Magnus awoke to the sound of a gentle knocking at his door, he yawned, smoothed his hair back with his large hand, and focused his one good eye on the doorframe in front of him. Though not loud enough to wake the others within his dwelling his voice would be loud enough to reach the door, and the person behind it. "You may enter" Magnus mused with a soft but stern tone of voice. He figured whoever was waking up this early before he was able to get his strict routine of 8 hours of beauty sleep had to have a good, or at least they better have a good reason. "I- I have news for you. Something you wanted me to keep an eye on in case they contacted us back about the mission you signed up for, the one with the photographer. They said you could come in around noon." Magnus scoffed at such short timing, he knew he signed up for the mission and as such he always made sure to keep it within the back of his mind, making sure to leave a few gaps in his otherwise busy routine and schedule every day just in case something like this was to happen, it usually did with many artists. Timing for many artists was something that could often be found lacking, or stretched.
He gave a small sigh and rubbed the back of his head. "You can tell them that I'll do it. After all, it's not every day an opportunity like this comes around." Not to mention the fact that Magnus had seen some of the photographer's work and the man took great pictures. One could never have too many good pictures of oneself. However, in his eyes, they had to be good to justify them. Having a large number of photos was nothing more than pure self-obsession, and he knew from experience that expressing yourself in such a way not only made one look mad but could drive one to the point of madness as well.
Glancing out his large light blue window seal and through its tempered clear glass, Magnus found himself gazing at the beginning shades of orange and pinks peeking through the sky. He still had enough time to he hadn't said the words to dismiss the servant in training outside of his door yet, so he figured they were still there to hear him out, and if they weren't it would be hell to pay once he woke up. However, his biological clock was tightly fixed, and as such there was a good chance he would wake up on his own, but one could never be too sure. He did have a habit of pushing his body after all, and lately, it didn't seem he had much time to relax since deciding to set out on his new goal. It was because of this that there were times in his upper age that he could feel his joints groan and tense, and others where he became a bit too winded when over-exerting himself, especially in the use of his magic. Even though through his rigorous work ethic and daily routine one would think age applied to him, outside of his face and silver hair, and they were right to think so with how well he hid the wear and tear of time. "Wake me up at my usual time, and if you would be so kind as to have a scented bath ready." From then on Magnus rested his back down onto his feathered pillow wrapped in a silk threaded pillowcase, wrapped himself gently in his silk sheets, and rested his eyes for just a bit longer.
He awoke with dreary eyes as the light tapping came from his oak door. He lifted his body up from his large bed, starred out the window, and with a yawn stated to the person outside the door that he was up. Today was the day after all, and now the time was quickly approaching, the words he had heard only hours earlier from outside his door felt like a fever dream, and he had to pinch himself to make sure he wasn't dreaming. He couldn't believe that he was chosen to be a model, of course, he thought of himself as beautiful, but it wasn't always that others did too. If anything even with his gentle and sweet personality most were more surprised than anything when it came to him. He made his way to the bathing area of the family's estate, or rather his estate away from the main family home as much as possible. Though they held up in the Noble region, Magnus liked to reside within the common region when he could, at least when he wasn't doing work for the family. He made his way to the bathing area, it was his favorite part of his house, a large room with an even larger bath that some might say could even be seen or used as a pool. Steam billowed out from the bath meaning it was hot just the way he liked it. He removed his nightgown, slippers, and sleeping cap, made his way into the water that was adorned with scents of lavender, and honey. The bath was calming and just what he needed. When he finished, he patted himself dry with the finest and most absorbent of towels, applied some special magically infused makeup to his scars to cover them up, brushed his hair, groomed, and made his way out of the door and into the town. Usually, he'd just ride his broom everywhere when not doing family work for convenience, but not wanting to risk his hair getting messed up he decided it was best to use the family carriage.
They reviewed the info he had for the mission, as well as for his big day modeling. "The Cloversationist, an elite fashion magazine whose covers are usually graced by only the most attractive of wizards needs a model for their upcoming weekly issue. Go pose for their flamboyant photographer until he is satisfied!" Magnus was only but too excited for this and upon arriving at the location wanted from the photographer. Magnus noticed that it was a large empty white room. "Ah, I suppose we'll be doing a white backdrop today," Magnus stated, hand on his chin in wonderment as he glanced around, only to hear a voice with a effeminate tone echo from the door to the left of him. "Not quite, big boy, and big you are." The flamboyant photographer stated as he stepped through the door frame into the all-white room. His dressing style was eccentric, to say the least, but it was clear what they meant by his appearance, his face was adorned by makeup, maybe even one of the brands Magnus used himself, his long straight brunet hair was tied into a ponytail. He wore a flowing outfit adorned with colors of light pink, hazelnut brown, and primrose yellow, with a black grimoire which was a surprising contrast to his otherwise bright appearance. His camera strapped neatly atop the tripod of which his assistant a rather ordinary-looking man brought in.
"Sorry about the background we, try and tailor it custom to all of our subjects, but you, I just couldn't put my finger on something once I got back the information on what you looked like. Though I'm sure a simple black background will do just fine in that suit of yours..." With that stated the man snapped his fingers his black grimoire would begin to glow an eerie shade of purple before the flamboyant photographer would speak the words "Ink Magic: Black Is the new Pink" the black viscous ink bellowed out from the man's grimoire, avoiding Magnus and the others entirely, coating over the background of the all-white room and within minutes they seemed to be plunged in almost complete darkness if not for the assistant stepping to the side and lighting a simple but effective magical lantern that cast light in which ways the photographer would then demand. "Alright ready when you are." Said the photographer, before musing on a bit more with the instruction "All you have to do is what makes you feel most comfortable, do some poses in that suit of yours and I'll handle it from there." From then on Magnus began to pose, at times flexing his muscles to bring out the definition is he fine-tailored suit.
However, as time went on it seemed both he and the photographer were getting bored of their simple black and white images, and seeing the look of displeasure on the photographer's face, Magnus offered a quick but effective solution. He called in the family members currently training under him, and they bought in a chest of clothes. The photographer laughed at Magnus and jokingly stated "One can never have too many outfits for a photo shoot" to which Magnus exclaimed back in an excited voice "exactly!" Rummaging around in the chest, Magnus pulled out a few new outfits, as the black ink formally held by the photographer's magic dimmed away into nothingness as if it was never staining the very environment around them, to begin with. The photographer had stated that as much as he liked the outfit he didn't see a black background doing it justice, and they hadn't secured another spot befitting the outfit change, all to which Magnus replied "leave it to me if you don't mind", the photographer and assistant raised an eyebrow, but he decided to indulge Magnus. Magnus grabbed his magical paintbrush set from the pouch that sat on the front of his grimoire satchel and begin to let his paint magic flow through them. All different shades of red, white, and gray begin to flow from the brush's tips, coating the walls around them transforming into new scenery. From then on Magnus left to go change, leaving the photographer to inspect his art and deem whether or not it was worthy of usage. The photographer approved but had some edits they wanted to make, and though they were slight, Magnus felt a sense of unease about the changes but ultimately grew to like the photographer's vision and artistic expression in the changes he had Magnus make. From then on Magnus began to take picture after picture with the man, eventually falling upon the sole image they'd use for the fashion magazine and leaving him with a couple of nice headshots in his suit.
With all the work said and done he made his way back home, having wrapped up the paperwork needed to be done at the location before leaving. It was his day off after all, and yet he had spent it working in a way, however, he had got to do something that he really enjoyed, and it made him feel downright ecstatic and beautiful. He never thought he'd get the pose for one of the Clover Kingdoms' best Magazines. He waited patiently for the day that he would see himself within it. The very thought made him giddy with excitement as the days passed. In fact, he couldn't help but check mail deliveries for his own copy, he even found himself researching more information about photography for future endeavors, wondering if there was a way to incorporate the skill and art of it into the Aurelius family. After all, if he enjoyed getting his photos taken so much he knew that other more "snobby" and "stuck up" nobles would pounce at the chance to do so. Having them made into portraits and plastered around their noble household for all to say, but mainly for them to brag about and fawn over themselves with just how sarcastic they were. Though Magnus couldn't help but think it would be hard for him to do the same, once he got back to the photo that would be used for the Magazine. After all, he thought the magazines cover for this weekly issue was more than great. He could only hope others thought the same.
Summary: Magnus went and did images of him in a suit, then made his own background and collaborated with the photographer to make a great cover photo (picture in spoiler).

The paintbrushes are ornate in design, with swirls of small patterns and silver in color. They have purple bristles that fade into white at their tips. Nothing is too special about these paintbrushes on their own except they are sturdy and have no need for a palette as they are capable of producing any color of paint on their own with a small infusion of mana. These paintbrushes were a gift to Magnus from his mother when he was younger and as such he cherishes them dearly but also uses them for his magic. However, as they are a magical set, they all share the same durability, thus if his weapon was to break even if it was just one paint brush due to an attack capable of destroying a junior rank weapon all of them would break. Outside of the fact that they can release paint, these weapons are nothing more than blunt objects. As such they cannot be used to stab or pierce without the usage of a spell or its ability.
