When Advent had followed the rushing youths to the lines of the arena he had no idea what to expect, he has waited in line like everyone else and when told to move forward he had without a second thought, of course, he did find it strange when they asked for his name, where he had come from and to see his grimoire but he gave them everything they needed and was navigated into an arena filled with other mages. He had wondered what was going on before it seemed like several speeches had been given but the very first one had made the youth raise his hand and ask what he deemed a really important question... what was a magic knight. He heard the snickers and the comments of disbelief as he had asked but given how he was raised there was no way he could possibly have this information. He had lived his entire life in a bubble isolated from the world outside it so he wasn't at all prepared for things like this, his hand went to his side and realised he had forgotten the trigger trinket his parents said he should take with him. He had hoped that whatever this was there'd be something that his trinket would have helped him remember but no such luck, it honestly didn't help that when he moved to leave he was denied until the exam had come to an end. That was frustrating but he knew he had to play by the rules of others when he wasn't home and so just found a place to sit down.
He had sat quietly being entertained by the magics that were being used by the other people who had signed up for the indignity as he saw it to be circus animals for the few on high evaluating their skills. When it was his own turn he thought he was about to get into trouble for doing something until it was clarified it was his turn and even offered to be escorted into the arena due to his disability. He shook his head telling the kind woman that he had travelled here without help so he was pretty sure that he would be able to get to the centre of the arena without it, he made sure to thank her however for the offer. Getting to the centre he looked towards the five magic knights who were there for him to use if needed and after remembering why they were there he notified them that he didn't need them at that point but he'd need one of them injured eventually but for not to wander off. As they did Advent had cast his first spell and listened to every word they had said about the others and even himself through the spell that he had cast asking them two questions and putting what he deemed as the bullies in their place. That wasn't met very well as one of the five had attacked him, he had managed to get his concealing spell started but he hadn't been quick enough and still got hurt by a weapon that was laced with poison by the knight. The knight was swiftly taken down but it had ticked the youth off enough that when he pointed out the fact he believed he had been poisoned and it was confirmed then aid given he refused it using his own healing magic as he went to sit back down.
Soon enough he had been sent with three others to find a lost puppy, it had been a strange experience in his mind but he didn't really dislike the three he was with but then he didn't exactly get to sit down and play fifty questions with them. He did, however, get a brief explanation on what a magic knight was as well as what squads were. He hadn't paid to much attention but even if he had he would have forgotten by the end of the task. They each played their part, he himself had to tell the other sensory user not to waste her own mana as he could tell that his spell was slightly better for their current task so he'd deal with sensory freeing her up to take on other tasks to help the others. They, of course, found the puppy, she had been injured from her misadventure and being hunted by mana beasts but they had taken care of the thread, healed the pup and went back to the arena to allow the lost puppy to go back to her family and hoped they had all learned a thing or two in the process.
The last part of the exam was something that Advent had really no interest in as he knew he wasn't equipped for it, sparring. He had no defensive nor offensive magic so was going to sit it out, that quickly changed as one of the other participants of the exams decided to challenge one of the powerful peanut gallery. The blind youth couldn't tell if he was really brave or extremely stupid as he could tell the differences in power and from what he had observed from the man's solo performance didn't have an ounce of sensory or healing in his body. His mind changed at that point as he moved over to the challenger and informed him that he'd get creamed before altering the original challenge to the captain. A two on one fight and it was quickly accepted by the captain at hand. Advent didn't really do much as he just put up a fog that seemed ineffective but managed to allow him to get behind the captain to say something before casting a healing spell to help the other as he climbed up to be near the captains. It turned out he actually got under the skin of two captains instead of just one but it had seemed that the captain they had been fighting put an end to it as he said he had seen everything he needed to from the pair before telling Advent to get back into the arena.
Advent eventually left the captain's perch and was back in the arena to where he was sitting before just feeling out the other sparring matches that would happen after the one he had taken part in. It wasn't that long before everything was said and done and people were again called up to find out who wanted them and what they would choose if there was more than one captain interested. When Advent's name was called he walked up and listened to everything, he remained silent as the captain's of the Silver Eagles, Black Bulls, Coral Peacocks and Azure Deer gave him signs that they would happily accept him into their squads.
Without missing a beat Advent tilted his head up as if looking to the four "Can I go now?" He asked and without waiting for an answer just walked off leaving the arena without giving them a verbal answer but his actions said it all, he wasn't interested.

Malcolm watched the one kid that everyone seemed to want in their squad...just take his leave...The little shit just asked if he could go, it made Malcolm nearly choke on blood as he just looked at the kid. That little blind bastard just took off and denied all of them, it made the Black Bull captain, Malcolm Watanabe laugh out loud to the point where the other captains would even have a look at him. Before Zaven or Rosa could ask him about it though, Malcolm just handed Rosa a few mantles and grinned, keeping one for himself. ”Just give the newbie’s their mantles and meet me at the hotel in a bit, I am gonna go see why that blind bat is giving us the ol’ split-n-get.” Malcolm said before saluting the other captains and heading out through the stairwell he came back up in.
Making it outside he quickly looked around and tried to find him, he was not going to let this opportunity slip him by, but in all actuality he found the kid quite easily. He walked up beside him and put his hands behind his head as he walked alongside the blind Advent, who did not seem to falter at all despite not being able to see absolutely anything.
”So do you just fuckin’ go wherever you want and do whatever you want? Cuz, that is kind of cool...and I am not one to judge on that or anything, but you are blind as fuck...how have you not died?” Malcolm asked, he didn’t bring up the Magic Knight Exam at all, he was just interested in the kid genuinely at this point, of course he brought the mantle with him in case the opportunity arose to give the blind kid one...he would take it.
”Also how the fuck did you just end up in the exams? Like that is a pretty ballsy move even in my part...though I guess some Rogues also tried to be dumb so...well this was an eventful thing. Where are we heading to next?” He asked with curiosity, he began to wave his hand in front of Advent’s face like some kid that had never seen a blind person before.
Advent was none the wiser of what had happened in the arena after he had asked if he could leave and quickly left the vicinity, he had no idea what the hell he had just taken part it, but, he would likely take part in it again if he had the chance because it was kind of fun in his eyes. Of course, this was if he remembered that such a thing actually existed. He continued walking down the street his hands clasped behind his back as he looked up at the sky completely avoiding everyone, not that it was that hard as everyone seemingly avoided him. It seemed like people in the royal city always took note of those trying to become magic knights and a lot of people left without being awarded a placement every time such an event took place. They had seen him enter the arena and walk back out without a mantle so likely suspected that he didn't make the cut but they didn't seem to avoid the ones that didn't make the cut. It didn't bother him, he didn't know these people and what they thought of him meant nothing to him due to it, it was what it was at the end of the day.
Hearing a voice he stopped and turned around looking to the one who was seemingly speaking to him tilting his head a little to the left, he himself looked confused as all hell because by this point he had already forgotten about what had previously been doing.
"Um... Do I know you? Your voice seems familiar but no idea where I've heard it before." his voice seemed sincere as he spoke to the captain in front of him.
The issue was before he could answer the question he just turned and started to walk down a side street jumping between the walls of the buildings to climb up and end up on the roofs of the buildings and started moving forward again before moving to be on a handstand and using his hands to walk instead of his feet. He was chuckling and giggling happily like an innocent child playing a game as he did so.
'Matray, you left someone behind and they were asking you things.'
"Well it was a stranger and if they really find it important they know where I am so they can ask me again." he said bringing his legs down behind him but keeping his hands on the ground now moving forward as if he was a crab till he was near the edge of the roof he was currently on before he pushed up with his hands so he was standing upright once more before using his sensory to ping the area a little judging wither or not he could make it to the next roof.
'Don't you dare Matray!'
"Spoilsport..." he huffed moving back a little before he started running forward, he honestly didn't know if he would make it but like hell, he wasn't going to try.
If he didn't make it, it was going to hurt like a bitch but he would end up laughing like a clown after the shock settled before he tried again. It wasn't until he was in midair before he pinged everything again to see if he was on course and realised it was going to be close. After a few long seconds, his feet touched the edge and he almost lost his balance and fell backwards but he managed to balance himself and started to move forward his hands behind his head as he did so. He had now completely forgot that he had been spoken to previously as he walked down the rooftop as if he was walking on the ground below.

Malcolm laughed as before he could even talk to the kid, he darted off between the walls of buildings and bounding up to the rooftops. ”God damn bat kid…” He said as he was able to easily follow the kid with his eyes, so without much a care in the world Malcolm followed the kid, he jumped from a few close rooftops before making his way to a stopping point, a bigger jump lie ahead and it looked like he was weighing his options. After a moment of deliberation the kid went for the jump. ”Fucking crazy ass.” He would say before taking off, the blind kid slipped a little in the final takeoff, it was going to affect his trajectory, and Malcolm did not need this kind of death on his soul so he took off and dove for the next roof, reaching out to grab the kids hand. If he was successful he would sling him onto the next roof before coming to land himself.
”Hey Advent, stop for a fucking minute.” Malcolm commanded. He was not out of breath, but he was shocked that the damn kid tried to jump a very large gap in between buildings. ”I don’t give a fuck if you are some daredevil looking to get your rocks off to this kind of shit, but that would have been more than a few broken bones…Now try to remember me, we just had a short fight not too long ago… He asked again, this time just purely wondering if the kid is fucking insane at this point. If he tried to run again, then Malcolm would be forced to stop him and give him a good ol’ head grab and talk to him like a damn child.
Advent continued to walk down the roof he was on his hands clasped behind his head, he had completely forgotten about the magic knight exam and everything he had done within it and with whom. The thing was it was in his mind somewhere but his mind acted like a high-security safe that needed special keys to gain access to, unfortunately, the white-haired youth didn't have a key and so those memories would likely remain dormant for the rest of his life. He had no idea that he was being followed, well that was until he pinged the area and felt a strong pool of mana behind him, stopping for a moment he turned to face the mana source, from what he could tell it wasn't out to do him any harm so he paid it little mind as he turned and began to start walking once more towards wherever his feet were trying to take him.
It was on hearing the Malcolm's command Advent actually done something that was rather odd for him, he crouched down and was on the balls of his feet hugging his knees to his chest while touching his fingers together like he had been a scolded little boy. "Amin ume il- merna ruth- lle, amin naa ikotane" he whispered as if he was afraid he was about to get another telling off and didn't move from the position that he was in.
He listened to everything that Malcolm had to say blinking under his blindfold as he tried to translate it into a way he actually understood, that was quite difficult in all honesty. "What's a daredevil?" he finally asked with an innocent sincerity and he honestly had no idea what the hell the elder male was talking about.
He had now come to the next part about how it would have been more than a few broken bones and shook his head to it, he had jamp from higher placed with slightly longer spaces between and had made it at times. Of course, he had hurt himself but to him, it was all part of him learning and improving. "I would have had a sprained ankle and perhaps dislocated my arm, we're only two floors up after all. I've fallen from the top of an old white oak tree... that wasn't fun when it originally hurt but I kept doing it until I learned when it was right to jump and when it was bad foot placement." he said with a grin
"I broke limbs a few times then but one of my mothers are really good at healing so I was fine in no time." It honestly was as simple as that to him "In fact, she's the one who taught me how to heal. She said it was a really important skill for someone like me to know." he spoke affectionately about the woman he had called one of his mothers, it was clear by the undertone he missed her.
When it came to the fact the two had fought he finally stood back up and tilted his head to the right for a long moment remaining silent as if he was really trying to think on something. This was short-lived however when he burst out laughing and held his stomach. "Pull the other one, I felt your mana source... I wouldn't stand a chance against someone like you in a fight." he giggled finding the statement hilarious "I've got more chance of jumping off the big old white oak tree and not getting any injuries than surviving a fight with you, besides I don't have any attack magic, I'm a support mage." he said thinking back on what he had been taught that he could currently remember "Healing, sensing with hex and curses thrown in for good measure" he informed the other.
"So... umm... who are you?" he would eventually ask again, the worst thing was it was easy to tell he wasn't even putting it on, he honestly had no idea who Malcolm. "And why are we talking? because I honestly have no idea." he added on to the end as he was ready to turn away again and start walking once more.
Word Count: 704 Total Word Count: 2,521 Notes: Translation to "Amin ume il- merna ruth- lle, amin naa ikotane" is "I did not want to anger you, I am sorry" in Advent's native tongue even though it is unlikely Malcolm would know it.

Even when he was trying to be nice and make small talk the little blind shit decided to forget who he was. In all honesty it made Malcolm want to throw the kid into the river and just be done with it, but the remarks were kind of one sided anyway as Advent apologizing in his native tongue flew over the Black Bull captain’s head. With a sigh he finally just looked around for a moment to make sure this wasn’t just some fucking joke.
”Alright kid, I’m gonna tell ya’ one more damn time...next time I’m just going to have to throw you to the fish. My name is Malcolm, I’m a member of the Black Bulls Magic Knight squad. Now I know you like to take risks and just do stuff for the hell of it and that is great and all, but let’s have a chat about how you fit in this crazy world. You like food? Sure ya do, follow me…” Malcom would keep a hand on the boy’s head and leap from the building, once on the ground he would hold the boy up by his head and take him to a ramen vendor. ” hey Shayman, two regular bowls, extra meat.”. Malcolm would say as the cook quickly got to work. Malcolm would Sit Advent down and sigh. ”Alright kid, we’re getting Ramen, it might take a minute, but you ain’t leaving till I’m satisfied with our talk. So...you wanna know what a magic knight is?”. Malcolm asked as the cook handed the two some utensils and bowls of broth. He was still cooking the meat as they would wait there.
Advent was about to turn and walk off again when he heard a sigh and so tilted his head as if he was expecting more to come after that, he had no idea why the person sighing was doing so, so was curious as to why they had done it. For some odd reason that one action had captivated him enough that he was like a toddler on the edge of his seat in suspense and it showed on his face. It wasn't that long before the answer was seemingly revealed to the white-haired teen as the Black Bull captain yet again introduced himself to him "But this is the first time we've talked so how can it be last time you'll tell me this?" he asked his tone was sincere, he honestly had no idea what the other was talking about as to him this was the first time they had ever met. He smiled when he was told that he would be thrown in with the fish next time they had the conversation "Why wait? I've never come into contact with fish before, the stream running through my home never had any but I'm told there are many kinds and some are really scary or even dangerous so I should be very careful." he said his tone once again hyper as if he was a six-year-old being told he was going on vacation to the happiest place on earth, he knew he wouldn't be able to see them but that didn't diminish the experience for him any.
He didn't even bother to take in the others name or what he was a member of, he was far too excited hopping from one foot to the other like a toddler that needed to go to the bathroom really bad. That stopped though when he heard about him liking to take risks and he shook his head turning semi-serious at that moment "It isn't me taking risks or enjoying taking risks..." he said biting his lip a little before sighing "I can't see and so I have to figure out things differently than yourself or others that have that sense..." he closed his eyes under his blindfold and shook his head "For example, you can see the distance between this building and the next so can gauge on that if you can make it and how to go about doing it, for me, on the other hand, it's trial and error and I get hurt a lot learning what many take for granted and I can see why it comes off as me being a thrill seeker but it just isn't true I'm simply learning." he said it was clear that the others assumption on why he did what he did hurt the teenager but soon enough he was grinning once again "What was I saying? Oh! I remember it was about going to see fish!" he started to hop from one foot from the other again, it was almost like what he had said previously hadn't actually happened for the youth.
It was then he felt a rather large hand fall on his head and he stopped moving and stood still, he was surprised and had no idea what the hell was going on, he was about to scream bad touch when food was mentioned. He had to admit he couldn't remember when he last ate so having something would be good and maybe he could find out some information on who exactly he was talking to. Before he could say anything he found himself being pretty much made to jump off the building onto the street below and marched down the street all the while having Malcolm's hand on his head as if he was trying to make sure he didn't run off yet again. "I can walk by myself you know." he then paused for a second "um... who are you and why do you have your hand on my head?" he asked yet again sincere about the entire situation but it seemed he made to walk once more nonetheless until they had reached their destination of the captain's favourite ramen shop and made to sit down on a seat while the other made their orders.
"What's ramen?" he asked in return not sure what was ordered or if it was even edible but he was willing to try anything once "If you getting me one of those things I don't like eating meat that much so I'd prefer without it." he said calmly before covering his mouth and yawning, he was tired and had no idea why perhaps he had done more wandering than he had expected for as far as he knew he hadn't done anything overly stressful or that would have pushed his endurance. "A magic knight?" he finally got around to repeating "Never heard of them before are they important or something?" he was completely transparent in his questioning that got more than a few of the other patrons of the noodle shop to look at him in shock, he could feel their eyes but it didn't seem to phase him in the least. He just sat quietly waiting for an answer from the other not even realising that he had been given a bowl of noodles and broth with the utensils needed to eat it not that he could use them.

Malcolm knew that this kid had some screws loose, but he enjoyed him...the little bastard could really give the Black Bull a good laugh and on one hand he needed to show that he would be happy for new members of his squad if he could get this one to sit still for a moment...He also needed to make sure this little blind shit did not end up dead in a river or worse, though I guess the fact that he was still alive and in his early teens...he had to learn somehow. When he asked for no meat in the bowl he looked at the cook and the man simply smiled and nodded before the two continued on. Of course, the little airhead had forgotten about him already so he went on his earlier question.
"The Magic Knights are a force that exists in Clover to protect the weak and the downtrodden. We also act as expeditionary and police forces depending on the squad. The Black Bulls, my squad exists to take in those that are talented but outcast by society and the like. Everyone has a place, and in this world, everything is linked...just like you said before if you can even remember...trial and error. I run a squad of misfits that are trying their best and have good intentions even if they don't know how to go about doing such things. He sighs as the ramen arrives a short time later.
It's like this ramen, this shit can taste awful if you don't have a good cook, and will almost certainly have meat in it...unless like you said earlier when you didn't want any...the chef was so in tune with his craft and the want to feed your scrawny little ass that he made you veggie ramen...I know you can't see the man but he is eager for you to try it. So eat up, and I will tell you some cool shit about the knights.
The white-haired youth moved his head this way and that as if he was taking in the sights but this just wasn't the case, there were new sounds and smells that he had never experienced before to the best of his knowledge and so was trying to take it all in, to the best of his ability. He still couldn't remember who he was here with or why he seemed to have a vested interest in him, he was powerful he could tell that and with his own very limited strength and skills he knew for a fact, there was no way he would stand a chance against him in a fight. He wasn't too sure about outrunning him but he wasn't exactly sure he wanted to even attempt that given it might not end well for him at the end of the day. He wasn't trying to upset or anger the elder male it was just how he was and that should have been abundantly apparent by now. So far he had been open about any questions he had been asked while he hadn't been distracted, wandered off or remembered the conversation that had been going on at that time. He had already forgotten the conversation about the fish and was silent. His hands eventually going to the black blindfold he wore around his eyes as he seemingly fixed it to be more comfortable "Why are you giving me food?" he finally asked turning his attention towards Malcolm his tone showing he was unsure about the situation.
He turned his attention fully towards the other as he began to speak about the magic knights, it was true he'd end up forgetting everything without anything to trigger the memory of this actually happening but it was good to listen none the less. "So this kingdom is called Clover and magic knights act as guardians to the land while being a police force for those who break the laws." he said pretty much parroting things that he was being told in such a way that it made sense to him while showing he was at least trying to take the information in. "I remember trial and error, it's how I learn." he explained with a smile showing he remembered that part of a previous conversation. "A squad of misfits that try their best to do good?" he said ignoring the food for now as he tried to understand what the elder male was getting at, it wasn't that he was slow it was just something entirely new as he had only known the forest he was raised in until the day he left to claim his grimoire. "Everyone has quirks and odd in their own way, just some are better at hiding it than others." he said in a matter of fact way after a long moment of silence, it was as if he had recounted a piece of important information although it would almost be like what a child would be told by a parent when they were called out for being different than others.
He turned his head towards his food as the elder male spoke about how it could taste bad if the wrong person made it, but in the hands of someone skilled, it could taste good, furthermore that it can be changed and moulded to what is needed if given proper direction. He guessed that was the same for people but as he had only had came into contact with a handful of people his entire life he wasn't entirely sure if he was getting it all that right. "He added vegetables?" he asked in a confused tone turning back to the chef "Thank you very much for looking after my needs." he said with a happy go lucky grin, he moved his hand to the utensils. With some effort, he managed to hold them properly and attempted to eat the issue was the food for the most part kept falling back into the broth of the ramen. When the cook offered a fork he merely shook his head "I need to learn to adapt, it's hard now but it'll get easier." he said trying again and actually successfully managed to get some of the noodles into his mouth and ate without an issue "It's good!" he exclaimed before attempting to take another mouthful even though he was struggling he was getting slightly better each time he failed.

The cook and the captain of the Black Bulls listened and watched for a moment. It was clear that the kid did not know his way around the bowl or the chopsticks but nonetheless through trial and error...eventually the little shit started to pick up noodles and veggies. The cook was satisfied once he heard the words from bat-boy that it was good. Malcolm had in turn begun to eat as well. Taking in the words of the little kid he could tell that he did not know what to make of all this small talk. He eventually just continued to eat and was quiet for a time. Some things are better left to simmer in the head rather than to push it all at once. The mood was rather pleasant and Malcolm finished three bowls of ramen like it was nothing, looking over to see how Advent had done. He would then pay the tab for the food before taking a bottle of booze from inside the stall as the cook just nodded to him.
"So...Advent, I know you are not gonna remember much, hell you probably have forgotten all I have said earlier or my name, but it would be a waste to let you go about the world in just a trial and error state without proper instruction. So how about you come to stay at the Black Bulls base for a bit, there is plenty of wooded areas to get lost in and others that can help you learn...if you wanted. What do you say?" Malcolm finally asked the kid if he wanted to come to the Black Bulls. He grabbed a cigarette and waited for the reply.
The youth continued to eat with some difficulty but he was on occasion getting food into his mouth and was enjoying the taste when he did manage it. "We didn't have food like this where I was raised." he said happily drinking some of the broth before eating some of the noodles although it was a bit difficult still but he was getting better each attempt. He was thinking about trying to find a way to get this food back home but he didn't know if they would eat such food and even if they did then what would they have the ingredients and that was before knowing how to do it properly. It was a bit of a headache but he was sure that something could be figured out but for now, he didn't want to go back home as he had no idea if he would ever be allowed out of the forest again. He loved his home and his parents but at the same time, it didn't mean he wanted to go back into the bubble he was raised in now he had experienced the world outside it. Sure, he couldn't remember a lot of it but still, he knew he had experienced it but if he went back he knew there was a good chance he would forget and they would never allow him to remember. He had his grimoire but there was still a question of why it was so important and would they take it away from him, he'd rather not think on that as it would only frustrate him, well, at least until his train of thought changed which wouldn't be that long going by his track record of late.
"You have a really big appetite." he commented taking note of just how many bowls had been served to the guy that had been treating him to his meal, the bowl he himself had was a bit bigger of a meal than what he was use to so only got down halfway down the bowl before he stopped eating and turned his attention towards the other. "That magic knights are guardians of clover tasked with protecting those who can't protect themselves and even act as a police force when needed thought it also depends on the squad..." he said tilting his head to the right "Your squad takes in misfits who are skilled but wouldn't really fit in anywhere else. Did I remember that right?" he said with a smile, it was true he couldn't keep information for long but this had remained a bit longer because the food and scent now acted like a sort of a trigger for this particular memory. "Proper in instruction?" he seemed confused about those three small words and it came across in his tone, he had always been taught by his parents and remembered their rules well so he didn't understand what the other was really talking about in regards to his comment so needed for it to be explained a bit more for him. "Stay with the black bulls?" he wasn't completely sure about it and it showed in how he hesitated on the matter even biting on his bottom lip, he wished he could ask his parents for advice but they weren't there so he had to be a grown-up himself and make a decision he knew he wasn't really ready to make. "Mister guy, I'm not really sure you'd want someone like me, I'm not like most people even within your group." he said honestly it actually made him anxious to admit it but he knew it was the truth. He, however, did like the sound of being lost in the woods, he was homesick and always surrounded by many buildings, it was daunting for him because he wasn't use to it. "I'm homesick, I could stay in the forest if I agreed?" he asked it was almost as if a small child was asking and not a young teenager on this question.

"Yeah. This is more of a city thing if I am right, but the chef here...he is a forest dweller as well...the best ingredients can only be grown away from severe human intervention." He started as the blind, bat kid thought for a moment while eating. He finally spoke up about Malcolm eating a lot and then went over the words he spoke earlier about the Black Bulls, and even though he couldn't...or wouldn't remember Malcolm's name he said something that surprised him genuinely. The smile that spread on his face made him feel full of energy. He then put an arm around Advent and gave the little blind bastard a headlock type hug. "Of course I would want ya apart of the squad, and hell if you wanted to live on the rough ass roof I would let you if you agreed. Your space is your space, so what do you say Advent?" He waited for the answer as he had a big grin on his face.
Advent listened to the elder man as he hadn't thought about certain foods being meant for certain areas but then why would he have? He had spent his entire life within a forest eating the same foods as long as he could remember and where normally that wasn't overly wrong he did remember the things he was taught at home strangely without any need for triggers. He nodded when he spoke about the chef of the food he ate living in a forest himself growing and raising the ingredients needed away from the busy and condensed city life, he had to admit it made a lot of sense as they would get more love and attention that way. He had actually noticed that plants have done better when they were loved and cherished while in a quiet environment while plants that were in a noisy environment even if tended to the same way didn't seem the same. It was kind of sad in his honest opinion. "I can understand that and agree with the assessment." he said almost robotic as if he was speaking someone else's words as he answered. It was then he was caught by surprise as the taller elder man wrapped his arm around his head to give him a headlock type hug making the youth panic, the runes on his arm, chest and feet starting to glow instantly "Please let me go... something's not right and when I get this feeling I need to calm down." his voice seemed panicked almost.
When he was released he moved to sit on the ground his hands flat on it as he whispered something quietly to himself the runes losing their glow as he let out a sigh "Sorry, I get bad feelings when I get panicked and so need to get rid of them, I don't know why but my parents said nothing good comes of it." he said honesty but stood up dusting himself off before sitting back in his chair once more. He remembered the words spoken to him even when he was in a panic and look a long few minutes to think about it before nodding. "So longs I can stay in the forest I'll join the thinger mah jiggy thing." he said with a smile allowing himself to be led to the next chapter of his life by the man he was currently with.
