Bengal, Viera and Chisana had come to this town as a job. A simple job to clear snow. But upon arrival, it had been more than clear something much more dangerous had its eye on the town here. With the thick snow removed from the mixed efforts of the group, Bengal was now examining the large tidal wave of snowmen that had begun to swarm the town from all sides. Rubbing his neck with a slow breath he raised a hand, causing the golem's he'd created to scatter in every direction.
The small to medium beasts dashed along the walls and came to a halt at various points around the village. Each one snarling as blue flames lit up the edge of town, while dark clouds began to spill overhead. Thick snow beginning to fall once more over the town. Bengal brushed it off his shoulder, the two largest golems walking forward on either side of him to block the entire main entrance into town.
"Well, I suppose we all get to play in the snow today," Bengal stated idly back toward Chisana and Viera before his hand opened. Mana pulsed from the White Tiger as the blue flames that had wrapped around the pair redoubled in size. The world slowing around both of them, reinforcing their bodies to resist curses, heal the damage they sustained, and grant them significant strength. He had no idea if they were melee fighters, likely not.
But having such a fallback option was never a bad thing.
"I'll do my best to keep you both safe, but if things get bad retreat back to this point and support the Golems." Bengal instructed simply, before turning as his heels dug into the snow... and he launched forward. Disappearing due to the sudden increase of speed as he kicked up steam and snow, his bare hand extending and grasping the first snowman by the torso. Solid, more like ice than powder.
His hand clenched anyway, shattering it to powder and dust effortlessly with his bare hand as his other arm swiped outward. Sending wind bursting along the battlefield and scattering a dozen more of the creatures to the winds. Now standing in a large empty circle that had been full of the snowmen, but, there were plenty more to deal with.
Elements changed to fire via transformation magic. Ammo allows him to buff himself, Chisana and Viera with these spells. Momentum gives him +3m/s movement, and berserker gives him +Junior strength. Viera was told that her first mission this time around would be meant with a little difficulty as she would need to remove snowfall from around civilians homes, but this, this was not what she expected and in fact, was over her expectations of what she could guess would come at her. With the help of a mercenary comparable to her captain or vice-captain, Bengal as well as a Black Bull member named Chisana they were able to clear the roads of snow as well as evacuate the civilians to a safe spot, the mission called for ten people to be saved but with the abilities of her group they were able to save almost the entire village.
But Viera questioned the suspicious snowfall that was happening in the village and tried to figure it out with her two temporary comrades. Some ideas were exchanged but then Bengal started rubbing his neck and that's when Viera started to notice the town was surrounded. The snow they had just cleared was replaced by a mass number of snowmen that surrounded the village on all sides. "How..?" Viera questioned as she looked at the mass of snowmen. With a hand raised Bengal's creations started to move towards the walls surrounding the city, taking a position as they began to act kind of like lights as dark clouds swirled overhead darkening the sky while the snowfall began again.
Wiping the snow off of her Viera would find the situation rather annoying since they had just cleared the snowfall and now it was happening again, of course, that wasn't even the main issue as the snowmen began to loom closer to the village, whoever was doing this or whatever thing it was clear it had its sight set on the village and they were getting in the way of its plans, are they trying to get rid of them? "I liked the snow too, I hope whenever I look at real snow again I won't think of snowmen that are trying to kill me.." Her heart beat speed up as Bengal's hand gestured towards her, the flames that had been around her that he also gave her seemed to double in size, but that wasn't even the most amazing thing about how she felt right now, she felt...stronger...faster even. She knew this feeling well in words, her father being the type of mage with physical reinforcement magic, she wondered how her dad had felt when he used it and now she knew. She felt overall amazing, like she could do anything now.
"Got it!" Viera responded to Bengal as he told them he try to protect them and gave simple instructions to retreat if they got overwhelmed. He disappeared, like..literally disappeared. When she finally found him again he had all but launched himself right into one of the snowmen, he had it the grips of his hands before the creatures was crushed with a tightened grip, Viera was so impressed but at the same time she knew she also had to get moving. She took a moment to observe the snowmen, they had shovels and the way they moved seemed to be by leaping, they didn't look all that scary but the mass of them was what really posed a threat, although Viera couldn't say she could even handle one on her own.
Viera took a deep breath, she felt stronger and faster so she needed to test how fast. she did some simple movements, her hand in an open palm as she turned it sideways and swung it around, her hand was moving so damn fast she instantly knew it was no way it was her own natural speed, it must have been whatever Bengal was doing. She closed her hand into a fist and bended down punching the snow at full force making a sizeable dent in the floor that was partially blocked by snow. Assured of her own current strength and speed Viera felt confident enough to take the battle upfront and personally to the little snow monsters.
Starting with a slow walk Viera would walk to the entrance and then start sprinting towards one of the snowmen that was the closest to her, it was literally hoping at her and when it made it's way into the air as she got closed she would slow down waiting for it's decent back onto the ground. Inch's from landing, Viera would outright burst forward with all her speed closing the distance to the snowmen as she swung her arm across where coal was that was acting as the snowmen's eyes, with a quick swipe she would try gouging out it's eyes hoping to blind the creature before spinning on her pivot foot attempting a round house kick to knock it's head off and hopefully kill it outright.

Chisana was just in the middle of one of the theories of what could have caused the insanely large amount of snow that had descended upon the town that they had just cleared with Bengal and Viera but no sooner then they had finished that first task suddenly mana signatures seemed to pop up all around them. Chisana quickly looked in the direction they were coming from and of course the very snow they had moved was now being shaped into…Snowmen? Chisana was confused what good would making snowmen be? They had no legs and had what looked to be shovels as weapons. They weren’t intimidating and Chisana outright laughed at the thought of being hunted down by creatures made of literal snow. “I know this looks so serious but it’s literally evil frosty the snowman and his legion of doom coming to attack us.” Chisana sound out loud to the rest of his group but when he turned around they were already busy demolishing the icy creatures. “Geez of course no one hears my funny quips.” Chisana felt the flames from early grow stronger and the sense of empowerment filled his body.
This reminded the young Shengxiao of the times he trained with Lydia and Malcolm both strong users of Physical Reinforcement magic. It was quite enjoyable to be able to move faster and hit harder when someone else was paying for the cost. Thanks to his prior training with such magic enhancements before he was much more accustom to it, he knew he could simply run around and destroy the various creatures with his bare hands but he decided to bring his golems into the mix so that more destruction would be brought upon the very foolish creatures. Using his strongest spells he Summoned 3 basilisks, 3 Falcons, and 3 Soldier Golems that stood all at 6 meters in height and sent them forth to destroy as many of the snowmen as they could. While he took this chance to find a place of higher vantage and look around the area to get a better look at the enemies movements. Once he was where he wanted to be he noticed that they were quite literally coming from a complete circle around the town just forming from the piled up snow, he wasn’t able to directly sense where or whatever was causing this strange occurrence was at. So having no luck with finding the source of the problem he decided to come back down to ground level and bring things back to the basics on taking care of an issue. “Sometimes the easiest way to finish a job is to simply use your hands.” Chisana said to no one in particular and smacked his hands together, he dashed straight into a group of snowmen and punched the closest one instantly destroying it with ease. Quickly he swung his right foot around and kicked the head off another snowman, the fragileness of the snowmen made their destruction even more satisfying.
Chisana was starting to realize why some people during winter decided to make these things only to shortly after destroy them themselves, it was like living out a power fantasy without having to work towards said power. After all what was a lump of snow going to do to you? Chisana had a smile on his face as he continued his rampage through the legion of snowmen and in his mind he pictured them wearing fearful expressions but unable to fight against whoever or whatever was controlling them, making them continue their unwilling advance and attack on the small group.

What Bengal was truly confused on was the proper source of these things. There were far too many of them for it to be a simple outbreak of mana beasts. It had to be affected by a Mana Zone of some sort, or perhaps another escaped Dungeon Boss. A powerful golem mage could create this many of the snowmen as well considering how weak they were, however. His own golems could reach such numbers if he cared enough to try, but it was such a waste of mana to pour into such flimsy creations. What was the point in creating an army if each ones quality was such a low level?
Straightening in the center of the massive hole he'd carved out of the snowmen, he glanced back briefly at the other two that had dived in and engaged the snowmen as well. Rumbling his chest with laughter. It seemed they were both enjoying his magic, that was good. Chisana appeared to be fairly well used to manipulating and controlling his mana and body at such an accelerated level. The greenhorn, Viera, was doing quite well considering how new to battle and her job she appeared to be. Controlling such an intense level of speed and power could be... overly stimulating. Overwhelming to many.
She was taking it slow, measuring her new speed and being careful not to push herself too far and stumble. That alone was quite impressive. Her ability to adapt and utilize the magic she had no familiarity with, even partially, was an excellent note for her growth. If she kept up that level of control soon she'd begin acclimating even further and improve on a passive level of mana control as well. Grunting, satisfied that his two charges were safe, Bengal focused on his actual goal. To drag out the creator of these things, kicking and screaming. Bengal's muscles bulged before the flames roared around his body.
"If you don't want to show yourself, I'll just force you to come out by burning all your fuckin' mana out, you amateaur," He stated with a wild grin, before his wide chest expanded. Taking in a deep breath and then screaming out his provocation.
"WORTHLESS!"
The word resounded on the air, amplified by his mana to flood the air and echo across the entire forest. In the same moment the flames erupted around Bengal, roaring upward in streams of flame that solidified above his head as he viewed the massive amount of snowmen pouring in from the forest. In retaliation, his hands slammed forward and the raging inferno blasted forward into the sky. Streaks of flames rushing from above as blue beams shot across the entire battlefield before the town. Entire swaths of snowmen instantly turning to mist as all reinforcements were completely cut off from the town.
Only the few dozen that had been near the town that Chisana and Viera were dealing with remained as Bengal straightened, watching the flames continue to rain from the sky. Decimating every new snowman that formed as his head tilted to the side. Despite his yell, Bengal wasn't actually trying to show off in some arrogant fashion. No. He just wanted a reaction. Piss off the 'boss'. Make them show themselves in a show of power, it was usually a pretty effective technique.
Elements changed to fire via transformation magic. Maintaining the same spells, -45 mana. Momentum gives him +3m/s movement, and berserker gives him +Junior strength. Bengal destroyed probably dozens or hundreds of snowmen, however many we're saying are pouring outa the forest idk using his storm spell. Also Apex is capped now so uh. +15 power.
Name of Spell: Raijin's Storm: Moderate Elemental Type: Lightning Rank & Spell Type: Senior (Attack Creation + Hex & Curse) Range & Speed: 65m AoE & 50m/s Mana Cost: 30 & 15/Post Stats Affected: Mana, Control Applicable Perks: Apex Predator, Malicious Mage, Quick Shot, Area of Triumph Description: Bengal forms electrical currents that swirl before he unleashes an explosion of lightning, summoning a magic that manifests itself into a thick storm full of swirling curses and electricity. This causes a curse to fall over the entire range of the spell, causing the curse to target everything in the range with the [Blinded] effect following the standard stat difference requirements, and debuff their mana regeneration by [10] per post. Atop this, the storm begins to rain bolts of lightning from the sky [Ammo] that deal [Senior] damage to anything they hit within range of the clouds.
With the empowerment of Bengal's spell coursing through her body Viera decided to take a more personal approach with defeating the army of snowmen that were surrounding the town. Seeing Bengal easily shatter one with a mere muscle twitch made her want to do so leading her to rush towards one as she swept her arm across in an open palm her hand attempting to make a karate chop motion to gouge out its eyes and the move was a bit more than what Viera expected, her hand easily pushing through the snow as her karate chop separated a small part of a snowman's head from the rest of its body, her hand easily pushing out the coal that functioned as eyes as her hand made it fly off somewhere in the distance. It was virtually effortless.
Viera of course kept up with her plan, swiveling around into a roundhouse kick at the head, her kick easily kicking the snowman head up into a flurry of snow before it became a plop of snow on the ground. Viera took a deep breath, her heart was racing yet she still felt like she wasn't really going at full power with this spell, she closed her eyes for a moment and focused her sights on the mana around her, she could feel her mana circulating inside her but yet a foreign mana signature was within her, no it wasn't quite foreign it was probably Bengal mana along with hers, but she could feel that her mana was resisting the surge of mana that was flowing within her causing a sort of blockage.
Was this why she felt like she wasn't accessing her full current power? Because she herself was blocking it from fully affecting her? Well, she needed it's power right now so she could actually be useful this time around and help save the town. Keeping her eyes closed she would use her magical power to lift her writer brush into the air as it dipped into black ink and began stroking into her drawing notebook, Viera was using her magic to draw a large portion of the battlefield around her as well as the snowmen, Bengal and Christana. Once the drawing was finished it tore itself from her notebook and floated towards her head sticking to it as it made contact. Instantly the area showed up within her mind allowing her to see where everyone was without actually having her eyes open to see it.
With a way to locate the snowmen and still be able to tell ally from foe, Viera kept her eyes closed still as she focused on trying to harmonize her mana with Bengal's foreign mana. Each movement forward was occupied with a slow deep breath and a slow exhale as she tried to relax her body while imagining her mana and Bengal's mana swirling around each other in a perfect spiral within her body. Ever moving forward Viera was about to come into contact with one of the snowmen based on her map in her mind. Using her memory of the body of the snowman she would leap upwards, the height of her leap reaching about where she remembered the connection of the head to the body was swirling around as she released a side kick knocking it's head clean off, as the body fell she leaped over it and kicked off it's body right before it fell apart dashing towards a group of three snowman within close proximity of each other. Remembering they had shovels Viera ran up to the snowmen left of the trio, making another karate chop as she swung at the location of one of it's arms severing it before grabbing the other end of the shovel it had and ripped it away from the snowmen's grip leaping into the air and used the bottom of it to slam it down on the snowman head crushing it, immediately she throw the shovel in a curving motion so it would decapitate the other two snowmen.
She was trying to adapt and she felt a bit more power welling into her. Continuing her deep inhale and slow exhale she dashed towards another snowmen, her arm launching forward like a snake gripping it's head and ripping it off, turning towards another snowmen mana signature and throwing the head like a projectile towards that one aiming for the dissembled head to puncture through the chest of another. Viera opened her eyes again, she looked back to see that she had destroyed quite a few snowmen(7) Her eyes glanced around to see that Christana and Bengal both had golems at work protecting the town and attacking the snowmen while they too were fighting upfront and personal. Viera though they both were pretty amazing, she wondered if she could learn golems but Bengals magic coursing through her was also cool..she would have to really thick about what she wanted to learn down the line.
But for now their were still more snowmen and she had a lot more mana to spare, it wasn't time to fall back for yet! With another deep breath with her eyes open Viera began to run towards more snowmen nearby.

Chisana was experiencing the thrill of being able to fight at a level that was much higher then his typical ability. He was lucky he had some prior experience with this kind of thrill but even for someone who had been thrown through the ringer with people who carried boulders for a warm up and ran faster then most could think it was still another thing to have to deal with that power yourself. Every movement was a task in control and precision he was constantly tweaking his actions as he landed, reacted, anticipated every second the fight went on. As someone that loved to grow stronger as fast as possible he had a solid base on how to go about making someone else’s experience his own and this situation wasn’t any different to any of his other training sessions. He controlled his breath to not get winded as he brought down his snow made enemies, Chisana watched his strength to not over extend himself and continued to refine his personal fighting style he was slowly turning this extra strength into his own. Nothing would stimulate someone’s growth in any subject more then being tossed into that field in full sink or swim situation and with the pretty much literal army of seemingly never ending snowmen this was pretty close to what he was experiencing.
Chisana wore a bloodthirsty smile that allowed anyone who saw him to know he was someone one that truly loved the battlefield whether that was a good thing that would be something for those in the future to deal with. For now Chisana was just doing what he could be move faster, hit harder and slowly drive out all the useless movements from his exchanges. It was like watching an uncut gem slowly being polished closer to the state of perfection, Chisana wished that his Captain could see him applying his training in real life battle against so many foes. He was sure that Captain Malcolm would have jumped into the thick of the enemies and gave him grief for being so slow and clumsy. That was something that made him think that Captain and Bengal had a quite a bit in common even their animalistic vibe seemed similar, he filed that note away to ask Bengal about his magic. For once Chisana wasn’t even thinking about his comrades in this fight he was having, he was simply allowing himself to do what was needed to cut down the enemy around him. He hadn’t lost himself to the fight but it was close enough that if he didn’t have any prior experience to this feeling he would be come close to those berserkers spoken about in ancient lore but he knew where his allies where but continued to push himself farther away from them to allow himself a much larger area of enemies to decimate and grow from. Nothing short of perfection was going to be allowed in the young Shengxiao’s actions. At some point Chisana would completely change up his fighting style from a traditional Chinese martial arts into a variety of throws and sweeps. He continued to changing his strikes and kicks every once in awhile.
It was like he was still trying to figure out what worked best for him and his current ability and skill, all the years of studying and training was cumulating into Chisana’s martial ability and mana control growing at an explosive rate. He was starting to realize how much damage each snowman needed to be defeated and reduced his effort to only use that much, his body started to realize how fast they moved and he kept just above that speed, he noticed how they saw a target and he adapted to the blind spots they made and created them but using their own weaknesses to his advantages. Every second Chisana was changing as a fighter, by the time he would be done with this experience the him that arrived here to help clear snow and the one who had finished this ordeal would be completely different people when it came to experience. No longer did he wear a smile of thrill but a calm and neutral expression of peace as his hands lashed out towards the approaching crowds and took their lives just as fast as they entered his area of reach.
At this moment Chisana could feel his comrades mana changing and growing as his own went through it’s own changes. The other Magic Knight was improving at a rate that compared to Chisana’s own but was being slowed only due to their own decision to control the growth while Chisana allowed his own growth to run as wild as he felt. Bengal’s mana had stayed the most consistent due to experience and knowledge, but it was still vastly stronger then both of the Magic Knights if they were to even combine them. Every second was a reminder how much farther and more Chisana could grow, and it pushed him that much further in refining his actions. Chisana’s movements had grown to the point of refinement by now that it seemed as if he was flowing across the area he had designated as his own area. He had started to clear out his area and wouldn’t allow anyone or anything into it as his circle grew larger and larger any snowman that entered within it was quickly dispatched. “This is my space and none but who I wish will enter it.” Chisana stated to the non-listening snowman army.

The other two were doing just fine, enjoying their newfound power it would seem. Bengal glanced back and smirked briefly, before focusing on what was before him. They were clearing out quite a few, but there was still a good chunk of the sea before him. Slowly straightening as he watched his storm rain fire from the skies, Bengal grunted softly. There was no sign of a boss coming, the flames just continued to roast and melt the snowmen to nothingness. Brow furrowing he placed his hands on his hips, contemplating his options quietly.
Waiting around wasn't really his style, but he also couldn't leave the civilians and the greenhorn. Rumbling in his chest quietly, Bengal shifted the massive storm of flames to the side. Altering the raining flames from the sky to part slightly and instead spread across the entire plain. Completely counteracting the snow as his eyes remained focused on the horizon. Surely, whomever was going to trigger this entire event wasn't going to just sit around while Bengal bombed the entire area?
"C'mon now, I'm running out of tricks here to bring you out," he mused more to himself than anything. Suddenly the inferno dispersed, and though some may have thought the sky being alight had faded due to him running out of mana like a normal mage it became blatantly clear he'd just stepped out of the job being done. Not even slightly winded as the flames continued to ripple along their bodies, he watched the snow continue to melt away. Very few remaining within the mess of slush, though one slowly clawed its way toward him, already half-melted.
His foot casually smashed it into a puddle as he squinted upward in vague annoyance. "What's next then, hm? The army is gone. Are you going to give up or finally show yourself?" As he mused this, Bengal glanced back toward the other two and the town. None of the snowmen had gotten past the pair. A huff of his breath painted the air white with fog from the temperature difference. What a waste of time. It was an army, but so weak that even with his haphazard enhancements they couldn't even injure Viera whom was a complete greenhorn.
"Whoever is doing this is an absolute amateur," Bengal mused, meandering toward the town once more. Walking through the various craters that he'd carved through the still steaming countryside.
"Oi, you two alright?" He called out over the plain. Waving a hand through the steam to clear it as he focused on the two's ki signatures. Luckily neither of them felt injured at all. So they'd adapted to his spells well enough to function if nothing else. "Hoo', I'm impressed," he mused glancing between them both curiously as he tucked his hands into his pockets. The flames still rolling off their bodies, as he wasn't quite sure that things were going to be finished so easily.
"I wonder where the actual mage or boss monster is that's caused this--" Midway through his musings, Bengal's gaze snapped back toward the town. The sound of bells filling the air, causing his own gaze to narrow. There was magic in the sound, unnatural, and the sounds of screams began to echo out from the town itself.
"Fuck," he stated casually, before flashing forward in a blur of flames as the Golems turned as well from their positions at the walls. Of course, it'd stick to underhanded tactics since it had thus far. What a fucking pain.
Viera was pleased with how Bengal spell was making her both stronger and faster, but she still felt like she was blocking out some of it’s benefits with a mental wall so to speak, his mana was so overwhelming that she felt like it would consume her and destroy her from the inside if she didn’t try to contain it. But her little field test and adjusting the flow of Bengal’s mana within her she was able to get her body adjusted even if it was only a little more. ‘
But now her control over it was hindering her more than it was helping, watching Chisana for a moment again she wondered if she could go even faster and hit harder than what she was previously doing. There were still many snowmen circulating the town, if she could help with that by going even faster and destroying the snowman then it was time to just let all the overwhelming mana flow exactly how it wants, her body was adjusted enough now or at least she felt like it was.
With a long inhale and a slow exhale Viera began to lessen her control over the mana of Bengal inside of her, her speed steadily increasing as her sprint around the town led her to a group of several snowmen in the immediate area and were but a few meters from each other as they leaped closer towards the town. Her body turned towards the closest one to her, two others within about eleven meters of her, as she ran towards the one in front of her grimoire along with her notebook, writing brush, and ink box began to float into the air around her as her mana controlled them, the brush dipping into the black ink as it began to stroke the page, a rounded head with a sharp horn was drawn and was further extended to draw the familiar long body fins and tail of a dolphin, her brush dipping on the page to create dots on the creature as her grimoire flipped through pages and finally landed on one.
Viera paused, she hadn’t really thought about it or even tried to but she had seen multiple times Bengal and Christana alike summon multiple creations at once, Viera had blocked it out mentally but now that she was recalling it she wondered if she could achieve the same effect, how does one even create multiple things at one time? Expand more mana? Imagine an additional copy of the same spell? She wasn’t sure but she wasn’t going to shy away from trying it right then and now. Going with the simplest way she could think of, she simply increased the amount of mana she put into the spell, with this and a little imagery of imagining the paper splitting into two she found she was able to succeed which was more shocking than if she would have failed.
The page of her creation splitting into two as they separated and two spear-headed narwhals were formed as they treated the air as if it was the ocean, their tails moving side to side as if they were swimming. In her mind, she thought of one objective while making them, “Seek and pierce through any foreign magic signatures besides Bengal, Christana, and herself” And just as she thought so they did, the narwhal creatures splitting as they began seeking out the snowman in the vicinity, rushing into them and piercing through their bodies with its spear and running through it. The two working in a clockwise fashion as they expanded further out sweeping the area of snowman up to twenty-five meters around her.
With the destruction of at least fourteen more snowman the narwhals made from her magic simply crumbled into nothingness, the page they emanated from left blank as Viera left it behind as she closed in on a much smaller group of three snowmen, her right hand shooting forward as her fist swung forward blowing a hole through the snowman, the large chunk causing it to fall apart as she closed in on the next, a small leap with her knee forward as she grabbed the snowmen by the back of her head to meet impact with her knee, knocking it clean off. Immediately she trampled over the snow of the 2nd creature as she sprinted to the third, sliding on the snow as she spun around lowering herself and her legs kicked out destroying the bottom portion of the snowman before her right hand thrust down in an open palm onto the snowmen, destroying it’s head as well.
For some distance, the area was substantially more cleared out. Bengal familiar voice called out, she turned towards him sensing his mana despite the steam from the flame robe he embedded on her,” Yeah I’m perfectly fine. Your spell is amazing!!” Viera called out as she ran to him. As she got closer his form was easier to see, which made it all the more clear for her to see him drastically turn the other way as she got closer his attention lost on her and instead focused on something else. “What is it Bengal!!?” Viera said getting closer to Bengal trying to see what he was concerned about. She got her answer though, she hadn’t noticed it immediately but she heard the sound of bells, but she could sense the mana with each ring, someone was doing this, focusing, even more, she could hear screaming and upon that she immediately began to run back towards the town far behind Bengal who went on ahead.

Here it was, that special kind of clarity that came with fighting for an extended period of time. Most people who trained themselves in the way of combat rarely got to experience such a state especially now that the world was becoming more peaceful. The war with Diamond ended years ago and besides some bandit stragglers peace had returned to the country now it was just the typical struggle for life for those in the Fringe or Forsaken region, the majority of the populace living each day with out much care for it beyond what they needed to do that day to make it to the next. Yet, here it was for Chisana, moving around this snow covered battlefield of sentient snowmen that were destroyed with the simplest of strikes and kicks from the young Shengxiao. He was thrilled with his life, he had glimpsed what it meant to be at one with is body physically and mentally and it was a sensation that was enlightening to him. It was like he could feel every movement in his muscles, the sensations of the air against his skin, things were heightened for this moment and it felt wonderful. It was certainly something he could get addicted too, it also brought to mind why so many people get addicted to combat and fighting and seeking out those stronger then them. It was for moments just like this.
By the time Chisana had started to come out of his fighting induced trance the battlefield had been mostly cleared of snowmen besides some half broken stragglers that posed no threat. He looked around scanning the area seeing if there was more to come, seeing if he would further be able to grow and fight but at the moment it seemed things had calmed down. He heard shouting from Bengal and while it seemed like distress it sounded more like annoyance to Chisana. Regardless he made his way over to the animal like civilian that held enough power to rival his own Captain, he needed to make sure that nothing had truly gone wrong and it seemed like he wasn’t the only one in the party that decided to group up. With the young woman who was seeming more confident with each second of their battle, it was like seeing an in the moment growth of a person, Chisana smiled at this because it meant that Viera had potential to be so much stronger then what she is now and that was always needed in the Magic Knights. Though with his gaze turned back to the one who had shouted so loudly that he was sure that people in the next country over could hear him it didn’t seem like anything to horrid was happening, but if it was like anything that had just went on with the completion of their original task he was sure that something was making it’s way there to them.
