault on the beasts below while keeping the defensive spell on her allies. It was clear given how they looked she was going destroy them without thought to the consequences of what it could actually be, they knew the three daemons were illusionists and tricksters but not a single one had hesitated or question if the enemy they were seemingly fighting were indeed enemies. Before long the vice-captain of the Black Bulls had requested to go off on with one other of the group and was awaiting the approval before doing so.
He watched the younger of the two Black Bulls looking around as if trying to find the daemon "So close yet so far." he said to him as if mocking his inability to see him, he knew that none of the group would be able to see him as he was using the shadow that ensnared the town to keep an eye on the group and communicate with them as he deemed fit. "It seems like you have your magic under control finally, were you worried that you'd be kicked out of the knights if you couldn't adapt?" he asked in earnest, he knew that magic was important in this world and those without it or that were weaker in it were often shunned. "Oh I'm glad you think you're on vacation because I'd hate to be an ungracious host." he said a smile creeping across his pale lips as he watched the spells of the male be cast, he had to admit that the use of golems this group had were quite interesting and varied in abilities he was sure, between the birds, snakes and other golems created and the onslaught of the ice princess herself the enemies stood no chance and again cried out like normal human beings in agony. It would seem like he had offered to go with her as back up in the captains allowed her but in the daemon's mind only fools rushed where angels feared to tread so it would be interesting.
[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] The voice was not targeting him specifically it seemed this time but he knew better than to think that everyone was as lucky. As his shot hit its mark, he watched as Ardere also attacked, the others doing the same as Zaven was thinking. He had a lot of spells that he could use in this instance, but with the bow being a sure kill each time he decided to take aim at the other big ugly fucker...the more ugly the better the target as he took aim (The Grand one if possible) and he formed a shadow arrow before letting it loose as it fired off and towards its intended target without fail. After it hit its target Zaven would immediately cancel the Erebus Strike as Achillies would run up and through the perimeter, and would continue to block and or attack if needed. (Leaving it to GM Discretion) ”Whatever it is saying, pay no attention to it, it is just trying to get you all to be distracted. Keep up your good work, and if you are overwhelmed please call out.” Zaven said in a blunt yet larger than life tone, it spoke with experience of battle, yet also one that cared about his allies in this fight. [break][break]
The stench, when it hit him...the gods themselves that ruled over the damned could not produce an odor this horrid, but he did not think anything of it. Even as Sven addressed the captains, and the group as a whole Zaven’s hand did not falter, he did not apologize to Ardere at that moment, and he even called up to Rosalia. ”Rosalia, if you can see anyone in trouble call them out, I am counting on you.” He said as he could feel the mana surging around him as the other golems were pulled into play. ”Ardere...can you hold the line if something happens and I need to help the other groups?” Zaven asked the big man, he had trust in him, but these creatures were not normal...and currently he could not afford to have any uncertainty. ”Purple Orca team, how is it looking from your side? There are still enemies that I can sense out there, but I do not have line of sight.” Zaven called out and waited for an answer, he had already retrieved a few pieces of splintered wood to use for his fissure blades as he kept control with his mana on the golem and prepared for another wave.

[attr="class","verenaver2scroll"] Sven had remained quiet. That was good. It made it just a little bit easier on her to focus on the task at hand. And that was why the Reinsberg was bewildered by Sol's response. "...Are you stronger than the Green Mantis' Vice-Captain?" she inquired. "You're doing an amazing job at hiding your mana if so. It's strange you have no offensive magic though..."[break][break]
Through her words and tone, it was obvious she meant no slight towards the former Silver Eagle, but she couldn't fathom someone being at the same level she herself was at even daring to utter those words in this moment. Even still, she wasn't so careless as to let her chit chat distract her from the battle at hand. Perhaps because she was so especially weak she was especially sensitive to things going on right now. It was why she was able to hear Rosalia's request to the captains--though, the fact she was louder about it so they could hear her did help a bit.[break][break]
This request caused her to frown. Due to the types of opponents they were up against, who specialized in illusions, it made sense to stick together, didn't it? Even she knew that the daemons would be trying to get under everyone's skin. She knew that the daemons knew where they were at, too. It'd be far too easy to take advantage of someone getting split up for a surprise attack. Combined that with the fact that it'd be easy enough to impersonate Rosa since the beings here seemed to have an affinity for Shadow...[break][break]
Well, she knew that the Captains wouldn't excuse her to do just that, not when it risked the group at large to be doing so. The fact was things were only just starting out, and she didn't think anyone really had a true understanding of the situation yet. Before splitting up could be considered an option, getting a read on the situation would have been vital. She was sure Jorah would say something like that in this moment, too. Right now, everyone was still nearby one another, within earshot.[break][break]
Still, when Verena thought she was beginning to understand the situation, she took notice of another golem that had stepped up, protecting them. She couldn't see it that well, due to the obscured vision and general darkness that enveloped everything, but she knew that Zaven had summoned a Golem as well. But it had dealt with the incoming threat.
Still, something was very wrong. Very, very wrong. She could tell it in every fiber of her being when she heard a scream. A scream of pure agony. The timing with Zaven's arrow and that scream couldn't just be chance. She didn't have too much experience with mana beasts, but they were just that. They were no better than golems without a master. They lacked identity, feelings, a sense of fear. They simply were a byproduct of excessive mana that took on a form.[break][break]
Then, there was the smell. That scent of burning flesh. She took a moment to think hard on this. What was the absolute worst thing that could happen in this scenario? The populace was under the control of the Daemons. They likely knew that those here knew they used illusions. Sven thought of this as a greeting. Which meant he wasn't going to take things seriously yet. In that case, sending non-combatants to the stage was...[break][break]
"Phaunus, at my side, now!"[break][break]
This was wrong. This was very wrong. She knew Zaven said to ignore it, but her mind was overloaded with thoughts. Could it be risked? No, that would go against everything that the group was trying to do; at the very least, that she was trying to do. She remembered the Wizard King's advice. Don't trust everything you see. It was possible that their sense of smell and sound was what was under control as well, but in a situation like this, she couldn't afford to chance it, either. Should she respond to Zaven? No, she couldn't. His instincts were much sharper than her own.[break][break]
Still... she couldn't ever risk hurting an innocent person. There were far too many red flags, and though she wouldn't tell anyone to do the same as she was, Verena was not bound to listen to these orders. She was no Magic Knight. She knew an anguished scream, a plea for mercy when she heard one. She knew genuine fear, for she had experienced it. She wondered if the others in this group knew it. To be the victim. In any case, it didn't matter.[break][break]
She lacked any real sensory, but it was hopefully enough to detect any incoming threat. She wasn't going to keep the autonomous orders. She'd have to wing it. If she was stronger, she might have confronted Sven on this. She might have tried calling a bluff by speaking to the daemon 'directly', for whatever that meant. The Reinsberg believed he could hear them, and she knew that he was already watching them. But honestly, if she could avoid his watchful gaze, the better. She didn't want to exist as even a blip on Sven's radar. What else was she to do?

Hearing his partner ask if he was stronger then the green mantis vice captain Sol felt his eyebrows twitching. She then went on to say that he was amazing at hiding his power if he only used non offensive magic which Sol sighed. “No im not stronger then the vice captain I was referring to us collectively gaining victory” he explained. Sol remained focused on what he could see and hear at the edges of his vision when he suddenly heard the one they were trying to take down. The dark haired mage heard Sven tell him that they were nowhere near the same level and what while interesting he was little more then an ant to the deamon and that if he got ahead of himself he would cut his life short. The blood mage wanted to make a biting comment back but he unfortunately had to admit that the foe was right he was nowhere near strong enough to take him on. He had not been meaning to be cocky but he unfortunately had come off that way, even with Sven thinking he was being cocky Sol simply tightened the grip on his katana and his eyes gained a fearsome glare to them.
As he had fired off his blood spike he suddenly heard blood curdling screams and he narrowed his eyes as he assumed his spikes had found their mark before a scent hit his nose that he had never smelled before and prayed he never did again. It was the smell of burning flesh and the noxious scent made Sols stomach twist but he held strong and forced the nausea down. Hearing one of the captains call out and ask about the situation Sol focused on what he knew.” Not sure captain I managed to hit two with a spell from the sounds of it but im not able to sense how many are around us” he called back. In the red eyed civilians mind his thoughts were moving a mile a minute since his sensory was terrible and he could only rely on his hearing and sight, the mans sense of smell would do nothing and even if it could all he could smell was burning flesh it was truly a bad situation for all of them but with little to no sensory ability made it even more dangerous. Sol was now starting to wonder if all of them would make it out in one piece or would they lose members to the deamons. Shaking his head Sol focused he wouldn’t let fear grip and control him he had signed up for this and knew the risks if he fell then he would died on this mission he would go down swinging if he had to. Focusing ahead he stayed close to Verena and the golems to provide backup incase something unexpected happened.
I don't know where the future[break][break] will take us,[break][break] But we will blaze it together.[break][break]

[attr="class","ardereescroll"]Ardere closed his eyes once again, the anger beginning to boil in his blood and in his bones. While the words themselves were deflected from his heart, his muscles seemed to want to act on their own. Even Zaven calling out did not reach him at the moment, so he froze--right where he stood. His attacks had battered the enemies but not quite killed them. The minions were faster than he had anticipated. Yet even as they all stood together, the Captain found it a vicious struggle to gather himself for a moment. He did not shake or waver, but merely sat there for a moment--just a moment. That was all it took before he reopened his eyes and blazing rage flowed through them. [break][break] The past always haunts me, Sven. Not a day has gone by since I turned fifteen that I didn't feel the weight of my Father's actions and my own bare down on me. Reaching a hand out, Ardere commanded the blades of flame under his domain to split. Dragging the swords back towards the Senior ranked target, he sent them at the Senior ranked enemies. Utilizing them from angles behind them, he then commanded the blades the spiral like dancing flowers in the wind. Even if the daemon were faster, they wouldn't be able to avoid an attack from four different directions bursting on each of them--one after the other. He left the Grand minions for Zaven, but those that he sought to attack would likely be ripped the shreds. The fire mage aimed to utterly destroy those before him. If they got even within a few meters of him, they would certainly most regret it. This entire time his Berserker's Rage had begun to grow, each passing moment his veins pulsating with magical strength and ferocity. [break][break] Brows narrowed in determination, his anger-filled eyes were focused out in the distance. He could not sense him, but he knew Sven was out there watching them from afar. Just because the past weighs heavy on me doesn't mean I'll fall for a stupid trick like that. All you're doing is pissing me off. When I make my way to you--and I will, you will be nothing but a bloodied pulp of cowardice and flesh. Taking a deep breath, he nodded to his Golden Dawn compatriot. If his attacks worked, he'd draw the four swords in front of him, holding down the front line from any would-be attackers. You got it, old friend. Take care of the others. You've got enough Sensory to help them out. I'll be the perimeter guard. Nothing is going to get past my swords or my ki. That much I can assure you. With a devilish smirk, he gave a thumbs up to Zave. [break][break] Even though he seemed confident enough, he had to admit the Daemon's words slightly pierced a strong barrier around his heart. While he was nowhere near broken, nor did he ever intend to be, he was wary. The younger mages did not have as much experience, and he was the Crimson Lion Captain after all--tenacity was his brand. What did Sven have in store for them? He did not know, but he did know that his primary focus was to find that Daemon and kill him. Coming hot off of killing another Arch-Daemon had brazened him a bit, but when was he ever anything but that?
[attr="class","lillytext"] Lillith was able to hear as the black bulls vice captain spoke about how Sven told her to check out and where the ice mage use to grow up before asking if she could take someone else and split off from the group. While she was a vice captain which meant she was strong in her own right Lilly felt that her question was crazy like doing exactly what the demaon asked wasn't a great idea after all he was know as a trickster not to mention splitting the group up agiasnt this kind of foe didn't seem like it would turn out the best. The purple orca mage while not asked herself would give her own opinion on the matter. So I know I wasn't asked but I think it's a bad idea and would be playing right into the demaons hands but the choice is of course up to the two captains. Lillith managed to take out two of the mana beast heading towards her team but something didn't feel right the creams and cries weren't something that any mana beast the gemstone mage had fought before. Not to mention the smell of burning flesh. This of course could all be a trick after all this deamon was known of that kind of thing was he not? [break][break] Speaking of Sven he would speak to Lillith in her head again saying that he only had a king and queen for his chess pieces. You say that you only have a king and a queen. Then what does that make what we are fighting now? Are you saying you don't even see them as pawns? The deamon seemed to talk to the group as a whole however Lilly didn't really understand what he was getting at. After all her mind was focused on the problem ahead of her. She managed to come up with a plan and while it wasn't the most ideal plan it was the best move they could make with what she felt they knew at this point. [break][break] She would use her comms spell so that everyone was able to hear her she of course knew Sven was more than likely hear her. I think we should knock out the mana beast while I can't see past an illsuion if one is being used or not. I have a feeling that these mana beast aren't really mana beast. Lillith wasn't sure if the others would give her plan a shot however she'd do so herself after all she wasn't ordered to kill them just take them out. The gemstone mage would then aim to knock out the final two mana beast heading towards her and the two juniors by hitting the mana beast with the flat of her blades.
