Maybe the liquor was starting to talk to him, or perhaps it was just his own arrogance from the incident...but he did not remember being congratulated for saving the day of that fated dive into the Forgotten Tower. ”Thanks Rosa...I appreciate that…” He replied back as he continued the conversation, the back and forth was becoming comforting to the Golden Dawn captain...almost relaxing into his seat completely. When he heard her say that her first choice in the Magic Knights was the Golden Dawn he choked on his drink a little before looking at her as she explained getting into the Blue Roses. ”You would have fit in...the Golden Dawn has a certain...quality about it that it never did before. The Blue Roses have been and still remain to be...well they aren’t afraid to speak their minds when it comes to having to be anywhere near a man sometimes...but I don’t think of you as being a mess. I am happy you made it somewhere you feel like you belong, and if I was to agree with you being a mess...what does that make me...a complete wreck of a person I would bet.” Zaven would finish his glass before ordering another round, and continuing the conversation. She retorted saying that she hates the new Vice Captain, which when Zaven heard about who it was and how they actually screwed him out of helping make a discovery in the Lava Grand Magic Zone...he remembered the rage he felt. The way she spoke and the time that passed was like gold, precious gold to him as he went back and forth for hours. When the question was asked about the kid from earlier, she answered it in a fair way before rounding it back around to him. ”I do not know what I want...to be honest I am scared of children, I don’t want to break them, but they are sweet creatures that I want to protect to my fullest extent if possible...I guess I will see what the future holds for me.” He said before the toast was finally prepared and the pair toasted their old brother in arms and family member, Silas Vermillion. Rosalia eyed Zaven worriedly when he choked on his drink. Had she said something wrong? The Golden Dawn would’ve been her first choice. She had wanted to impress Vulkan, her teacher, in being good enough to fight alongside him. The beauty was initially very disappointed when she had failed to get in, and worried about her friend’s reaction. She had expected the pale-haired lava-user to react to her the way her brothers had when she had done something wrong, with a heavy hand and scorn. But Vulkan had just appreciated her new mantle and said nothing of the sort. He even congratulated her on her accomplishment. It made sense for him to have been her first crush…she supposed…he was the first man to actually treat her like she had worth. Her eyes travelled to Zaven quietly. He too did that…and Silas…and Malcolm…and Naxel…perhaps there was hope for the men in the world after all. [break][break]
A little smile graced her lips and she tilted her head at her friend when he told her that she would’ve fit in the Golden Dawn. “I lack the actual magical expertise and ability…at least that’s what the previous Captain deemed.” She lifted the cup to her lips and took another sip, watching her friend. When he called himself a mess her eyebrows would jump and she’d tilt her head at him. He always looked so put-together though…Zaven Blake…a mess? A laugh left her tips. [break][break]
“If this is what a mess is, then I wouldn’t mind being the one to clean it up any day of the week.” Rosalia said with a flirtatious wink before leaning back and taking another very long swig of her drink. It wasn’t horrible alcohol. It couldn’t compare to the stuff that the male had usually brought with him, or the stuff her Captain made on occasion, but it was alright nonetheless.
Hearing her friend talk about kids made her cock an eyebrow to the side. Hearing the big bad Captain of the Best Squad in Clover say that he was afraid of kids made her tilt her head back and let out a loud sincerely laugh. It was difficult to stop. Really difficult, and she found herself almost crumpling to the ground next to the table from laugher. This man…was something else. Hearing the second part of his answer…however, she took ahold of herself and lifted herself up, moving to sit next to the Blake quietly.
“I understand you completely…” Rosalia murmured, almost whispered, as she wrapped her arms over Zaven’s shoulders and tilted her head at him. She wanted to protect them too. All of the little girls and little boys who didn’t know the world around them was a dangerous place. The beauty may not have had a family, but that didn’t stop her from wanting to protect those who had one. It was partially the reason she liked being a Magic Knight. She also enjoyed being the one to bring justice upon those hurting the innocent…but… “I don’t think you’ll break them…you’re not your father Zaven…” She whispered gently, comfortingly, as she ran her fingers through her friends’ hair, hoping that it felt nice to him. Like a scalp massage of some kind. He needed to stop worrying about the future and the past. He needed to live a little. “I think you’ll be a sweet dad one day.” The woman joked softly. “You really care a lot and worry too much sometimes, and I think that means you think of everything. You know how to micromanage and macro manage as a Captain, don’t have a stick up your ass like the Silvas, while also having the resources to bring up a child or two so they are well-educated and cared for.” [break][break]
The witch moved away gently, still sharing the booth with him but meeting his eyes with a bashful grin. “I don’t wanna hear that you’re scared of children, we already went over that you’re not a monster. You have a conscience and a good heart.” Rosalia poked the man’s chest with her free hand and lifted her eyebrows to say “See, see, I’m making a good point” before grabbing her mug from her side of the table and finishing its contents. It was past midnight. And she was still with him. The bar was getting kind of empty as it was a weekday, but the two sat together and chatted for hours. [break][break]
She could feel his warmth from where she was sitting next to him…he always smelled of something between dark chocolate and mint…and perhaps she couldn’t really realize what else because she found herself eyeing him up. He was here anyways…here to take a break and leave the Capital and his job behind for a little bit. Perhaps she could…aid him in this task if he let her. [break][break]
Rosalia could practically feel the devil on her shoulder whispering to her of all of the little ways she could help Zaven Blake relax. There really was a lot that ran through her mind as she bit the inside of her cheek and her eyes wandered the nearly empty bar for familiar faces. There were none. So this…probably wasn’t such a bad idea after all. [break][break]
“Say…Lord Zaven,” she leaned over and practically purred lowly in his ear as she spoke “since you’re here on vacation…how about I help you get your mind off of everything in your room?” She would breathe the question before leaning back and pursing her lips. Her ruby gaze held his azure one and didn’t leave while she waited for his response. [break][break]
Depending on his response she’d either give him one of her sweet smiles and follow him up, or find another victim for her pleasure.[break][break]

Description: Rosalia pours mana into her grimoire, summoning forth a whip of flexible black ice, called Frostbite.The whip deals senior damage to an enemy, buffing the caster's Power by +9 upon usage. If the whip is picked up by an ally, they obtain a buff of +12 Power.[break]

Description: A zone of ice-cold energy spreads from the air and ground around Rosalia outwards, covering a 40 meter cubed radius and dealing senior damage to all enemies within her range, knocking them back 8 meters. Allies (including the caster) gain a shield blocking senior rank damage that appears as an invisible shell of icy black mana. This AOE can be maintained for its affected area, repeatedly dealing damage to Rosalia's enemies if they don't move outside of its range. [break][break]

Allies found within the range of the Winter's Kiss (Including the caster) instead receive a senior rank shield of black glacial mana that will protect them.[break][break]

He really was starting to become numb to the alcohol they continued to serve...it really was terrible...cheap stuff...do not recommend, he would even give it a rating of zero if he could just because of the drinks. Still though it did not seem to bother the two of them as they shared that booth. He admitted that it was nice and as she reminded him of what the previous captain of the Golden Dawn said to her on getting in, Zaven just gave a soft sigh, looking at her as she drank her glass. ”Arthurius was a good man, but his vision was hindered...in the end it resulted in his sacrifice to the country...Regardless it is different now in the Golden Dawn. Quality over quantity and if it was a question of now...I would happily accept you into the squad.” He would say before finishing his drink, ordering another one almost immediately. When she commented that she would not mind being the one to clean up the mess, he gave a grin as the drink arrived at their booth. ”Well I would not mind that...not at all.” He said, taking a drink as she got up and moved around to his side of the booth and laid an arm over the boot, near his neck. The Blake began to get bold at this point...perhaps it was the shit alcohol...or perhaps he just could not resist her allure, regardless he bit his bottom lip visibly as she brought him back to reality saying that she understood the issue about children, so he nodded in affirmation. When she retorted back and told him that he would not break any children, that he was not like his father. He nodded, trying to sort out his thoughts as he just felt like he wanted to give in and just agree with her. Then she said he would be a sweet dad one day and he swallowed hard. He looked at her, more like openly stared for a moment, he had a hard red blush for a moment, and nodded as she explained her words which only furthered a deep desire for Zaven Blake. However, the captain of the Golden Dawn knew what the service to the Order of the Magic Knights meant...having a kid was a bad idea...even worse was that his thoughts drifted somewhere in his head of a quiet countryside when Zaven finally got the gall to just say “fuck it” to the rules and become a father even if it was while he was on active duty...in his drunken stupor he saw a female with him in his head. It just happened to be Rosalia, but he quickly dissipated that thought...he knew this was something he could not obtain. [break][break]
But he was happy in this moment, and he did not wish to change it at all, even if offered the job of Wizard King...this booth was what mattered to him. He came back to the conversation as she poke him in the chest, he had an overwhelming urge to kiss the woman. Right there...in that mostly empty bar...was he that drunk? [break][break]
That next interaction as she got close and practically purred into his ear sent jolts of electricity through his body as the man shuddered. He swore that those lights just got brighter for a moment before he turned to her as she proposed that they retire to a room, he just gave a sly grin. [break][break] ”I do believe you promised to check my body for cuts from that incident earlier...if I recall correctly that is.” He said teasingly, he paid their bar tab with a wave of his hand, he walked to the bar on their way to the stairs...grabbing a bottle of wine and two glasses before placing the yul on the counter for everything.
