Pyr had just wrapped up his demonstration but he wasn't completely satisfied with just that. Showing what he can do with his magic is all well and good but as a warrior the only true way to show what potential he had and what he could bring to the table. So he to show his courage he looked up at the Captains sitting that were observing the demonstrations until his focus was locked on Malcolm, the Captain of the Black bulls. It was the simplicity of his speech that caught his attention and made his choice of which of the squads he was going to join much easier. Malcolm made the claim that he would make those who joined the Black Bulls the best fighters and he wanted the exam takes to fight well and fight hard. Not losing his smile but letting the fierceness of his eyes match his words. "I don't know what the proper etiquette is here but You said to fight hard and fight well and to join the Bulls so you can make me the best fighter." He would make a fist and point it at the black haired man, "Those are words of a warrior. So take this with no disrespect but from one warrior to another we both know words aren't enough and watching actions from a third person perspective don't quite cut it either. Warriors have to feel. Captain I would like to spar you so you can feel what I can bring to the table and so I can feel just how much further I can still grow. What do you say?" Not letting the Captain out of his sight he just backed up so he would be across the arena from where the Captain might enter or jump down. Once he was happy with the distance he made he would start to stretch in preparation for the fight that was about to go down. By all means he should be a bundle of nerves after all he just challenged a Captain to a fight, the fight that would help determine if he was going to be in the Black Bulls or not. However he wasn't he was excited to see what he can do against a Captain and to measure just how much of a distance there is between them.
Advent had been at the sidelines like many of the others observing in his own way the other people that wanted to become one of these magic knight thinger madoodles. He had remained seated through the entire thing so far but he was starting to become restless, he had no idea just how long this was going to take and now he just wanted to eat something. He was about to ask someone if there was somewhere he could get something because in honesty he didn't care if he wasn't really allowed to leave the arena, mainly because he had no idea what was going on or what he had actually signed up to. That, however, came to a sudden end as someone seemingly had caught his interest. He remained still and listened to how he spoke of warriors and what it was like to be one, he was under no disillusion that he was one, he couldn't do damage to save his life which was kind of ironic given he lived in a forest were bears and such had been trying to eat him for as long as he could remember. Luckily his parents always saved him if he was in over his head but a few of them like to make him sweat it until he cried for help, but most of them weren't that cruel.
Before long a challenge was offered to the captain of the black bulls, he had no idea what a squad was as no one had given him that information of yet but he guessed given the power that the people on high were giving out they were a big deal and so he knew that the other was either a complete idiot with a death wish or actually quite smart because he had the balls to do something no other person had. Using his sensory he felt a bit overwhelmed in all honesty as there were several stupidly strong powers and they were drowning out pretty much everyone and everything else. It was then Advent stood up and grinned as he started to walk towards Pyr. He stopped just in front of him and leaned forward bringing up his left hand to his chin as he did so as if inspecting him.
"He's going to floor you, you know." he said in a matter of a fact way, though he had a mischievous grin on his face as he came up with a way to make this a bit more fun especially with the lessons he had been taught.
"Warriors and healers need each other, its a matter of survival..." he said pointing to Pyr "From what he's shown he has no sensory abilities and has no healing to speak and me well I have no offence to speak of..." he paused for a moment as he completely forgot what the hell he was about to say
"Matray, concentrate..."
"Oh yeah, concentrate..." he rubbed the back of his head as he started to get his train of thinking back on track.
"As I was saying, he has no support and I have no offence. The first captain person thinger madoodle that spoke said we need to prove ourselves as individuals, in teams and if we decided to... sparring..." he said his head turning to Pyr "We both have serious weaknesses but our individual strengths can cover what the other lacks..." a grin coming to his face "We'd get creamed if we went against someone or something that strong alone in the wild so let's do what they suggested... let's work together as a team we'd both stand a better chance in the long run..." he moved to hug the other suddenly "Besides its the best way to show initiative don't you think?" he chuckled before letting go of Pyr.
He moved his head towards the captain "Hey! Mister guy, he called out! How about a two on one for funsies?!" he called out, he knew even together they didn't stand any real chance but it really did seem fun to the white-haired teen and that's all he really cared about at the moment.
The quiet chit chat of the others as those who wanted to remain to spar came to an abrupt end as two junior mages stood side by side and seemingly called out a captain. It was as if they couldn't believe what they were hearing or seeing; of course, it wasn't like Pyr had accepted his assistance but it was kinda too late they were in it now for the long haul, well that was of course if the captain took up the challenge. Something, however, told him however that the guy they had just challenged wasn't one to back down from any type of challenge so now he just hoped that the two of them were actually prepared for what this uphill struggle was going to be like.
"Do you think I might end up in this situation if I remain away from home?" he asked what seemed to be thin air
"There are several possibilities Matray, know your limits and don't get in over your head."
"Bit late to tell the boy that don't you think?"
"Do you think he's going to kill me?" he asked eventually his head tilting a little
"Unlikely given what and who he is, he will however likely make you hurt very, very badly."
"Well being hurt doesn't exactly seem like fun in all honesty." he said clasping his hands at the back of his head before shrugging "Bit too late to pull out now, ah well live and learn." he said grinning like a fool, he understood he done this to himself but outside of the bubble that was the arena and even the forest he knew as home there would be strong people that would want to do harm and wouldn't give a damn if they were attacking people weaker. He wasn't the strongest or the smartest but he did have his own code of sorts and it was the reason he was standing by Pyr now.
"That's the problem Matray, you'll forget and get into this situation over and over again."

Malcolm was sipping a drink, the ale here was kind of shit and he was not enjoying himself, the little incident with the Rogues could have been fun, but Zaven took one into custody, while bald eagle, Yuurei protected the captains and general populace. Regardless, everything was done now and it was back to being a spectator. Then there was an interesting occurrence, not one...but two of these examinee’s decided to challenge the Black Bull to a spar. The beastly aura of the captain seemed to flare at the thought of a challenge, even when it was more one sided than any fight he had ever been in before. His challengers; one of them was a boy that had some sort of performance issues until the dummies were introduced...which he mauled with his pure aura magic...the other was supposedly a blind little shit that did not know his name, which was a first. They seemed to come and collaborate to save each other’s ass here and Malcolm was not one to disappoint.
The Black Bull stood up and unbuttoned his mercenary jacket, before handing it to Rosalia as he offered her his seat. ”Please have a seat...this will not take long.” He said with a grin, untucking his black tank top before he leaped out of the Captain’s stand and down into the arena. He landed on the stone as it cracked under his pressure, standing tall among those in the arena, shooing off any that were waiting their turn. A grin on his face as his eyes showed a more predatory side to the captain.
“Well then shall we get started, you two come one and come at me at once, obviously not you blind kid...It is not fun playing hide and seek...I will come to you. So I guess lets see what you can do then dummy killer.” Malcolm would say, holding one hand up and waving him over in direct challenge.

Pyr was waiting for the captain to accept or decline his request for a spar. So he didn’t see when Advent got up much when he walked over to him. Pyr looked at the guy as he got in his face, and even the person in front of him was wearing a blindfold Pyr got the strange sensation that he was being stared at. Before he could speak to the strange person he was told that he was going to get floored. Pyr’s eyes remained sharp and smiled, “I’d expect nothing less from a Captain. Doesn’t mean this won’t be any less fun either.” He looked back up at the Captain but the strange person proposed an interesting idea to Pyr. He suggested that they team up against the captain, with Pyr being the offense while Advent be the support admitting that he has no offensive and backed up his point of their teaming up with several points and an example that they would both get their butts kicked if they fought something this strong in the wild. “Well getting beat here is unavoidable but I knew that going in to this. Either way if you want to step in you are more than welcome to. Either way I am gonna fight him.” He saw the man attempt to hug him but Pyr lifted his arms up not taking part of the hug and gave an uncomfortable laugh before being let go. Afterwards Pyr would watch as the blindfolded man shouted up to Malcolm requesting a two on one match.
Pyr’s eyes locked onto Malcolm as his Aura flared up upon being challenged, it was a sight to behold. “So that is the power of a Captain.” he would say to himself but he wasn’t nervous instead he was interested more than anything. Before too much time passed by the captain unbuttoned his jacket and handed it to the young woman he was with before jumping down. He landed with the same authority that he commanded. Pyr respected that but that was why he felt the need to challenge him, also his thirst for battle couldn’t be satiated if he didn’t at the very least try to fight him. The captain called him dummy killer and with a hand gesture called him over to fight. Cracking his neck he took a step forward, “Don’t concern yourself with him. He may be here as support but this when it gets down to it I want to join your squad. So you can consider this me looking for a direct interview.” he would say before looking back at his impromptu teammate. “Alright my blind friend time to get this started.” he said before giving his attention back to the Captain. He started to walk towards the Captain who hadn’t yet moved but once he approached the area where Close combat would be more ideal to start picking up the pace,”This is going to be fun” he said as he was within striking distance of the Captain he would put up his hands before throwing a feint left jab but just before it would come to connect with the Captain he would pull it back to change the angle and refire as he attempted to flank to the right side of the Captain with a sharp hook aiming for the ribs of the Captain if he didn’t respond properly. He wasn’t sure what his friend could possibly do but he did hope that the support he could provide mixed well with the combat style that Pyr utilized.

Advent grinned much like a Cheshire cat, he hadn't been aware if the other person taking the exam had been aware of his presence until he had been made it known. It was understandable given just how things were, he had never been in such an atmosphere before and the energy was electrifying in his opinion, he could only imagine how those who used other types of magic felt it. He was starting to get distracted by the time the other had started speaking to him about how he expected nothing less than being creamed by the guy he had just called out, with this he turned his head a little towards Pyr once more a childishly innocent smile on his face.
"Well so longs you know and want to have some fun, no harm no foul." was the only thing he could say with a shrug, he just wanted to take part in the fun, if he ever went home he wanted stories to tell the other and this would be a good one in his mind.
He was at least trying to make friends and he was fighting someone stupid strong, he knew that this was going to hurt no matter what happened if the older male got his hands on him, ah well he only lived once so he might as well enjoy himself or at least that was his way of thinking anyway.
"Oh, I'd put information on the fact we're going to get a beating we'll remember for years from this guy." he chuckled, his tone showed this was nothing more than a game to him and had entered this unusual match with this mentality "We just have a better chance not failing completely if we work with each other, so... let's work together like the thinger mah bob captain said." at this point he wasn't quite sure which captain was which, for all he knew it was a single hydra up there watching them.
He pinged out his sensory so he could get a clear reading of the magical energy around them and the reading he got almost floored him, it showed with how he shifted his body but at the same time, he was jumping from one foot to the next clapping his hands excited at what he had just felt.
"Wow, they're stupid strong... are we fighting all of them?" he inquired to Pyr, of course, this was a stupid question because the chances of them getting past this first guy without needing healing was non-existent but still he thought he should ask just in case.
He didn't take offence as the other had prevented the hug but the uncomfortable laugh confused him, it was easily seen on his face but before he could ask about it the flaring of the captain in questions magic caught his attention. "Got to wonder where he stands against the others." he said tilting his head, scratching his left cheek as if trying to figure out who was actually the strongest out of the hydra squad as he now thought of them.
Hearing Pyr's words he could only shrug "I guess so, but I couldn't tell you if he's the strongest in the hydra elite." he said calmly; if he was asked he would explain his words, their energies though clearly different seemed to blend as if a single being, well there was that and he guessed whatever a magic knight was they worked as a single entity just with different heads much like a hydra from the tales he was told from when he was growing.
As Malcolm spoke about coming at him but for Advent to wait he would come at him as hide and seek wasn't fun. "I enjoy hide and seek and you mister guy are a big glowing target so I don't need to seek you." he pointed out to the other with a happy smile as if he had just pointed out a flaw in his statement.
His body language hadn't exactly changed but he was starting to draw in the moisture that made mist from the air, he had no idea how well this would work against a mage of someone as strong as his opponent but if nothing else he could be a distraction to allowing the other a little bit of an edge. As he drew the moisture he started to condense it into a mist that started to creep out thickening much like a fog hoping that it would obscure Malcolm's vision, he knew it would do nothing to prevent sensory detection but he knew not all mages were sensory sensitive and even those that were, were at different levels of sensitivity. His eyes moved around quickly as he pinged out, he knew that the other had shown no specialization for sensory so he would likely have to be Pyr's eyes if the situation called for it, ironic in his mind as he was the only one there that couldn't see a damned thing.
"Hay aura friend person, I don't know how well this is going to work but it should buy you one or two attempts to hit, make them count." he, of course, was being generous when he was saying this as he had no idea what the captain they where fighting was capable of but still he would give the other everything he had so he had the best chance of at least getting a hit in.
He kept pinging out his senses so he could keep track of their enemy because he would need to move if they got to close, the problem was this was flat ground, there was nowhere to hide or climb so it limited him within reason. "If you lose track of the captain let me know I can give you a general direction, you want more than that I'll need to change spell to something more specialised." he called out to the other it as the mist reached its limit still increasing on just how thick it was becoming.

The Black Bull heard the two kids communicate before the fight began. It was good that they chose a two on one fight, they were stronger together and it made the collapse of their team a bit more brutal when he could do so one at a time. Cut might also serve as a teaching tool for others so that they may get strong as well when it comes for hand to hand combat. The arena began to fill with a mist that was a little difficult to see through, but not impossible, the blind kid said something to which Malcolm ignored, which might have turned out to be a mistake, but he could feel the other one...he approached with an attack.
”you are still new to this, you're too slow, this interview may not take long.”. Malcolm warned Pyre as the kid appeared before him looking to throw a left, but a simple glance to his eyes showed he was aiming for something to the right. Malcolm allowed the punch to connect to his ribs before wrapping his arm around the dummy killer’s right arm in his ribs like a snake would coil around its prey. With the dummy killer right where he wanted him, he would move to give a direct punch to the solar plexus of Pyre for [intermediate damage] and attempt to grapple the dummy killer
Once he had a firm grip on the dummy killer he would pick him up, attempting to throw him at the blind kid judging by his last position. If the throw went through and both of them were hit Malcolm would simply stand there and command. ”again.”
If by chance the throw happened and the blind kid was missed then Malcolm would laugh. ”how the hell did ya move that fast no eyed willy?. He would ask before walking around the arena, searching for the Advent.

Before the fight could get started Pyr heard his friend mention how everyone up there was stupid strong and asked if they were fighting all of them. Pyr would chuckle "I mean if they want to fight I would oblige win or lose but this guy is the only one I am interested in fighting right now." He kept his smile but since the man obviously couldn't see a thing he would try to have his tone of voice paint that picture for him. Pyr would ponder the next question but the only answer he could come up with was pretty simple, "No way to know but since he is willing to fight that tells me combat wise he might be at the top." Either way they were going to most definitely find out just how strong he is. Pyr would advance on Malcolm as the mist would cause viability to become limited but with close combat about to occur he wouldn't have more than the one or two shots Advent mentioned.
Malcolm mentioned he was moving too slow and that the interview won't take long. Pyr's punch connected to the Captain's ribs but the arm of the Captain would wrap around Pyr's arm and lock it tight. One of two things was about to come, either an straight arm lock to hyperextend the arm or it was merely a clinch to strike. It would be the latter as Malcolm would aim to strike him with a stiff punch. He would take the hit and breathe out as the strike connected in order to not have the wind knocked out of him. Malcolm was quick to set up an arm throw following up with the punch. As Pyr was coming up over Malcolm's body for the throw he would sneak his arm under the front arm and with the momentum he would attempt to pull Malcolm down to the ground with him. "I will make it last as long as possible." he would say with this attempt to use the Captain's strength and momentum to roll the captain onto his back. Upon success he would go drop a leg over the Captain's head and attempt to lock in a straight armbar on the Captain. "I'll make it last as long as I can!"
Before the skirmish had started he listened to his teammate answer his question, he was surprised to hear that the other wouldn't mind if the other captains would want to take a piece but at that time he had the one he really wanted to impress. To be honest, he was quite interested to see if any of the others would take him up on that challenge, it sounded quite fun to run a captain gauntlet but that's all saying that they could actually move after this match, he wasn't holding up much hope on that but stranger things had happened. He was able to leave his home after all and he had found many strange things and people on his journey to get to where he gained his grimoire and even ending up in some sort of contest that he knew nothing about. Now he thought about it he had no idea what would happen at the end as he didn't have all the information when he stumbled into the exam in the first place, this was nothing more than a learning experience for him and he would most likely just continue travelling wherever his feet would take him. That's how he ended up in this predicament in the first place after all.
Advent kept the mist up as the skirmish started, he didn't know what was going on but he wasn't stupid enough to remain where he had been casting the spell and so started to move quickly and quietly anti-clockwise from where he was standing remaining within the mist. Biting his bottom lip he saw a flaw within himself that he knew needed to be dealt with, most people used their eyes to see things, he was one of the unfortunate few that was born with the unlucky ticket that made him forfeit his sight. At home, this hadn't been much of an issue because he knew that place from memory and animals worked in certain ways when certain seasons or circumstances happened. People were still primal animals but they had evolved in such a way that their movements couldn't be as easily predicted as say a bear, this was where he was flawed and so would have to way to compensate for not being able to observe another and thus adapt. Maybe one of the captains whoji mah whatsits would be able to give him some advice on how he could better himself in what he was quite lacklustre in but that was an issue for later Advent to deal with... if later Advent actually remembered to ask someone, he wasn't holding his breath as later Advent being later Advent would be distracted by a mothball most likely.
Advent tilted his head as he thought on what Pyr had said and turned his head to where the other captains had been sitting, he knew that Malcolm was holding back but he still couldn't find the power pecking order and that actually frustrated the white-haired teen the more he thought on it.
"Hey! Mister Guy!" Advent called from behind the pair "What is the pecking order of the Hydra Squad?" he called to him his voice showing he was genuinely interested in his question and what the captain thought before he started moving again knowing he had just given away his location and would rather not get hurt if it could be avoided. He wasn't meaning the squad standings, he actually wanted to know which captain stood where.
Even with quite a bit of noise coming from the pair and the stands around them Advent could hear the sudden exhale of breath that Pyr released and knew just by how it sounded that the other had taken a hit. Advent merely flicked his hand a little and under Pyr's feet appeared a glowing ice blue and white magic circle; From the magic circle, it would feel as if a refreshing sea breeze mist would start moving around Pyr helping him to revitalise. This left Advent a bit of an issue as now he was using two spells it would put more of a strain on his limited mana pool. Bobbing his head from left to right he was fighting with himself to decide what his next course of action should actually be, in the end however he decided to drop the mist as the pair had already decided to become a tangled mess and concentrate on making sure Pyr remained healed enough to get his point across.
By the time the mist had fully dissipated Advent was closer to where the captains were leaning against a pillar with his arms crossed as if he was watching some sort of boring or odd play, playout in front of him. "Uh-huh..." he said to his partner as he heard what the comment that he made "Pretty sure mister guy there is holding back." he added on, there was no way he would have got to a captain if the feeling he was getting off Malcolm was real he, of course, could be faking it but something told him this really wasn't the case on this occasion.
His head went to his head as he felt a little dizzy, the only reason that had ever happened was when he was running through his mana too quickly, he really hoped that Pyr would make his point before they ran out of mana. He had personally never had it happen to him but he had heard of other mages who had and it had never ended well for them. Regardless of how he was feeling or how close he ever came to running out of mana he would stand by the other, he had, after all, put himself forward for this uphill battle, he was however internally chewing out past Advent for his short-sightedness. He had no idea what a captain was or how strong they may be but he had pinged out his senses and upon receiving the information should have noped the hell out but this was a way to much of an interesting and fun thing for him to pass up and so now he was left with whatever outcome that decision would bring his way.

“Goddammit you little shit, did I say you could hitch a ride?” Malcolm asked the dummy killer...he was annoyed that somehow the man managed to stay on him before the Blind boy wonder spoke behind him, asking what the pecking order was...Fine time to beat a motherfucker...with a motherfucker. He let Pyr put his arm into a lock as he hoped he would hold on for dear life as he re-directed the throw to try and use the dummy killer like a gauntlet for a spinning backfist on the blind kid. He moved at an impossible speed before finally managing to hit air. He called out to the blind kid as the mist began to thin out. ”Getting really tired of your bullshit already bat boy.” Malcolm would say, giving notice to the fucking anklebiter that was formerly known as the dummy killer. ”Try try try, I have heard those words before from one of my members just before I launched him out of the training ring.” Malcolm grinned before bringing his arm with the kid down onto the arena floor hard. It was meant to daze him.
Up at the captain’s grandstand Zaven, captain of the Golden Dawn would be the first to shoo the kid off telling him that if he didn’t hold back he would not have missed twice against the blind kid. Hopefully if he listened the kid would move back to the arena as the mist completely dissipated.
Malcolm noticed the spell underneath Pyr at the last moment before tracing the mana signature back to its host. ”Bat boy, get down here!” Malcolm would call out.

Pyr had managed to complete the counter locking in an the straight arm lock. However it was a short lived victory as he didn't quite account that his overall leverage would be countered by the Captain's brutality. He was being yelled at by the Captain who was made he held on like he did. "I wasn't just going to let you throw me with an obvious move." he said still latched onto his arm. The next thing he knew he was being carried by the Captain and spinning in the air towards where Advent was last seen and swung like a baseball bat. Luckily he had gotten out of the way but the Captain had a plan B for Pyr. The next thing he knew he was lifted up and slammed onto the ground. However the pain he had felt from before had vanished as he smelled like a sea breeze enter his nose. He realized that his friend must have healed him from before, breathing was easier.
He wasn't paying close attention to his partner but he knew that he was somewhere above them when he spoke to someone about the Captain holding back. Pyr heard the Captain yell up at Advent or Batboy as he called him and demanded he get back down here. "He is distracted. Here is my chance!" he thought to himself as he was still on the ground from being slammed he gripped the captain's right arm with his left. He pushed his heel into the captain's left hip as his right foot went behind the heel of the same leg. Pyr would reach with his right hand for the Captain's left pant leg and grip it as tight as he could. He would push on the hip as the foot behind the heel would trip, and his right hand would pull the other leg to aid in making the sweeping maneuver land. Knowing the Captain's strength even if Pyr didn't get the Captain all the way down more than likely he would be pulled into the air as a reaction. "Thanks for the heal!" he would say to his blind friend. Once he was in the air Pyr would try to take an opportunity to attack the Captain, "Hammer of Ajax" he would form his war hammer out of his aura and with all his might he would attempt to slam the head of hammer onto the Captain. Pyr didn't need to win. He knew that wasn't an outcome that was very probable but he just needed to show that Captain that he was someone worth his time.
Advent remained at his perch a smile on his face as it looked like he was watching the tussle happen below, in honesty he had no idea what was going on but he didn't hear a wet splat like noise so he was at least happy to know that Pyr was still alive. He also didn't really hear any cussing below but couldn't tell if that was a good or a bad thing the more he thought on it. That was, of course, short-lived as Malcolm aired his grievance at being used for a piggyback ride by the other. Advent couldn't help but be immature and giggle at how the oldest of the three males he presumed by tone was getting irritated by his current match partner, he was giggling so hard he actually fell backwards and landed right into Zaven's lap and brought his hand to his blindfold as if he was about to raise it with a goofy grin but he just checked that it hadn't moved. He knew his eyes were unique and that's why he had been told that he always had to keep them hidden, in honesty, he thought his parents were just being super protective given he never actually interacted with anyone who visited the forest and he never left the damned place until he had turned fifteen years old. It had been a bizarre few months, to say the least.
With his eyes covered he grinned up to the Golden Dawn captain but smelt things he didn't expect from someone so strong, they were delicate, something a young woman would wear and use, something this somewhat muscle-bound guy most certainly not. He remained there for a moment trying to pinpoint the smells and wasn't quite to the point he was smelling Zaven before he sat upon his lap as if a kid on some sort of buff Santa clause.
"You smell of talc, tea tree, hicubus and cherry blossoms. You are either the most effeminate buff guy out there or you have a girlfriend." he commented to the captain he was sat on.
It was when he started talking to Malcolm Advent grinned like a Cheshire cat "Thing with Bulls, they get distracted and see red easily so you can avoid them just as easily." he said happily as if he had just released some sagely wisdom on the Golden Dawn captain before hopping off his lap and sitting facing him before falling back and hanging from his legs from the captain's area.
"Well, if your guy got chucked out the training ring when you can't even get him off you then there are issues." he called out to Malcolm, it was clear the blind white-haired kid had no filter on him and spoke things as he understood them.
When he heard Malcolm calling for him to get back down from where he was now currently hanging he shook his head "Nah, I enjoy just hanging around with your friends..." he grinned slyly "Besides bats don't ever go on the ground" he felt the blood moving to his head making him floaty but it just made him that much more giggly in the long run.
Hearing the other thanking for the heal he put an index finger to each cheek and gave an innocent toothy grin while still hanging upside down "What I'm here for." he replied cheerily, he was just glad that he could be of some use and for now decided he would hold off from ending his spell as he wasn't so sure that the Black Bull captain was quite through with Pyr just yet.
It was then he felt Pyr's mana flux as he called out the name of his spells, it was as if he too was sick of playing around and wanted to let his hopefully future captain feel the potential he had. He had to admit it was one hell of a way to make an impression to what seemed like a really odd guy. He guessed that each person had their quirks but this captain seemed like a fun guy in all the white-haired teen's mind and hoped after this whole exam thinger he accidentally landed himself into that they could spend some time together and perhaps even become friends. This wasn't something he had many of, actually, now he thought about it he didn't have any living friends and the dead friends he did have were pretty much his parents.
This thought didn't affect the youth that much as it was how he was raised and he understood it was for his protection that he had always been hidden from outsiders. He understood that even more when he came across people who hurt those who couldn't defend themselves. They were never seen again and Advent never revealed what he had done to the poor unfortunate souls he decided to 'play' with. From his dangling position, he started rocking sideways humming contently as he waited for the captain and Pyr to make their next moves, it was beyond intense in the youth's mind but this wasn't really something he had any intention of getting involved in. His job was to make sure Pyr didn't get turned into a jam and stuck in a box or a jar depending on just how much was left, then again now that he thought about it, it could be a little bit of both categories.
His mind also wondered that if the Captain of the Black Bulls would finally get serious and show Pyr why he was part of the hydra squad as he put it, only time would tell and he was more than happy to hang around to get the answers.
Name of Spell: Seabreeze Elemental Type: Mist Rank & Spell Type: Junior | Healing Range & Speed: 25 meters | 10 m/s Mana Cost: 10 | 5 Stats Effected: N/A Applicable Perks: Artillery Support Description: As most know when waves of the ocean crash against rocks or other hard things it can create a gentle after mist that floats on the air afterwards that feels refreshing on the face. Advent himself has never felt this sensation from an actual ocean but he has had it simulated with the help of a few of his guardians and their magic, feeling just how good it felt he tried to make the same sort of effect with his own magic. Advent flicks his hands ever so slightly regardless of where his arm is located creating what seems like a single light blue and white magic circle underneath an ally for max heal, using the ammo rules he can target and create multiple smaller circles under several allies. These magic circles create a continuous light mist around the target(s) healing them over time and allowing him to try and remove hexes, curses and poisons until either fully healed or the spell is ended by Advent himself.

Malcolm Sighed as he heard the blind kid speak out against his insults. It was frankly annoying and he had to be on his toes in this thing even against juniors in this training spar. Case and point, as he was not paying attention, Pyr performed a maneuver that caught him off guard as he flew up and then landing hard on the training area he felt the mana flow as the dummy killer created a hammer and swung it down towards his chest.
With a laugh Malcolm caught the hammer with his bare hands and grinned as he looked up at the dummy killer and shoved him back before sweeping his own legs like a whirlwind before launching himself up and standing tall in the training arena he sighed and scratched the back of his head. He held up a hand to the dummy killer before looking up to Advent.
"Alright you little shit, get back down here...I have seen what I needed to in this exchange. I can honestly say that I did not expect that combo to work. Consider yourselves Black Bulls...I have seen enough of the both of you to know that you pieces of work will fit in great with the lot of bulls that I have at the base. Also bat kid...how would you even fucking know what the color red is..." He exclaimed as he probably astonished everyone there with his proclamation at wanting the two young mages.
Meanwhile Zaven while the fight was going on, Advent sat in the man's lap. Commenting on his phone before Zaven just sighed. "I am tired of the antics today kid, if you are trying to get a rise out of me...it won't happen the door only swings one way I am afraid. Plus you are much too inexperienced, now go down there and get away from here." Zaven said as the kid went and started to hang upside down like an acual bat before talking shit on the Black Bull. Zaven groaned "LEAVE KID, GO!" Zaven said as he sat in his chair, finally though as Malcolm said what he said Zaven had to chuckle...just like the bull to do something like that.
Once Malcolm said his piece he went back up to the captain's stand and looked at the blind boy wonder..."god dammit you little shit. Go back down there." HE said waving his hands at the kid...
What an interesting Magic Knight Exam this turned out to be.
