A secondary stronghold that serves as the connection between Skjærgard and Mandrenke, it is here that the Skjærhaust and Eilífdring giants come to discuss the issues that they face as a species, as well as any issues on their respective islands. Far smaller in size than Nordhjem, it is arguably the most important of the two giant-built locations. As it is also the only thing connecting the two island, this would also be the first place people would see when venturing in from Mandrenke. Making a good first impression here will go a long way towards not getting smashed to pulp by an ice giant mistaking you for a Villtsung.

Once the stronghold of the Skjærhaust during the War of the Giants, the place has become a shadow of its former self. Where forges were once blazing day in and day out, pushing out swords and armors around the clock, it's been reduced to living quarters, hunting stations and a great hall. As there is no longer a real king ruling the Skjærhaust, the great hall basically serves as a tavern where the local ice giants come to drink, boast and fight, as well as to plan their next hunt. Though this place is considered safe from most outside elements, the Skjærhaust do not really differentiate between humans and Villtsung, the latter being a species they hate to the point where they will try to kill them on sight. So do be careful when venturing near or inside of this stronghold.

Spanning the entire area in the center of the island, running all the way down to the south and bordering on the Vestrænn Mountains to the north and west, it is a massive stretch that exists mostly out of frozen lakes and ponds, some barren trees and plants that have adjusted in some extent to the extreme cold and a bunch of rock formations and abandoned structures left from the War of the Giants. Here, one can expect to be attacked by roving packs of Hróðvitnir, as well as the chance of falling prey to a Rimkvarda looking for something to eat that is not either ice or snow. At the far edges of the Midten Tundra, one can also find the caverns the Wilkotak call home.

he unforgiving mountains are by far the coldest region of all the islands, so cold it even bothers the local ice giants. Covered in an almost constant blizzard caused by the winds coming in from the ocean and the snowfall on the island itself, it is in this area that the Rimkvarda dwell. Resting deep beneath the snow and ice or braving the cold winds to head over to the Midten Tundra to hunt, it is also here that their broodmother slumbers. While the exact location is unknown, it is believed she is far, far beneath the ice, having slumbered for decades now, which she will continue to do unless somehow awoken from it.
