Augustus would nod at the plan. Sure, his plan was sound. Well, as sound as it can be when taken on paper. Augustus’ magic was something akin to a legend, wherein only a handful of people have had it since the beginning of the ear of man. Dark magic was seen as fairly rare, especially since it only truly occurred when one received a Four Leaf Clover grimoire. And the Four Leaf Clover Grimoire was something that did not happen often, a once in a generation happenstance in recorded history. Augustus had been fairly surprised when he was a recipient of one. For the longest time, he had thought that his magic element was something akin to shadow, an element that was fairly common to the citizens of the Clover Kingdom, which was often seen in the lesser noble families of the Royal Capital. It was not something he had given too much thought about, and truthfully, he never really gave it much notice because he was never really trained for combat. His early childhood was filled with hours upon hours within the library, studying and honing his oratory skills. His magical training was always set to the side, always something that was done when there was spare time, and Augustus never truly had any spare time to properly train his magic and combat skills. His receiving of the Four Leaf Grimoire became the catalyst of his current training regiment, and he knew he was improving leaps and bounds, though only just. [break][break]
“You’re right, my magic is something that would be very much noticeable.” He would acquiesce. “I was actually hoping that the guards would take it as some form of shadow element magic.” Augustus smiled, “From when I was young, everyone thought that my element had something to do with the shadows, and it had been the common belief.” He would shrug, “It’s easily passable, especially under the moonless night, where the only source of light are the torches.” There was always a chance that they might be noticed, and his magical element be found out. But Augustus was not going to hedge his bets that these guards were smart. There was also the fact that Augustus was not known to be combat oriented. “My position as a Deacon makes it so that most of everyone would not believe any stories about myself being embroiled in an event like this.” Augustus chuckled then, “It’s almost laughable, truly. And my reputation within the Royal court has always been the orator, while it is my twin sister that is the combat oriented one of the two of us.” He had always endured the rumour that he himself was useless, and his magical element was something to scoff at. The Four Leaf Grimoire that he had was sometimes called a dud, useless in his hands. The Silva family loved playing that specific rumour up, and Augustus never rose up to challenge them. It was less about his honour and more about deception. They did not need to know that Augustus was slowly gaining strength, and it was better that way. [break][break]
“But your plan has merit.” Augustus nodded. He watched the young woman make herself a makeshift mask, something to hopefully cover her identity if they were caught. Augustus made sure to keep in mind his movements. He was a large man, tall and broad, barrel-chested and very much someone that would not be able to move with intimate grace. He would need to be more subtle, and less like a bulldozer. The lessons with Emilia, his mentor, would start to kick in then. Swordsmanship would come in handy, the footsteps he had learned would be well used with this specific situation. [break][break]
Augustus then extended his cloak, which was now draped over his armor, and was offered to the young woman. “I’ll move slowly, though I’m really the most speedy person. With the both of us attacking, the guards would not stand a chance, though we will need to move as a unit, a cohesive team.” He turned towards the bars that kept the outside world from the manor. They were regular iron wrought, but the strength that his armor gave him should be enough to bend the bars. He had tested it previously, the limits of the physical reinforcement aspect of his spell. So, without needing to be told twice, Augustus gripped both bars directly in front of him, and pulled them apart just enough to let them both through.[break][break]
Jumping into the space that was gaping, Augustus pointed towards the guards that were patrolling the grounds. There were four of them. "It seems that the night shift is not as attentive, nor are they as armed and as prepared.” He shook his head, “Being situated within the Noble Region has its perks of safety, so I suppose it’s understandable that they would think to not need as many guards to patrol at night.” Augustus then charged forward at a pace that was adequate for Bryn to follow quietly behind him, covered and hidden for the most part. [break][break]
With no voice used, making sure there was nothing identifiable for them to link him to this event, Augustus struck first. His fist was already cocked and shot through towards one of the unsuspecting guards that had his back to them. One hit directly to his back had knocked him out without even a peep, but the commotion did not go unnoticed. There was a reason why these people were chosen as guards, after all.[break][break]
“Careful, they’re coming now. Three in total.” Augustus whispered. The three charged at them, and Augustus could only dodge the first one as he tried to swipe at him. Blocking the second punch that was thrown at him, before countering with a sucker punch that knocked the wind out of the man, dropping him like another sack of potatoes. The other two hand tried to attack while Augustus was in motion, but he was sure that Bryn had it all covered from behind him. Her magic was magnificent, and it made for a great show. Not only was she very much trained in combat, her magic also was beautiful to look at, though he would spare the compliments until later on.

"Don't hold back on my behalf. You might be a tad surprised how well I can handle myself." Bryn teased Augustus for his earnest comment. "Though I'm sure the guards will botch up the two elements, but stick me with a knife why don'tcha? Just looking out for you yah big jerk. I'll keep my concerns to myself next time."
Her jab at Augustus's assessment had a tinge of sarcasm, noting that his movements were staggering a bit. The added speed her aura provided gave the pugilist extra padding to deal with the flow he moved with. An experience she was not used to, as she largely preferred to be the aggressor. It was sort of humbling in a way when the point of their plan was to keep conflicts on the down low. This meant swallowing the urges to overextend and take out these peons; trusting the good deacon to his wiles. She made an audible scoff towards Augustus. For someone who really painted himself as an inexperienced combatant, the big male quickly disposed of multiple enemies with relative ease. Took Bryn a while to get used to that level of combat, but perhaps this was the power of someone who had the talent to draw a Platinum grimoire. A bit choppy and straightforward--like one who received and excelled in personal training. Still, Bryn acknowledged good work when it was due.
Some guards approached his rear as he took on the noted three. A very cliche backstab attempt, coming within arm's reach to get at Augustus. Bryn, having followed the ebb and flow of Augustus's exaggerated cape, bent forward and did a small leap when the piece of fabric rose up to the man's hook. Momentarily, they gaze at a masked individual hidden behind the armored entity assaulting their comrades. A look of horror raised up, wondering if this was some sort of sorcery their assailant had prepared. All the same, their guard dropped and allowed the girl do execute a mid-level drop kick. The impact punted the gas out of their charge, staggering the two guards long enough for Bryn's follow up. One of them came immediately to a guard, as a ghastly foot smashed into their face at the same time Bryn's drop kick connected. That guard laid sprawled out on the ground with a bloody nose. Bryn made sure it was nothing fiercer than a punch to the face. Every man ought to be able to take at least one of these after all!
The other guard coughed and looked up. He found himself knocked to the ground just as fast, as a sphere of mana splattered on his face. The source was a kneeling Bryn, who had braced the impact with her tucked in arms. The woman huffed and spat towards the defeated guards, mentally rating their assault a three out of ten. Truly wondering just how much they got paid to be this incompetent.
"What's going on here with all the racket?" said a deep voice, belonging to the ringleader of the guards. His grimoire was drawn and releasing a trail of water surrounding his figure, as he was escorted by two more guards. Realizing what was going on with the defeated henchmen scattered across the lawn, the guardsmen could visibly be seen growing a darker shade of red with everybody he noticed defeated. Pride would dictate that he take down the aggressor here and now, but he turned face to retreat back to bark an order at the other guards. Those two turn tailed and began sprinting off to the right. THeir leader stood their ground and seemingly began to chant something to get his water squirming about. Bryn, who had been peeking around Augustus's side under his cloak this entire time, recognized the act.
"Psst! He's going to sound the alarm! We gotta stop them! If you take care of the big guy, I can chase down the peons and bury them....gently of course!"

Augustus would turn his attention back towards Bryn, and shake his head. “Your plan works best, to be fair. It’s more perceptive, and definitely takes into account all possible situations that might arise.” There was always the chance that Augustus would be recognized by one of the guards. After all, the Noble Region was smaller than most people think. Augustus might have ran into one or two of these guards previously at an event, and they might just be jolted by a memory of the young Ravencrest politician. He would not put it past Fate to screw him over like that, and truth be told, it was always better to be safe than sorry. While his face was masked by the armor itself, Bryn’s magic would give them the necessary cover, and even a sort of distraction and misdirection for the guards to not be able to pin down Augustus as the culprit. While his magic was very similar to shadow, he was sure that someone able to distinguish mana elements might be able to figure it out sooner or later. Augustus supposed he should be very thankful by the fact that they were doing this at night for maximum cover, and that he was not doing it alone. He just hoped that it would all be worth it at the end of the day. The effort they both had put into this specific job was just a tad bit too much. All for the name of love, he supposed. [break][break]
As they finished their current quarry, Augustus noted a new group. Bryn would surmise from their actions that two of them were going to go back inside and sound the alarm. From what Augustus knew, the alarm would most likely alert the reserve guards, those who were not within the vicinity, but were generally speaking on call for any such emergencies. That would be quite the problem, since Augustus knew that back up can number from ten to a hundred, depending on how much the family had invested in their own guards. He would curse then, before turning towards Bryn and nodding, “You should go and stop them. I will deal with the leader. They should not be expecting you, so hopefully you can get a jump on them as they go for the alarm.” He shook his head, turning his attention back towards the leader of the guards, who seemed to be almost done with whatever spell they were just about to cast. “You might want to do it soon. The lead guard seems to be distracted at the moment. They will probably not even notice you slip past them if I make enough of a commotion and lead his gaze on me.” It was a gamble, but Augustus knew it just might work. “The shadows of the night should also help you out, especially with the black dress.” He then gave a shadow of a smirk, “It seems that I chose well. You look beautiful, and it serves as a deadly arsenal.” It was said softly, though the woman might have heard. [break][break]
Without pause, however, Augustus struck. His cape billowing behind him, he quickly rushed towards the leader of the guards who was just about done with his spell. It seems as though it was a signature spell of his, and something he needed to charge. Augustus had heard of spells like these before, and he was told that they hurt more than the average spell that was within the same rank. He would not be caught by it, at least, not intentionally. Augustus just hoped that the man was distracted enough by his loud footsteps, and his wide and intimidating frame. It should have given Bryn enough opportunity to slip past. [break][break]
He would stop himself from uttering his spells out loud, for fear that his voice might be recognized. Augustus even banked on the fact that it was dark outside, which hopefully would obscure the full view of his armor spell from the guards he had taken out, and the current one he was engaged with. The shadows cast the manor and the surrounding vegetation should be enough to obscure Augustus’ full visage, so that he would not be identified later on if he ever used the same armor spell in front of the same guards. [break][break]
Grunting, Augustus pushed himself down low to avoid the water whip that was sent towards him. It was an effort because of his height, but he managed enough. He dropped to a roll, before using it as a springboard to leap towards the leader of the guards with a fist cocked and ready to catch the man in the jaw. What Augustus had not been prepared for was the fact that the man was dodged quickly enough. [break][break]
“You think I’m in the same league as the ones you knocked out, huh? You’ll need to do better than that if you want to hurt me, laddie!” [break][break]
A second water whip was sent towards Augustus, and this one he was unable to dodge, taking the hit on his chestplate. His armor would take the hit, but would not dissipate. Instead, it showed a scratch on where the attack had connected. However, Augustus knew better to worry. His armor would soon repair itself. For now, he needed to outsmart this man and take him out as soon as possible.

Getting the OK from her partner in crime, Bryn decided to spice up the theatrics by channeling her aura to condense. This really just meant she focused on emitting more of her energy about her body. Effect wise, she doubt spells could just perform instantly better by pumping more energy in without an expressed purpose. At least, her principle spell didn't operate that way. Outwardly however, it would have appeared the cloak of Augustus's knightly form began to emit a sinister red light.
The leader stood on guard as Augustus moved in to attack. As he did, Bryn's form shot forth like a cloud of fury. Her form generally covered with a mixture of the mantle and hazy red glow. The leader tried to call out to his runners about the spell his opponent seemingly launched in pursuit, but Augustus's prowess proved that all of the guard's leader's attention needed to be front and center. This left Bryn to pursue the two as if she were nothing more than a sort of golem. Playing to the act, no fancy displays or acrobatics until she could be sure that only the targets were the witnesses. Her running style was fairly static, charging with her torso lowered and arms dangling backwards. One of the guards looked back to see what was in pursuit and yelped at the sight of a red eyed cloud of mystery in hot pursuit.
Out of some stroke of courage, the man turned about and yelled at the other to keep running towards the warning bell. Bryn raised an eyebrow underneath her wrappings, noticing that this fellow drew out his grimoire and launched some sort of basic elemental spell. A bullet type, three total in a spread fashion. She fancied just overpowering the magic with her Shoony bullet, but decided it was best to conserve energy for the take downs. Eyeing out the spread of the magical bullets, the cone had a longer edge towards the bottom. Each staggered slightly, with her guess on the targets being the head, right shoulder and left knee. Waiting until the spell was about two and a half arm's length away, Bryn then cut with her left leg forward and shifted her body to the side. Each bullet harmlessly passed her by as she then turned mid air to land on her feet with little momentum lost.
The guard was awe-struck at what he just saw, as Bryn's arm extended out and grabbed the poor man by his face. Returning to the low profile, Bryn slammed the guard onto the ground and dragged him in pursuit. This slowed her progress considerably, but the effects were meant to be temporary. Taking aim with her human pillow, she gripped tightly as her form spun about twice. Just before realigning with the other guard, Bryn launched the human hammer and watched that guard flail until crashing right on top of the other. The double dose of physical abuse had knocked out one of them, while leaving the other struggling to lift up an unconscious body to signal for reinforcements. Bryn thrusted her fist and shot a single aura sphere at the back of the soldier's neck. It soared quickly and smashed into his head, sending it downward to double tap the ground. Both guards laid sprawled out in defeat and Bryn could take a small breather. She approached their bodies and decided to drag them a bit closer to the pathway's sides. The layout chosen was befitting someone who fell asleep on the job, of which there was a nice garden gazebo to serve that purpose. With a heave and a ho, the unconscious guards were placed sitting in the gazebo with their heads tucked down.
'It must look so scary for a red blur to be manhandling two limp bodies. Good thing nobles haven't the care in the world to be light sleepers at..' Bryn thought, interrupted by the sounds of windows opening.
Turning in surprise, she caught a look at the young noble lady from earlier who gave the first letter. She had started by checking the corner of the garden, where some sounds of conflict could vaguely be heard in the silence of night. By the time her eyes came towards Bryn's direction, the pugilist had already made her way to the 1st floor window and placed a hand on the noble lady's mouth. A look of terror that began to spread rapidly in the lady's eyes caused Bryn to disable her aura spell momentarily. She hushed the panicked lady, using her free hand to tug at the wrappings slightly. Seeing Bryn's face and realizing who she was caused the panicked girl to relax and eagerly ask for the results of her delivery. Bryn quickly disclosed that they met her prince charming and had a letter for her too. The noble lady squealed and would have soon asked that another be delivered had the ravenette not immediately declined. Explaining the situation of their escape to deliver the nobleman's letter, it would be impossible to send another this evening. In fact, she stressed that her circumstance led to an ongoing conflict with her family's guard captain. The lady and Bryn exchanged a few more words, some choice and some about the love, but the night of delivering romance would come to a conclusion. She needed to return to Augustus and see if the man required any assistance before they escaped. The young lady nodded in understanding and thanked her for braving such an ordeal over a squabble her family deemed irrelevant. Bryn waved it off and left en route towards the courtyard.
Thankfully it wasn't too far away and she would gauge on the progress Augustus was at. She had taken point thus far and rather enjoyed seeing where his skills would develop the predicament. Hopefully it would be quick, as she had loads to tell him about their client. As well as confirm that there would be no more letters this evening, at least not delivered by the two of them!

Augustus was deeply concentrated on the fight. How could he not. The man was a captain of the guard, which meant that while his magic might not be overwhelmingly powerful, he was skilled in using his spells. Sometimes a man’s power should not be measured by the strength of their spells, but rather by their techniques and how they utilized their own spells, no matter how weak their spells are supposedly. He had heard of tales of past Magic Knights utilizing low powered spells, but were devastating in the battle field. It was always a combination of skill and talent, with one needing the other. Augustus himself knew that the man he was facing must have a semblance of both, because of his reaction time, and the way the man utilized his magic in combat. Caution was going to be his friend at this point, and he needed to make sure that he made little to no mistakes. He knew that the man would most likely capitalize on any little mistake that he might make. [break][break]
He clenched his jaws, taking a small amount of time reading the man’s small movements. They were both at an impasse at the moment. Both the head guard, and Augustus, were not willing to make the first move. There was weakness in making any movement at the moment, especially with each of them keen on analyzing the other. Emilia’s training kicked in for Augustus, and he paid attention to the man’s stance. The Crimson Lions Magic Knight had been his mentor for almost a month now, and everything he knew about combat was from the woman’s own teachings. Of course, he could not remember all of it well, especially in the heat of combat, but some of them had been beaten into him, quite literally during their one on one combat sessions. While the woman was a task master, she also knew what she was doing. Every single strike that Emilia had hit Augustus was a learning point for him. He was, at the very least, proud of the fact that he had improved so much under her tutelage, and it would manifest now as he leaned to one side, getting ready for the guard captain to make his move.[break][break]
It was almost mechanical, but Augustus took it into stride. He made a feint to the left, his leaning had caused the guard captain to think that he was making his way toward the left side of the manor, where shrubberies can be seen and used as a hiding place. Tall and thorny, if used properly, Augustus can disappear into the books and crannies of the hedge maze, the vast amount of shrubs and bushes would make it ideal for him. But that was not the case. It was a ruse, something that the guard captain fell for as he leaned towards the feinted location.[break][break]
Augustus used the strength he had gained from the armor spell to lunged towards the right. He would try to catch the guard captain off guard. The trick was to move faster, if he could, and hopefully the guard captain could not capitalize on his movement to send attacks at him. Though he might not be fast, the extra strength that was augmenting his own physical prowess should be enough to at least give him an edge. He could feel the muscles on his thighs and legs burning just a little at the exerted effort he put upon them, unused to this kind of limit pushing. But he swept aside his pains in order to concentrate on the matter at hand. He was closer now, and the guard captain had finally realized his mistake, and pivoted back towards Augustus. They both knew that the guard captain had the upper hand, since Augustus was the one making his way towards the man, and the guyard captain would capitalize on this fact. [break][break]
A water whip was lashed out towards Augustus, and he had to dodge, lowering his body to let the spell fly above him. It took great effort to continue his charge, but he made sure to continue. The weight of his back made his muscle scream, but he forced it away as he continued his charge. The guard captain was similarly trying to stop Augustus, unmoving as he knew that moving away could mean that it would give Augustus access to the manor. One of the main doors was behind the man after all, and Augustus assumed that it was the entrance to the foyer of the manor itself. [break][break]
“Yer not gettin’ past me, laddie!”[break][break]
The guard captain sent another whip, this time aimed at the lower extremities of the man. Augustus would see it coming, and curse to himself. Instead of trying to dodge, Augustus instead jumped, using the strength that he had garnered from the armor spell to propel himself forward, this time catching the guard captain by surprise.[break][break]
The water whip forgotten, the guard captain tried to raise his hands to defend himself. Augustus would hit the crossed arms of the guard captain, before pivoting towards the left, keeping in tempo of combat as he tried to catch the man’s side instead. Augustus sent a kick, but it too was block as the guard captain used his grimoire to cast a water whip. In retaliation, the guard captain grunted and sent the water whip as a close ranged attack, hoping to cause Augustus to fall back and give him some wiggle room to be able to catch a breather. Augustus would have none of it. [break][break] “Shadow punch.” Augustus would say, barely above a whisper so that his voice would be unrecognizable. He did not have a spell named as such, but it was his way of trying to avoid suspicion. Hopefully the guard captain would think he was a shadow element user. [break][break]
Without pause, Augustus punched through the spell. It seems that the guard captain had used a weaker version of the water whip, most likely a mistake as the guard captain was scrambling to fight Augustus at melee range. His second punch hit the man squarely in the face, knocking the man back with the force, before slumping down, unconscious.[break][break]
Augustus gave a huff, his breath was just a bit short after that rigorous battle. His fist hurt just a little, feeling the sting of the water whip hitting his fist when he had punched through it. While the spell was weaker, it still left a mark on his armor, and the blunt for damage had reverberated through it. There was no damage to him, but that did not mean he did not feel the after effects. [break][break]
He would look towards the source of oncoming footsteps, before smiling to himself. While his armor covered his face, the sagging of his shoulders was a sign of his relief to see Bryn, instead of reinforcements. Augustus would wave at the woman, before giving her a thumbs up.[break][break]
“I’m guessing you were able to relieve the guards of their consciousness?” He said in a gruff voice, caused by his shortness of breath after fighting the guard captain toe to toe. “We should leave, hey?”

"Nice work ser. You'd be happy to know that the second letter has been delivered successfully and negotiations to prevent any more letters went good. We're off duty once we clear the grounds." she happily reported in a soft voice.
Mysterious assaults by a dark armored entity with a red, hazy golem in tow coupled with a night raid on a courtesan grading was news for any ear willing to listen. What may have played into the duo's hands this night was the level of pride the families had in regards to their reputation. While not unheard of, hiring courtesans for promiscuous activities at unseemly hours in the evening paints a certain image for a family when asking for favors. Especially when projecting favor for a squad with prestige to its name. Silver Eagle's captain was famed to be a man of integrity and decency, at least to Bryn's knowledge that was the case. Given how important one's image and persona was to nobles throughout the kingdom, she now had to place the faith that losing face and possible weight with their peers was enough to stir the pot to a calming silence. Especially if the motive were to be found out: over denying a simple love letter.
Bryn was not a court lady and had no desire to become one. Still, her mother had spoken on occasion about what went on as she was assigned to escort missions. Rumors and talk about how important it was to maintain face. Building up credibility and a reputation behind one's name was equally as powerful as a four leaf grimoire. This was how politicians in the court remained relevant. How an honest king could be driven to become a monster by the people. So how it played out in her mind, if word got out as to why the intruders were actually present rather than the narrative of stealing riches from either family, the matter of inter-familial discipline could be the first thing to many minds. How could a court noble be expected to uphold their side of the bargain of anything, their word bear any truth, if their own kin would not respect their wishes? As harmless of an act it could be to the commoner, the fact of the matter was that a single member of the Church and a no-name civilian under guise undermined two noble families in a single night. It was a dose of shame that would pull the color of any seasoned seat into the grayscale.
For the young Halcyon though, the event was fun. Rules were a construct of society that differed ever so slightly per the circle one lived in. She whispered to Augustus while fleeing that they ought to meet up a few days later, to properly introduce oneself as more than acquaintances and less conspicuous as a band of thieves. He seemed like a decent enough fellow, if a bit green to the handiwork necessary to move the gears within the clocktower. Getting to do so tonight may have carried the high of the mission, but Bryn had a good hunch the pursuers of the gentleman's family were still patrolling the streets; questioning any and every who walked the night at this hour. Unlike Augustus's position in the Church, Bryn had nothing more than her looks and wiles to convince a curious bystander. With the nature of how chatty this city could be, she rather not chance it. They could have a yee old time laughing how pointless the excursion was in the grand scheme of things over a meal. She'd offer him that chance.
"Here's my stop partner. I'll try and find you in a day or so." Bryn teased while cutting left into a street that opened up slightly. "Perhaps under better circumstances. Even though I totally think you rocked that dress!"
Bryn channeled some of her mana into her feet and used it to propel herself off some of the walls to gain access to the roof. There was no way she could use the grounded roads to get back to her room at this time. Pending unfortunate encounters, the garbed pugilist sprang from rooftops back to her room to retire for the evening. It was a worthy mission, albeit not one she was looking to do again any time soon.
Augustus would nod, his face behind the armored helmet turned into a small smile. He was tempted to let his spell go, yet he knew that even here inside the manor, where knocked out guards were all around, they were still unsafe. The fact of the matter was that the family, by now, would have noticed that something was amiss. Their guards would have been a staple presence in the background of their home. Augustus knew this to be a fact, something that he himself was used to when he stayed in the Ravencrest Estate within the Royal Capital. So the chances of getting caught now was higher than before, and Augustus welcomed the chance to finally leave the place.[break][break]
“That’s good to hear,” He would reply barely above a whisper, “I also made sure to throw away the scent from me.” Augustus would shake her head, “They would believe me to be a shadow user now. Just making sure to cover all holes, hey?”[break][break]
There was a silence as Augustus and Bryn made their way out. First and foremost, they still needed to be silent. But the lack of sound was very eerie. At every step, Augustus would turn slightly to make sure that they were not followed. There was also the fact that he was scanning the background, making sure that there were no stray witnesses. While his armor can be a tell, it was also very dark outside, and nobody would have been able to fully identify himself as one of the culprits. [break][break]
Augustus’ mind strayed towards the plight of the two lovers they had helped. They had been souls, condemned to never be able to do what they wanted in life. Of course, the young nobleman was at a much better place. He had more say in the matter, and was most likely being held back by his loyalty to his family. The noblewoman was less powerful, and most likely held back by her mother more than anything. Augustus knew a thing or two about domineering mothers. Their own had not been the nicest, and he had seen the way his aunts had controlled his own cousins. He vowed to himself that when it was time for him to be a father to his own children, the next generation of Ravencrests, that he would be more lenient. Children need time for themselves, to be a child, to be free, and to experience things without a constant burden on their shoulder. The topic hit closer to home that Augustus thought it would, and his face was marred with a frown now.[break][break]
It was then that Bryn had spoken up. Looking around, they were at an inconspicuous part of the Town of Silva, hidden from the main street, and definitely not in full view of any of the houses. He would nod then, letting the armor spell go now, dissipating into the wind as he was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief. The fresh air was welcome, with the helmet of the armor not being the most breathable.[break][break]
“I suppose so. Let’s hope that the two love birds find a way to be together, hm?” He would smile at the woman, before looking towards the direction where he was set to go. It was still dark, and he still had time to slip away. “Until next time. And no, you’re the one who looked beautiful in your dress.” Augustus gave her his signature smile, before turning away into the dark.
