In this world, Magic is Everything. All people, all races, are granted with the power to perform mystical and magical feats via grimories, mystical tomes granted to each and every child on their 15th birthday. Those blessed by the mana can have their names written down in legend.

Time has felt like it has been fading away for some time now. Darkness surrounds the dreams like an every lasting plague. Hearing laughs echo through the empty space like a stadium of cheer. It was such a painful agonizing way to live a life. If you could even call this living.[break][break]
Voices from the man named Klaus was one of them voices that echoed. What has he accomplished since this everlasting darkness began? Has he managed to find what he was looking for? Or what about the Daemon that invaded Raque? Was that creature successful in their siege? [break][break]
Why were these questions all he could think about this entire time? His family have probably been wondering where he has been. Which, by now they are probably used to him disappearing. Spirits only know that the shadow mage has become familiar with this.[break][break]
It is as if Klaus, Daemons, or even the spirits just want him to stay in the darkness. His spells are part of the embodiment of darkness, and even act as a representative to the lord of shadows. What more could this dreaded world want with him. All he has cared for is to protect his country, and what does he get?... darkness....[break][break]
By now the daemon has probably already taken half of the Kingdom, Klaus obtained whatever it is that he seeks, and the world he once knew is gone....[break][break]
”Now... now... now... You’ve made all of this too easy since the beginning...” The voice covering up the echoing laughter. Trying to give a reply to that voice, but his own voice won’t even emerge from his mouth. This did not cause the shadow mage to become panic. Being treated like this by the darkness.[break][break]
After the voice echoed throughout the space; silence followed for what feels like forever. The current moment feels like a room of pure madness waiting to erupt. That is... until the same voice began a sinister laughter. ”Now is the time everything will begin to make sense....” It speaking again before the echoing words faded into the distance.
[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] The Blake family was comprised of people with tragic beginnings and ends, people united under a fractured banner for far too long...and for Zaven Blake, the captain of the Golden Dawn magic knight squad, and the now de facto head of the Blake family...he was finding a way to ensure his family’s safety and longevity while also working on a vision of a better Clover. Word came to him at the newly made Blake Estate inside of the Shadow Grand Mana Zone that Naxel had finally begun to stir, the family member that Zaven thought he had lost from a coma he had been in since the fall of Raque. This prompted Zaven to make immediate leave for the Azure Deer base, and as he ascended into the air on a darkened broom he took a small look back and saw that the construction on the unearthed area he took hold of was starting to show its face...it would not be long until he could reveal his project. [break][break]
Zaven arrived at the Azure Deer base sooner than he had hoped and when he arrived he was only questioned for a moment before he walked past the members of the squad to where Naxel was being kept. Upon his arrival he was met by an attractive looking female medical mage that informed Zaven of Naxel’s current situation. With a nod, Zaven just went inside anyway and could feel a trickle of mana coming from that man laying on the bed, so he shook his head and then sat down near the bed on a bench and waited for a bit. If the mana source got stronger it was possible that Naxel could wake up that day, something that would be largely beneficial to the Blake family as well as the Azure Deer itself. He looked at the medical mage and signaled her over...He wanted to test a theory. "Can you send word to Lydia Ravencrest...tell her it is an urgent matter from the Blake family." Zaven said these words and that was it...he waited.
[attr="class","florencetext"] It was surprisingly a not so busy day for the vice-captain of the crimson lions. It was in large part thanks to the royal knight exams were just around the corner. This meant that most of the higher-ranked mages were focusing on last-minute training for the exams. This of course meant less paperwork for her deal with but it wasn't like there wasn't any to do. After all, missions still needed to be done. Thankfully Lydia didn't have to worry about anything going on in Carrion until after the exams as Victoria was taking over for the week to give the pink-haired mage some time to relax before things got crazy. Seeing as she had already finished her paperwork earlier in the day the head of the Ravencrest was relaxing with a nice glass of wine while looking out the window of her office. [break][break] Well, she was until there was a knock at her door. She would have the mage come inside and much to her surprise it was an azure deer and not another crimson lion. Um how can I help you? As she got the run down and that she was requested personally by Zaven for a Blake family matter she'd let out a sigh. So much for some time off. The Ravencrest and Blakes had close ties with one another. It was as strong as ties as the Lilygates had with Lydia's family but it was still more than most. [break][break] So it wasn't like she could just turn down the offer. After all, it wasn't common for Zaven to do something like this. It only took a few minutes for Lydia to arrive at the room Zaven was at with the same azure deer from before. Lydia would look around the room for a moment before her gaze turned to the mage on the bed. She was aware of who he was and that he was family to the golden dawn captain but not how close of family. It was at this point the glass mage was pretty sure she knew why she was here. Her focus would then turn to Zaven. I assume I'm here for him? Give me the rundown of his state and what you'd like for me to try and do.

The voice had gone silent for what felt like forever now. ”Now is the time everything will begin to make sense....”, the voice had last spoken to he Noble. It was a confusing statement to what it was actually referring too. The voice didn’t sound like any voice he had heard before, so what is it that will begin to make sense?[break][break]
One theory to this madness was something that has haunted him for a while. This could possibly be Klaus’s constant nightmares that continue to haunt the Noble. Seeing him where he actually wasn’t, hearing his voices around every corner, and knowing that he was going to appear every night in his dreams. Living with these means of torchere could be the key.[break][break]
Another possibility could be from the daemon during the Battle of Raque. Little was known on them by the Noble at the time of that attack. Whatever it was could be the one trying to speak to him now. However, if that was the case, did everyone else get defeated by the creature as well? We’re they all dead, or being kept in a darkened state like Naxel was now?[break][break]
“Sigh...” Soundless... Empty... Nothingness.... Hearing words in his head was the only way he knew that he spoke. Everything was still like an abyss of darkness surrounding him to where he only had his thoughts. His thoughts and everything that continued haunting him. Not even the greatest memories could break through all of this. “Mother.... Father....”[break][break]
“It will all be over soon.... Everything will become clear.... Help will be upon you this time....” The voice speaking again, but would suddenly stop as quickly as he started. It was very odd how the voice had just stopped. Like it was scared of something, and left before whatever it was could get to him. What was happening now?...[break][break]
“Mana....” Speaking to himself within his mind once again. Feeling a faint mana signature that he has felt before. Mana that was way too familiar for him to stop thinking about where it is coming. Then, another one appearing along with the first faint signature. Who’s mana signatures are these? Why are they so damn familiar to him? Especially within the emptiness of this dark abyss...[break][break]
[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] When Lydia arrived Zaven was just sitting there, meditating...he was not doing much otherwise...the power of his spirit was being filled again with the energy Hraban had told him about before. He was trying to process it all, and while doing so he was trying to link his mana to his cousin. The thread was there, lingering feelings of confusion...sorrow...the way mana worked in the world often baffled Zaven, but more so since he started to really take his spiritual training seriously. It was not long until the next piece of the puzzle arrived...Lydia Ravencrest. Zaven snapped from his meditative state as Hraban appeared on his shoulder and just watched the next scene play out in his mind as he usually did. Zaven came over to the Crimson Lion Vice Captain and extended his arm in greeting to shake her hand. Then she spoke as if already knowing why she was called to this place, honestly it always made Zaven uneasy to be around Lydia...she reminded him too much of Silas and it made him remember days he had long left in the past...for good reason. Naxel Blake, my cousin, and mutual beneficiary as such with the namesake. He was placed in a coma in the attack on Raque a while back, since then there has not been any real work in his mana signature or movement of his eyes, yet he breathes on his own just fine. At first I thought it was extreme trauma that brought it on, but now I am thinking it might be the work of an advanced curse considering his mana has started to strengthen itself as of late. I would like for you to try and use some of my mana to surge through his own, possibly or if there is a better, more direct way to jump start his mana to blossom again I am all ears.” Zaven finished before almost shrugging, he was truly at a loss at the current time with this. Zaven needed support and to have his family grow, when Naxel was proven to at least be alive and not showing signs of mental decomposition...it meant that the strength of the Blake family was at least alive and well within the generation of his cousin.
[attr="class","florencetext"] As Lydia entered the room Zaven would already be waiting to shake her hand. It was the most common way for the two high-ranking mages to greet each other. After the formalities were done Zaven would in fact confirm why the vice-captain figured she was called to the Azure Deer base. Yeah I heard about that and was also there. I always found it strange he went into a coma randomly. If it was just from shock or trauma he would have been up by now. If it is a curse it's an old one as the ability to put someone into a cursed sleep has been a lost art for years now. The glass mage would then pause for a moment as she thought about the last half of what the head of the Blakes said. I don't have spells or rituals that can surge your mana inside of him. [break][break] However, I do know of an elven ritual that will let me do so with my mana. It should also take care of the curse but I can't say for certain it will work. Do you want me to try it? Assuming the captain wanted Lydia to try the ritual she would turn to the nurse and send her to get her some paint or ink so she could draw markings. While the nurse was gone Lydia would turn to Zaven. Take his shirt off I need to draw the markings on his skin. As Zaven was doing so Lydia would open her grimoire to the back pages that had elven writing in it that she wrote herself and weren't actual spells she could use but rituals. [break][break] After she found the page she was looking for Lydia would take her own top off revealing a tank top underneath her main shirt. At the same time, the nurse would arrive with ink that could be used on the skin. The pink-haired mage would take it from the other women before picking up a knife and handing them both to Zaven. I need you to put some of your own blood in the ink since you are related to him. Once Zaven did so and handed it back to Lydia she would start to draw elven symbols on Naxles arms and chest. It would take about an hour as she had to be perfect in detail. Once she finished with the azure deer she would then start to draw symbols on her own arms. [break][break] They would look to be the same as those who weren't well versed in elven. However if one was they would be able to tell they were different but wouldn't know what the difference did unless they knew the ritual as well. Once the vice-captain finished up with her markings she would place her hands on his chest. Lydia would then start to focus her mana on the markings on her arms which would start to glow. However, unknown to Lydia at the time her hair would turn orange and her eyes would become golden. The markings on her arms would also start to glow. The markings on Naxel would then start to glow in response. [break][break] He would then be able to hear a female voice telling him it was time to wake up if the ritual worked. Regardless of if it worked or not the markings on both of their bodies would vanish as the ritual was over. The vice-captain would then turn towards Zaven her eyes and hair still a different color than normal. The ritual is done now all we can do is wait and see if it worked.
