In this world, Magic is Everything. All people, all races, are granted with the power to perform mystical and magical feats via grimories, mystical tomes granted to each and every child on their 15th birthday. Those blessed by the mana can have their names written down in legend.

She'd sigh and find herself flopping on the ground in exhaustion.
What the literal hell did she think she was doing? She seemed fatigued- mentally and physically. She was just so done with this. What really happened with her father? Who set him up for death? It was almost like, everything was planned so perfectly. And she had zero ideas why. She was overwhelmed. What was she doing? Most bandits in the forsaken region were very secretive and to themselves in their secret little coves and huts and mess.
As she walked, she kept finding herself literally, well, finding something. But still, nothing came to her. Not yet. This was suicide. And if not setting oneself up for death then it was surely setting one up for torture for a young attractive female as herself. This was a place so crime-infested Magic Knights never really bothered to police these parts. There was no point. It was infested. So what was she doing here? Maybe, if she kept going every week... she could find her answer. It was dangerous but maybe she could. Anything was possible.
She could feel another presence via sixth sense near hear. Someone, was watching her? Who? Chishio glanced back, and twisted her neck, but when she did, nothing. Just the darkness between the shrubs and trees. She was surrounded by trees and found herself on a lonesome patch of grass on the earth floor. Was this person trying to attack her? They'd have another idea coming if so were the case. Then again, this was stupid. Walking into the land of bandits wasn't going to help her find who wanted her family dead! She'd like to think upon finding the right criminal she could get some sort of detail. Then again, she was a Magic Knight. She could always lie to get what she wanted.....
All she saw in front of her a few feet was a bag she brought with her. Feeling something in the shrubs she'd stood, "Show yourself! I don't have time to be followed! Come on!" and with that she turned her back against her belonging and went right where she heard the noise.
Nothing there.
When she turned around her bag was gone. And with that Chishio darted in that direction wanting to get her stuff back. This really was foolish? Or was it?
Crime Infested, those were the key words lingering in Mimir's mind as he roamed the wilderness of the Forsaken Region. Just a couple of days ago he was held up inside of a local pub in Rogue's Refuge. He was still new to the Land of Clover, so he had began to investigate its topography. What was the point of living in a new land if he was not going to learn its many locations. So, now he was far up north in the Forsaken Region. In the distance to his left, snow covered the top of a mountain like icing on a cake. The mountain was miles away from his location in the dense forest. It was also the location of the closest village to the forest he was currently in. To be honest, he was quite surprised with the size of the forest itself. The villagers from the village in the mountains said that it was one of the largest forests in the Forsaken Region and many people got lost in it everyday.
"I believe they said Murder Hills?" muttered Mimir trying to remember the name of the forest. Letting out a sigh, he would come to once again not care for the name. His body moved elegantly through the bushes and clumps of grass in his way, not a sound escaping from the gentle movements he made. The trees stood as tall as the largest buildings in the Noble Region, making him wonder if people could climb to the top of them. Taking his vision away from the trees, he would see a flock of crows take flight into the air at the same time hearing someone scream "Show yourself!". He would come to raise his eyebrow and break through a group of bundled trees. Dressed in a green robe, his appearance seemed to blend in with the nature itself while his magical signature was seemingly erased, as it always was. Unless you knew of his presence and exactly where he was located, you wouldn't be able to see him. So, he was surprised to see a young woman turn away from the direction he was in and begin running opposite of him.
Another faint memory would run through his mind "Most bandits in the forsaken region are very secretive and to themselves in their secret little coves and huts and mess." said the voice of no one in particular. It would all come together now. He was inside of a thick forest beneath the mountain under the night's sky. The name of the forest hadn't been Murder Hills, it was called Devil's Abyss. And the devils that roamed the forest preyed upon anyone that entered it. "Welp, she's dead." muttered Mimir before turning around from the direction the girl ran. He wasn't a bandit, so he didn't go around stealing people things, nor setting traps. Maybe the woman was seeing things being alone in the forest at night? Or maybe the bandits who called the forest their home had found their prey for the night? Either way, Mimir didn't care too much.
The girl with her odd appearance didn't interest him in the slightest and he could care less if she died or not. He didn't even feel that much mana seeping from the poles in her skin, so he doubted that she was someone of importance. Though, maybe she was... Maybe she was a damsel in distress that needed a little help? Maybe she was someone from one of those Magic Knight squads he had heard about and was lost? If so, she could most definitively defend herself. But if she was, she would be of huge importance to Mimir. His usually calm face would morph into that of a devil and in an instant it would revert back. Looking into the night's sky, the silver of the lunar object would reflect in his eyes that so longed for blood lust.
He could still hear the girl running towards whatever she thought she saw and from that point on Mimir's mind would change directions, along with his body. In a swift movement, he would spin his body on the heel of his feet and face the direction that the girl was running. Her body moving through a part of the forest that seemed like a road due to no trees being around it. He would make his way towards her, but not quickly. He was an artist. He was a man who waited for his prey to make a mistake and already she did. What would come out from tonight's events? Would the lion become the hunted, or would the devil that roamed the forest cease all to exist. Mimir was after all considered a devil on the battlefield back in his homeland. Maybe his new home was this forest and it had become his battlefield for tonight. "My offering to the gods above." spoke the crimson eyed viking, as he traveled behind the fair maiden not knowing what the future would bring.
Once before he was a bandit roaming the Spade Kingdom, but for his many acts of murdering and crimes all across the kingdom, the Magic Knights had labeled him a Rogue individual and tonight that was exactly what he was. There were many protagonists all across Spade, but he was exactly what he was. An antagonist who planned to become the main act. The Foolishness of the fair maiden had finally played its hand...
Chishio found herself running and frantically, moving branches away from her face. She panted wildly not from lack of endurance, but from working herself up emotionally. She was growing tired from rapid thoughts. She was trying to find the mana signature of the man who took her belongings. Was he a beast? Yes, but he hid his presence so well. He knew every inch of this forest and she hadn't. He was not one, but several steps ahead into the game. She hadn't had much with her just some gold. Plus, it was an ugly brown hide sack. Nothing feminine or pretty about it. She knew that taking too much would be a risk, but again, foolish to set it far away from her- even for a split second.
Regardless, she had just been targeted. Who else might've had their eyes on her? She was frustrated and had dashed for at least a good few minutes, probably 4, before giving up. Chishio was only going farther and farther away from leaving this hell. She felt nothing in terms of magic, and if anything was probably heading towards an even more dangerous situation.
It was best to let it go. She knew it and here she'd stand and look in various directions, whipping her head around. The moon and stars were coming out and that's the only thing that lit her face. Hills upon hills she saw a small flame that was meters and yards away. Perhaps, they were bandits camping out for tonight or signaling for someone. It was most certainly time to leave and to avoid that flame in case there was more activity.
Her thoughts to leave and to follow the stars came quickly but was soon to be interrupted.
Using sixth sense once more she'd snap her head around. A man, who seemingly was about her age. He held nothing in his palms. That's the first thing she noticed. Not even his face.
"You're not with the bastard who took my bag, right?" she'd ask the man in front of her. She was ready to fight if necessary and would even take a defensive stance. Her heart thumped in her chest. She was the lowest of the lowest in Magic Knights ranks. The woman was clearly upset from being taken advantage of. Then as she looked away from the lowest part of his body, she'd snap her neck away from him. There was a wolf howl.
"L-look....." she'd start to say then look him in the eyes.
He was kind of cute. Already stuttering and flustering, she relaxed.
Almost.
"What the hell do you want? You want to murder or torture me for fun? Kidnap me for ransom? I'm no one important," she'd lie, "You can move along now." she'd dare him. Chishio would begin to walk a distance from him, almost circling the man and try to sidestep past him.
Of course he'd say something to her, right? And when he heard his voice for the first time... or again. She came to a halt. For someone young he sounded a lot more mature vocally, ".Hnnn......gh" she'd get out not sure what to say to him. Chishio was just frustrated after all.
For six feet Mimir attempted to follow the woman, but he grew extremely annoyed with each step he took. She was just running to frantically for him and he didn't feel like chasing her, so he decided to leave their current location. The woman would have ran for at least a couple meters and a distance of three hundred meters before she turned around and found that not a soul was behind her. Thoughts could travel through her head making her believe that she could have been hallucinating. Not anyone could tell what would happen in the woman's head though. To put it in simplest form, Mimir didn't care at all.
Anyway, after he turned around he headed back towards the mountains. It was in the dead of night, but he could make it back to the small village in the morning before daybreak. This time he wouldn't please his gods and he could feel their anger gently wrapping around his body. However, someday in the near future he would indeed please them. Today just wasn't the day...
(You continued running and didn't state how long nor the distance, I took control over it. I turned around and left when I walked six feet.)
