"Don't need a reason to seek strength."
What was next was gathering more information on these strange warrior beasts. The immediate threat was taken care of thanks to Verena's unique golems, speaking of Valo noticed when he shook her hand it was very fragile. He made sure he didn't squeeze really at all not wanting to hurt her in anyway. It sort of matched her appearance she did look rather delicate and was soft spoken, almost like Hinota. She wasn't a pacifist like the flower mage, the way she gave command to her golems to take out the enemy was impressive.
The Green Mantis magic knight was walking to the local hospital with his silver staff resting on his left shoulder. He wanted to ask Laric the survivor some more questions about what he saw exactly, and if he did have any more info. From the way it sounded this was not the first time these minotaurs's attack Sosshi, and going back to him was probably the best way to get more info. These minotaurs had to have a home a source of where they are coming from, Valo was going to get to the bottom of it.
Every now and then he would turn his head towards the summoner and then look away. Truth was he was struggling if he wanted to ask her more questions, he said he wouldn't pry which is true he had no intention to. But he did have some questions about her, at least wanting to get to know her more if they were going to be working together. "So Verena was it? Tell me about your magic? I know golem spells, but the way use them seem like much more than the typical spells." Valo asked with some interest in his voice, it wasn't rare for him to take interest some unique magic he had never seen before.

Verena might not have been a pacifist, but she would avoid fighting when and where it could be avoided. The Minotaur were attacking people, thus it was important to eliminate the threat for the general well-being. One could only hope to reason with sapient life capable of communication. But she very much doubted that creatures like this would be capable of thought. It was more accurate to call Verena a realist; she avoided fighting, though if she had something to gain from doing so, she would. However, she tried preventing situations like that from occurring to begin with.[break][break]
Verena was trying to gather information as well. The two had come up with the idea of visiting the hospital, figuring out that this wasn't the first time there had been an attack. Especially if the minotaur themselves were within the gates of the town, as if trapping them inside. it was very doubtful that this was the only attack, and it was even more doubtful that they were inside without some sort of fight to begin with.[break][break]
It was clear that Valo wanted to ask her something, but she wasn't sure what it was. Did he intend to ask about her curse? If she absolutely had to answer, she would, but she would prefer to avoid the topic all. She hoped that if he was to ask her anything, it would be information that could be useful to the mission at large such as their aptitude or something along those lines. That would be far more ideal in her eyes, at least.[break][break]
So it was of great relief when he asked her what type of magic it was she used. The brunette was surprised at how perceptive he was. She might have used two different elements, one at the very end to give her a means of faster transportation, but she didn't exactly expect him to pick up on the fact that those weren't her normal elements. Or at the very least, he had picked up on the fact it wasn't mere cloth and sound magic.[break][break]
"Ah... uhm, well. I dislike bragging, but..." she said, as she showed off her four-leaf grimoire. "I was blessed with Summoning magic. I can create golems from a variety of elements, though I need to actually learn those elements. Currently, I have access to earth, wood, cloth, sound, and fire golems, though I'm not comfortable using that quite yet..."[break][break]
"I suppose I have some carbon magic that's native to myself, but I'm more comfortable with my golems."

"Don't need a reason to seek strength."
"Ah... uhm, well. I dislike bragging, but..."
Valo grinned when she said this, he didn't mind bragging nor hearing someone brag when they deserved to. To him there was nothing wrong being confident in one's abilities and strength and also have a little fun with it as well. Now of course someone can be to cocky and way to boastful when they haven't really proved themselves. But considering the more subtle and timid nature Verena had he doubted she was like this, her magic was very rare and not only that he could tell she worked hard to improve it and strengthen it. Make it her own. Valo would only have genuine interest and respect to people like that, that trained and practiced just as hard as he did.
Hearing the summoners explanation on her magic, he was quite surprised to here her have access to so many different elements. She quickly gave off a list of them, six to be exact that she could use to create her golems. "Summoning magic... That sounds rare. To be able to use so many different elements like that. That's pretty awesome. Fire too?!" Valo said with some excitement in his voice. He was rubbing his chin as he usually did when thinking. "So you must learn these elements from someone right? I'm just curious who taught you fire?" he asked his interest was ever-growing. He assumed she was probably going to say no one of particular interest, or no one he would know. The element of fire as wild as it is, it's a pretty common element in Clover. Many bandits had the fire element and foot soldiers too, of course people of higher positions did as well the most note worthy still being Ardere Kasai Captain of the Crimson Lions. He doubt she would say is his name.
While the Green Mantis knight had no issues with the Captain of the Crimson Lions, he would be lying if he said he didn't want to surpass him one day. And have his own blue flames looked at as the strongest in Clover. But he thought this about all the captains and their squads, he wanted to be on the same level as them if not higher. Should the next threat come around, he wanted to be right beside them this time on the front lines. He wouldn't be getting in the way again like Kikka.
Valo awaited her answer to his question but now the hospital the fire mage wanted to visit was in front of them. Laric was probably still inside being treated, his injuries from earlier weren't that bad at all but it didn't hurt to have them still bandaged up. "If Laric has any more information on where these minotaurs are coming from we could find the source of them and deal with the threat for good. From the way it sounds these attacks are frequent and only really getting worse." Valo said to the summoner.

Based on the Green Mantis' reaction, it seemed he didn't take any issue at all with her 'bragging', as she put it. If she didn't know any better, she would almost be under the assumption that Valo wanted her to go on. However, that was a pandora's box that was best left unopened. While Verena was by no means the sort to brag, she did truly love magic and the elements, and so as a certain dank mage once found out, the topic of her magic and magic, in general, was a surefire way to get her to talk nonstop. It was a habit of hers she was trying to work on, but she just got so excited! It was difficult...[break][break]
Valo commented about the potential rarity of her magic. Given her four-leaf grimoire, it only made sense in her eyes that she would have a rare magic. Of course, she had no desire to brag about that. That was unfair; she simply got lucky, she felt. To be chosen by mana in the way that she was.[break][break]
Of course, the male got excited when she brought up that she did have Fire Magic. She knew of Valo's own passion and confidence, similar to the one who had taught her. Verena didn't bring it up to earn this reaction, but she supposed it was inevitable. Not that she minded, of course. It was always nice to see someone get passionate about something -- it made her feel a lot more at ease. "Oh, uhm... Ardere taught me. I... requested him to accompany me when visiting someone in Balgon, then asked him to teach me after."[break][break]
"But you're correct. Earth magic was taught to me by a hunter. Wood magic by a craftsman. Cloth magic by a lovely elderly woman. Sound magic was taught to me by my close friend, Suna Hoshi -- she's become quite famous and strong I hear. Maybe you've heard of her? Fire magic by Ardere. And I just finished learning Pure Aura as well -- that slipped my mind. I stopped by the Black Bulls to visit Chisana while in town earlier. Ardere and Chisana were also present in the same group I was in Kikka, so I was stopping by to say hello to him, as well as thank him. ...of course, I also wanted to learn his magic. I still need some time to actually make a golem, however. Not because I can't, but..."[break][break]
"I lack inspiration right now."[break][break]
Verena didn't just make any and everything into a golem. Much like the one witch she had met before, she did have a specific sort of preference towards her golems. Almost all of them were in bipedal humanoid for a reason, after all. If she wanted to, she could conjure something up on a whim with minimal effort. That was the type of skill she possessed when it came to golemancy. She was just picky.[break][break]
The hospital was before the two now, Valo adding onto his points. "I agree. Let's ask and see if we can get more answers. Even if Laric himself might not have any answers right now, there are likely others who have been injured in a best-case scenario. Doctors and nurses may have more information."

"Don't need a reason to seek strength."
Upon the two arriving in front of the hospital Verena answered his question on whom could have taught her fire mage, and a slight bewildered expression was on his face. His left eyebrow raised looking at the summoner. She stated that the Captain for the Crimson Lions did in fact teach her how to use fire magic for her golems, a response he was not expecting. His pride wasn't hurt or anything, but it would always be a lingering thought in the back of his mind that Ardere would be looked at the premier fire mage, he was still the Sword of the Clover after all.
"So Ardere taught you!? Wow it isn't that easy to get a captain of a magic knight squad to teach someone their magic. But Ardere has always been kind and willing to look out for others in many ways, so maybe he's a different case." Valo said thinking about it more, his memories going back to when Ardere led a training session in the Lava based Mana Zone. It felt like such a long time ago. "A visit to Balgon Prison and he accompanied you? I would ask who you visited to warrant such company. But I said I wouldn't pry into your private affairs." Valo answered honestly with a shrug, he intended to keep that promise. If she wanted to share that kind of info with him, she would do so on her own terms not because he meddled into it.
Valo listened end as Verena gave off a list of people that helped train her various elements. The fire mages eyes popped again when she said a certain name that he knew very well. "Suna Hoshi!? You know Suna?! And she taught you sound magic? The blue haired elf is a friend of mine as well. We took a mission together some time ago, and her reputation has grown significantly." Valo said in a proud voice, he was genuinely proud of his friends doing well and making names for themselves. "And if you know Suna that means you also have to know Hans! My dark brooding, sword wielding buddy." Valo considered both Suna and Hans close friends, friends that he give his life for without hesitation.
"I haven't met Chisana personally but I know of him. He's a potential rival I keep in mind. The rising star in the Black Bulls squad." Valo said rubbing his chin. He had a few rivals in his own mind now that he thought about it. Being a rival to the fire mage didn't make one his enemy, it was just particular people he knew of or already met that he saw potential in or have already achieved a lot. Some captains and vice captains also being apart of that list. "But any friend of Suna and Hans is a friend of mine, so we'll handle this threat no problem. Together." Valo said with a grin. He meant his words too, though he was just getting to know Verena he would treat her as an ally and friend from this point on.
"A lack of inspiration..." the words left Valo's lips as he as pondering what could cause such a thing. The Green Mantis knight struggled to relate. Valo was the type of person who was always driven, always looking forward to the next goal or challenge so he could test himself and get better and stronger. His ambition and drive was all he really had at the end of the day, so he had yet to experience a lack of inspiration. But maybe he could help Verena somehow, maybe doing this mission together was exactly what she needed to gain that inspiration again.
"Hrrmmm. Verena I think us meeting today was intended by forces of the unknown. Be it fate or random chance. Perhaps today is the day you find that inspiration again." Valo said confidently. It was rare when he went on about the forces of the unknown, and things at play that no one could explain. The fire mage was of the belief that whatever you send out into the world, be it wants or needs or even beliefs the universe responds to it in kind. It was odd. But he believed it wholeheartedly.
He said that as he walked into the hospital being greeted by some ladies of the staff. "Aaahhh. Your back! If you are looking for Laric he is down the hall here, go three doors down on your left and he should resting inside." one of the ladies said pointing down the hall.
Valo nodded in return and followed her instructions down the hall. Soon enough they were at Laric's room, for just a split second he looked surprised to see not just Valo but Verena as well. The fire mage took notice of this but thought little of it at the moment, maybe Verena's presence caught him off guard.
"Ah! you made it back safely! What a relief. Tell me what brings you both back to me? If it's about my injury i'm fine they said I should be back to work tomorrow with no issues!" Laric said sitting up in his bed.
Valo before walking in left his silver staff outside the door. His long Green Mantis cloak covered his body entirely, leaving only his head visible "Thats good to hear. I'm glad you are in good health. But what brings us back to you is information. I was hoping you might know more about the attacks? Or if you could remember what else you saw when they attacked. I want to be rid of the threat entirely so Sosshi doesn't have to worry about talking beasts with axes in the future."
Laric looked away for a moment before answering him. "Mmm. Now that I think about it. I did see quite a few of them standing in the background. Tell me how many did you take down when you went over?"
"Just two."
"Just two? No no. There was more I am sure of it. Perhaps realizing a threat was coming the others fled. There was definitely more hiding in the trees as if they were heading back somewhere."
"A test?" Valo asked himself looking down at the ground, before looking at Verena. "Maybe it was a test. They left only two there to gauge our strength and come back with more numbers for a real attack." He looked at Laric again. "Did they look any different from the others?"
"Aaah. I can't remember the details that much I'm sorry. My head is starting to hurt." Laric replied holding his forehead. It seemed he was still in a little bit of pain.
Valo took a step back about leave the room, giving Verena the chance to ask any questions if she had any.

Valo acknowledged something she already knew as true. Yes, it would be quite difficult to have a captain set time to train one who wasn't even in their squad. However, Verena had specifically sent him a letter both requesting that he personally be with her during her visit with her father, and that after she wished to learn fire magic.[break][break]
Verena wasn't an expert on Valo's character or person, obviously. But still, she could at least guess the type of person that he was pretty well. So she was confident that he would react in two ways. Whatever was the outward expression would be to mask the internal expression. That was what she was pretty confident in. "...Truthfully, the only reason I requested Ardere specifically was I heard he is someone who has overcome fear. I was a little naive in thinking that, but it worked out well enough," Verena began to say, before contemplating speaking on the latter half of Valo's statement.[break][break]
Ultimately, she decided saying anything about it was not in her best interest. She would respectfully bow her head, smiling a little. There was no reason to tell him that the person she was visiting was her own father. There was no reason to tell Valo that her father was a monster among men. He didn't need to know that about her. It was likely for the best that he didn't.[break][break]
However, while she was ruminating on that, Valo burst into excitement, causing her surprise. He was friends with Suna as well? Verena couldn't help but let out a small giggle as she listened to the man describe Suna and Hans. "Yes, I know them quite well. I actually met Suna before she was dating Hans," she said, as if proud of the fact.[break][break]
Of course, she knew that Hans and Suna had done far more together than she and her elven friend had. It wasn't a contest, but she did wish that she spent more time... she was just so busy these days. She needed a moment to sit back and relax. To reflect and just unwind... it was probably about time that she return to the Basin after all of this. But she didn't want to do so alone... the brunette's mind started wandering as she was in thought.[break][break]
Of course, distracted by her own thoughts as she was, Verena was still listening as Valo talked about Chisana. A potential rival? Interesting. Valo was adamant about growing stronger. Though Verena herself didn't really see a point in rivals, having someone to compete with as a sort of measuring of your growth was never a bad idea. Still, it wasn't exactly something she cared enough to pursue. The only measuring stick she felt was vital to her own growth was her herself. She could always do better.[break][break]
"It's funny you say that." Verena noted when Valo mentioned something akin to destiny. Though, despite her choice of words, she wasn't exactly smiling -- she had returned to her usual stoic, doll-like expression. "Ardere said something like that. You two really are a lot alike. I don't think it'll be much longer at all with your current pacing where his status as the strongest fire mage can be questioned. But perhaps you're right; I might find that inspiration for a golem soon."[break][break]
It went without saying that Ardere was the strongest fire mage in Clover. One could make a point for Vulkan, but his lack of control made him more of a hazard in most scenarios. Not to mention, that was with Lava magic -- similar, more destructive, but it lacked the ... warmth... she supposed that could come from fire magic. Of course, she didn't hold Vulkan in contempt. It wasn't as if he couldn't fight in most scenarios, and the man was regarded as one of the more powerful Magic Knights for a very good reason.[break][break]
Verena followed Valo to the hospital and towards the quarters where this Laric was to be. Verena herself had nothing on her (aside from her usual attire) beyond the marking on her right hand, a "parting" gift she supposed. She listened quietly as Valo and Laric exchanged information. She wasn't a true Magic Knight, it wasn't her place to say anything right now. However...[break][break]
When Valo asked her opinion, she shook her head. "Without outside influence, not even mana beasts can develop that sort of instinct. That's a human quality, one that doesn't exist in the animal kingdom. If we're dealing with minotaur, we should still be up against animals -- no matter how physically superior they might be -- or smart enough to use weapons. It's more likely they were just at the bottom akin to a wolf pack and were left there to prevent anyone to look for their territory. Which means that they likely settled near somewhere near Sosshi," Verena responded.[break][break]
Placing a hand under her chin, she seemed to be deep in thought as Valo stepped out of the room. "Please get well. I hope for a quick recovery for you. We'll handle this curse quickly enough," Verena said before bowing out and meeting Valo.[break][break]
...A test. That was still feasible. After all, they were still beasts. They could be tamed. And that meant they were open to outside influence. She wasn't the paranoid type, however. For now, she would keep this thought to herself instead of trying to draw any unnecessary conclusions. Flexible thinking was important in moments like these, but the most logical conclusion that could be made was that those two were simply there to guard territory that the Minotaur claimed as their own.[break][break]
"Let's search the near where Laric's attack was at. We're likely to get attacked if we get too close to their territory, so as a precaution we should probably stick together. Just in case of unexpected situations. I can send scout golems to survey the area as well."

"Don't need a reason to seek strength."
Valo took a mental note of Verena's opinion on the matter, it made sense allot of sense. The beasts leaving just a few behind to stop anyone from getting deeper into their territory. Meaning the answers probably are back where that initial attack on Laric was, or somewhere close by to it. Valo took hold of his weapon before he left the hospital, pondering on what the next move would be. It made perfect sense for the to do more investigations back where they came from, and see if lead to anything else.
The summoner offered to send out scout golems just in case another attack happened which was imminent. Valo nodded in agreement with her. "Thats a good idea." he said, he was going to continue but was interrupted with the screams and shouts of a few people running towards them.
"They’re back!! They're Back!! They got further in the town!! " a middle aged women was running at her fastest speed towards the two, her face full of panic and desperation. Valo met her half way with a look of concern on his face, he didn't expect another attack to happen this soon. Nor did he bet on them coming in further into the town, they are getting angrier and bolder it seemed like. "Tell us where." he said, his voice calm but stern placing his had on her arm gently.
"The local markets near the exit! Please hurry!"
Valo turned towards Verena "I'll meet you there." he said before running off at his full speed leaving just a gust of wind from his path. There was no time to make some kind of plan if the attacks were happening at this very moment, and they were no venturing deeper into Sosshi. They just had to get there as fast as possible and stop them, and that is exactly what Valo planned to do. In his full sprint he dashed towards the same exit as last time, he wasn't worried about Verena getting a good look at her summons she would be fine.
In just a few minutes Valo arrived at the scene, the fire mage took notice of six minotaurs this time. Each one was bigger than the ones from last time, they also looked a bit more experienced if that was the word. The six large minotaurs were about to start destroying some of the outside tables and markets. One minotaur had a large axe in it's right hand raised and swung it down aiming to split a table of goods in half, but as it's arm came down the axe was stopped by Valo's staff! The fire mage getting there in the nick of time! "Let's not do that." he said to the mana beast, the minotaur met eyes with the fire mage and it was clear the beast was not only annoyed but angry.
Valo had his right hand extended holding onto his long silver staff, that was used to block the minotaur's attack. With a quick flick of his wrist Valo used his weapon to smack the minotaur's round shield breaking right through it. Right after that Valo would waste no time going on the complete offense, he had to be careful though to not harm anyone or break any unnecessary merchandise on the tables. Using his speed he rushed in towards the one minotaur and hopped in the air using some rotation he landed a spinning arial kick against the minotaur's head with enough force to put him down completey. Leaving the other five pretty stunned he did so with very little effort.
Valo looked towards them with a focused face that turned into a confidant one, he brought his left hand up and gestured for the other minotaurs to come to him. The remaining five looked at each other and then focused on Valo, each one bringing their shields and axes up to the their chest. Two in particular were standing side by side and started to rush towards the fire mage together.
Working together...interesting.
Valo met their gaze with a smirk on his face, he at least had their full attention now which was a good thing. Cause now their focus wasn't on destroying more of the town and hurting innocent bystanders. As the two minotaurs came running in, Valo was twirling his staff and spun his body swinging his staff in the same motion he landed an extremely quick but powerful smack on the minotaur from the left side knocking it out for the count. The next one had momentary pause, before continuing to dash in and swinging it's axe wildly and desperately at the fire mage. Who was avoiding it's heavy attacks effortlessly, with the difference in speed between them it was much to easy. With sways, half steps, ducks and turns Valo waited for the perfect opportunity to strike with a counter, and when it came he landed a fast punch with his right hand right into the minotaur's gut bringing it down.
This left three more to deal with, but the fire mage was confidant that his partner Verena and her summons would come in and deal with them accordingly.

Not long into the potential planning phase of things were the two interrupted by a frantic woman. The woman didn't even need to speak up; the brunette had a feeling that the minotaur had made another appearance. But she felt it was too soon. And the fact it just so happened to happen when they had stepped away from where the entrance was at. Was she overthinking it? ...Probably. It wasn't as if it was unheard of for beasts to attack others when their own was hurt. That sort of "revenge" wasn't unique to people.[break][break]
Yet for that to happen, they would have needed to have found the bodies. Did that mean they had something like scouts? Again, not unheard of, but Verena couldn't fathom the idea of something like minotaur having such a system. Scouts weren't necessary for predators, and for Minotaur especially. It was already strange that they were working together with some sort of chain of command -- some sort of uniform pack. She always thought of them as lone hunters who didn't share. But then again, there was still a lot about minotaur that was simply just not known.[break][break]
Of course, Valo was the first to leave. Verena couldn't have even kept up with him if she tried. The best she could do was hurry out of the hospital, at which point making a golem that would let her chase after Valo and head towards the markets. She had opted to do so with Kikka to get a birds-eye view of things but had also summoned two additional versions as a just in case. As she flew above, she tried looking out past the gates to see if she could see anything unusual, knowing that things wouldn't be ending till they took care of all of the literal bull-headed beasts.[break][break]
Unfortunately, no such thing came up -- not that she could afford to spend too much time looking. Her destination was quickly approaching and taking advantage of Valo's presence, the other two Kikka golems were sent dive bombing right into the Minotaur who was focused on Valo. However, there was still the one remaining, and Verena couldn't use the same tactic on the golem she was currently flying on.[break][break]
By the point she had arrived, Valo had already exterminated the two minotaur who were coming at him together, so there were three bodies around him. That left a remainder of one. She needed to get closer; she couldn't just summon a golem in the air; though Michail was capable of limited flight, his presence was far too intimidating, and these weren't enemies where she needed to go all out against. Strategically speaking, Sonia and her weaker golems would be ideal -- Sonia especially due in part to its speed and strength being noticeably higher than the previous two.[break][break]
Her crimson eyes darted over the town as she readied her next phase. Though people had managed to run away, they needed to keep the destruction minimal. They were stronger than these beasts still, which meant that there was the expectation of being able to protect as much of the town as possible. All the more so given the state, Sosshi usually found itself in and the unfortunate history surrounding it. It wouldn't be fair to the people.[break][break]
And that was when Verena had a grand realization. It would be a simple enough task to simply summon the golem even now and use this same flying golem to catch it. From there, she could simply drop it right on top of that surviving minotaur. The drop would be just beyond the estimated reach of the beast, something that was especially plausible given her birds-eye view. Not to mention, the beast needed to be careful -- attacks from the ground and sky were what he was dealing with now, and both of its opponents were far superior to it. But that didn't mean they'd win.[break][break]
...no, that wouldn't be ideal. At times like this, the best thing Verena could do was... "Dive down," she ordered, holding onto her flying golem as intensely as she could.[break][break]
Swooping down right towards the beast as though she was about to make a repeat of the two other golems who had been incapacitated from the collision--one of which was even destroyed from the strike, a Minotaur being able to take one out with it. The Minotaur raised its ax up in anticipation. She expected this. A vertical swing was the most efficient way to deal with an enemy coming right at you if you intended to take them out rather than play defense.[break][break]
As she got closer, so too could she inspect the angling of the girth of the arms, their length, and the general muscle mass. It wouldn't take much effort for the minotaur to swing the ax down and take Kikka out with it, as well as probably part of her own mana skin, or possibly more if she wasn't careful. But a beast was, after all, still a beast.[break][break]
The beauty of animal instinct was that with it came predictable factors that Verena had learned to take advantage of for the purpose of hunting, be it docile rabbits or predator wolves. She might have preferred avoiding the latter, but by no means was she incapable of dealing with them. As she drew closer, she ordered Kikka to stop. This order was given roughly within two seconds before they would have come into contact with the Minotaur's ax, followed by another immediate order to advance and grab the minotaur's face, slamming it into the ground.[break][break]
The scenario played out as such: The Minotaur brought its ax down, but Verena had anticipated how much time it would need to bring it down compared to the delay between commands as well as the golems actual ability to stop its forward momentum. In that single instant, the followed-up order came into being, as the Golem advanced, grabbing the Minotaur's snout and smashing it back into the ground with a heavy thud. In an attempt to play it safe, Verena ordered her golem to stomp on it with all of its force while it was still grounded... the result was... a little messy, but nothing gory, at least.[break][break]
Verena dismounted from Kikka, as well as dispersed of her disturbing works. "...Something is very off about the Minotaur. They're supposed to be rare, aren't they?" she asked the Magic Knight.

COMBAT SUMMARY
[break]
[attr="class","verenaver2scroll2"] TL;DR it's like 5a.m. lmfao. i just had to get it out. [break][break]
Element: Cloth[break]Rank: Intermediate[break]Size: Up to 6 meters tall[break]Mana Cost: 20 | 10[break]Type of Golem: Balanced[break]Applicable Perks: Puppet Master, Reinforced Golems[break]Description: Matching the theme of Billy, Verena took inspiration from the horrors of the town right down to the name. Tired of her own inability to fly, as well as seeking the freedom that came with experiencing that sort of rush of mobility in the Dungeon with Bengal, the heiress went to work on crafting a new type of golem, unlike any other she had so far.[break][break]It possesses an impressive wingspan that's roughly equal in size to its height, and if being used for transportation, then it can carry up to two people; however, its speed is decreased to 10m/s if it is being used in such a manner. In addition, she can make additional Kikka for every 30 [CON] she has, maxing out at a total of 4 additional golems to summon.[break][break]Though she still believes the human form to be more ideal for the purpose of crafting golems, this looks like a perfectly ordinary bird made from the purest of white cloth. Just... an exceptionally large bird. Without a beak. And talons that are surprisingly ...unsharp. Instead, the feet look more like... human hands, made from the same color that matches the face in terms of the color of cloth. Also, it lacks a beak; instead, it possesses an eerily resemblance to a human face, sewed on with large blue eyes so as to stare seemingly right into a person's soul. The color of the cloth used to replicate the face is very similar to Verena's own skin color.[break][break]When used for offensive purposes, Kikka's most notable approach to dealing with things involves using its feet(?) to pick up adversaries, then toss them or drop them, depending on how heavy they are. It also possesses a nasty headbutt. Both instances deal intermediate levels of damage.
