Hans was not expecting to be greeted by the Golden Dawn Vice-Captain...hell, he wasn't expecting to be greeted by any of the folks currently spectating. "Hm?" Hans looked down at Cyrus' hand for a second before shaking it. If this was the old Hans, he would not have paid the guy any attention, but the dark mage was starting to get used to this sort of stuff now. "Yeah, Hans Walker." the dark mage said in return with a nod. What Hans was also not expecting was the spirit that the Magic Knight had. The dark mage gave her a nod as well. This wasn't Hans' first time interacting with one...but fortunately, this one didn't start off with him mistaking her for a golem. Hans doubts that Valo's spirit has ever forgiven him for that....

Speaking of, with those introductions out of the way, Hans brought his attention back to Valo and Hania's match. Things appeared to be starting off with some hand-to-hand action which is something Hans knew full well that Valo was an expert at. Still, Hania appeared to be holding his own good enough. Things were going pretty normal...until Valo took a jab at the entire Ravencrest family. "Of course..." Hans muttered to himself before shaking his head a bit. He didn't seem disappointed or surprised by Valo's comment. Knowing the fire mage, Hans would've been surprised if he didn't end up making such a comment during the duration of this battle. Much like Cyrus, Hans was also curious about Lydia's response and glanced over at the woman. From the angle Hans was sitting, Lydia appeared to be keeping her cool...other than the noticeable cracks on the stone she was gripping. It was safe to say that she didn't take that well. Hans didn't really have a big opinion about the Ravencrests as a whole one way or another, and the same could be said about other noble families. The dark mage was the type to judge folks individually.

The dark mage's attention had then shifted to Verena's battle, raising an eyebrow at the name of the first golems she summoned. "Kikka?" What an...interesting name for such a bizarre-looking golem. There was obviously some deep meaning behind it...but Hans wasn't going to attempt to figure it out. Seeing as these golems had wings, their mobility will prove to be troubling for her opponent. Still, the guy fought...and with sword in hand, something that piqued the dark mage's interest. Hans has a similar sword with him so that was worth noting...Well, the fact that the guy was using a sword in general was worth noting in his eyes.

The fight between those two was going well so far, but then...

"S-So....many..."

Without even realizing it, Hans was on his feet, hands gripping the stone as he watched Verena summon a small army of golems...varying in elements! Is this how far the summoner has come? The battle was truly getting interesting...but that was not the only one.

Hans felt another surge of magic coming from where Hania and Valo were...specifically coming from the former. "So...that's a spirit dive?" Hans muttered once more. Did the ice mage always possess such power? Ardere also appeared to have intervened in the fight between Willow and her opponent, but the dark mage was honestly too distracted by the powerful magic bursting from the other two battles. He wasn't sure which one he should focus on, occasionally popping back and forth from the two as he silently analyzed what was happening.
