Why was he feeling so different? What had caused this sudden swell of energy he had felt when he had taken the life of the fluffy mana beasts? Was it normal? He wasn’t used to having to take a life, was this normal? He was certain it wasn’t… the Figure he kept seeing was perhaps the cause of it. But he would refuse to let it stay long within his visual range, even if the others couldn’t see him. He would simply ignore the cloaked and hidden figure that resided in his mind and make his way back up the hill. The figure however would smile himself, and dissapear as Yugo hardened his glass-like resolve just a little more. As he took each step back to the others he would remember his words to his father, that he would be strong and prove that he could make the silver eagles a better squad then even the Golden Dawn was. He would make sure he was no longer so easy to shake. [break][break] As he reached the top, he hesitated to take the othermans hand when it was offered, and he instead gave him a respectful and quick bow befitting a noble of his status., he wasn’t trying to be uptight, but he was also trying to be as professional as possible, and as such he remained quiet as the group carried onward to the next area. But even as he did, that figures voice spoke in his ears softly as they walked. Unknown to any but himself, the figure smiled. [break][break] “This is a fine path you have Chosen, having decided to walk the path of a weapon. Brilliant people shine more brightly than ordinary ones. They never regret or agonize over what they’ve done, and yet you felt so weak just now that you hardened your resolve to fight against me despite knowing not what my goal is. You are so beautifully stubborn, and yet also so yielding-ly brittle. You will make a fine blade for your father one day Yugo. Keep fighting, ill make sure to keep watching.” Yugo grit his teeth, until he heard someone call his name bringing him back to reality, thankfully he wasn’t anywhere near danger as he looked toward the voice. [break][break] Room 2: 384/2000 [break][break] As they had walked toward the next floor, Yugo couldn’t help but notice the increase in moisture and temprature with every step forward. It was a magical effect no doubt, and as such Yugo was certain it meant they were making their way deeper into the dungeon. He may not have ever been in one before, didn’t mean he hadnt spent an excessive amount of time reading up on them while he was stuck in the former home he lived in, which now sat as a glassy burn in the country side thanks to the battle between Ardere and the strange entity they had dealt with. [break][break[ “Hm?… oh… yes it is. Unfortunate as that may be, my body and health made it harder for me to perform my duties as a knight until recently.” he smiled softly, but just as he was about to explain more he and the others were told to hold, as he noticed the plants blocking their path. He immediately took advantage to look around the area, and there wasn’t any way forward besides through the plants. He wondered what would happen next as suddenly 3 large odd…. things were created. He watched in awe as three large spherical orbs with shining eyes and open mouths appeared and he couldn’t help but chuckle. [break][break] “What an amazing Magical spell!” he was floored a bit, and after testing the surface of the orb before jumping up on top and laughing. He had never seen a spell like this before and it made him let his little kid learner out with a smile. He would be taking as many mental notes as possible, and as they began moving forward, Yugo would sigh happily, enjoying the ride. But within a short time the buzzing of insects would grow louder and louder, before out of no where the large beez would appear, flying from the wild plant life and he cursed, he was watching as 8 of them were decimated by the leader of the group. He was unsure what to do now, as his only spell that could attack would not have done enough damage to kill more then one, and so instead he would wait till the last moment and prepared to jump to the third cider.

Cyrus smiled a bit as he watched Yugo's reaction to the golems that he had summoned, having not expected such behavior based on what little he had seen of the young man so far. Truthfully, his own reaction had been fairly similar back when he first developed the Ciders; they were his first golems capable of flight, and had served him well ever since they first emerged from his grimoire. "The Cider is a golem of mine; a Senior level one, to be precise. I'm fairly proficient at this particular form of magic; it's quite versatile, and allows me to cover for my personal weaknesses well. Specifically, the Cider is a Predator type golem; they excel at raw power and speed, making them a considerable threat in combat. I would be happy to tell you more about the art once we have the opportunity, if you would like."
Hama and Zarya both exchanged looks with each other, rolling their eyes. Of course Cyrus was going to go on about the excellence of golems after the boy showed an interest in them. His fondness for the branch of magic was perhaps one of the most consistently clear aspects of Cyrus' entire being.
Yugo had begun to answer his question about the dungeon, explaining that his health issues had prevented him from attempting such excursions until now, though any further comment that he had to share was cut off by the arrival of the buzzing bees seeking to knock them down onto the poison ivy below. And while Cyrus and Zarya had no issue dealing with the insects that had attacked them, they noticed that neither Zaven nor Yugo had engaged the beasts.
Given the company, Cyrus was fairly certain Zaven was just here to watch over and observe the younger knight to keep him safe in his first dive into a dungeon. But Yugo merely watched the mana beasts, clearly aware of the threat that they posed but seeming unsure of how to respond to it.
"Still a little green, huh kid?" Zarya asked with a sigh, though she seemed a bit amused as though she was thinking back to similar experiences herself. Fortunately, as they had already demonstrated, the pair of the Vice Captain and the former Black Bull were more than enough to deal with the remainder of the insects without even needing to cast a single new spell.
"Cider, intercept." Cyrus commanded the golem he was riding, and it immediately rushed towards the swarm of insects, barreling into the nearest one before circling around in front of them. The second of his golems also attacked, snatching one of the bugs in its jagged jaw and crushing it easily.
Cyrus and Zarya readied their weapons once more, with Cyrus swinging the chain of the Scorpion's Eclipse with enough force to split two of the remaining bugs down to size. Zarya stabbed into the bug flying nearest to her, before slicing cleanly through two more bugs. Only one bug remained, but as it readjusted its aim to Cyrus it found its attempt foiled by the knight's barbed gauntlet, jabbed into its face as the Rising Dawn sent it hurtling to the ivy below with a vicious punch.
Cyrus scanned the room slowly but cautiously, the chamber now silent with the bugs all dead. He reached out with his ki senses, just to be sure in case he was missing something that was out of his range of vision. And once he was certain there was nothing, his posture relaxed and he lowered his arms. Zarya had already done so, placing her weapons behind her; rather than go into a sheathe or scabbard of some sort, the influence of her gravity magic was clear as the blades connected to one another and simply hovered behind her back, out of the way.
"All remaining enemies defeated! Good job everyone!" Hama reported with a laugh, partly joking since it had just been the two of them who had dealt with the annoying enemies. Cyrus nodded in confirmation as Zarya sat back down on the golem as she had before the insects arrived, using the back of Cyrus' legs as a headrest. She wasn't tired, just a little bored and annoyed. "That buzzing was gonna give me a headache if it lasted just one second longer." She complained irritably as she rubbed the side of her head. It was Cyrus' turn to roll his eyes at the woman's claim, knowing that she was just exaggerating due to her desire to press onward.
"Is that why you're whining?" Cyrus teased, earning a glare from the girl... though it was a bit difficult for them to make eye contact at the moment, with her sitting immediately behind him. "Shut up and focus on keeping us in the air, Cyrus." She snipped back with a small grin. Though the two had not known each other for very long, they already felt very comfortable joking around and poking at the other. Cyrus suspected it was due to their generally similar interests and ways of processing things, even if they might express them in very different ways.
He just chuckled and turned his head to look at Yugo and Zaven, waving his hand to beckon them over. "The way forward is up ahead! Is anybody else interested in taking a turn leading the way?" He asked, having no problem doing so himself if they weren't so inclined.
Zarya limply wave her hand in a bit of a dismissive gesture, a small, relaxed smile on her face. "Or do you intend to keep playing bouncey bounce on the golem? You know you can attack things even if they won't die from it, yeah? Baby steps and all that jazz."
Cyrus glanced down at her after she said that. It was a bit more blunt that he probably would have put it, but still perfectly valid advice. "Dungeons, battles, or even out in the wild. When just a little bit of effort could potential turn things around for either side, you should always be ready to act in some way." He added on, wanting to help this fledgling knight as much as he could. Hama nodded in agreement with the pair's assessment. "Yeah! We're here to back you up, so don't be afraid to take some action, ya know?"

[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] Zaven, The Shadow of Dawn was looking around as Cyrus and his ward, along with the spirit Hama were finishing off the creatures that had just attacked the group. The Golden Dawn captain honestly laughed softly as he knew that this dungeon...like many others he had been a part of...was just another training course for those that were weaker. He did not even lift a finger on that last room yet the problems were still quickly and efficiently dealt with. ”Looks like I could quite as easily sit on the back of a golem myself and just watch you all as you train.” He let out a stifled laugh as he approached the front of the group before his grimoire came out from its binding harness and he felt mana surge within him before his grimoire glowed a sickly purple. In the next moment his mana surged out of his body and grimoire as a shadow of the Golden Dawn captain was made, then it sprung to life as it maneuvered around for a moment as if to stretch. When they spoke and talked about who was going to go up first, Zaven pointed to the golem. ”We will take point in the next area, don’t worry about fighting, but please rest a moment before we continue.” Zaven said as he put his hands into his pockets and walked forward into the next area of the clearing. [break][break]
Area 2 [break][break]
Once into the next area Zaven gave them all a hand to tell them to hold back as the sound of not only buzzing, but also the flapping of some heavy wings brought to attention a bigger foe. Zaven reached out with his sensory ability and tried to get a gauge on how many there were in the immediate vicinity. His breathing slowed and his pupils dilated as he took in a deep breath, exhaling as his mana spread out among the dungeon. ”four more creatures… no wait, there are six…scratch that...nine...there are nine total. That might be enough for an alright warm up.” He said aloud, finishing out that small little outburst with a trailing off as he found himself in thought for a moment. He was not wanting to destroy the place, but he also cared about protecting those with him. ”Achilles, strike down our enemies, spare none your wrath.” Zaven commanded his golem to attack as he was being set upon by the combined attacks of the Cockatrice and Buzzbills. The shadow golem was attacked by the wings of one cockatrice before the great sudden moment as the shadow delivered a swift punch to the head of the overgrown chicken. Then a swift roundhouse kick to kill two more of the Cockatrice almost immediately after. The grand golem made short work of the mana beasts in its direct line of sight as Zaven caught sight of two of the Buzzbills coming back towards him. ”Should have stayed going up against the golem...at least you would not have time to ponder your last thoughts.” Zaven said coldly before letting them within his striking distance, and upon taking a deep breath the captain of the Golden Dawn reached out and with two swipes of his arms in diagonal motions he cut right through them, leaving 4 sections of body on the ground before him. The grand scout golem still sped off towards its next opponent; two Buzzbill, out to avenge their fallen comrades attacked the golem, but were stopped in their tracks as they stung the golem and went through it, as they landed on the ground they did not even have time to recover as the golem smashed them under its shadowed heels.[break][break]
”That is all the bugs...now to finish out the chickens.” He said as his grimoire glowed a sickly purple once more. He was about to cast a spell as the Cockatrice stepped within his striking distance once again, but before it could, Achilles was swift to remove its head from its neck and throw the corpse to the ground before going to the final two and delivering swift, lethal kicks to the creatures, beheading them immediately as he did so. ”Looks like the area is clear...small ambushes from underwhelming prey make for a very lousy hunt...I pray you have all had time to rest while I took a leisurely stroll through the hunting grounds of these creatures?” Zaven sounded a bit more condescending than usual, perhaps it was the dungeon itself...or perhaps he was growing tired of how long the damned place seemed to be. At this rate he was sure the crown had been out to punish him through the subjugation of this damn dungeon more than anything else.
Yugo found himself inthralled listening to Cyrus’s explination of his magic. A Senior level Spell of any kind was not easy to do, But to use it for something like a Golem must be hard. He very rarely saw anything like this in his experiance with magic. The creature that he now stood upon was something unique and special in Yugos mind. He gently ran a hand over the strange surface and despite being what it was made off, he was not stuck to it or even slowed down as he touched it. He hoped one day he would have the skill to make a magic spell like that, one that could help this many people all at once. He smiled and chuckled as the group made their way forward. It was when he and the group encountered the bees and he froze that he felt a pang of unease. The words of the other with Cyrus stung deep despite their gentle wording. He felt that pang of weakness hit his chest once more and he couldn’t bring himself to answer. Only to look away with a look of shame in his eyes. [break][break] He watched as Cyrus and his companion attacked the creatures along side the golem he was riding. He was blown away by their ability to work together yet not get in the way at all of each other and without causing issues to the golem they were riding on. He watched as the group took out the bees without any issue. Causing him to watch in absolute amazement and desire to be like them as they decimated the enemy with little issue.he watched until he was given the chance to take the forward patrol and he almost jumped at the chance to do it. However…The comment from Zarya made him hesitate. It was when Cyrus and Hama spoke up and encouraged him that he felt his resolve shift into form and he took a deep breath before following cyrus’s example and he put a hand on the golem. “Go on, take the lead…. lets how them what we can do.” [break][break] But as he went to take lead, his father did before him. It was clear yugo wouldnt challange and as such he didn’t finish giving the order to his golem. He felt the sappy mass wiggling beneath him in response and it floated off to follow the group as well. He tried to play it off if anyone brough up that Zaven had taken lead before he did. [break][break] He is the captain here after all, It only makes sense that he leads us when needed.” [break][break] The travel to the next area was short, if not boring all the same. Yugo stood up as his father gave the hand signal to wait, and he cursed himself for being too weak to sense what ever danger was coming their way.but as always his fathers skill was far beyond that of a normal mage. It was almost as if he was on another level entirely as his magic sprang into life. Yugo recognized it as a golem right away and he was even more shocked as the Golem began to quickly rid the area of the strange chicken like mana beasts known as cockatrices and the buzzing creatures as well. However, as two of the buzzbills broke off from the golem and headed toward his father, He didn’t let his hesitance get him again. He placed a hand on the sap golem and ordered it to intercept. The golem charged and bit into the first buzzbill as Yugo aimed his magic at the other Buzzbill and with a flick of his finger he sent a small blass marble at the enemy. He didn’t know if it would kill the creature given his damage output, but he knew at least the one taken down by the golem wouldnt be an issue trapped between the jaws of the golem. Yugo only hoped his spell had some level of impact.

The second chamber on the third floor had been uneventful for the Rising Dawn, thanks to Zaven opting to take care of the enemies that appeared in the room. More than the giant insects he and Zarya had dealt with, there were also a couple of creatures he recognized as Cockatrices. Yugo, seeming to find his footing a bit, even commanded the golem Cyrus had given him control of to attack one of the last buzzing baddies. "A fine step forward!" Cyrus commended the young man genuinely as they moved to head into the next room, once again positioning himself at the front of the group as they entered.
From what he could tell, this chamber was a touch larger than the previous one. The difference in size was not substantial, but the aesthetic of the area was certainly different. It felt a bit more natural, more like being in a normal forest, with colorful flowers decorating the surroundings. Still one could never be too careful in a dungeon such as this. Getting careless in any such unknown territory was tantamount to inviting death.
Even before he could sense their presence, though, Cyrus could hear the chortle of new foes echoing down from above. And as the unsettlingly cheerful voices touched his ears, so too did a sudden and intense sensation of fatigue and drowsiness. That, and a thick powder drifting down from the ceiling where the laughter had come from. Zarya let out a tired yawn, seemingly experiencing the same sensation. "I feel sluggish... probably those fairy things' doing, I would wager." She observed, pointing up. Cyrus followed her finger to the roof of the chamber, where eight spritely descended as they continued to giggle. "Well that's a nasty trick." He noted, though he sounded only mildly annoyed thanks to the dreary effects of the strange dust. The familiar sound of crowing also told him that there were more cockatrice on the way as well.
Cyrus opened his grimoire, flipping to a page he didn't often have a need to use. "Mother's Sweet... Embrace." He managed to yawn out, the spell's power none the weaker for his exhaustion. A swirl of sap emerged from the pages, swiftly reaching out towards both Yugo and Zarya. On contact with its targets, the spell would form a cape of sap on each of their shoulders, serving both as a magical remedy to the effects of the sprite powder, as well as a potent defensive barrier. With the substance draped across her small form, Zarya's eyes became sharper as her drowsiness wore off thanks to the spell's cleansing properties. She stood up, lightly tapping on Cyrus' back. "Your turn to sit. Just let me handle the brats." She encouraged her friend, who wasted no time in taking her up on her offer and sitting down.
She looked over at the Captain of the Golden Dawn and Yugo, giving the pair a small smile as she held her hand out. Her grimoire floated up, opening to the same spell that she had performed earlier when she and Cyrus had first arrived at the dungeon. "Like I said, leave the fairies to me." She repeated, as her magic began to swell. There was a heavy pressure pulsing from the young woman as she prepared her spell; a tell-tale sign for the initiated as to the nature of her gravity magic. "For these little pains, my Shaking Spears will be more than enough." She noted in a matter of fact tone. At its name's utterance the spell was cast, though Cyrus personally couldn't see it due to his poor sensory capabilities.
The spritelys, on the other hand, could. And what they would see was a series of spears, each one pointed at a different one of their ranks. Zarya had cast the area of effect variation of her spell, enveloping most of the room in a field that was under her attack's influence. And as the spears manifested within the room, they locked onto different fairies and immediately shot towards them. The fairies attempted to evade the attacks, but unfortunately for them while they could see the spears of magic perfectly, they were far too slow to ever hope to evade them.
To those without the sensory necessary to see the attacks, it would appear as though the sprites were fatally skewered by nothing, letting out fearful shrieks as they were run through by the unseen arms, falling down to the ground dead as the spears disappeared from existence when Zarya released the spell.
She looked at the three cockatrice as they approached, glancing over at Zaven. "Still hungry there, Cap? Still got enough in you to pluck a few more chickens?" She asked, referring how easily he and his golem had ripped through the creatures in the previous room. Cyrus smiled a little bit, chuckling in appreciation. "Zarya, no matter how many times I see... well, I suppose I don't see it, I never grow tired of watching your magic in action. Or at least, seeing the effects. Oh you know what I mean."
Zarya smirked. "Yeah yeah, I get it Cyrus. Just try to stay awake, will you? If you're gonna take a break that's the least you can do."

[attr="class, cyrusstats] Combat Notes Cyrus casts Mother's Sweet Embrace on Zarya and Yugo Zarya casts Shaking Spear, killing all 8 Spritely enemies
Items On Hand Magic Knight's Mantle Scorpion's Eclipse Strength of a Nation Puppeteer of the Current
Applicable Perks: Mana Conservationist, Apex Predator, Overpowered, Quick Shot
Description: A simple yet effective spell, Shaking Spear involves Zarya manifesting an invisible spear able to reach sizes up to 40 cubic meters using the power of her Gravity magic. This spear is then launched at the target through the air. The element of the spell makes it invisible to the naked eye; one must possess at least 30 Sensory in order to see it. Casting this spell grants Zarya +6 Power, and the spell's power increases by +3 for every consecutive hit (this effect can stack 5 times, for a max of +15).
Should Zarya so desire, she can cause the spell to inhabit an area in which its blades will seek out targets within its area of effect; this will create a powerful gravity well in an area of 40 meters around the epicenter of the spell to damage those within the range, but requires extra mana in order to perform this function due to how Gravity magic works. Zarya can maintain this area of effect at the expense of mana. Thanks to her Sensory, Zarya is able to select individuals within the area of effect so that they are not targeted.
As a Gravity spell, this attack is also capable of ignoring 10 of the target's Durability stat. It can also redirect incoming attacks, so long as Zarya's Control stat is at least +5 the opposing force's Power stat. This effect can be utilized once every other turn.
Name of Spell: Mother's Sweet Embrace Elemental Type: Sap Rank & Spell Type: Grand | Defense/Healing Range & Speed: 150m | 75m/s Mana Cost: 50 | 25 Stats Effected: +12 Durability Applicable Perks: Archangel's Blessing, Healing Specialist, Self Repairing, Final Stand Description: On casting this spell, Cyrus creates a large mass of sap that travels towards its target at high speed. Once making contact, the spell takes the shape of a shining liquid cape draped across the target's shoulders, as if the sap is wrapping them in a soothing hug. This spell is able heal the wearer for Grand level damage for either health or mana skin, as well as protect them from the equivalent of x2 Grand level spells, and the cape can be given to someone else to wear if the person using it or Cyrus so desires. The sap that makes up its form will shift to protect the person wearing it, forming a protective barrier or shield. This spell can also cleanse its target of hexes and curses as per the stat rules, and can heal injuries as sever as missing digits in a single post, smaller non-vital organs in two, and limbs and more essential organs in three. If used within three posts after someone's death, this spell can even revive someone who has died (though not the user, and only once per thread).
Thanks to Archangel's Blessing, this spell maintains its original potency when applied to multiple people. And when worn by somebody besides Cyrus, it can also increase their mana regen rate by 20 per post. With Self Repairing the spell can regenerate its durability back to full up to three times, so long as it was not completely destroyed (only one Defense spell per post can do this), and with Final Stand Cyrus is able to increase a single Defense spell's Durability by +20 twice a thread for a single post. Wearing this cape also increases the person's Durability stat by +12. Multiple instances of this spell are possible should Cyrus possess enough Control himself.
[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] Zaven watched as Yugo intercepted the buzzbills in the last room, Cyrus backed him up and then as the party crossed into the next room Cyrus’s partner Zarya stepped forward insisting that she take point against those infernal fairies. Zaven was not a sexist man, but he normally intended to be the one to stick his neck out for people and more often than not he was seen as trying to always be the white night, but the Shadow of Dawn moved his hand as if to implore her to lead the way into battle. Watching her fight was like watching someone with a paintbrush move and create a masterpiece. Just as she was finishing off two of the sprites there was some movement just in the corner of his left eye. He reached out with his mana, trying to determine if the movement was of a friend or foe, but of course...it did not take the archmage long to sense the 3 Cockatrice waiting to ambush the party. Angered a bit by some of the unfortunate happenings in his life he decided to let off some steam as he signaled the other two just as Zarya finished her fight. ”Go ahead you three move ahead and I will take care of our last bit of foes that I can sense.” He said as he watched the three monstrosity birds hop out in a futile attempt to maul the Shadow of Dawn. To which the man answered with a simple punch, one that once it impacted the clawed foot of the bird made a loud crunch as the swing sent the creature back into the ground, where the Shadow of Dawn then brought up his own foot before stomping on the head of the creature...ending its life with extreme, quick prejudice. ”One down…” He said as he brought out his trusty weapon, the relic axe that he received many moons prior. Walking towards the area where the creature sprang from, a malicious glint in his eyes. His intimidating aura was emanating and making him truly look like a god of death in that moment as he could have gone and destroyed the entire dungeon...yet the man did not talk as if he was going to do so...what was on the man’s mind at this point and time to make him have such an odd reaction to the creatures. [break][break]
In the grass the other two cockatrice attacked, and so with a swing he brought the axe to meet them in combat performing a simple whirlwind slash, the lava mana gave his swing a glow that looked even more magical and dangerous even as the relic was not even past its first stage of evolution. When faced with such a fearsome foe the creatures tried desperately to retreat quickly, but for one of them, it was too late as the axe cleaved through its breast and into its leg. The latter being removed by the strike as the second creature managed to avoid the first attack and attack at Zaven’s boots. Its razor sharp claws and beak were trying to tear into his skin, barely working into the leather. ”Begone!” Zaven’s malice leaked as he flung the overgrown chicken away with a kick. Taking a deep breath as he looked down at the other creature he wanted nothing more than to rip it to shreds. Choosing instead to bring his foot down and with a sickening crunch, felt against his heel as he killed the second creature, leaving one remaining. He then turned his attention to the third and final creature before going after it. His strength did not dwindle or dip in the slightest as he took to the sky in a great leap to take the life of this pathetic creature. He brought the axe down and felt the axe blade sinking into the earth, the archmage had missed. ”Damn” 4 He exclaimed before seeing the creature try to make a break for it. Zaven quickly retrieved his weapon from the earth and with a ginger toss he flung the axe directly at the creature before running towards it to intercept. The axe was able to catch up to the creature, lodging itself in the creatures back before the man arrived and simply finished it as well...the same way as the other two, the creature pleaded for its life...or that is what Zaven assumed as it screamed for a moment before its life was extinguished under heel. [break][break]
Zaven Blake brutally killed these three creatures with an intensity not seen, maybe one would say that he even may have gone far overboard with his liberal usage of melee and weapon fighting, but then again...was anyone really going to stop him from killing such creatures whose own mentality was to feed off of the flesh of the living...was anyone going to tell him he should show compassion for these creatures...no...nobody would tell him that… [break][break]
Nobody needed to. [break][break]
After he pulled his blood soaked axe from where it rested he shook himself free of his own emotions...he needed the cathartic release for some reason and he quickly moved to rejoin the party, of course if they did not move they would have seen his actions anyway so he did his best to just ignore the situation for the time being as it was not needed or really anything that needed to be discussed. They were here to subjugate the dungeon and to ensure that the lower ranking and weaker members of their party grew stronger in their path to success. ”I think that the next part of this is just up ahead, I can already feel the change in the weather and mana overhead and around us. Cyrus, what do you make of this place...it seems to be frozen in time but it also seems to be holding the power of the seasonal changes of the natural world.
Yugo barely held on as the Amber Golem slammed into the buzzing entitys and killed them with a vicious chewing. The impact had made him slide and almsot fall into the poison ivy below, But he used his mana to protect himself from falling off by sticking to the amber itself. He slide back onto the golem as they made their way deeper into the forest. The compliment he recieved from Cyrus was enough to make his alibaster skin blush with a soft red glow. He was still not used to being complimented. The young Magic Knight was still un used to being seen as more then a burden, given he spent his whole life bed ridden. Even now, in this dungeon he was beyond useless. Yet… Despite the obviousness of him not being meant to be there, He still had managed to learn several new things about a new form of magic, how dangerous even the weakest enemies in a dungeon could be, and just how beneficial a Melee weapon can be. [break][break] As they made their way forward, He watched as the fairies were destroyed with an artisty that would make most nobleborn artists weep. They were destroyed by the graceful attacks of someone Yugo could only call a dancer. As impressive as that was however, He barely even had time to notice that there was extra danger as suddenly his father wiped out an entire pack of creatures he didn’t recognize. They were strangely bird like, each one would easily have been able to take his own life and yet his father beat and chopped them with an efficensy that spoke to his status as Captain of the Golden Dawn. Yet… even then, Yugo felt a need to help. But knew hed only get in the way. As the group finally got back together, he heard his father speak to Cyrus and Yugo chimed in.
