Athan was eating at a cafe, something he enjoyed doing much more than most people probably ever did his age. He was probably one of the few young kids that actually liked sitting down and drinking tea for extended periods of time, after all he was always so busy trying to find ways to grow stronger and stronger and look for things to fight with that would help him and his family grow and prosper. Of course, saving people at the same time was always a plus though he did wonder just how these people could get in so much trouble so many times. He was glad to finally take a break.
It had been rather hot outside, too much for the boys liking as he preferred the colder weather so he was enjoying some iced tea this time. Sat in a barstool at a high rise table made of fine wood. The cafe itself was full of people which drastically contradicted the rather quiet nature of the place, the nobles that sat about were chatting away mildly but made sure to follow the general atmosphere of the place and keep it quiet. But of course someone always had to ruin it, though the cafe was nice in itself with beautiful windows and carpets, and all of the other things Athan could care less about. Nothing took his eyes off of the man he noticed. Athan could tell the captain of his new squad from anywhere, he had made sure to burn that image into his head very quickly for the first chance he ever got to meet the man. The captain of the greeted magic knight squad, he was a hero of sorts.
Athan could barely contain his excitement, his inner child was clawing from the inside to come out, but Athan knew he couldn't simply act like a child around this man. Instead he sat there for a moment to make sure he didn't first embarrass himself by getting the wrong guy. No, he was confident. Jumping off of the bar stool from where his feet didn't even reach the floor the boy made his way over to knight before tapping him on the back, and speaking up. “Hello Captain! I am honored to finally meet you. I have only been in the squad a short time but I can't believe I already get to meet you.” The boy said, maybe a little too loud as it seemed the already quiet room went even more silent.
