Mana Zone
This is a mastery of utilizing natural mana in your surroundings instead of just your internal mana. By doing so, you can draw out more powerful and flexible spell usage.
Arrays are an additional level of natural mana usage
Level 1: Mana Zone (No Restrictions, costs 2 Perks and 3000 Word Training)
-Able to create a Mana Zone that’s naturally 10 meters and an additional meter for every 10 Control (or 10 + [Control/10]). You can have your spells originate from any point within the Mana Zone, even if it is inside another person’s defenses. Overlapping Mana Zones from non-allies are cancelled out. Mages that have +10 Sensory over your Control stat or that use a Sensory spell are capable of sensing the formation of spells within your Mana Zone.
Level 2: Mana Zone (No Restrictions, 3000 Word Training again)
-Gain 1 Mana Zone Perk
Mana Zone Perks
Mana Domain
Your Mana Zone’s size is now 20 + [Control/5].
Magic Sovereignty
Your Mana Zone’s size is now 5 + [Control/15], however your Mana Zone is not cancelled out by other Mana Zones (even those with Magic Sovereignty).
Ambush Specialist
Your spells gain +10 Power while attacking targets that are within your Mana Zone.
Catapult
Your spells gain +1 Power and +1 m/s for every meter they travel within your Mana Zone, stacking 10 times.
Fortress
Enemy spells lose -1 Power and -1 m/s for every meter they travel within your Mana Zone, stacking 10 times.
Dreamland
You gain +10 Sensory against targets or spells originating within your Mana Zone.
Assassination Technique
Your Spells require +5 more Sensory to detect their formation within your Mana Zone.
Level 3: Arrays (Unusable by Plats, Senior Rank only, another 3000 Word Training? I dunno how training is balanced.)
-Gain 2 of the Rune Perks. You may now spend regular perk slots to gain Rune Perks.
Rune Perks
Giant Rune
Choose a spell. That spell becomes AoE if it wasn't already. If it was, its AoE range is doubled.
Traveller Rune
Choose a spell. That spell's range becomes doubled.
Wheel Rune
Choose a spell. That spell's speed becomes doubled.
Hammer Rune
Choose a spell. That spell's buffs are doubled in value.
Warrior Rune
Choose a spell. That spell's damage is doubled.
Body Rune
Choose a spell. That spell's health is doubled.
Love Rune
Choose a spell. That spell's healing amount is doubled, or duration to heal is halved.
Hand Rune
Choose a spell. This spell may redirect spells that it would otherwise have destroyed or blocked.
