Aries Garse wasn't a location Bengal had spent a ton of time. He'd worked with a few rogues during his time, and had even nearly been labeled a criminal at one point until the Knights had vouched for him. The concept of laws was something often lost on him. But that didn't mean he wasn't opposed to the general chaos and loss of life that seemed to consistently plague the city. He knew full well that not everyone in the town was a criminal.
Nor did he truly care if some were. People were people. Jobs were jobs. Survival was survival. Today, the White Tiger was here for a job just like that. Many viewed him as 'above' such menial jobs, but that had never been true. Bengal had never cared about the risk, rank, status or names of the jobs he took. Whatever he did he put his all in, and he got paid for it that would slowly go toward the yul he was saving to give his clan their own land once more.
Now, the White Tiger, known by basically anyone that looked at him as someone comparable in power to most Magic Knight Captains, stood at the entrance to Aries Garse with a frown. Standing at well over six feet, rippling with muscle that set him far aside from most mages he stood at the entrance in black and brown leathers lined with white fur. A ring adorning his finger thrummed with warmth, crafted of obsidian with veins of what appeared to be magma flowing through it. A long fused spine, polished to a shine hung at his right hip. A grimoire set in a holster, crafted from leather and plated with bone rested at his left hip.
Bengal's brows had risen up his forehead in confusion and surprise. The entire town was... covered in snow. He'd noticed it on the way here, but the snow had been a foot at most on the road here. But now he was looking at three foot outside the town, all the way to ten, twenty, thirty in some areas feet of snow. Rubbing the back of his neck he hummed deep in his chest as feline-like grey eyes examined the buildings quickly.
"Guess the job wasn't kidding. These people are pretty fucked, even with everyday magic," as he mused this, the grimoire of bone and leather floated up from its holster. Glowing a dim silver light as its pages began to slowly turn. He'd need golems if he was going to clear this much of the town quickly and effeciently.
"What a fuckin' mess..."

Aries Garse...it was an area quite well known for its fancy nightlife, her father's tales of the place did no justice in making her want to go to the rather seedy area. It was also quite well known as a place where gambling was quite the profit or in some soul's case, misfortune and awaiting debt. It was how one tossed the dice, as well as overall cunningness that determined one's fate in a game of chance. Not that she of course ever better in her life beforehand.
With that said it's not like Viera herself was judging those who did choose to gamble, she just knew that it really wasn't a game of chance and that the game itself required real skill, and someone with inferior skill just happened to be the prime target. Why did Magic Knights have to ask like it was a complete crime? Perhaps she wasn't as noble as she thought she was.
The carriage started to approach the area of her destination, but something was very wrong. While the way to the city had been covered in snow the town itself seemed to have been blanketed with the flaky substance, so much more than the road had and it was clearly sticking out like a sore thumb with how unnatural it was. "Halt the carriage please." Viera asked the carriage driver as the approaching snow was too deep for the horses to keep moving through. Once she got out of the carriage Viera would pay the fee for her ride, pulling her broom out of the carriage as she stepped onto it while it was vertically standing, her magic power lifting it into the air as she loomed over the city right outside its walls. "Oh my.. this is bad.."
Viera was looking down at the city, she could only see half of it while outside but now that she was above she could see the snow was much more than she previously thought, some snow stacks so high that it was completely blocking the entrance and exits for civilians homes, disabling anyone from leaving or anyone helping, it was snowy chaos. Clearly out of her depth she began to float back down and it was obvious she needed help if she wanted to help the town. Her grimoire rose from the sleeve it was in opening up as Viera took out her drawing scrapbook and writing brush, with a quick dip in black ink Viera began to sense the area around her with her mana, her brush beginning to stroke the page of her notebook at the same time as she drew what she saw in her mind eye onto the paper. When it was finally done Viera tore the paper out and threw it in front of her on the ground as a holographic image of the area as well as any magic signatures she could detect showed themselves on the map.
You will be able to use spells with less mana than others when it comes to casting spells! Description: By activating her scribble magic Viera begins to draw the area around her in her drawing scrapbook with her writing brush dipped in a black in she carries in her blue scarf. Once she draws the area she was scanning the tears the pieces of paper out of her scrapbook, the pieces of paper used begins to float in the air creating a holographic image of the area about 10 cubic meters in size, the area is represented in basic shapes and colors to separate land from water, and having black dots represent mana signatures varying from small to large depending on the person's magic presence.

It was the that wonderful time of year where everything got colder than a devil's heart and Chisana loved it. The lack of noise in that seemed to be sacred as the snow fell and the world seemed to be blanketed in a pure white sheet of powder always seemed to scratch that itch in the back of Chisana's mind every year. Though this also brought along a case of anxiety and worry for those who knew how dangerous the snow could be if it was allowed to pile up, which has seemed to be the case in this situation. Normally most towns take measures to keep the snow from piling up so much that it becomes a safety risk, after all it was every year you heard about someone who got trapped in their homes by the snow or that a pile of snow collapsed onto some kids that thought it would be a great idea to dig through it to make a hideout. Granted that exact event was actually pretty fun and rewarding if done right but that was a memory for another time that didn’t involve making sure people weren’t dying.
The request had stated that the town had been buried in snow and Chisana had thought it was more of an exaggeration then fact but as he grew closer to the town the snow seemed to continue to climb in height, with most buildings the farther you looked completely covered in their entirety. “Well shit, I guess we will need a small army to get that taken care of.” Chisana said to no one in particular as he left the carriage that had been provided for transport. He noticed that there were another 2 people also there staring at the town with the look of “dang that’s a lot of work” so he assumed they were here to help out like he was. As he grew closer to the individuals, he noticed that one looked to be the White Wolf, a mage who was quite well known for his magic of Beast aura and Golems, Chisana was excited to have him here cause that kind of power would be greatly needed to clear out all this snow especially if they combined their golems numbers.
Looking over at the other person there it seemed to be a woman from the Crimson lions, he seemed to be having quite a bit of interactions with that squad lately Chisana thought to himself. She seemed to have casted some kind of map spell. That would be useful on figuring out which places actually needed their attention first so that was quick thinking on the woman’s part. Once he got close enough Chisana called out to the others, “Hello, I’m Chisana Shengxiao, I assume we are all here to help un-snow this town?”

Bengal felt the ki of two others, one that had floated up into the sky and another that approached from behind. His head tilting slightly in contemplation, both were wearing Magic Knight mantles. A lion and a bull, hm? His last interaction with the bulls had gone well enough, Charles was a decent man. Every lion he'd met thus far was someone that he got along with as well. The grimoire continued to crackle with static electricity, flipping through pages when the young man, Chisana he introduced himself as, inquired on helping out the town with its issues.
Bengal nodded his head once in agreement, offering a hand while the book continued to flip from one page to the next. Raising his voice a bit so the lion that was nearby could hear him as well. The deep, gravelly tone filling the air more akin to a beast's growl than a man's voice.
"I'm Bengal, nice to meet you Chisana, and you, miss," he glanced toward the unnamed lion that was casting a detection spell by the looks of it. Around this point, the static electricity suddenly snapped. Forming into flowing blue flames instead that spread across the ground around him before shooting out in various directions. Suddenly five large bobcat-sized creatures of solid blue whirling flames spread out around the entrance of the town. The hiss of the snow already beginning to melt near them filling the air as steam began to flow from them.
From there four larger creatures all around the size of large tigers with large manes and canine-like features swirled into being. Three large creatures that were even larger than Clydesdale horses towering next to Bengal with crackling flames, and finally two massive firey beasts standing as tall as several of the buildings. Massive burning creatures mixed of hybrid canine and feline traits with two large bull horns adorning its skull. Steam suddenly burst around them all, flooding the air as he lifted a hand pointing toward the town.
"Clear the snow. Melt it, move it. Locate those with mana and save any that are trapped. Work alongside the Knights and other civilians. Harm no one." The orders were firm as the cats all nodded, before moving off. Circling the entire town and beginning to get to work. The massive horned beasts slamming into the mountains of snow and beginning to act as large boiling hot bulldozers against the frost.
The smaller cats began to meow and circle, focusing on recon and melting the snow around the pathways between the town's buildings and homes. The medium-sized creatures starting on the back alleyways and rear doors. Rubbing the back of his neck and maintaining his concentration on the abundance of golems Bengal turned back toward his allies and offered a smile.
"The job said ten people but it'd be stupid not to save the entire town, no? A pleasure to work with you both. The golems will handle the big jobs, so let's focus on the homes and front doors. Once proper tunnels out of the buildings are set, we can start clearing the rest of the snow that's just in the way. Sound good?" Bengal glanced between them both, their ki was fairly sharp. It seemed the young lady was a sensor. He scratched his chin, whistling softly.
Instantly the five small cats' ears twitched, heads turning toward him as he addressed Viera. "Would you mind directing these for me? I'll tell them to listen to you, and with your sensory abilities, they should be much more useful. I can only detect life force." He chuckled softly, before looking toward the man. "That way we can focus on the manual labor side of things." A grin split his lips, flames starting to crackle around his body as the grimoire spun once more through the dozens of spell pages in search of the next one he wished to use.

Scanning her map she would take immediate notice of how much smaller the civilians magic was, their dots being much smaller than her own and she herself was considered to have low magic, at least as far as she knew that's what her rank in the magic knights meant right? Junior 5th rank being the weakest magic knight title, or was that because she was new? Possibly both? In either case she let the thought go as she noticed a man much older than her that had an almost animal like demeanor to him, as well as another men that was rather more groomed almost cute in appearance.
Her eyes went back to the map in front of her, their was so many trapped and the amount of snow was immense, how were just three of them suppose to clear the whole area? The mission stated they were just to save people but it was impossible unless they could clear out all the snow, was more back up coming? Viera eyes shifted towards the guy who looked like he lived in the jungle, noticing that he didn't have a mental on. Was this guy just a civilian? Viera turned back to her map and the dot representing him was..in the most clear words, immense. The other guy was bigger than hers as well but for a civilian to have one..if she was a lesser noble she would call heresy.
The male from the Black Bulls squad would introduce himself first, then the older male citizen and the name rang a bell. Bengal..Ben-gal..Bengal.. Viera gasped as she recalled the name, in the noble city their was talk about a civilian that went by the name White Tiger, famous for being rather comparable in power to captains and vice captains as well as a frequent dungeon visitor. His name was Bengal, no wonder this guy had quite the magical presence. "N-nice to meet you. I'm Viera Dares.. and yes I was, let's work hard to get the town un-snowed." From there Viera would watch in stunned silence, what she assumed was Bengal grimoire flipped pages before creatures of fire began to form, the detail of the creatures and their features was something she would have though she would never see unless she was in one of those dungeons she heard about, and she felt like if she had ever crossed one she would die, easily.
Bengal gave his creations simple instructions before the larger creatures ran off, their size and heat they emanated melting the snow with each step, it seemed Viera didn't have to worry much about having to get through too much snow. As small, medium, and large creatures began to work on the snow Bengal turned his head towards her and the black bull member Chisana with a smile. "Well I was worried about if we could even save the required amount.." Viera looked at how much snow was being melted already and then turned back with a half smile full of both happiness and pure shock, "But if were getting rid of the snow this fast then yes, it would definitely be silly if we just didn't save the whole town.." Viera couldn't really believe the words out of her mouth, this was already far crazier then she imagined this would be.
A plan was formulated, she had never dealt with something as large scale as this so of course she immediately agreed to the plan since it sounded good while it was being said, or maybe she was just treating him as a captain or vice captain mentally and just going along with orders? Either way if it meant the city was going to be saved it didn't matter to her which. Noticing he was looking at her she looked up meeting his gaze before he whistled, a small group of his cat like creations moving to the sound of his whistle. "Y-Yes of course! I'll do my very best to save as many as I can!" Viera said unconsciously giving the three finger salute of the Clover Kingdom. "Please follow me!" Viera said looking down at Bengal creations as she got on her broom and began flying just above the snow as she used the map as well as her raw senses to guide her to the first civilian that she could help save with Bengal spell assistance. As soon as she encountered large amounts of snow she would immediately pull out her blank ink, writing brush stroking the drawing scrapbook as she drew and elongated claw sharpened and drown to a pointed tip, turfs of fur resembling a lions, as she finished her drawing her grimoire opened as she ripped the page out and it began to float in front of her, the drawing expanding out of the page as a enlarged claw struck at the snow clawing it away to clear the way for her.

“There we go, that’s a game plan I can get behind.” Chisana said as he watched the fire brought to life golems form and begin their tasks as given by Bengal. As a fellow Golem user, it was a sight to behold seeing a high ranked mage using Golems, it really let Chisana see what he had to look forward too when it came to using the specialization. Everyday it seemed that Chisana was seeing what the top of the mountain looked like especially since joining the Black Bulls. [break][break]
Deciding it would be best to just go head and add to the growing army of golems that was going around using the heat from their fire to melt the snow and make pathways through the town, Chisana would use his own spells to summon his golems to help refine the paths and slowly move the citizens that could be saved safely. Using his spells, he summoned his own rag tag group of golems. They were all of similar emerald color and ghostly appearance due to the nature of Pure Aura, 5 Serpents slithered after the fire-based golems moving snow from the paths, the group of 5 Humanoid Man golems followed another group expanding the pathways even more while the group of 5 Bird like golems went to whatever houses that had safe passages for any citizens to help with keeping track of who could be saved already. The next group of golems that Chisana had summoned were an even bigger in size Basilisk of 3 that used its size to finish most of the paths through the city, by now most of the snow had been cleared and put in banks on the outskirts of the city due to the ease of movement with the golems. [break][break]
With such a small group of mages the task had looked to be near impossible but now the situation had turned quickly, with the number of golems that were moving throughout the town clearing snow, forming safe passageways and finding Citizens that could be moved things were going quite smoothly especially with the help of the Crimson lion and her map that showed where everyone was. Chisana smiled as he strolled around the town escorting those who needed the help out of their homes and helping with any injuries that might have been sustained due to the snow prior to the mages showing up. Just moving along to the homes that his Bird golems marked he had “saved” 6 citizens, there were quite a lot more throughout the town, but he was sure that by the time the golems were done with their tasks that no one would be in danger of being snowed in anymore. "A pleasure, Viera," Bengal grinned slightly, amused at the kid's jumpiness. Seems that she was a greenhorn by her reactions and spells, but that was fine. Part of being more experienced was helping those with less power find ways to be useful--and there was always something useful to be done. As the golems continued their work, he arched a brow as she explained she'd been worried about saving even a small amount.
A chuckle passed his lips. "Even without my help, it could be done." He advised simply, shifting his gaze back toward the town as he mentally issued orders for the golems to work alongside the ones that Chisana added to the fray. Lifting a hand as the grimoire continued to rapidly flip pages before flames suddenly erupted across his own body, Chisana's, and Viera as she hopped on her broom.
"That'll keep you both warm, as well as heal your mana skin if it suffers from any frostbite," he advised them both simply before shifting his gaze toward the town itself. The 'salute' that Viera offered him caused Bengal to release a deep, rumbling laugh.
"I'm not part of your organization, Viera. You're welcome to be casual with me, just consider my words from an experienced mercenary, nothing more." Bengal could appreciate being respected, but he'd never intended to be some figure that needed to be saluted. True when the Akemu were finished being formed for his home he'd be a military leader. But for now, he was just a mercenary, and even when he formed the military units other countries military shouldn't be saluting him.
Amused, he watched the girl fly off as Chisana exclaimed his approval of the plan. Nodding his head once before cracking his neck and suddenly flickering into the town, closing his eyes as he ran. Relying on his ki to begin bouncing from one building to the next, focusing on the ki to cast his spells as dozens of citizens were suddenly engulfed in flames.
The warmth of the fire wrapped around him, blue flames identical to what Bengal had cloaked Chisana and Viera in mending the damage from frostbite, warming the citizens, and making the actual evacuation of each far more efficient. When one exited the home to the mid-cleared roads, Bengal shifted the spell to the next target instead. Steadily spreading his magic to ensure that the energy was able to support and heal any citizens in a critical state.
Chisana and Viera were both doing excellently. He could leave the actual rescue to them and his golems, so he focused on healing those that were suffering from frostbite, clearing the snow, and making safe zones. Halting with a flicker near a fallen house Bengal grasped one of the massive fallen beams. He felt the ki within, a small family likely. Massive muscles bulged as his pupils expanded, heels digging into the snow before he lifted the massive beam. Supporting the entire side of the building with one arm while the other lifted.
Flames wrapping around the citizens, causing short screams of surprise before they realized the flames were harmless. Warming them, reinvigorating them, and healing the damage from the cold that their bodies had suffered.
"Toward the center of town you lot," Bengal stated with a grin, watching them exit before dropping the wall. Moving on to the next building that had partially caved in due to the tremendous weight of the snow on the simple old roofing.
Between the golems, and the trio's own actions, they were rapidly rescuing, healing, and supporting the citizen's escapes. But more than that, the snow was rapidly disappearing from the town as it was shoved away, melted, and turned to steam that filled the air. Warming the area at the same time.

Is he serious? even without him they could've of done it. Well..she got what he meant, after all Chisana was also using golems and although they took the appearance of ghastly looking snakes they were putting in quite a lot of work. If she was being freaked out by this level of work then she was going to have to consider another occupation or grow in strength so that another situation such as this one wouldn't phase her. Option two was of course the only option she was going to consider. Just then Viera almost screamed as her body lit in fire, a second delay happened before she realized she was on fire but no heat was present, in fact she felt warm but it was the comfortable and soothing type of warmth.
"M..Manaskin? Err nevermind. Thanks Mr. Bengal." She slipped and gave him the three finger salute, she was definitely sure she saw him on the same level as Captain Ardere. A deep rumble came from Bengal's direction before he immediately reminded her he was not part of the Magic Knights and to think of him as a senior paid mercenary hired for the job. "Right. I'll be off than Mr. Bengal" Viera said leading the feline fire cats that Bengal made to help her to one of the civilians on the map that was close by. By the time she got their the larger golems made by Chisana and Bengal himself had already cleared most of the road making her path to the house easy and even the snow was already quite melted through as one of the golems was working on it. Her Grimoire opened up as she took out her drawing sketchbook, quick strokes of her pen hit the paper as she etched out and elongated arm that curved into three thick paws, from the paws curved sharpened points functioning as the claw was drawn.
Tearing the page out but turning upside down the drawing would stretch out from the torn page, like how it was released the claw raked not downwards but upwards gathering a large pile of snow and throwing it upwards into the air, the tried to control the claw just right so that the snow piles would fall over the almost monstrous Bengal golems and melt from the intense heat. Once the snow leading to the civilians house was cleared Viera would knock on the door formally telling 1 trapped civilian that they were safe now as she would tell them which way to go for the evacuation site. Like Bengal said they were aiming to save the entire city but after searching a bit more she would regroup with Bengal and see if the situation had changed.
Viera couldn't control golems like Chisana and Bengal could but she tried to put in some work in clearing the snow, in the same way she cleared the snow of the house, the claw raked upwards lifting piles of snow that were aimed at the fiery golems, she would clear any left over snow that was left behind by the golems although she felt like she really didn't need to search anyway, those two had it pretty handled but she liked to think she was helping more than she was. A few minutes more she would find another house with 3 more civilians, a father and his two kids trapped behind a wall of snow, "Please escort the to the evacuation zone." Viera would ask the fiery cats that were with her, if they stilled listened to her that was. In either case once they got escorted properly Viera would return to Bengal sitting cross legged on her broom, "I think we cleared the immediate area. Are we going to keep going or call in some help to handle the rest of the situation? Viera lips curled, "Hey..now that I think about it...this snow clearly wasn't natural..can you guys detect anything..? Someone has to be clearly at work here right?" Viera looked around, the snow was cleared now but just a moment ago the situation spelled ugly for the entire area, if one person was capable of such a thing then they needed to be found and stopped before they put anyone at real risk..or worst.

The people of the snowed in town had been escorted to safety as the requirement had asked and they had cleared the vast majority of the snow in the area, unless another freak snowstorm came through this town would be fine for the rest of the season. It was quite strange at the amount of snow that had fallen in the area though. After all some of the snowbanks had been taller than the buildings in the town and while that wasn’t completely uncommon this year’s winter season had been mild compared to previous years so it raised a couple of flags in Chisana’s mind but he pushed it to the side and continued clearing paths through the town. After a while when he returned to the others it had seemed that they were pretty much done thanks to the combination of everyone’s help. The Crimson Lion kept saluting Bengal and it brought a smile to Chisana’s face, he could remember when he was as fresh as she was. [break][break]
It had only been a year and half since he had joined the Black bulls and here he was working alongside The White Tiger, he felt that he had come quite a ways since that fateful spar against his own captain. “Well I do believe we are finished.” Chisana would say as he got close the group and it seemed that Viera also had the same thoughts. “No I don’t think we will need back up for this, it’s pretty much taken care of.” Chisana would look back at the town, it had once been covered in snow but now you could see the roads and pathways through the town as the golems continued to work. “Yeah I was just thinking about that actually, this years winter has been mild but the amount of snow here is a bit much.” Chisana would say while agreeing with Viera’s thoughts on something possibly going on in the area. “Well we can figure that out if we looked around a bit more but I think a quick break would be best.” [break][break]

Bengal approached the center of town with the final family he'd rescued, doing a quick headcount of the town before waving a hand through the increasing steam. Glancing to the side as Viera suddenly appeared, commenting on the unprecedented amount of snow so focused in one spot. His lip twitched upward in slight amusement. Well she was certainly correct.
"I'm no sensory mage. My mana sense is dogshit. I can feel the ki of everyone nearby but this is beyond my means." His gaze shifted upward, and one of the largest beasts with horns looked toward him. Flames swirling around it before lifting its head up and sensing the area, focusing on all nearby. Suddenly the warning was given back to him, and Bengal shot his gaze toward the horizon to the far west.
<Golem 140 Sensory Used>
"Well shit. Guess we have some uninvited guests..." he murmured before waving a hand to the Golems. "Get the civilians evacuated to safe zones!" With these words the Golems suddenly split, rushing in various directions white the two largest stood at the front of the town facing toward the hordes of what appeared to be... snowmen? Charging the town. Bengal walked forward, cracking his neck.
"Now where's your boss, huh you lot?" he mused more to himself than anything.
