What’s a weapon’s master if they are not able to hit directly on a bulls-eyes? Clearly just another person with a weapon. For a weaponry user, accuracy was crucial and a must-have skill especially for a person specializing in long range weapons such as bows and arrows. Good eye-sight, breathing control, steady hands, and sure of your capabilities. The ability to hit a target no matter the range, if your weapon of choice allows it of course; was what Akaza was trying to accomplish. The young man stood silently atop the highest peak of a large tree among a rather large forest covered in a dense mist, his usual training grounds. The 6' foot 4 inch guy stood along a tree branch; his green garments flowing with the wind as he did calmedly stood taking the breeze. Large and rare creatures were a common sight between these areas, much in which Akaza has already accustomed to since his long stay in the Foresaken Region. The man was not aware of what he carried on his back, the power, the aiming that was necessary to shoot it as well as the precision it can provide the young man. Akaza wanted to improve every single aspect of this art, starting with his accuracy which seemed to be the basic thing to train after learning how to use the weapon. He did not know why but he did look at his weapons and appreciated them as if it was part of his art. There are many ways I can use these weapons.. Akaza said as stood looking around the area.
He had arrived at the location quite some time ago, quickly setting the stage to train. Placing targets, dummies, and so forth, making this place his usual training grounds. The trees served as great targets. And the mist that covered the entire area clearly forced him to watch beyond what he could see. This training exercise would not only help him improve his accuracy but it would definitely help his focus and stabilization. The young man slowly began to reach for his small bow, a weapon used in conjuction with arrows that can reach about 120 meters when shot in the right manner. The young man made a quick visualization of his surroundings, remembering the target’s locations. His eyes slowly closed as his other hand slowly retrieved an arrow from his right side quiver. At that very moment mana began to surge through the man’s feet as he let himself drop forward into the air causing the mist to create the illusion as if he was being eaten by the thick white substance. Falling into a crouching position the tall young man remained with his sight forward, while his hand stretched along the bow placing the arrow in the corresponding string of the bow. His elbow firmly but at a fast pace pulling back. His fingers opened as the arrow was quickly shot about 80 meters away from his location. A small hissing noise was created as the arrow was shot towards the target, and just a second or two after a small thud was heard at the distance.
But Akaza was not there to see it as he had already began to run down along the tree in direction to the ground that was quite the distance down. His body flowed well with the bow in hand, jumping and moving from tree to tree in search of his next target. Knowing the location of all his targets, the next target coming up would be of course at a further range. Once again the young man pulled another three arrows, little by little increasing the amount of shots per section he stood at his angle of his hand slowly getting better by the second he moved. His mind always on point and focused at the matter at hand. Each shot that he took easily being his best as he released the three at the same time. By the time he reached the bottom of the tree, the young salesman stood firm on his ground taking one last sight at his last target that stood exactly 120 meters away from him. Though unlike before, nothing was in the way of his arrow and he had all the time of the world to take his shot. The young man sighed, letting out a deep breath of air as he reached for his quiver. One last arrow..got to make it count. The man said as he retrieved the last arrow and placed it on the string of his small bow. Slight and steady breathing as he pulled back and rested his cheek to aim the arrow. It did not took long before the young man let the arrow loose to take its course. And surely without a moment’s notice the arrow hit its mark right on the middle of his target. Both eyes opened wide as he tilted his head to his right to watch the target making sure the arrow had hit its mark. Hmm could not be better than that. The young commoner hunter said as he went from the top and repeating the process quite a few times until his arrows were all where he wanted them. This took long hours and the amount of arrows that filled the target's bullseye was simply not able to be seen by the hour as he kept on landing the arrow in the same place. My aim, as well as speed seemed to have gotten better. This training was very useful after all. The man said as he lowered his bow, while whipping the drops of sweat from his scaly face with the other hand. The man had not only improved his accuracy but also made his movements a lot smoother and precise. Not letting any distraction influence his target and aiming. This should be good for now. The man said as he packed all his things and began to walk away towards the village’s direction.
