The Sunken that attacked the pair were overwhelmingly powerful, their dominating presence and sudden attacks were enough to overpower the golems that the two mages summoned in addition to the female mage’s mana skin. The Sunken were now close quarters and held an advantage in numbers, this was becoming a losing game...the Sunken had overwhelmed a large amount of the Atlantean forces, and Tskumi was in danger on the battlefield, but right when things seemed bleak for our mages...Juun showed up.
“HYAH!” He cried out as he cut through the entire team of ten Sunken warriors before turning to the two of them. “There is no time to speak now, you two MUST follow me if you wish to leave this place alive.” He would say before leading them back through the Elder’s house and then swinging the blade once again the Atlantean would cut his own seat in a vertical slash before revealing a hidden passageway. “Go...do not turn back, find a way up and redeem us...if you find a Chasm Crawler...don’t let the opportunity pass you by if you can help it. This is all I can offer you...For Atlantis.” He would say as he would wait for the two of them to enter, the passageway would light up several torches before Juun would throw debris over the entrance. There would be a sound of a war cry before a scuffle could be heard above them…
Was this the end...
New Round, No Word count requirements, You all must escape in 1000 Words or less...combined. Hanami, you now find yourself afflicted with a lasting curse, the “Aura leak” and it will slow your healing you receive naturally and through help down to half a rank than its normal level. This lasts until the afflicted Aura is rinsed away from your body...but rinsed by what?
Yuurei, your Mana pool right now should be 670 after doing the math, please be sure to keep track of that. Golem edit: Only seven were created by Yuurei, one being sent to help Hanami, and Hanami...a band may be a measurement but I need actual numbers...so I am treating it as one golem. Am I an ass for dong so...very much so. But I am fair in all things.

Yuurei would see that things were getting hectic now, and he wanted to continue to help the people that were around here. Still, there was a monster out there and they needed to stop the Calamity before the world itself came to an end. He would soon see Juun enter the battle with more Atlanteans on their side, but it seemed like he didn’t come here to truly fight right now. When they heard Juun speak to them, he would nod as he was fine with that. If he felt like his people could handle these creatures, then he wouldn’t fight against him.
“Hanami shall we?” He alerted her with the question as there wasn’t really a choice in the matter.
The noble would follow Juun as he would lead them back to the place of the elder. He wondered where he was taking them, and soon enough the seat would reveal a passageway. This was interesting and he didn’t think he would have found this on his own. This was their way forward, and he was going to make sure that he helped them by taking the calamity out.
“Thank you Juun. We will make sure that the Calamity is destroyed, just please do your best to live with everyone.” He said this as he knew that a lot of people would die, but he tried to hope for the best.
Yuurei would move into the passageway without hesitating as he would see the path before them lighting up. His golems had dispersed as he only kept one spell up and it was the one that was defending him, and Hanami this entire time. The wind mage had to do one thing and it was finding the Chasm Crawler that the elders spoke to them about. This thing was going to be their ticket out of here and it seemed like this place would be where they would be able to find one.
As Yuurei would walk through the passage, it seemed like Hanami had gotten hit by one of the Sunkens. He had defended her with his defensive magic, but it seems like they had bypassed his defense. That wasn’t good and he could hear noises coming from above them as it seemed like their path back was sealed.
“Hanami it seemed that one of the Sunkens got passed my defense. I can you.” He said this as he would stretch his hand outward and he would create a portal.
“If you go through that portal it will heal you and if you stay in there for a while it would heal you better. It all depends on how big your wound is.” He said to her.
Once she stepped inside of it and was ready to move forward, Yuurei would continue on his venture.

She didn't hesitate to nod, there seemed little other option than to follow her Captain down into the passageway.
"Ah thank you." the permeation mage smiled forcefully, trying to remain positive despite the dire situation and outcomes as she stepped inside, feeling her mana skin very slowly replenish. "I should be fine now." She stated after a few minutes passed, an obvious lie, her mana skin wasn't completely replenished, but they couldn't sit around here forever though. They had to move on, the sooner they dealt with the problem at hand the better. Plus, they had no idea how long it would be until the sunken discovered where they had gone and followed them either.

(Your defensive spell was broken last round on both characters. If you wish to keep it you will need to recast.)
They were alone for now, the sound of fighting was becoming a distant memory...but yet as they would heal themselves and try to take a moment of rest a familiar feeling would wash over them. (Those with 75 or less sensory abilities would only recognize this as the aura of the Calamity possessed Dio. Those with 76 or higher would feel as if the longer they waited...the more powerful the Aura would become.) Hopefully the two would move from the escape tunnel, finding themselves in a giant canyon, the only way back is through the tunnel they came through...but the feeling of dread would permeate even the air around them as the scent of blood and decay would become a much more prominent smell.
Walking along for the next hour was almost maddening as there was literally nothing except the sound of rushing water and the feeling of a wind that should not actually be there. Something was off though, not just with the situation, but the fact that every so often a gust would pass over them in the darkness...A moment of realization would come to both players as they realize something is above them passing by periodically...hunting them. However if they looked ahead they would see footholes in the wall about 100 yards away. They could climb up if they wanted, or they could confront the thing above them...watching and waiting to strike.
Alright you two, here is how it is about to go. If you choose to stay another round, the Sunken will breach the escape tunnel and you will be overrun in a small area. Moving on presents little options as well. You can choose to just keep on moving and ignore what is above you, but it will add an EXTRA 1,500 Words on top of what you already have. However if one of you chooses to look up and find a way to illuminate above you. The optional Encounter will occur.
Either way, you will not have a chance to prepare for a defensive attack if you move up the footholds or find the thing above you.
The Round is 1,000 words to progress to the fight, or 2,500 to progress smoothly.

Yuurei would look at Hanami as she had thanked him, and also told him that she was fine. His spatial portal would close as he was no longer using the ring anymore as he had healed her enough to make sure that she was fine. He did know that he had to conserve mana for the future battle ahead of them. He was happy that she was okay, but he was upset that his armor wasn’t strong enough to protect her.
“I’m sorry that I couldn’t protect you Hanami.” He said this to her as he was looking around the lit path again.
Yuurei started moving through the path again as he was finding it easy to walk without a problem. The noble thought about what happen and figured that he would cast more armor spells on them so that they couldn’t be penetrated. He didn’t think those creatures were strong enough to take off the armor, and if that were the case, then he could only imagine how strong the Calamity was. This made him feel that he was going to have to start going all out. His armor wasn’t on him anymore, from their last encounter, so he decided to place it on him once again.
“Wind Magic: Rashoumon.” He whispered as the wind would surround both of them again.
He wasn’t sure where the danger would appear, so he had to be ready. It wasn’t just that, but there was an aura that was around them and it seemed like it was getting stronger. It seemed like it was coming from Dio, but if that were true then was he really nearby? The noble didn’t have time to think about that as he needed a way to get to him. He kept moving through this place which would soon enough lead them to what seems like a giant canyon. This place was huge and it seemed like they would have a lot of ground to cover, and he wouldn’t stop moving anymore, but he wanted to speak to Hanami.
“I’m glad you’re feeling fine, but I will make sure that I place more defense on us, so that doesn’t happen again.” He said this to her as he kept moving.
Their travel was quite long, and he figured that talking would be how they would kill the time ahead. They were looking for a certain creature that could get them back to the surface. He didn’t look at Hanami as he to keep his guard and keep aware of his surrounding, but he would start up a conversation.
“It seems like there is an aura that’s coming from the Calamity, but it feels like it’s more powerful than it is before. That means we need to get to them before this thing becomes too strong for us to handle.” He said to her as they kept walking as they could hear the sound of water.
The water was normal as he figured there would be some sense since they were underwater, but the gust of wind had confused Yuurei as he didn’t think there would be wind around here. The only wind he should be feeling was from his own, but that wasn’t the case. As they continued walking, Yuurei could feel more wind, which confused him at first, but he would soon realize that it was coming from above them. He wasn’t sure what it was, but he didn’t feel the aura of the Calamity right now. It could have been Chasm Crawler that was looking for the above, but how would they be able to illuminate and see what was above them?
“I think there is something above us, but I’m not sure what it is.” He whispered to Hanami as he sighed.
He wanted to look up, but he didn’t think it was the right thing to do. It could have been a trap, or it could have been a creature that wouldn’t bother them unless it felt threatened by them. In the end, the Silver Tempest kept walking as he was minding his business and soon enough he could see that not too far from them there was a foothold for them. This was interesting and they could move forward from there. He would look at Hanami for a second with a smile on his face as he would speak to her about what he saw.
“We can use that foothold right in front of us as a way to keep moving. I don’t know what’s following us, but if it does strike at us at least we will have my defense to protect us. I’m sure it can’t be stronger than those Sunkens that were fighting.” He paused for a second as he rubbed the back of his head.
“Actually I wouldn’t know if anything else is as strong as those things, but I don’t want to fight anything unnecessary. We need to find the Chasm Crawler.” He said to her as he thought about what was happening above them.
“I hope the Atlanteans are doing well against those creatures. I didn’t want to leave them as I didn’t want them to become instinct. The thing is if we didn’t leave when we left, then who would have been the ones to stop the Calamity.” He said to her as he would keep moving as he could see that they were getting close to the wall.
When they got to the wall. He would look at it and he would crack his neck and his knuckles as he was getting ready to start climbing up the wall. The Captain to the Silver Eagle would start climbing first as he didn’t want to have Hanami to grab onto a foothold that would break on her. Yuurei had started climbing grabbing each and every part of the footholds that he figured were durable. This was a good way to climb to the top, but they could have used the creature that the elders told them about. The wing mage kept his progression steady as he would look down at Hanami to make sure that she was fine with climbing this thing.
I hope we fight Dio soon, if we can find a way to save him and take out the Calamity from him, then we will all be fine. If that isn’t the case, then I guess that life of many out weights that of one.” He thought to himself as he felt bad, but there was a big chance that Dio would have to die so that the Calamity couldn’t be released into the world.
Yuurei kept moving up the footholds as there didn’t seem to be an issue with going up. He would look up every so often as he wanted to make sure that Hanami was fine. When he saw that she was fine, he would continue climbing up the foothold. It wouldn’t be too long, but Yuurei could see that they were both reaching the top of this place. His body filled with excitement as they would be able to get their distance from all the disgusting Sunkens they fought earlier.
“We’re almost there, Hanami.” He said to her as he would continue upward.
When he reached the top, the young man would gather himself as he would place his feet onto the ground as he would stretch his arms from all the climbing he had to do just now. His eyes looked around to see what was in front of him now.

[attr="class","hanatextd"]Hanami felt her body calm down, her breathing returning to normal pace as she took deeper breaths, it seemed they were safe. Well, for now at least it seemed that way from what she could tell, unable to sense even the smallest of evil presences in their vicinity. Even though she knew this brief peaceful time would not last too long it was nice to have a short reprieve and allow herself to rest some more. What the permeation mage had not expected however was for her captain to apologise to her so earnestly and she'd feel her face heat up momentarily. It had not been his fault she had been injured, if she had been wiser with her decision making and moved swiftly she possibly could have avoided being struck by the beasts behind them.
"Ah, no no no it is fine, it not your fault. It my fault for being slow. Besides I chose to come with you today and I am glad I did, even if dangerous. If I did not come too then you would be alone now." Hanami shook her head trying to sound as optimistic as possible, trying to stop her voice from sounding too shaky or uneasy in order to appear more confident than she truly was. She did however, feel slightly more relaxed feeling her captain's wind magic coat her once more. It was one of the land's strongest defences, he was far stronger than most in this aspect. It made the young woman think about just how strong their opponents had truly been in order to break it earlier, a thought that made her shudder as they were simply the minions of the true evil that await them eventually.
The permeation mage trod softly as she followed her captain further along the path carefully watching each step lest she stumble and injure herself. Thoughts of what she had seen and experienced were still fresh as they raced through her mind, only making her grow more and more concerned as time continued to pass on. The further they ventured the quieter it became, the sounds of the raging war no longer ringing or echoing along the walls of their path. Instead the sounds were replaced with the sound of a water flowing, and the occasional gust of wind that was sent blowing gently past them, it was almost soothing. However, something didn't feel quite right, and while she couldn't quite place her finger on what it was, Hanami was beginning to grow steadily more nervous as she felt around with her mana in an attempt to sense what was making her feel uneasy. It seemed Lord Krane had noticed it as well as he spoke once more in a hushed tone just enough for her to hear.
"Yes, I feel it too." She confirmed his suspicions, the last thing they needed was to waste time and energy fighting another beast before their big battle with the calamity. It was far too risky, especially in her current state, a cursed feeling that she just couldn't wash away that made her feel weakened in some way. It was almost as if some spell was upon her one that couldn't be easily cleansed with a regular healing spell. Perhaps it was this type of thing that the church of clover had spoken about the time she had visited. They did seem incredibly fearful of hexes and curses, although she personally could see their usefulness she also did understand where the fear could stem from, especially if this was the feeling they gave one they were cast upon.
Out of instinct, whether it was fear or a survival mechanism she couldn't say, she felt the urge to reach out towards Yuurei. For once she didn't try to fight it, her fingers lightly brushing his cloth covered arm before gripping him tightly as if to anchor herself to him lest she get torn away or left behind. Her heart began to pound, anxiety filling her as her breathing grew uneven. Clear signs of her fear that she didn't bother to hide from her captain anymore. She had never truly been a confident person at the best of times, and while she wished to show him her inner strength it was failing her at this very moment.
She was glad to hear him speak up once more, her eyes had been held down to the ground, afraid to look around as she relied only on her sensory to feel for whatever was stalking the two of them. She'd blush as she'd finally come to the conscious realisation that she had been touching her captain the entire time, quickly drawing her hand back from his arm as she'd glance forward to what he had spoken about. It seemed he had found a way for them to continue, away from whatever cave dwelling creature lingered above them. He seemed to be voicing his concerns and opinions aloud, more so to himself than directly towards her, as if to look for confirmation he had been making the correct decisions. Despite being slightly older than him, he was still her superior and in her opinion even if his choices had been the wrong ones he was still the one with the power to make the decisions on this mission.
"You made wise choice, staying back to fight may have been death for both us and those on surface." Hanami affirmed, attempting to make it as clear as possible that she agreed with his decisions so far. Even if they were magic knights, they were still just teenagers. While she knew Yuurei had seen war, she herself had never experienced such things, she was still incredibly unseasoned. Despite this she was confident that dealing with the calamity directly was the best course of action over possibly perishing to its minions. Although, she was still uncertain how much help she would actually be when it came time to do so. In fact she feared she may actually be nothing more than a hindrance. Regardless, she kept those thoughts and feelings to herself, not wishing to force her pessimistic thoughts and views unto her captain unnecessarily.
Upon reaching the wall that her captain had spoken of, her eyes would glance upwards, it wouldn't be an easy climb, but at least it didn't appear overly difficult. Without a word her captain would simply begin climbing upwards, the permeation mage not wanting to be left behind would quickly follow suit behind him. Mimicking his movements upwards, each hand gripping tightly, ensuring she had a solid hold before pulling herself upwards. Slowly they would ascend up the wall in near silence, as if afraid talking would somehow make them drop down to the ground below.
It was tough work for someone of her build, she was unfit, but she wasn't built of muscles either. Her arms felt like jelly by the time her captain finally spoke saying they were close to the top. His words gave her the last bit of inspiration she needed to push herself a little more, finally pulling herself up on top of the surface above where they had stood below not too long ago. Her heart was still racing, the physical exertion taking its toll on her body as she basically lay on her back at her captain's feet huffing and puffing, covering her face with one hand out of shame. She made a mental note that if they got out of this alive she was definitely going to have to undertake some serious training before attempting anything like that again.

So you both took the safe...yet infinitely harder way, kudos to you both. Here we go you two. Climbing the wall is actually uneventful for the two of you, the strain for Hanami is a little worse considering the curse that was placed on her from the attack of the Sunken earlier. Once you are both on the cliff you can actually look back now, no lights where the Elder’s hideout once was...just a writhing mass, and bigger creatures actually floating near where they were. The Chasm Crawlers were actually right there, and they would have attacked and it would have been an easier fight had they actually confronted the beast below.
The group can still backtrack to try to capture one, but doing so might actually be a setback. However if they look ahead they see that as they approach the other side of the cliff, they could look down into a valley where a few bridges left that were still accessible, but the issue was the Sunken...they numbered 25 at least. But they were scattered. The climb down, which would be easy enough, but the approach to the bridge was not going to be an easy one...a fight lie ahead.
Alright you two, here is how it is about to go. You have made it out of the frying pan but you are about to enter the final stretch. You can attempt to wrangle a Chasm Crawler now...or proceed on the path you originally set up and fight your way across the bridge into Atlantis. However once you do, you will be nearly where you need to be.
Word count to progress to the bridge fight, 2,000 Words Max. Failure to adhere to this will result in The Sunken being alerted early.
No word count max if you decide to fight the Chasm Crawler as it will start a new round of fights.

Yuurei would see that Hanami was on the floor right now doing her best to catch her breath. He could only smile at her because he was happy that she could actually make her way up here. The noble lived in the mountains for his entire life, so climbing wasn’t a new thing for him as he had to do it almost every day. He figured it was a blessing due to him being a Krane, but the isolation had brought them to be blind to the world below them. They had made it this far together, so he figured that they would make it to the end no matter what. A few minutes was what he would give her before his right hand would be stretched out for her to grab.
“That was a great workout. I’m glad you were able to make it up here Hanami with me. A lot of people would complain the entire way up, but not you.” He said this to her with a smile on his face.
After she would grab his hand for support to be lifted up or if she got up by herself, he would turn and he would make his way to the other side of the cliff. His eyes widen as he was surprised by what he saw. The Captain trying his best to detail everything he saw into his mind so that he didn’t miss a spot. What he came to realize was that there were quite a few Sunkens around this valley. That was crazy as he thought they were separated from them, but that wasn’t the case. Instead, it seemed like these creatures were all around this place. There were several bridges that were still standing and he could also see that there were a bunch of them that had been destroyed. He would sigh as they were going to have to fight their way through all of this if they wanted to proceed. The aura from earlier made him feel that the Calamity could be nearby, and if that were the case they had to get to Dio and take him out quickly.
They had to go through the Sunkens here before they would make it to the Calamity. This was great, and he would only shake his head as he would have to talk to Hanami before they made their move.
“There seems to be a lot of Sunkens here Hanami. I will reinforce my defense spells so that they don’t penetrate it as they did before. I think we were better off fighting the creature down there, but it’s too late to regret it. As of right now, we need to make our way passed the bridge with the less amount of Sunkens near it.” He paused for a second.
“We fight whatever we need to in order to get through the bridge on the left. After that, we will do any other fighting we need to do, but I don’t trust fighting on any bridges that haven’t been maintained in years, and I’m sure that is the case for these. Our main objective is to fight our way through to the bridge, make it to the other side, and possibly destroy the bridges so that Sunkens can’t get to us quickly.” He said to her as he was getting ready to move.
Yuurei would take a deep breath as his grimoire would move over to a page in his grimoire. He would take his time and when he was ready he would whisper his words.
“Wind Magic: Wind Tunnel.” He said this as the magical wind would appear around the two of them.
This wind spell was under the first wind spell he had placed on them. The Silver Tempest had to reinforce his defense, and this was how he would do it. The noble was ready to move through this, and he figured that the two of them would start the fight before the Sunkens would get to notice them. Another page would flip as Yuurei started to descend from the cliff they were on. He was heading towards the center of danger right now, but it was their only way forward. When he got down to the valley, his grimoire would activate as he planned on going for a surprise attack if he could.
“Wind Magic: King Bahamut, and Wind Magic: Feilians.” He said these words as he would summon sixteen of his Feilians and seven of his Bahamuts into existence as they would soar into the air before they started moving towards each of the Sunkens they could reach.
When they got near the creatures they would do everything they could do to take out their opponents with everything they had. Yuurei’s golems would all tempt to slash their opponents and take them out. If they couldn’t, they would at least provide a good amount of time for them to make their way towards the bridge that was their said goal.
Once his golems had started to move he would look over to Hanami with a smile on his face.
“We can start moving now, and make sure that you do what you can to make it to the other side. I will of course help you however I can.” He said this to her as he had looked towards the bridge once again.
The Captain of the Silver Eagles would start running towards the bridge as swiftly as he could. Of course, he made sure that he didn’t leave Hanami behind as it would be bad for her, as she was surrounded by his defense. He would hope that she would make golems as well and used them to fight against the Sunken to stop them from advancing towards them as fast as they normally could. He was focused on his goal, but he wanted to make sure he was also aware of his surroundings as well.
His movements swift and the noble was ready for anything, but right now there were twenty-three golems heading towards twenty-three different Sunkens ready to take them on. There would be more, and it all depends on Hanami’s move next.

[attr="class","hanatextd"]Hanami shifted uncomfortably on the ground at his compliment, it wasn't that she didn't want to complain, it was simply not the time nor place for such a thing. Her body was aching and she was growing increasingly thirsty, despite being able to hear the gushing water below she hadn't actually seen or drunk any. To top off everything she was just feeling increasingly unwell, something she had also kept to herself, afraid of what would happen if she were to speak up.
Not wanting to give away just how she were truly feeling she would simply nod and give a small grunt in agreement whenever her captain spoke. Enough to let him know she had heard him, but not enough to give away her panicked thoughts when she had finally stood back up with his help and spotted the army of sunken that were sprawled out along the path ahead. At least it seemed the young man had somewhat of a plan, although she wasn't overly confident in it. There were a lot of thing that could potentially go wrong here.
While her captain was preparing his defenses, Hanami had a better idea. One that would allow them to cross the bridge with far little hindrance.
"Wait!" She'd call trying to get his attention, before channelling her magic through her fingers as a collection of colourful paints exploded forth before wrapping themselves around the duo forming a pair of painted wings to their backs that would move to their command. Hanamis was a simple pair of swirling, dark purple, moth-like wings with a few vibrant blues, while the pair on Yuurei's back would end up more pointed and mostly black with yellow details; Both pairs matching the wearer's hair and eyes.
"We can fly over now..." She'd state simply before fluttering her own wings and soaring upwards as high as she thought necessary to avoid having to deal directly with the sunken. It would be far better to simply avoid fighting and risking their lives, at least in her mind.

Yuurei was about to continue on with his fight, but Hanami’s cry for him to wait stop him. He would look at her and it would seem like she had another plan for them. He would look at her and it would seem like she would gather her magic and soon enough she would use her grimoire to create wings on both of their backs. The noble was so stuck on fighting due to everything that he had gone through, that he had forgotten something so simple. The idea of avoiding the enemy if they could, but thanks to Hanami they were possibly going to avoid all of that. She had told them what the wings were capable of doing, and this was nice to hear.
“Nice thinking Hanami. Flying to the other side of the bridge it is. And if anything I will destroy the bridge without the Sunkens noticing. I could summon my golems cut off what’s holding the bridge and then have them safely bring it down without making noise.” He said to her as he was hoping she was fine with that plan.
Yuurei would see how the wings work, and he could only have a smirk on his face as he needed to get something like this in the future. The Silver Tempest would be lifted off from the ground and he would soar through without making any noise as he could see that their fight with the Sunkens would have taken a bit of time. It wasn’t just that, but if the Calamity continued to get stronger, than they needed to get to him before his power became too strong for anybody to stop him. Once Yuurei got to the other side along with Hanami, the young man’s grimoire would flip to a page.
“Wind Magic: Pazuzu.” He would say this as he would summon sixteen Pazuzu right in front of him.
It wouldn’t take long, but he would order the Pazuzus to work in pairs as he would send one of the two to hold onto the bridge while the other one to destroy whatever was holding the bridge on their side. When the bridge was cut, the Pazuzu holding the bridge would move it towards the other side, making sure it didn’t make any noise to alert the Sunkens.
“Well now let’s proceed.” He whispered to her as he started moving forward.
Yuurei didn’t want them to come at them from behind. He had a theory that Calamity could alert them, and he didn’t want them to have a pincer attack on them, so he decided to cut off their way to the other side.

[attr="class","hanatextd"]Hanami felt a wave of warmth flood over her as Yuurei complimented her. It seemed she had made the correct choice as she'd nod and follow him to the other side and wait to see if he was successful in destroying the bridge once they arrived. She wasn't entirely sure how stable the thing would be or how easy it would be for the wind mage's golems to destroy it, and while it was upsetting to know that such amazing craftsmanship was going to have to collapse she couldn't deny it would be best to put a stop to the sunken's path so they couldn't surround them from behind after they continued on their way.

Hanami’s trick worked...better still Yuurei’s golems did what they had to do, but in doing so the hive mind of the Sunken had been awakened once more. The keep that they were flying towards was just within their grasp, a little farther up and they would have made it to the keep, but the Sunken had already made their move. It seemed as though some sort of defensive system was still active after all and the open air between the pair and Atlantis proper became a net of unknown spheres and Calamity mutated versions of the beasts known as Chasm Crawlers...the group would have to land at the tower leading up directly to the keep. It would take time, but it was safer than the alternative.
You all will land on the 3rd floor balcony of the large tower. It is relatively empty here but the moment you step into the room from the balcony...a click will be heard.
The sunken are on to your plans and Calamity possessed Dio has begun to ramp up his plans as the earth shakes more frequently. You are able to make it up the tower, but there will be difficulties. First a mechanical switch has been pressed, you do not know what for, but can only assume it’s bad. Time to get a move on.
To traverse rooms in the tower the players will need to decide on a dice roller each round, starting next round for what will happen in that room. For now though you are left to speculate what happened and formulate a plan going up. The rooms are tight and any spell launched above senior will cause a collapse of the next room. Automatic senior damage will be applied each time this happens and a d6 will be rolled by the GM in this case. Choose wisely.

Yuurei had attacked the bridge, but it seemed like it was a big mistake for him to do. He would kiss his teeth as he was upset about that. He didn’t think he would make too much noise to alert them. His idea was simple to destroy the bridge and make sure that it didn’t slam on the wall it would have slammed on, but it seemed like that was a fail. Instead, his golems would make another move as they soar through the air and would find their way towards Hanami, and Yuurei. They would move on with them as he planned on using them to scout ahead of them instead. It wouldn’t take them long, but the duo would find themselves on a balcony that was connected to the large tower.
There was only one way forward, and they would have no choice but to go through the door. When they got there, Yuurei would hear a click, and at the same time, he would his sensory to see if he could feel anything around them. The noble knew from experience from dungeons, that clicking noise was a bad thing.
“We have to move forward, I think they are onto us.” He said to Hanami, as he would start flying through the room they were in.
If there was one thing he could see was that the rooms were really small, and tight space, but the good thing was there was just one way forward. It seemed that the Calamity was ready for them, and they could only hope that they were ready for the Calamity.
Yuurei made sure that he was aware of his surrounding, so that way he couldn’t be caught off guard or at least give him time to react to anything that might come their way.
“Please be on guard, Hanami.” He said this as his Pazuzu would position themselves so that eight were behind the two of them and the other eight would be in front of the two of them.
Yuurei ordered them to dodge anything that would come their way and show them what it was.

[attr="class","hanatextd"]Hanami was relieved it seemed her plan to fly over was working, however, her captain's approach to destroy the bridge had been a mistake. It seemed that the process had somehow alerted the calamity to their presence, the ground below them shaking ever more fiercely that before. What had seemed like the ideal plan had turned the situation into somewhat of a disaster, thankfully the duo still managed to make it somewhat safely to a balcony on the tower despite all the uproar. The place didn't seem too stable and she wasn't keen on the idea of sticking around too long, fearing it could collapse at any given moment. They needed to find their way upwards and quickly.
The permeation mage would nod towards her captain as he seemed to once more read her mind on the situation, quickly soaring through the air of the small room towards the entrance that would lead them further up the tower. Her gaze would drift upwards as she was caught up in her thoughts on what they would even do once they were face to face with the beast that was the cause of all this chaos. They were both capable mages, but she was in no way as strong as her captain, and she had never seen any mage on the surface cause the level of destruction this creature had accomplished in such little time.
Hanami felt a little safer knowing she was protected by Yuurei's golems that were positioned around them, but somehow he didn't feel as if they were going to be enough. After all, she was still feeling somewhat weakened from being struck earlier and that had just been a minion of the monster that lie waiting for them above. Her heart raced as the blood pumped through her body in a rush of adrenaline from the anxiety building up inside her, so quick it felt as if it would burst out of her chest any moment. She'd clutch her chest momentarily in the air, this was no time for a panic attack, she had to try to fight it.

Stepping into the next room the two of the mages feel as if something is bearing down on their souls…[BOTH PLAYERS LOSE A TOTAL OF 25% of their TOTAL AVAILABLE MANA AND MAX MANA FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE ADVENTURE] Moving forward the two mages and their golem guards would feel that pressure only staying constant. They were close, that was for sure...but this tower was designed to make whoever entered it without permission...experience hell. Moving through the first room was not hard, and neither was the second, but right as they entered the third room where the stairs to the next floor were...there was finally a roadblock.
3 Mechanical golems made themselves known and two Sunken came down the stairs towards the two man party...The fight for their will to live was about to start...of course there was the alternative route they could use if they wanted to try and leave in a hurry.
Combat round..these golems are not the happiest of creatures the Atlanteans have made, and the Sunken are worse...you must fight them in order to advance. Of course the alt. Route as mentioned in the round before this one is still available if you feel like taking a hit.
Minimum Wordcount: 400
The Almagamations have Grand health each The Sunken have Senior health each Both hit for Senior PHYSICAL damage You know what the Sunken look like Almagamation looks
