The local grinches, I mean crime families have requested help with keeping morale of the citizens of the town down low. So they are asking for you to crash a local food drive that is being put on by the local lord. Anyone is able to participate in the food drive so entry and access will be easy to gain and security will be lax due to weather and no one believing someone would be evil enough to ruin such a kind thing. Prove them wrong.

After completing her last job it was now time for Aya to take another one, she had grown accustomed to her life as rouge in passing days, and having a small bit of peace from her headaches were great, however, in recent days she had begun to feel the headaches slowly but surely coming back. Although she took it as a sign from the deities she prayed to keep moving and continue progressing, it was a pain in the ass nonetheless. She hated having to work against her control, and truthfully all she did was want to rest and be at peace for the next few days. However, she found the migraines pounding against her skull too much to take, and they only seemed to subside when she was slowly progressing herself through life, whether it was training or making money. Resting on her laurels for too long didn't seem to be the right choice of option, and it saddened her so but t'was the way life went for those not blessed to have a fate of happiness and fortune.
Her father often used to tell her that bad fortune often happened to the people who were strong enough to handle it, but Aya didn't feel strong receiving such, no instead she felt held back, wronged, spotted, and it was those same feelings she wanted to pass on to the world around her, before ultimately submitting herself to solitude and peace. Luckily for her, a recent job had come into her possession this of course being through the rumor mill and a few connections she had made along the way. A local crime boss needed some help with things, and she was happy to provide such for the right price. Apparently, this crime boss wanted to keep the morale of the citizens around them low, and in Aya's mind, this was a perfect way to do such, not to mention it had the added benefit of making her feel better. After all, hurt people, hurt people.
Upon making her way to a rundown tavern in the forsaken region, Aya was to sit patiently and wait for the crime boss to sure, and from what she had gotten in return about the meeting a partner of unknown origin, she didn't know who this person was or from wince they came but she could only hope that this person was competent. From what she knew so far the job involved crashing a food drive. How this was supposed to go she had no idea, but she did know that the pay would at least be beneficial for the time they'd spend working. That in itself was enough to persuade Aya to take such a job, especially because she knew it took place in the forsaken region, in the area in which she was familiar enough to stay within the shadows in case things got too dicy. She wore her usual white and pink Hino Country-inspired attire, and of course, over top of it a simple black cloak of which hid her horns and only allowed her eyes and pink hair to slightly slipping through if one were to look closely enough.

Isabeau fixed her signature hat as she walked her way through the streets of Sosshi. She had spent many months walking along these streets in her childhood since it was one of the few nicer towns out here in the forsaken region that she could frequent in order to make a living for herself as an orphan. When she had decided to leave the orphanage, she had had to develop some quick street smart skills like being able to steal food from stalls and which alleyways would prove to be safe for a young girl to sleep in. She had been tempted to try to make her way to the witches forest to see if she could find some information about who her parents were but in order to be able to do that, she'd have to be both strong enough to survive the journey as well as being able to survive out there. There was of course the side-effect that it was likely that she wouldn't find the answers that she was looking for or could even be forced to remain in the village by the Witch Queen which wasn't something that she wanted. If there was one thing she valued, it would have to be her independence first and foremost.
Which of course led to why she was currently sulking through alleyways, heading towards a particular rundown tavern out here. Rumors had begun to be spread by the less-savory citizens of the city that some of the local crime families were looking to ruin the morale that Yule had brought. While she didn't much care for the holiday given that seeing all the happy families just reminded her of her own situation, she wasn't completely sold on the idea of ruining one of the food drives that were being held by the local lord. Of she was sure that he didn't give a single fuck about any of the citizens who actually needed the food and was merely doing this for the clout that came with it but it simply left a bad taste in her mouth for her to hurt families that were already struggling to survive. The only reason that she had even decided to take up this "mission" was that it had been explicitly stated that none of the citizens were to be harmed by any of them. "If it wasn't for the money that I'd make from this, I wouldn't even be doing something like this." she muttered as she slipped inside the building.
Doing a quick scan of the inside, she that there was only one other person in the room; assuming that it was the partner that she had been assigned for this excursion. Confidently walking forward, Isabeau made her way towards the cloaked figure, making sure not to mask her footsteps so that they would be able to hear her before sitting down across from her, getting a peek of her pink hair and eyes. "I suppose you're going to be my partner for this food drive crash then?" she stated, tilting her head slightly.
Aya looked around taking in the old run-down tavern the place smelled of mold and judging by the spots of wet wood around her she was sure it was probably all over the place, although for illegal business she wasn't surprised that one of the local crime bosses chose such a location for the meeting to take place. After all, crime in the Clover Kingdom had to be fluid, ever-moving less one wanted to get caught, even in the Forsaken Region, one could never be too careful. Aya had heard mention of the area becoming a bigger risk lately, especially with the latest influx of magic knights that roamed the street taking on missions that directly opposed those present to people who dwelled in the mischief and shadows much like herself.
Aya's mind began to wonder, the smile on her face ever-present as she thought about where to move forward in her life and how. Having joined Eclipse Raven she thought it pertinent to increase her strength and wealth, thus why she was taking mission after mission but she was also unsure about who she could trust and how to reveal herself to the rest of the group of rogues if at all. Her mind was snapped from such thoughts as she heard footsteps coming from behind her, but they didn't move as if they were trying to run up on her and assault her, even so, she kept up her guard, ready to leap away at a moments notice if the necessity of doing so were to present itself.
Although Aya figured that if one were to truly try and attack her they wouldn't be so obvious about it, especially as their footsteps echoed across the creaky wooden floor. A girl in a blue hat sat down across from her before speaking, Aya glanced over to her, her smile ever-present, her pink hair and eyes framing such as she glanced in the young girl's direction who looked to be around the same age as herself. With her question poised Aya gave a simple nod with a smile in response. Then the local crime boss appeared, he was a slender older man in a dark green suit, he had a single eye patch over his left eye. He tossed two coin pouches on the table in front of the girls. "Half now, half later, you know what the job is, destroy the morale of the citizens by crashing that food drive of that pompous lord, destroy what you can, and come back here to get the rest of your payment. Don't worry I'll be able to verify whether you've done your job or not, oh and don't get caught. 'Cause if you get caught and talk... Well, let's just say the food drive will be the least of your problems."
Aya nodded in agreement quickly swiping at the coin pouch, taking a quick glance inside while making sure to keep a watchful eye around her. After which, it was time to head to the local community drive, she made her way there, and found she didn't even have to take her cloak off the entrance, the security saw her pink hair and eyes and that was all she needed to move forward with her plan. Aya turned to a blue hat girl and gave quick and simple instructions. "You cause a distraction, I'll set things on fire." She didn't wait for confirmation, instead, she simply made her way over behind the yule tree when no one was watching and created a small magnifying using her magic. Holding it up to the sun as she ducked down out of view she chose to let it do its work for her. Eventually, the sun rays would heat the spot enough that it would start to smolder, and eventually, a small fire would start. Using her impressive speed Aya hightailed it before the first plum of smoke would bellow up, letting her impromptu magnifying glass vanish. She screamed and pointed to the tree yelling "Kyaaaa, The tree's on fire~", causing many to turn their attention to it, panicking losing their attention on her partner for the job, and rushing to get water to put the tree out as it quickly began to burst into flames thanks to all the flammable decorations placed upon it.
Aya nodded to her partner and made her way toward the exit but as she did she grabbed a nearby torch while everyone's attention was turned and tossed it onto the table with the most food. Running off into the woods unseen and unfollowed before heading back to the abandoned tavern to collect the rest of her payment. She rarely said anything to her partner besides a simple "Pleasure doing business with you," before heading on her merry way.

Isabeau noted that the girl's smile never seemed to waver as she spoke to her, leading the water-user to wonder if she was either just that cheerful or if she did that to unnerve those around her. Isabeau was made of sterner stuff though, having grown up on the streets of the Clover Kingdom would do that to a person, and wasn't intimidated in the slightest. She would have continued with her questioning, wanting to learn a bit more about the partner that she would be working with for the day, only for the local crime boss to appear. He was a slender, older man in a green suit with an eyepatch over one of his eyes and he wasted no time in sending them on their mission. "Well at least we're being paid some of our money upfronts." she thought before debating the merits of running off with the little amount that she had gotten. She was sure that she would be able to get away from any tail that he set upon them but she didn't want to spend her time looking over her shoulder for a dagger to the back or have to avoid ever coming back to this city either.
With a sigh, she picked up her coin purse and tucked it into her pocket; after doing a quick check to see that she had in fact gotten coins for her trouble and wasn't swindled before she followed after the pink-haired girl. Agreeing to the plan that had been set, Isabeau ducked into an alley on the way, changing out of her usual outfit and into something a bit more inconspicuous before moving forward and doing some scouting of the crowd before toward the guards to put her part of the plan into motion. Tugging on the sleeves of one of the men, she put on a doe-eyed look while giving off a youthful air, wanting to sell her innocence. "Excuse me Sir. I'm sorry to bother you but I heard those men over there muttering under their breaths about pickpocketing some of the nobles around here." she said, pointing over toward a group of shifty-looking men in the opposite direction of the yule tree. What she said wasn't necessarily a lie as she had overheard them talking about robbing some of the nobles and decided that they would serve as a good distraction for Aya to do her work.
Thankfully the guards seemed to believe her as they turned to look at the group of 3 who upon feeling the eyes of the guards, began to attempt to shuffle away nonchalantly. Isabeau by this point had already decided to make herself scarce and it was a good thing that she had as Aya had wasted no time in setting the tree on fire before hightailing it out of there. Some of the guards split off to deal with the fire while the others moved to go capture the other group and Isabeau saw a chance, setting a small mist bank to roll across the floor, barely visible but enough to obscure a ball that she rolled out for one of the thieves to trip over, sending them crashing into the table of food while promptly feel over. With everyone's attention to these two incidents, Isabeau nodded back at Aya and hightailed it out of there, heading back to the alleyway in order to change back into her normal outfit and head back to the bar to gather the rest of her payment, once again checking it before making her way out. "Same to you."
