She had noticed more than unsettling thoughts forming more often as the days passed. Spending the six weeks at Hino's helped her better understand herself with the lengthy meditations she often did with Jianyu in between her lessons and what downtime she had. It was a retreat and something that depressed girls of the past needed. Even though Amaya was much more sound and happy with herself, she wasn't beyond the struggles of worries. She shook her head, letting out a sigh. Why wasn't she able to meditate soundly? Why was that image from that dungeon still haunting her? She raised her left hand to her left eye, gently feeling the scar. She hadn't thought about her parents in ages. Sure she visits the former sight where her own family's estate once stood before that night. She winced some in pained thought, remembering her father moving in front of her. The dungeon had shown her worst fears, but why was a memory she still couldn't remember from there? She knew the reports and what Amaya was told of her parents, but she never pursued ever the actual reason for her parent's deaths and all that happened that night. She didn't feel it was needed all these years; however, why was it now that the thoughts of pursuing the reason for their deaths plagued her mind? Why was it this last spirit festival that became her change catalyst? Was the universe not wishing for her to remain content with her life as Taiyo's former girlfriend? Were her parents influencing the world beyond their graves?

She shook the crazy thoughts out of her head. She refused to believe anyone had control of her future happiness. She looked over her shoulder once she heard the sound of footsteps moving toward her, and she saw it was Jianyu carrying something long in a blue cloth.

"What is that?" she asked curiously.

"Well, it is a staff that you won in a mysterious raffle." He spoke, holding out a small card that read:

Amaya blinked in confusion. "I didn't...enter any raffle?" She spoke, unable to think of a time she entered anything alone. "Jianyu, have I entered anything recently for any such prize?" she asked.

"No, the only requests you have entered are some of the mendings of your wardrobe and the donation of your former one to be made into useable clothing given to the church." He spoke in thought.

"I remember that request. It was odd, but my old style is not the new me."She spoke in thought, looking at the staff wrapped in a blue cloth. Jianyu unwrapped the item. "It is safe. We have not found unknown sources of spells or magic used on this staff." He spoke

"Do you know anything about it?" She asked, accepting the staff, finding it odd but slightly familiar.

"The brief searching we have made claims it came from somewhere near the heart kingdom." He spoke.

"It seems more like a spear in looks than a staff." She observed looking over the staff, examining its ornate tip. Before holding it forward with both hands. "No, it doesn't feel as a spear should; it's a bit too top-heavy." She spoke, straightening up, resting the staff in a standing position, "this feels more comfortable in holding." She said, looking at the staff

"Some research has spoken of such things used in rituals in temples or religious ceremonies. I have sent a request to hopefully be able to retrieve possible information of the heart kingdom and such items." He spoke.

"Alright, Hopefully, we will know more. I need some time with this item to understand it. Can you prepare the training platform with some possible training dummies? I am not sure what it can or will do, but I wish to see what I can find of it." She requested.

"As you wish, it will be done by the time you wish to try it out." He spoke, allowing himself to be dismissed to fulfill her request.

Amaya watched Jianyu leave before turning to her staff, lowering it into both hands. It was undoubtedly one with a lot of mysteries. She felt a slight relief wash over her as she smiled at the staff. "You hold a lot of mysteries, huh? How about we get to know each other's inner secrets?" she asked. She knew the staff couldn't talk but holding a conversation with it did ease her unsettledness about the weapon mysteriously being rewarded to her. She wasn't a staff user. It wasn't her fighting style. Staffs were more meant for backline fighters with wishes only to heal. Sure, she was better fitted for the backline and didn't wish to fight more than necessary, and her magic was meant for only healing and helping others. The staff should be a perfect fit for someone like her, but she couldn't see herself using it. Amaya had a vast knowledge of various weapons and how to use them. She was sure she learned to use every weapon to know how to use them without hurting herself while finding one that best fits her. Sure, staffs were light, but most were too much longer than even herself, plus her need to not stand in the back and helplessly watch everyone else fight. That was why she adapted herself to knowing her rapier and the style she made of her own while using it.

Amaya lowered herself back to sitting on the ground, resting on her knees. She adjusted her skirt around herself before laying the middle of the staff's length in her lap. She moved her hands gently along the length of the staff while closing her eyes. Before attempting training with the unknown weapon, she needed to allow her hands to become accustomed to knowing the felt of the strange blue metal of the staff. She needed to see the touch and weight, smell, and sounds it made with each movement. She needed to know it as an extension of herself.

This was an unspoken rule of her own discipline. Every weapon had its own personality and much like herself. She needed to get to know others before allowing them to learn and work in harmony with herself. Weapons to her were no different. Give them respect and your understanding, and they will give you respect and compassion, at least in her mind. This was going to be a long day of understanding and finding for both herself the the mysteries the staff holds.
Aoiveae Isro is a two-meter-long staff made of an unusual pale blue metal of unknown origin, with a unique ornate top making it seem almost spear-like, it is not until the owner channels mana through the staff that its true majestic form is seen. Inside of the staff, the bluish metal seems to become almost transparent and magical energy can be seen going up it, in fact, the energy is so condensed it's almost like electricity can be seen dancing up the length of the staff. From the top that was once seen as a spear tip, a circle engulfs it and from the sides, a set of wings are seen almost like an aurora.
The true origin and creator of Aoiveae Isro remains unknown, even its history to this day remains quite the mystery though it was discovered several hundred years ago. As it was found in the broken-down ruins of a temple within the Aristaeus’ Basin close to the border of the heart kingdom it is believed that it must have held some ritualistic importance. This relic was originally bought from the black market by a noble with the intention of placing it up for auction, this noble doesn't wish to be named due to the method they gained access to the relic and has every intention of giving the proceeds of the sale to the church anonymously.
As this is an unusual relic it comes with an equally unusual ability but it comes with a bit of work to unlock. You are required to do a thread of 6,000 words where you come to not only understand the energies within the relic but unlock its hidden secret; that it is capable of a partial spirit dive, and will allow you to have up to three small aesthetic changes while in this form. (The training must be approved like a normal partial dive) You are unable to access this dive ability before the relic reaches senior, the dive will be active for three rounds and it will be five rounds before you would be able to enter it once more, at grand it will allow you to enter the partial dive for four rounds but you will not be able to enter it again for six rounds. You are able to go to the spirit system and choose three abilities you will be able to access while in the partial daemonic dive. As with spirit dive, there are drawbacks that you will receive when the dive is on cooldown. This includes -5 m/s physical speed, -5 mana regeneration, -5 Debuff in Power, Durability , Control, Sensory and you will only be able to access intermediate or below spells.

In addition to the above abilities, they will find that their spells will have a number of boons and weaknesses to them.

- Once every second round the mage may heal naturally one rank below their character rank free of charge, this increases to twice per round at grand.[break]
- Able to redirect incoming attacks if the owner's control is +10 than the opposing mage's power stat, lowering to only needing +5 at grand rank, this is only applied if your spell is of equal rank or higher than the opposed one. This can only occur once every three posts.

Moving the staff to be the right way up and moving the hand holding the staff forward will launch the shard in the same general direction, if a shard manages to hit an opponent not only would it do junior rank damage but give minor frostbite to the area it struck. Amaya took an hour to meditate over the staff, allowing her hands and body time to know the weapon, learning the feel of its blue metal to every inch of its length and width to the spear-like tip and every little crease and indentation. She could envision the staff entirely from its touch to the slightest detail behind her closed eyelids. She breathed relief, opening her eyes before raising herself and the staff to proper standings. "Alright, It is strange you are a foot taller than me, so swinging you around will be a bit off-putting." She spoke to the staff confidently, "Well, walking will be easiest to hold you to assist as a walking staff. However, I will need to make a holder for you as you need to fit across my back though I think a simple strap and holding you like a knapsack over one shoulder might be easier with our height differences." She spoke to the staff as if it was another person. She remembered notes of observation and the need to dos talking out loud as it was easier to get the thoughts out than keeping them inside.

"It is done," said Jianyu seeing Amaya walk to the training platform. "Did you find anything from your meditation?" He asked curiously

"I know the feel of the weapon, and we will need to commission a strap to hold the staff either across my back or at least over one shoulder. It is a whole foot taller than me, so I need to find an adjustment if I don't carry it in one hand." She spoke, "It won't be a weapon I will use as often as Lady madness till I can get further knowledge and understanding of it and its origins. I can tell it feels different, but something inside me says there is something familiar, but I can not figure out what it is for the life of me."She spoke, "If you can go and continue the research into this staff and at least get some knowledge of where we should look of its journey to me. I want to request a quest of sorts to go to the heart kingdom myself and find the secrets of this staff. I know Hania will most likely state no or have some further stipulations for such a request, but something in me is just saying I have to find out for myself...among other things."

"While I wouldn't recommend a trip outside the kingdom with your new status and duties, I will bring it up to Hania in at least letting him know of your wishes."He spoke in acknowledgment.

"Thank you, Jianyu," She spoke with a smile dismissing him as she turned back to the training platform where several dummies stood at various ranges and heights.

"For Lady madness, I know her abilities and how they are; for my bracelet, I had to interact with it and state a word...What do I do with you? Mediating is a no, speaking is a no...maybe. I have looked you over from every angle I could...Maybe mana is what you need..."She spoke to the staff nervously. She had heard some relics being greedy when it came to using mana. Lady madness was taxing at first when it came to using mana, but Amaya became accustomed to the blade and how much to give it to receive the wanted effects. So the same has to be here.

She closed her eyes holding the staff in front of her, before slowly channeling her mana into the staff. She felt the mana flow effortlessly into the relic before feeling a difference in the staff, causing her to open her eyes. She adjusted the staff, moving the tip to the left to get a better view. A circle engulfed the spear-like tip, and a set of wings formed from the sides, almost like an aurora. Widening in shock, watching the strange blue metal seem to become almost transparent as magical energy flowed up it looking almost like electricity from how condensed it was, dancing up the length of the staff.

"I. I. Oh my!"She spoke in shock at the sight. It was so pretty to stare at, and she lost words. She took note of the familiar feeling she was getting from it again. In a way, It felt like Taiyo and his magic. "So you're also Cosmic. That is cool. I knew someone very dear who also has Cosmic magic.."She spoke to the staff lowering her voice to a whisper, feeling her mind recall Taiyo again. "No, now isn't the time!"She told herself, keeping her mind focused. She got to get to know this weapon.

"Alright, so this is your true form, huh? It's pretty."Before thinking about what to do next, she noted, "You're a relic with cosmic magic... That means you have to have spells to use, "She spoke to the staff staring at it. She had no idea of its abilities or how to use it. She wasn't going to be happy with the next part. Time to look stupid and do stupid things in hopes of activating something.

She adjusted the staff in her hands before spinning the weapon once in a clockwise motion, stopping in the position she started. She watched the dummy in front of her engulfed by a semi-translucent multicolored wave of cosmic energy. She moved closer to the target taking note of a heat rise, being a bit warmer than elsewhere. There was no damage to the dummy or anything additional to it. "So It must heal?" she asked, summoning Jianyu again.
"Yes?"He asked, walking over to her.

"This is going to sound odd, and I hate asking this, but I am unsure if my theory was correct. I was hoping you could get a cut or some form of injury. I think I found this ability that heals, but I am unsure if it interacts with inanimate objects."She spoke.

"Makes sense. I do hope you know what you're doing."He spoke, rolling up a sleeve before punching his arm twice, causing a slight bruise, and holding it out. "Alright...I got a bruise."He spoke.

"Alright, here we go again." She spoke, backing up and spinning the staff clockwise one more time, watching Jianyu engulfed by the same light ."it's warm. I am not in pain.." He spoke, looking down at his arm, "And it seems it does heal. The bruise is gone."He said, "Good job. I hoped you were right."He spoke.

"So that is a healing ability." She spoke in thought, looking the staff over as Jianyu moved away from the training dummies. He yawned, watching the process before looking up at the sky, waiting for the next time he would be needed. [break][break] "Alright, let's try this again." She spoke, going through the phases again, feeling that if the first ability was a movement, the second was to be one as well. A few times clockwise didn't do anything as she stopped for a few seconds with the staff standing straight up as she thought about her method, deciding to go the opposite of what she had been doing. Spinning the staff counter-clockwise once was the trick. Amaya took note of the staff tip beginning to glow while noting that she could feel the heat emanating from the light. "that is getting hot." She spoke, thrusting the staff forward in the pure instinct of not wanting to get burnt from the heat. She didn't think of how she pushed the staff forward, allowing the tip to point down and move forward as an intricate seal, almost like the same aurora formed in front of the tip. She watched the intricate seal and the tip before deciding to test what would happen if she pushed the staff forward again. This time she saw something forming from the seal. She watched a molten rock form, fresh and still on fire, in front of the seal before it was launched at the dummy. She watched the dummy be light ablaze while watching the dummy get knocked back. [break][break] "So a single target Comet?" She inquired, "would it make sense due to the magic associated with this staff. Though I don't ever remember Taiyo having such a spell like this one. So that is cool, I suppose." She spoke, straightening the staff up again as she tilted her head in thought, moving to the dummy. "Clearly, it has burns from the rock being covered in fire. a decent amount of damage was done to the dummy, and it was moved back...seems like a logical spell to use to keep the enemies at bay if needed." She spoke, making mental notes for each spell she found. "Still not what I am used to, but I am sure it will be useful in certain situations. I like it more and more." She spoke in growing confidence.

This relic was originally bought from the black market by a noble with the intention of placing it up for auction, this noble doesn't wish to be named due to the method they gained access to the relic and has every intention of giving the proceeds of the sale to the church anonymously.
As this is an unusual relic it comes with an equally unusual ability but it comes with a bit of work to unlock. You are required to do a thread of 6,000 words where you come to not only understand the energies within the relic but unlock its hidden secret; that it is capable of a partial spirit dive, and will allow you to have up to three small aesthetic changes while in this form. (The training must be approved like a normal partial dive) You are unable to access this dive ability before the relic reaches senior, the dive will be active for three rounds and it will be five rounds before you would be able to enter it once more, at grand it will allow you to enter the partial dive for four rounds but you will not be able to enter it again for six rounds. You are able to go to the spirit system and choose three abilities you will be able to access while in the partial daemonic dive. As with spirit dive, there are drawbacks that you will receive when the dive is on cooldown. This includes -5 m/s physical speed, -5 mana regeneration, -5 Debuff in Power, Durability , Control, Sensory and you will only be able to access intermediate or below spells.

- Once every second round the mage may heal naturally one rank below their character rank free of charge, this increases to twice per round at grand.[break]
- Able to redirect incoming attacks if the owner's control is +10 than the opposing mage's power stat, lowering to only needing +5 at grand rank, this is only applied if your spell is of equal rank or higher than the opposed one. This can only occur once every three posts.

Moving the staff forward will send the comet in the same general direction if the comet misses but gets near it will do first-degree burns but if it does direct contact it will not only do junior rank damage but also minor second-degree burns. Due to the nature of the staff, a knockback will happen which is 5m +2m for every 10 power the owner has. With the use of the ammo rules, additional seals and comets can be created.

Amaya, we have test dummies for training stop using Jianyu in such a manner, if you continue to do so your allowance will be given to him as hazard pay.
Aoiveae Isro approved for intermediate Dosig Doalim, Scetel Kodont and Lilastea Tobor all approved for intermediate
