After news hit home of Hinokami's excellence in reprimanding the squadron of bandits from Kikka, he was quickly instructed from the vice-captain to make ways towards Sosshi in hopes of quelling a ferocious beast that was endangering the village's many citizens. Unlike his previous excursion this time he was gifted with another member of his knightly squad, that being Leonard Vermillion. As well as a potential aide being spoken of whom would meet the two lion cubs if he or she made it there in time.
With usual magic broom in hand and blood red grimoire on waist it was time to begin. The grand gates of the Crimson Lion base began opening, to reveal the majestic spectacle not many got to lay their eyes on, being that of the Royal Capital. The lush scenery and elegance of the capital made Hinokami even more susceptible to his ambition in protecting this sacred kingdom, hearing the lively upbeat sounds of its inhabitants and witnessing the vibrant intricacies dotted around the many buildings and walkways. Seeing such tranquility gave Hino hope that true and absolute peace would one day be attainable, a notion he'd begun to put into practice since his joining of a magic knight squad.
A flock of birds flew overhead flapping their wings in unison and letting out the same cries as they started disappearing into the distance, Hinokami lifted his head watched them go by before displaying a small smile to himself."Freedom. Oh how I wish I was a bird" Hino yawned as he placed a hand over his mouth, though he hadn't formally met the Vermillion that would be joining him on this endeavor he felt that they'd get along regardless. As if on cue the sounds of incoming footsteps made themselves known, Hino swiveled on his feet taking in the new appearance of his squad member. His hair was what first caught his attention that being a fierce orange that lit up his head, then the finely designed robes that adorned his person.
"You must be Leonard, I'm Hinokami it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance my friend" A look of bold bravery was plastered across his face as he spoke these words, eager to get started Hino twirled the broom in his hand before sitting on it sideways as it levitated in the air."We'd best get a move on, I have a feeling that our other party member is already there" Hinokami's voice now held the sense of urgency that coincided with his body, lifting himself slightly higher at this point readying himself for flight the moment Leonard had finalized his own preparations.
Noah was just casually waiting near the colossal gate that he remembered from his initial arrival to the Royal Capital. Full of anticipation he kept scanning all the people there were passing him by. This was the first job he ever accepted and it was instantly with the members of Magic Knights! Not knowing them was a little weird for him, but at the same time this experience could be really beneficial to both his social as well as the combat skills. How will I know its them? Will they even recognize me? His mind was spiraling down over some really silly problems which in the end probably wouldn´t matter at all. Taking couple of deep breaths and going over some of his notes helped him ease his mind of these unpleasant thoughts and he started to focus on the nice ones – he finally got his broom! This was something Noah wanted for a long time and would make his life much easier if gotten earlier but it was still really exciting, knowing that all the longer travels from now on will be done in the air and that the occurrence of blisters on his feet will be minimized. Stuffed backpack was lying on the ground leaning towards his legs. He bowed down just to double check if everything was packed.
“Grimoire, yes… Water, yes …. Some food, uh yes but definitely not enough .... Notebook, yes …. Broom, yes” It always helped him to say these things loud just to make sure. Everything was set, not that he had that many things to pack anyway since place of stay in the Royal Capitol was still a question. Having these random thoughts helped him to relax some more to the point where he actually got excited to meet the other two members of his group. His initial expectations of snobby adolescents were slowly fading into the background. Oh Lord if they are noble please don’t let them be bullies. This was something he was generally afraid of. Growing up the consensus was that nobles are rich and important and look down on people like Noah, however his experience was very different so far. His encounters with nobles have been quite peaceful and they treated him as respectfully as they possibly could, or at least he would assume. After few moments passed Noah was getting a little tired of the waiting and was also running out of things to pass time. He glanced on his grimoire for a bit and opened it; there wasn’t many spells so far, but this would be first time he could possibly use them in real combat and that was stimulating by itself. “Ok where are they I am pretty sure they were supposed to be here ten minutes ago.” He spoke loudly, hoping that two of his teammates were around and would hear his complaining and potentially come and speak to him.

[attr="class","silasreescroll"] Leonard walked at a quick pace around the streets of the Capital. He did not want to be late. Today he had been assigned a mission to carry out and the Vermilion was ever so eager to prove himself time and time again. Besides, this time he would have to fight things, which was something he was particularly good at doing. Of course he was not going to be alone, he would be tackling the job with a squadmate and an extra coming in from outside.

"Leonard Vermillion, at your service." He said with a bow to the other fiery mage that was waiting for him and was already raring to go. Seeing as Hinokami was not going to entertain any small talk, the Vermillion would just cut to the chase and signal the small cat size spirit trailing behind him to jump on his shoulder. The molten sabertooth tiger scoffed, mumbling something about not needing help but taking his place on the mage's shoulder regardless.

A snap of his fingers and a broom would fly out from seemingly nowhere only to land in front of the carrot-haired boy. He would hop on, fix his gloves a little bit before motioning to the other guy to make way towards the third member of their team. He should be around the capital somewhere, but he had no time to check where. In any case, he was trusting the other Crimson Lion to show him the way to their last addition before setting off towards the area where they had to do the monster killing.

Hinokami's warming amber eyes watched intently as the small lava beast maneuvered across it's owner, such flexibility and poise made the young boy smile to himself with awestruck eyes. Other than reading about their phenomena within the scrolls or tomes he'd often be engrossed in, Hinokami had never laid eyes on a spirit within the entirety of his life. Contrary to popular belief, this particular spirit wasn't at all frightening in it's appearance and stature. Nonetheless, once he had seen his comrade and squadmate with the mana enriched creature Hino realized that his journey to strength was far from complete. "If you don't mind me asking Leonard, but where and how did you find such a fully fascinating feline" Hino let out a quick smirk noticing his accidental usage of alliteration. Though he wasn't much of a talker especially when it came to missions or otherwise important ventures, the acknowledgement of the beast seemed to take over that latent personality of the boy.
The breeze was starting to pick itself up now, ruffling the loose hairs on his head and the intricately designed mantle on his shoulders. As soon as Leonard had boarded his broom Hino gave him a swift nod as the two rose upwards and into the air. Even though there was little information regarding who or what their partner was going to be, the excitement still welled up within the Kasai boy. The potentials of their magic, personality, battle prowess and even their clothing choice all bounded around in his head. It was safe to say that this specific endeavor would be incredibly beneficial for all parties, in their own ways of course. From their now birds-eye viewpoint the many citizens residing within these magnificent walls could be seen partaking in varied activities, the ancient yet immaculate buildings stood proudly overlooking it's inhabitants with such a graceful presence. After a few moments of maintained flight Hinokami began to wonder on the current whereabouts of their supposed ally. Then it hit him, through the vast sea of visitors and citizens there was an irregular person stationary to all the others who moved through the sea like fishes in a school. Stark white hair, decorative garbs and a backpack that didn't leave the boy's arms. Gesturing to Leonard whilst they began to slow down Hinokami pointed downwards to the smaller mage standing near the all too familiar gargantuan gates of their kingdom.
The duo would then suddenly begin their descent unto the boy, Hino found his footing on the ground first and left his broom hovering in the air once he got off. Turning his attention to the unique form of their new comrade Hinokami stood firm and almost militaristic. "Good morning comrade, I assume you must be the designated wizard helping us on this case? My name is Hinokami, Hinokami Kasai. It's a pleasure to have someone such as yourself along with us during this time, now once the formalities are done I suggest we'd keep it moving. Who knows what's happening over in Sosshi" Hino's voice gripping to hold their attention as it held warm yet confident undertones. Sending a small smile towards Noah the Kasai kid move from his current positioning to sitting on his levitating broom. "No time like the present, come on gang" With his last words being said he chuckled heartily and zoomed off into the air, the destination of Sosshi stood strong in his mind. Looking behind him he expected his teammates to hastily follow suit, as the trio's first actual meeting gave Hinokami a feeling of happiness he hadn't felt in sometime. Actual competent allies. Perhaps there was hope for them yet.
The entrance of his teammates was far more spectacular than Noah could have imagined. Once two figures from the sky descended towards him there was no doubt; these were his companions. Noah made sure to have everything ready and stood straight when they landed. He didn’t want to seem annoyed as he was waiting for a little while now, but once young man named Hinokami started speaking Noah felt relief, they were indeed friendly and that was comforting. “Nice to meet you two, my name is Noah, uh … just Noah. It´s a pleasure to have this adventure with you. Hope my gravity magic will serve you well.” Big smile was present on his lips and he proceeded to get on his broom as well as the other two boys. Noah was a little busy checking out Hinokami, who was apparently a noble given his family name, as well as his speech was fairly eloquent. Noah was just happy that he wasn’t hostile. When he looked at the other young man present, his eyes were directly focused on a creature resting on his shoulder. “Is that a lava cat?” This came out of his mouth directly, without thinking, but it was a fact that Noah had a thing for feline friends. “Uh, sorry didn’t mean to be rude, but I haven´t seen anything quite like this before, it´s fascinating.” Thankfully they were already flying in air and the room for more awkward conversation just got thinner.
Passing various landscapes from Royal Capital never got old for young Noah. It was always exciting seeing new pieces of land he hadn´t seen before. They were already approaching Sosshi and besides thinking about his teammates and that lovely cat-like creature Noah realized that they were actually doing something. “Regarding the mission, from what I understood we are supposed to be heading to the outskirts of Sosshi and investigate a man that has witnessed these attacks of these … creatures?” Noah had actually no idea what those creatures were, as the mission didn’t state that but they will find out from the survivor anyway. “Given the fact that these creatures attack only merchants or any other individuals I would assume they are not that strong, but it would still be better if we knew about each other capabilities just so we can avoid any unnecessary complications. I use gravity magic, for both attacks and defense and can be supporting you if your magical abilities are more offensive.” Noah was thinking about anything else to say about him, but nothing currently came to mind, and they were approaching Sosshi anyway, so he just wanted to hear from his teammates and create at least a provisional strategy.
Everything seemed to be going really slow, and while the two mages seemed very nice and great to cooperate with, Noah just started feeling really anxious. Instead of suffering and possibly making the mission harder than it would normally be, he decided he would just leave so he wouldn’t slow the crimson mages down. “Uh excuse me, but I am afraid I won´t be able to continue this mission, but I am sure it is extremely easy task for two skilled mages as you and therefore I won´t be needed.” With this, he flew away on his broom.
