[attr="class","luthorscroll"] Now that Taiyo was the head of the family, there were things he had to put in place. One of those things was dealing with the scrutiny of the disgruntled members among his ranks. Thing was, he wasn’t upset that they weren’t all happy about the sudden changes. People didn’t like change and that was pretty obvious. To add on top of that, Clover wasn’t very accepting of the family after learning how their head of family was killed by his own son who was now taking leadership of the family by force. Taiyo believed that Clover shouldn’t be so involved in family affairs that had nothing to do with them. Even so, the people viewed them as disgraced and that led to them having to leave the Royal Capital for safety reasons. A small inconvenience to say the least. He was no longer a magic knight and that meant that he needed to find a new source of income. Well, that was something he would have to look into. For now, his focus was rallying his family and maintaining order. He knew for certain that some of them would follow out of fear which was pretty effective. He also knew that some of them would respect him due to him proving his strength. Then there were those who despised him and wanted to abandon their family because he was the head. They weren’t very vocal but he knew that there were going to be a few who thought like that. In the end, a lot had to change and they would need to adapt to the new life. [break][break] Being a leader wasn’t as easy as it would seem but he didn’t mind the challenge of it. The one thing he hated the most was having to deal with some of the matters that required him to be seated for long periods of time going over boring stuff. Even so, it was necessary and that was reason enough for him to get it done. He also had to take care of a few things like his mother and her grief. [break][break] It was expected of her to go through the five stages of grief after having her beloved husband killed right in front of her, by her son no less. She was scared… terrified of him. She had nightmares of those eyes she saw when he glared at his father but instead those evil eyes were on her. She still loved him but now she was too scared to speak to him in the way she used to. She made sure to always answer his questions and to do whatever he wanted. She couldn’t run away as she knew he would find her and she would be punished for it. Maybe, she was overreacting and overthinking that her son would even harm her. He was still her baby boy, right? He loved her too much to hurt her. She wasn’t in danger of death. She did just what he asked and thought deeply about forgiving him for killing her husband. He was forgiven. He told her that he didn’t intend to kill him but it happened because the sword Igneus chose wasn’t sturdy enough and so it broke which resulted in him dying. He also explained that he needed to say such harsh words to make sure that the family didn’t turn it all into chaos. It was all necessary… yes. They were born to fight and so they trained hard. If Igneus died because he underestimated their son then it was his own fault, not her son’s. These were the mental conversations Aiko had daily as if she was between a state of convincing herself and actually believing what she told herself. She was more leaning on believing it. [break][break] Maintaining a sense of cool, Taiyo took his approach as the leader without panicking too much mentally. This was what he wanted, sort of. It was expedited but that was his fault. He only wanted to be the heir again and be next in line to lead the family but now he was in charge of the family and his first issue was dealing with the mess he made. The servant who had their tongue removed was treated by Lucia spending a lot of time healing her. During her time of recovery, Taiyo visited her and told her that he only did it as a demonstration and that he had to choose indiscriminately. He didn’t intend to hurt her but it was something that happened. Surely, he fully wanted the woman to not only serve him but forgive him and see him as a strong leader who was willing to do what was necessary to get results. All in all, loyalty would be something that would be rewarded. Disobedience would be something that would bring disciplinary actions and harsh punishments depending on how severe the disobedience was. There were many different outcomes of simple actions and so those around would simply have to learn what they were allowed to do and what was not allowed. [break][break] As he sorted through his boring paperwork, he came across a request. It would seem that there was a need for assistance. A job that would answer his income problem. Now while it was safe to say that one job wasn’t going to be enough to count as stable income, it would be enough for him to get his foot in the door in this new path and possibly get more jobs. He picked up the request and read it thoroughly. It would seem that a man was owing people money and he wasn’t planning on paying up. The client was not pleased with the fact that it had been so long, so much so, they wanted the money by any means necessary. The taker of the job could either bring him dead or alive as long as the money was taken. It was a simple job that didn’t ask for much. Imagine that, going from defending citizens to exploiting them. Oh well, sometimes you have to change with the times. Taiyo was going to accept the job and do his best to get the money without the need to kill the man. He was no murderer… he was simply a man who killed another in combat. The thrill of the win felt great and there was something about finishing off an opponent that brought great interest in him but he needed to contain himself. He already had problems dealing with the malicious voices in his head. [break][break] Having accepted the job, Taiyo had made the decision to take a precious tool with him. On the day Amaya broke up with him, she had given him a special sword, one he never used. It was still in pristine condition though as it was well maintained. Having equipped the weapon, he had Lucia open a portal to Hage village for him and he made his way through. [break][break] Being in Hage village as a newly rogue was weird. He didn’t expect to be welcomed the way he used to be. So many would praise his efforts and refer to him as Lord Vermillion. Now with all the talk going around about how he brutally murdered his father, he was expecting the people to gather with their torches and pitchforks for him. The clouds in the sky reflected the way the people would see him. They were dark and threatening to burst. No matter, he had a job to do and he planned on getting it done as swiftly and efficiently as possible. He walked slowly through Hage until he ended up where he needed to be. He could see the isolated house on the Nomotato Farm. Guess it was time he dropped in and said hello. [break][break] When he got to the door, he knocked on it. ”Hello, is anyone in there?” Hearing no reply, he knocked again. He heard shuffling in the house and believed that the man inside had no intention of opening up for him so it was time to try a different method. While he could burn the house down or kick the door in, he didn’t want to draw too much attention to himself. He also heard the opening of another entrance or exit. Turning on the special ability of the relic, he found himself taking flight. Having a personal mana zone was convenient. While he didn’t have much expertise in flying, he simply used his body to move around even though it was a bit weird. Stopping over the exit where the man had decided to emerge from, he looked down at the man, hovering over an area where he could see Taiyō. [break][break] ”Tsk tsk tsk, running away? How’s that working out for you?” Seeing the former magic knight, he started shaking in his boots. He heard the rumors and thought it was definitely the end of his life. ”Don’t worry, I am not here to kill you. I am here to collect.” Taiyō landed and turned off the mana zone. ”You owe some people money and they aren’t happy so I would suggest you go get their money and hand it over. I am not going to ask twice.” Nodding, the man rushed inside and looked around for the money that he owed the client. Taiyo had no problem waiting for the man and if the farmer decided he wanted to try something then it would cost him dearly. Coming back with the money, he bowed. “Take it! That’s all of it! Please, just don’t kill me.” Taking the money from it, Taiyo grinned and his intimidating presence began to show. ”This better be all of it. Make sure I don’t have to return and all will be well.” The man nodded and bowed, wanting to do all he could to be spared of Taiyo’s wrath. ”Thank you. Now now, make sure to always pay on time.” [break][break] After securing the money, Taiyo made his way to the client and handed over the cash. Having completed the task at hand, he waited for his payment. It was good to be able to do something and having just completed a job, he knew that he would be on the radar to be hired.

Fallen Convergence
Rank & Element: Junior ¦ Cosmic[break] Class & Type: Relic¦ Weapon (Chokuto)[break] Magic Specializations: Attack Creation ¦ Physical Reinforcement[break] Appearance & Lore: A simplistic straight sword that is 65 centimetres long and weighs 4 pounds in weight. The scabbard itself is lackered black with a crimson inlay that almost seems to sparkle like there were trapped stars within it. The metal itself that makes the blade is of an unknown origin but due to it holding the same strange yet unique properties shown in the sheath.
Many of the specifics of this blade's creation remains shrouded in mystery to this day. Even in the days of old how the metal was procured wasn't known but it seemed as if it was sturdier and so through painstaking trial and error it was eventually forged into a blade that was said to carry the power of the cosmos with it. The weapon is believed to be a hybrid of Elven and Dwarven craft whether this is true only a highly trained smith in the ways of old would be able to tell.
Abilities:
The wielder of Fallen Convergence gains the ability to create a personal mana zone. This mana zone can be toggled on at will, however, the moment they turn it off they must wait for two rounds before being able to turn it back on. This mana zone allows them to seemingly float/fly in the air though their base speed is reduced by 10 this reduces to 5 when the blade hits grand. It also allows a physical buff of one rank lower than the blade itself. While the mana zone is active all spells will have their sustain costs increased by 50%.
Type & Uses: Trigger ¦ 4 Uses[break] Rank & Specialization: Junior ¦ Attack Creation[break] Mana Cost: 8 per trigger ¦ 15 recharge[break] Range & Speed: 25 m ¦ 10 m/s[break] Stats Affected: +2 Power, knockback[break] Description: The activation of this ability is two-fold the first is by simply uttering the words 'Flaming howl' this gives the blade a cosmic glow that seems to appear to be almost a golden hue to symbolize dawn and a purple to signify dusk. To fully activate the ability the wielder must swing the blade in a single hand. The moment they do what appears as a wolf made of cosmic energy which is orange for dawn and blue for dusk in the shape of a wolf 3m in length rushes in the general direction of the enemy and if they hit deal junior rank damage which deals not only minor second-degree burns but deals a knockback of 2m with an additional 5m being added for every 10 power the wielder has. Additional wolves can be created for each trigger with the use of ammo rules.
Type & Uses: Flow ¦ 3 Rounds ¦ 2 Cooldown[break] Rank & Specialization: Junior ¦ Physical Reinforcement[break] Mana Cost: 8 ¦ 4[break] Range & Speed: Self ¦ 10 m/s[break] Stats Affected: Junior Strength Buff[break] Description: "Broken Cycle" are the words that are spoken to activate this ability, the moment that it is activated a cosmic flare moves up the blade and around the wielder. During the day this flare appears to be yellow as if it was the blessing of the sun and a pale blue in the evening as if it was a blessing of the moon. The wielder will find their strength has increased quite a bit but will find the flare around them does no damage, however, when the wielder strikes or is struck by an opponent that opponent will find themself gaining minor second-degree burns due to the heat of the day flare or frostbite if it was the dusk flare.
Type & Uses: Trigger ¦ 4 uses[break] Rank & Specialization: Junior ¦ Attack Creation ¦ Physical Reinforcement[break] Mana Cost: 8 Per Trigger ¦ 15 Recharge[break] Range & Speed: 25m ¦ 10 m/s[break] Stats Affected: +2 m/s Speed[break] Description: In this case, the blade is wielded with the blade away from the enemy as it almost seems to go up the arm, this puts this attack into a semi-active mode shown by the gentle glistening on the very edge of the blade that seems to go up the arm and around the body increasing the wielders speed. Once it is moved to be held normally the blade almost seems to glow orange as if made of pure sunlight or a cool moon blue as if made from pure moonlight. With a single flick of the blade, an orb no bigger than three inches wide mimicking the colour of the blade spawns in front of the user and goes towards the general direction of the enemy. This orb is able to do Junior rank damage and either second-degree burns if in its dawn state or frostbite in its dusk state.
