Fuu once again found herself in the forest on the outskirts of Hage. She sat on a familiar looking boulder in a familiar area. It was where she ate with the Dark Titan, Titaniya of the Black Bulls, and where she earned said woman's respect...or at least her acknowledgment? The woman wanted Fuu to meet her back here the very next day very early in the morning. The sky was still pretty dark and not even the birds were chirping yet. There were still the sound of crickets and various other creatures that are normally out during the night hours.
The earth mage sat there with her hands against the sides of her face. She appeared bored and had bags under her eyes. Despite knowing how early she had to wake...Fuu might have stood up for the majority of the night, exploring the town and causing a bit of mischief like she usually does. Now she was paying for it with very heavy eyes...but at least her injuries from the other day were healed, courtesy of her squad's healing mages! Unfortunately there wasn't a spell for drowsiness...not that the girl knew of at least.
"Where is she...?" the girl groaned, her tone lacking energy as a loud yawn escaped her mouth. "I swear she better not be still asleep." Fuu rubbed her eyes before looking around. Still no sign of her new mentor. With a shrug, the dwarf decided to lay on the rock which didn't seem like a comfortable choice, but Fuu appeared to be use to it at least. "I'll just...rest my eyes..." Another yawn escaped the girl while her eyes slammed shut. "....for a couple of...minutes..." With that, Fuu was fast asleep, and despite what she said, the dwarf would be like that for a couple of hours...if nobody decided to wake her up that is.
Titaniya had indeed slept in on purpose though as she wanted to have the other girl not be rested while she was instead, a plan she would soon find that just did not work out well. In any case when she did get up and get right on moving she geared up in everything she left she would need for this bit of training.
The sun would be on the horizon as she arrived at the location when she quickly noticed the girl was already there, but they are asleep, well that plan did not go well, instead she would need to use a different plan that being how to wake them up, choosing to grab a rock first then reeled her hand back and threw the rock hard at the smaller girl’s head aiming for by their left eye due to that being the one she could better aim at without needing to move around to the other side.
“Wake up sunshine! It is go time!” she has a slight grin on her face. Titanya was, by the time she woke the girl up, only in a tank-top and shorts, wearing no shoes or such. All her main outfits and large boots and such are all by her backpack. “You best feel nice and refreshed after your nap, because it is running time!” She would wait for them to get ready as she just stands ready, hands on her hips. Fuu found herself fast asleep on that boulder, snoring without a care in the world. She was already use to sleeping out in forests and hard surfaces, so none of this bothered her. It was like sleeping in her room back at the Green Mantis base...which amazingly looked a lot more dirty compared to out here.
Unfortunately, her peaceful snooze would be cut short as something rammed against her head, causing a stinging pain that made Fuu fall off of her impromptu bed. Once again, the girl was face first on the ground, and she used one of her hands to elevate herself a bit while rubbing the side of her head with the other. "Alright wiseguy! I hope you got someone who'll write your obituary, cuz I'm about ta pound ya to dea-" Fuu stopped immediately as she heard a familiar voice speak to her. The earth mage looked up and was met by that same towering figure wearing a different set of clothing. "Oh." So she didn't forget! Though it looks like some time has passed, judging by the sky.
Getting back to her feet, Fuu still looked a little sleepy with those bags still under her eyes. They weren't as heavy as before and she felt a little more lively both from the little nap she took and the shock of being woken up by a rock to the face...."Eh, Running? Where are we even running to?" Fuu questioned, yawning once again. She was all for a good jog, but the dwarf still felt like laying down which made her a bit reluctant.
Titaniya looked at the girl over some listening to them first be in defense of themselves, then be tired again as they sorta complained about where they were running to then yawned. When they yawn the dark bull would throw another rock at their face aimed for the same spot as before. She would then talk on what the plan was “Well, you will be running trying to get this from me” she holds up a figurine made of obsidian that was made and painted to look like Fuu doing a thumbs up. “You will be trying to take this from me, but not only that, you will be trying to defend me from getting this from you” she tosses another figurine to the girl more in a pass. This one is a model of Titania doing her spooky grim grin.
She would put the Fuu figurine into a small bag on her side “We will continue until you manage to have both figurines. No matter how long that takes.” with the task explained she would talk on how to start “So, we begin in one minute, in that time we will both go in opposite directions, then everything is fair from when it starts.” What she did not tell Fuu is that she has multiple versions of the fuu figurine in her bag, and she has to have the right version for it to be right.
So with everything explained she started to walk away from the girl as a way to say she was not accepting questions, this was bound to be a blast of a training and she could not wait to see how long it would take the girl to manage it.
The earth mage managed to slap the incoming rock out of the way this time, her reflexes proving to be not all that decreased due to her tiredness. Fuu then squinted at the obsidian figurine of herself before crossing her eyes. "Heh, gotta admit, that's a good looking figure." the dwarf claimed with a smirk, mostly saying that because it was a figure of herself. The task seemed pretty straightforward, even for the sleepy dwarf.
That is, until the towering bull continued to speak...
The girl's smirk formed into a little frown as she caught the Titaniya figure. Just seeing that...grin was enough to give the earth mage flashbacks of what happened yesterday, making her quietly question whether she really wanted to hold onto it. "Uhh..." She then looked back up at the other mage, listening closely to the instructions. Luckily there wasn't a time limit this time which led the girl to sigh in relief, but that didn't make this any easier...not that she'd want it to be.
"Seems easy enough." Fuu nodded, once again her cockiness showing itself as Titaniya already started walking. By the end of this, that figurine will be..." Another yawn escaped the girl's mouth. "...that figurine will be mine." With that, Fuu grinned, rubbing her sleepy eyes as she went the opposite direction, marching confidently with her...creepy figure in hand, but quickly paused, coming up with something. Turning around, the girl noticed that the dark titan was still facing away, and with a sly grin, the dwarf quickly picked up a rock and stuffed it in her pocket before hiding the figure in some nearby bushes in an attempt to bamboozle her mentor in case she ever caught her. With that, Fuu continued to walk until she reached her end, whistling a little tune.
