Faust appeared completely different than how he usually did. His signature black feather boa as well as his Golden Dawn robe could be found on a low lying sakura tree, hung neatly on one of its lower branches. With his boa out of the way, one could clearly see his whole face, showing the lower portions of his face which were usually hidden by his feathery accessory revealing his oddly charming, yet oddly gloomy features. The Golden Dawn knight stood there aimlessly at the time, just as deadpan as he always were albeit a bit more lax than usual.
He found himself staring at the impossibly clear water of Sivert Lake, taking a long gander at the sky's reflection at the water's surface. It was captivating to say the least. Despite the cherry blossom trees starting to lose some of its flowers as summer had already begun, the whole area was still a sight to behold. Mostly undisturbed, the Sivert Lake remained in its tranquil state. Not many had knowledge, nor reason, to go to such place, hence it became one of his few escapades to both meditate and simply relax. If heaven were real, then it would have most definitely looked like it.
While he planned on going for a dip in the lake a bit later on, at the time being, Faust did a few stretches to ease up his muscles and relieve himself off of some stress. It had been a long day and had done a few jobs here and there as part of his job as a Magic Knight, saving cats, gathering wood—things juniors like him are mostly tasked with. Regardless of how irrelevant these missions were, it was still as tiring—perhaps due to the fact that adrenaline wasn't pushing him to perform such mundane work.
The knight took a deep breath in before exhaling heavily only seconds after, freeing his mind off of anything that plagues it. A few more breaths later and he then took off his tunic, exposing his well chiseled torso which he maintained with rigorous Magic Knight training. After spacing out for a few more seconds, he finally hung his black tunic together with his feathered boa and Magic Knight coat on the same low lying sakura tree nearby. Now with nothing but his trousers on he was ready for his swim, though before that, the young knight continued with his stretches for a bit more.

Elliot was one of the few that had not heard stories of Silvert Lake as she was growing up. Either because of her being busy with working or because she had been busy taking care of her sick father and sister was the reason behind that. During her recent travels she had caught wind of it, and wanting to check it out for herself she had gone there with the intentions of swimming. Anyone would want to swim there, knowing about a beautiful area covered in cherry blossoms in the spring and always pristine waters.
Being prepared, and ever looking the part of a effeminate male, Elly had gone to the springs in normal men's clothing that covered up feminine features. Upon arriving to the desired spot, which already had one shirtless man near a sakura tree doing some exercises, Elliot would remove her clothing to reveal a black, loose fitting, undershirt and a pair of shorts that she had brought for swimming. The binder she wore would keep anyone from noticing any eternal features that might have given her away as not being the guy she portrayed herself as and the shirt was easy to pass of with a comment of being more conscious about their own body for reasons other than the true ones. The girl would do a few light stretches before entering the water, simply stepping in and relaxing near the tree she had placed her clothing. Whether others talked to her or not was up to them, she just wanted to relax and enjoy the nice day.
Another individual came in, sharing what the Lake had to offer with this man, or boy rather as it seemed as though he rather young judging from his more effeminate build and features. Regardless, he welcomed his company with a bow of his head, showing him that he's acknowledge by Faust. As the other individual took their dip, the young knight had decided to do just the same and gave his stretching a rest. He slipped off of his loafers and dipped his feet in, submerging himself, water reaching just above his stomach as he had finally settled and sat in the lake.
He scooped up a bit of the lake's incredibly clear water with both palms, splashing it against his face to freshen him up. After a few more splashes to his face and upper torso, he then ran his fingers through his locks, brushing back his hair whilst making it mildly wet from his soaked hands, allowing it to shimmer as light shone upon it. Taking a bath at Sivert Lake truly felt more refreshing than that of usual.
He's unsure whether it had something to do with it's serene, peaceful atmosphere and naturally beautiful environment, or if it actually had any magical refreshing properties on top of it. He had shut his eyes for a few moments, allowing himself to take in the fresh air whilst clearing his mind. Seconds after, he'd remember that he actually had company unlike being his usual lonesome self whenever he previously frequented the lake.
He turned his attention towards the other individual who had settled only a few feet a way from him. He seemed rather frail upon first glance, yet he had a rather serene look to him. "A- A pleasant morning..." Albeit having second thoughts as to whether he should initiate a conversation or not, he managed to utter, thinking it would have been rude to dismiss the other person's presence. He then cleared his throat before trailing off. So far, he's been learning a lot on how to properly socialize, having built up much more courage towards social situations than what he had before. Yet still, his habit of being too formal persisted. "You too are fond of this place, I assume?" He asked, hoping to keep their small conversation up.
"Anyhow, you could call by my name, Faust, should you wish." He added before splashing more water up against his face. He inched a tad bit to his left towards the other man to achieve a more comfortable position for himself, allowing his back to rest against the lake's buffer.

The other guy would get into the water shortly after she had. While Elle would just rest there, leaning back and allowing her body to simply float and sink in the water with relaxing breaths, the other guy would seem to wash himself for a bit before trying to start what seemed to be a bit of conversation with her. The other guy could have just ignored her, done whatever else he wanted, and she would not have cared at all. Being left to herself was just as good as casual conversation right now in a place meant for relaxation. Figuring it would be rude to not participate in shared speech, Elliot would speak in her practiced male voice so that she could keep up her charade as being one of the guys for as long as she could keep it. If it lasted her entire life she would be perfectly fine.
"It really is. I heard about this place while travelling and figured I'd try a day of relaxing here. I guess you could say I'm becoming fond of it, as it's a pretty good place to unwind after work and travel." The other man would give his name, and it was times like this that she was happy about being given a gender neutral name at birth. It meant she could honestly use her own, full, name given to her without lying about a single syllable. "A pleasure to meet you, Faust, you can call me Elliot, or Eli for short. I guess you come here often?" She would end it wish a question, given he asked if she was also fond she figured he might have been here quite a few times before now.
A deep breath would cause her to raise nearly to the top of the water before she slowly released it all back out. It was almost nice enough to nap, if not for the chance of drowning, so she would have to keep that in mind as she relaxed here today. She would rather not be forced into an awkward medical situation if she could help it.
The other followed through with his introduction, giving Faust his name just as he did. As Elliot introduced himself, Faust gave him a gentle nod out of courtesy. "It is also my pleasure, Elli." He replied
"It is true, I do frequent this place." He trailed off, yawning as he did. He found himself with his gaze lost at the blue water's reflection, watching as the clear reflection of clouds from above passed them by. "More so before I became one of the knights." He added. He turned his attention towards the nearby tree on which he hung his clothing, giving his Magic Knight coat a swift gander, watching as it waved along with the gentle breeze the blew past them.
He's a lot more busy ever since, taking jobs left and right, losing time for himself other than during his off days where he could do as he wish. He gave it much thought, lost in his own mind as he reminisced his past. "I came here often when I was younger. I enjoyed isolation and the peace of mind it gave me. They didn't seem to mind, but not that I ever complained, hence I barely got interaction with others even with my own family-" He trailed off yet again. What was he doing, sharing something so personal? Yet it all came out naturally, after all, he seemed like someone he could entrust with such things.
It was true, his family, particularly his parents, never batted an eye nor ever did care to check on him. All changed when the fated day he got his four leaf clover grimoire came, as all of a sudden he got the spotlight, pampered and cared of, all after taking the spot of his oldest sister as the most powerful mage in their household
"...And quite so indeed, I find it to be perfect place to rest." He finally spoke again, turning his attention back towards his company, hoping he didn't kill the mood entirely after his slip up.

In his answer, Faust would give away that he was a magic knight. "Being a magic knight has its perks, but it must suck to be missing out on more visits here because of it. I'm not sure I'd take that trade off right now." She would give a cocky smile, a tease at the onther man based on freedom. Many of the boys in her hometown and places she had visited had done similar teases to each other based on work and fun.
Faust would continue on with his train of through, talking about how he came here when he was younger for the isolation and pace of mind. It made sense, even if it did cause him to interact with family less. Mental health was usually more important than dealing with others. Of course, she didn't think long on that one. Her own mental health was pretty bad and all she was really doing was suppressing and avoiding it at all costs. She had changed her appearance, even her own way of acting and speaking, to be a guy over past events. There was nothing healthy about that, not one bit.
The man in the water with her would finish speak again after trailing off into his own thoughts, mentioning again his liking of this place as a good place for rest and relaxation. "Indeed it is. Do you see many others out here often? Or am I an oddity for this? Surely others frequent this place and I just came at the wrong time to miss most of those people." It would have been nice to see some pretty girls around here. It would be nice to flirt a bit all while swimming and relaxing.
He sunk half of his head underneath the water, just below his nose, as his company went to speak of their share. With his inquiry, Faust wearily raised his body and sat up straight, once more resting his back against the lake's very buffer.
A sigh escaped his lips following his weary smile. Being one of the kingdom's many Magic Knights truly had its perks, though it is true that he's missing out a lot of free time for himself. However, that's not to say that he didn't like what he was doing with his job. Despite being treated mostly as an errand boy by his seniors, Faust took his tasks at heart, making sure to excel with whatever he was made to do even if most weren't official business at all. "I do value my own freedom, though becoming one of the knights sure is an honor that I'm willing to trade much of it for." He said, answering Elliot's remarks.
"Not right now, you say?" He inquired. "It seems as though you're open for the possibility then."
Perhaps he was pertaining to join the ranks, perhaps to do something else entirely, there's also the possibility that it was simply a figure of speech—but Faust was too dense to think otherwise, he simply assumed of what the other meant, that is following him and his decision to give up freedom for his job as a knight, and went with it.
"Not many would come here." He answered. "Often I would be here alone, at times one or two would join me. After all, part of what makes this place serene is the fact that it's barely disturbed, which I'm both glad and sorry for, truly..." He sighed yet again as he took a quick gander around the area. "I'm glad—glad that it's kept this way, however sad that not many has knowledge of it's beauty." He continued his thought with his gaze still having a gander around the lake and it's surroundings, allowing himself to be fully immersed by its heavenly atmosphere.
"It feels safe here, does it not?" He added as he sank the lower half of his face yet again back underneath Sivert Lake's crystal clear waters. However, remembering something, he swiftly raised his head from being submerged only moments after. "Ah, That reminds me. I've heard that the citizens of Haphass has their safety in jeopardy at the moment with sightings of a large bear near their town. You seem like a respectable man yourself, would you like to accompany me to be of aid to these people?" Sure, he could have asked fellow knights of his to join him with taking care of such things, however it was far from official business—more like a rumor than anything else. Besides, not that his seniors would agree to join him for something so trivial, nor did he want to bother any of his fellow junior knight. After all it would've been nice to have someone else other than his colleagues to take care of things every now and then.

Faust would answer Elle's question, admitting that while he enjoyed his freedom he was willing to trade much for it by becoming a knight. He would question Elliot Woodcock's phrasing about being a Magic Knight. That was fair, as it was exactly what she had meant. "Yeah, I don't feel I'm strong enough just yet. I want to do more, prove more, and learn more about life and the world before I settle for a group. Ya know?" She would sink herself into the water, letting her hair get soaked before she came back up out of the water.
It was a shame that others didn't really come by this place, she did like her eye candy after all. "A shame, for both. I'm glad it's so peaceful, but it's also almost lonely as well. It feels safe, but some might not feel that way being out here with no one else around." Other places in the world were not so peaceful, and knowing that it was hard to trust a place like this. It almost felt like a trap, like there was secretly some kind of monster or beast hiding behind what was a perfect illusion to draw in unsuspecting people. It brought a shiver down her spine, thinking about it, and made her glad she was dressed and actling like a guy rather than the girl she really was. Imagine being here alone and another showing up that wasn't as laid back as Faust seemed to be right now. If they were stronger than her they could get away with whatever they wanted and no one would be there to help. The thought soon passed, due to Faust speaking more, which was perfectly fine with her right now!
This time it would be about a rumor, one that involved a large bear possibly causing terror for the people of Haphass. Faust saw her as a respectable man, inviting her to come alone if she so wished to. "Well, if you don't mine a commoner going along with you I don't mind doing so. If the rumors are true it would mean I can help out for a good cause and still make a bit of money to fund myself for my travels, right?" She would smirk again, like a guy seeing the coin at the end of a job and thinking about what he would do with his riches.

Strength was never an issue for Faust, his magical prowess had been more or less innate, proving himself time and time again of his natural born edge in comparison towards those of his peers. With that, he had never truly feared of becoming part of the knights. But perhaps it was all due to the fact that he was yet to be met with someone, or something, that could strike fear and despair. While he didn't wish of even encountering such, it sure did intrigue him of what lies ahead. Sure, there are those who's gap between his and their power could be seen as unreachable, much like the captains and the wizard king himself, but they never did pose a threat for him as they were allies who wouldn't dare threaten his life... right?
"I'm fairly sure that experience shall bring you closer to your goal." He uttered. "And as far as safety's concern..." He paused, trailing off as he craned his head to the side, pondering what might possibly threaten him at that point. Mana beast? Surely not, the area seemed far more peaceful to ever host such foul fiends. Rouge mages? Sure, however he was confident of his ability to simply fed them off regardless of what and who they were. "It would only be foolish of them to disturb such a peaceful place."
After a few more moments of dipping in and out of the lake, finally, Faust stood up. Water came rushing down off of him, falling gently as it slid off of his skin. Sure, his trousers were now wet, but they would dry out in just a few minutes. He turned his attention towards his company and, with a bow, gave his final remarks. "Again, it is my pleasure to meet you, Elliot." He said. He then went ahead and took his step out of the water, taking hold of the towel he had hung together with his clothing. He wiped his hair before wiping his body dry, with the towel now thrown over his shoulder, he took what remained of his clothing that he had hung and simply carried them for the meantime.
He took a few steps away from the lake, ready to leave. However, he turned his gaze towards the other who had joined him with his little bath just before he entered the thick of the trees. "I'll be waiting in Haphass then, you should be able to find the specifics of that request on any bulletin around the kingdom." With that said, he finally took his leave, disappearing in a thick forest of cherry blossom trees.

"You're probably right. We don't know what the future holds, but that doesn't stop us from trying to shape it as we see fit. And I guess you're right about them being foolish to bother such a peaceful place." She was pretty sure he had missed what she was trying to say, though it was likely cause he was truly male where she just wished to be. He thought monsters and beasts, she meant other people with it. "A pleasure to meet you as well, Faust. I'll see you in Haphass."
Faust would leave the water first, Elliot staying in and relaxing for a while longer after he left before the silence began to fill her with a slight amount of dread. Once that hit she would quickly get out of the water to pat herself dry with the towel she had brought along before making her way out in a different direction than Faust had. She wanted to grab a few things in a different town before meeting up with him in Haphass. This was going to be her first request or mission of any type alongside a Magic Knight so she wanted to have the right tools to use at her disposal. A golem spell was nice, but maybe it was time to pick up a nice weapon too.
