Leonard is the classic pureblood Vermillion in his look. Black leather thigh lengh boots over light cream trousers, crimson red cloak with light gold trims over a purple shirt. He also sports the classic dark red markings around his eyes and a red diamond on his forehead. The only real change in his attire over the norm is the addition of a pair of long sleeve gloves and a golded colored scarf tied around his neck.

Like any other Vermillion, his hair is red-orange while his eyes are a vibrant aquamarine. His complexion overall is quite muscular with a slight tan to his skin tone compared to most others.


Leonard Vermillion is known by many as a proud, hard working and hot headed magic knight with a burning desire to impress and seek acknowledgement of his abilities. He is certainly always full of energy and raring to go at any moment. While quite confrontational and brash, he still remains loyal to his family even though he is known to step out of the line to confront issues head on or overall being quite a competitive soul. He is direct and upfront about most things, often declaring his thoughts on the matter at hand without much sugarcoating. 

Fighting wise, he shares both the explosiveness of his family members are known for as well as exhibiting a particular liking towards fair yet all-out fights in general. He values integrity and honour to the upmost degree, easily angered by those who resort to despicable methods to reach their goals, be it commoners or nobles alike.


Leonard Vermillion was born with the sheltered walls of the royal capital. Son of Fiora Vermillion and Xander Vermillion, all he knew was for the first years of his life was the noble life. While not as physically strong compared to other Vermillion members, he showed exceptional control over mana and magic in general even before he recieved his grimoire.

The years would pass as he was slowly brought up to speed to all the nuances that came with his royal lineage. While there were some merits to it and he was quick to pick up proper mannerism and etiquette it was clear that he wasn't really cut out to be a politician. 

He would recieve his grimoire as soon as he was of age, and as expected he was particularly gifted with mana, though his exceptional control over it manifested through his newfound ability to wield Lava Magic. While not as explosive as his parent's fire magic, he could manipulate it to a much higher degree of precision while still retaining destructive capabilites. As much as he hated it, while being pretty powerful compared to a commoner, he was quite average within his bubble of influence. While his progress with magic was comparable to his relatives, Leonard had always been prideful and had always yearned for recognition. Being so "average" in a family of gifted mages simply didn't sit right with him.

By virtue of never leaving the Royal Capital and being of royal blood, he never really had the chance to meet and train with others outside his relatives, though his regimen was still able to steel his body and mind into that of a relentless warrior. Sure, some squabbling with the Silva and other nobles happened over banquets...but he never really gel great with the other houses. In truth he felt pretty distant to it all. He never really found that

Despite being given a spot within the Magic Knights for free, Leonard instead insisted to sustain the entrance exam regardless of his background. He had been raised to value honor and integrity. If he were to become a Magic Knight, he would claim that right with his own two hands.

As espected from a Vermillion pureblood, he passed the exams with flying colors and took his place within the Crimson Lions, wishing to prove himself deserving of his name and powers.




MAGIC DESCRIPTION: Leonard is straightforward and direct when it comes to his magic. He seeks to overpower his opponent's attack and defense with his own spells, be it through sheer strenght or superior control over mana. He is also know to be somewhat tactical, to a point, usually shifting the environment around him to something that can aid his fighting style and hinder his enemy's movements. He's not afraid to get in close and throw hands, though he seems much more proficient at mid range combat.
