Which time was anyone in the Black Bulls going to mention how you needed to do missions to get stars and be able to meet requirements to become a vice-captain and Captain of a squad? Cause honestly Chisana was under the impression that you could just simply spend your whole life doing Dungeons and gain the fame and power needed to become a Vice-captain or Captain. After doing some digging while he was planning for his future Chisana discovered that he was severely lacking in the missions completed department and that it would hinder his ability to progress farther in the squad and since his focus is to eventually become the Captain of the Black Bulls no matter how long it took him it was a problem that he needed to fix quickly. Quickly, Chisana ran down to the request bored and grabbed the first one he saw. He decided that he would read it after he gathered his things, once he had packed his gear and was ready to leave he looked at what he grabbed. It seemed that there was an issue with some squirrels. “Squirrels, you got to be kidding me?” This request baffled Chisana, what kind of squirrels were these? Mutant mana infected squirrels the size of wolves or something? “Alright, whatever lets just get to the client and see what this is really about.” Chisana quickly made his way to the residential Spatial mage in the Black Bull base and had them transport them to Kikka, where the client was located.[break][break]
Upon arrival he made his way through the damaged town of Kikka, there was much that had happened to this place in the last year. Some say there were Daemons in the area and others just called the town of great misfortune and considering they were having a squirrel problem maybe that nickname was true. “Who on earth has a Squirrel problem? Rats I understand they are rats.” Chisana mumbled as he got closer though the more he thought about it squirrels were just rats that lived in the trees. Once he arrived at the designation stated on the request he noticed a vendor that was selling a variety of nuts. “Oh come on.” Chisana said to himself, “Well at least that makes more sense, kind of.” Approaching the vendor Chisana looked at the middle-aged man. He looked healthy and seemed like his business was quite popular though he did seem a bit fidgety, “Excuse me I am here to help with a squirrel problem?” The man’s expression seemed to glow upon hearing those words, “Oh thank god, finally someone will rid me of these pesky and relentless rodents.” The man waved Chisana closer. [break][break]
“You can call me Henry; I sell an assortment of nuts and nut-based products. Lately I have seemed to have gained the attention of some rather resourceful and obnoxious squirrels. Now I am sure you wish to laugh and joke but these creatures are smarter then your normal squirrel and no matter what trap or trick I try to use they always manage to snatch some of my product and always during the most active part of the day making me seem the fool and laughing stock of the town.” Henry was visibly upset recounting these events, Chisana on the other hand was only slightly paying attention because he was trying his best not to laugh at the man since he could see that this was visibly stressing and draining Henry.[break][break]
“It is a group of 5 maybe 6 of them. I know they have some kind of leader he is bigger than the others and tends to hide out in a high place like he is watching and learning how to adapt to whatever I come up with. It’s insane and frankly I can’t stand it anymore so please help me get rid of these vermin and gain a peace of mind once more.” Henry finally finished his explanation and looked at the young Shengxiao. “Don’t worry sir, I will take care of the critters and you will be free of worry when it comes to selling your product.” Chisana assured Henry as he turned around and departed the area mainly to let out the laughter, he had been holding in but to also look over the area. Chisana realized that the best way to deal with this was to wait till the time the creatures tended to appear and catch them in the act and deal with them then. He doubted he would be able to find them otherwise due to them being wild and crafty animals that lived in the nearby forest, why search for the needle in the hay stack when the needle would come to you. [break][break]
Once some time had past Chisana was ready for his plan, he had used 2 of his Golem spells, Serpent and Bird, Summoning 5 of each for a total of 10 Golems. He made sure to pair them with one another and have them await his orders to act. He knew that if they weren’t suspicious the squirrels would just act as normal and he would be able to ambush them as they came. Deciding to go ahead and go above and beyond he also Casted Snake’s veil which hid him from sight and from being heard of those effected in the 50m of his spell. After waiting for some time the crowd of customers flocked the market and as he waited Chisana sensed 5 mana signatures quickly approaching the vendor, once he gained sight of the quickly moving critters he had his golems ready to attack. He waited till he found the leader of the group who had, just as Henry stated chose a place of high elevation on a three-story building overlooking the market. Now that he knew where they all were, he unleashed his golems upon the squirrels making sure to have 1 serpent and 1 bird golem attack the leader. The rest of the golems attacked the others and while some of the squirrels tried to escape from noticing the shadows of the golems they weren't able to beat the speed of the golems and It ended up being a quick event and besides some screaming from the citizens thinking birds were attacking them with snakes the fight was quickly resolved. Only the leader gave any real trouble as he was on a higher position then the others and tried to escape the golems that were chasing him, while the effort was impressive the golems were faster then the squirrel and with the guidance of Chisana following the leaders mana signature that all living things had the chase came to end. Chisana brushed himself off and released his spells.[break][break]
“Well Sir, your rodent problem is taken care of.” Chisana said as he showed Henry the dead critters, “I will be taking my leave I wish you the best.” Chisana said as he waved behind him only hearing the distant thanks from the nut vendor.[break][break]

Approved! You've earned 590 Gold and 3 Black Stars. I'd list the reason for the black stars here, but given we talked about it on Discord, I don't think it necessary. However, I should probably do so, so there's some sort of record on site. In addition, if another staff member feels this grading is either too harsh, or goes against how grading should be done, they are more than welcome to overturn this decision.
I'm looking at it from the perspective of a bystander. There was no warning given to the crowd prior to this. I understand that due to the way you did this thread, risking announcing that it was going to happen might have ICly caused you further complications, but that doesn't change the fact. No order to back up. It was during a busy part of the day, where there were tons of people. Kikka is also probably one of the most populated towns due to its physical position in the common realm. It's very easy to imagine the squirrels being in really bad shape, and there are children around. A child could have easily tried running up into the scene and getting hurt, too.
Still, if it was written in a way where you could have announced the action before doing it given these circumstances, I wouldn't have felt the need to give Black Stars. That said, you're probably now one of my favorite writers on site, between Chisana and Arjuna. I really like your style, and I hope to be able to read more of your threads, even if I'm not grading them.
