Welcome to the Clover Kingdom, a peaceful and prosperous land under the protection of the Order of Magic Knights and all-powerful Wizard King. A magical society, all citizens in the land have magical abilities, however, only the strongest among them become Magic Knights, brave and powerful magic users who stand as protectors and heroes to the people.

While the tensions between Diamond and Clover were always relatively high, for a period there was a steady amount of trade and communication between the two. It was a time where Clover Kingdom and its knights became rather comfortable and complacent. Without much notice, Diamond attacked Clover...

Diamond soldiers sieged the town of Aries Garse, nearly capturing the city but were held off by the Magic Knights in the area. At the same time a Shining Generals attacked the Capital of Clover. She orchestrated a jailbreak, causing the city to be overrun by criminals. While the woman was unable to cause any major deaths or damage to the city or its knights, the prisoners that she released caused massive panic and death among the commoners of the area.

Over the next five years, the two nations would trade blow for blow with each other. It was during this time that the Captain of the Silver Eagles was kidnapped by Diamond and presumed dead for the next few years. Various dungeons were captured by Diamond during this time, such as the Sea Temple and the Volcano Grand Magic Zone.

As the war heightened, the Royal Knights were able to effectively kill key generals and lay claim to the town of Labradorite in the region known as The Fringe. This was a viable military position for Diamond and where they were expected to station most of their advance troops for the upcoming battles. With two of the Shining Generals being killed, Diamonds forces for once appeared to be at a greater disadvantage to Clover.

In the months after taking over Labradorite, Clover and Diamond entered into a stalemate situation again. Neither side was able to make any significant progress against the other. All this changed with Diamond taking the war straight to Clover’s doorsteps. The Shining Palace was a construct birthed by stitching together various mana zones into a single entity. Though the losses on both sides were great, in the end, Clover forces were able to destroy the Palace and end the lives of multiple Shining Generals in the process. Though Clover had lost several of their Captains, it was during this time that new younger mages stepped up and took on the burden of the title Captain. With the fall of the Shining Palace, the war was officially over. Diamond’s forces were left in a miserable state. Clover allowed the country to remain its own state, not wishing to push into their territory as they had to theirs. Instead, Clover was able to create a trade treaty that would heavily benefit their own pockets by exploiting Diamond’s lack of strength.

A year has passed since the war came to its dramatic end. While peace seems to have once again taken hold in the Clover Kingdom, forces beyond the eye of the Magic Knights seem to be stirring. The Witches’ Forest still has kept its borders shut to all that try to enter or leave, keeping many witches displaced. In the Fringe, a collective of various wanted citizens has gathered, forming the criminal organization known as Eclipsed Ravens. Issues between nobles and commoners have once again taken center stage as their common enemy has faded away. With each passing day, the nobles’ wealth and power grow while many commoners struggle to rebuild from the war.

The Fringe is slowly becoming populated with citizens of Clover that have left their homes to pursue a chance at a new life in unclaimed lands. This is leaving many towns in the Common and Forsaken Regions even more deserted than they already were. Towns like Kikka and Raque continue to grow despite these woes due to the influx of Clover x Diamond trade.

Whispers have started to reach Clover through the various trade routes that dark things are happening in their neighboring countries. Things that are not of this world. Villages have been erased from the map overnight. Dark cults have started to taken root in these nation’s populace, converting their members to worshiping beings that have no place in this world. How long will Clover be able to dismiss these stories as just rumors from merchants?
