Fame is based on one specific form of currency, Notable Achievements (NA's), which is also connected to one's [Title]. The more NA's one has, the more fame that they acquire as their name spreads. These are broken up into several tiers that rank one's general fame and the knowledge that the world populace knows of you.
[break][break]
NOTE: Some NA's only grant this fame with certain factions; see details below.
[break]
For instance, though a character may have 25 NA's total, if 16 of those NA's are dungeons, then the character will only be considered a well-known "Greenhorn" to the general populace. On the other hand, Magic Knights will know of their full feats and will treat them as proper "Heroes" by comparison. Though your total NA may provide you access to the NA shop of that level, keep in mind that your fame is not flat across the board with this system.
[break][break]
[break]
Characters gain the ability to upgrade themselves by access to the Notable Achievement Shop based on their current tier (see tiers below). This shop gives access to bonuses that are generally seen as rare or limited. Keep in mind that the NA Shop is separate from the [Title] benefits.
[break][break]
[break]
As a character progresses through their lifetime, their basic actions and choices in perks, affinities, and more can all reward them with NA's that apply to their capabilities.
[break]
[break]
[break]
As a person does things they may stumble and find that they have achieved something they didn't expect and gain a little more renown for these feats.
[break]
[break]
There is a final way to acquire NA's beyond the three standard methods listed above, and that is through actions your character performs that may cause a shift in your fame in some way. Perhaps you have acquired an abnormal amount of power at a rapid pace, or you fought a Magic Knight Vice-Captain to a draw in an all-out magical battle. Perhaps you acted as a one-man army against an entire platoon of enemy soldiers or powerful criminals.
[break][break]
The possibilities are endless! Don't be afraid to ask for a NA when your character does something substantial for your current rank. However, keep in mind that only three NA's may be earned using this method per month, and you cannot acquire an NA for doing something you have already done. Also, just because you apply does not guarantee you the NA by any means. Staff will review it and you may be denied. But don't let that discourage you, as you will always be told why.

[break][break]

[break]
General/Misc NA: These are known by all factions without question and apply to one's fame universally.
[break][break]
Event NA: Only apply to the faction that owned or was connected to the mission, thread, or dungeon-based event.
[break][break]
Dungeon NA: Only applies to the Magical Knights unless the dungeon specifically states that it is common knowledge to the populace what takes place (such as a training dungeon).
For instance, though a character may have 25 NA's total, if 16 of those NA's are dungeons, then the character will only be considered a well-known "Greenhorn" to the general populace. [break][break]
[break]
Tier 0 - Unknown [0 NA]: You are a "nobody." When it comes to your fame on a basic level as an individual, no one besides those in your personal circles have any idea whom you are.
[break][break]
Tier 1 - Greenhorn [5 NA]: You have begun to acquire a basic following of fans. Some people know your name and a general [Title] has set into place for you, based off of knowledge of your actions or appearance. They would not recognize your face, but may know your name and [Title].
[break][break]
Tier 2 - Veteran [10 NA]: Now you are finally making waves. At this point, you have begun to accumulate enough fame that people know your name and [Title]. A few people may even know your general appearance or magic now.
[break][break]
Tier 3 - Rising Star [15 NA]: You have finally taken the step into what many would call "true fame." At this point, people know your name, [Title], and magic without question. Pictures of you have likely circulated through many papers, and any city or small town is going to know who you are if you walk in.
[break][break]
Tier 4 - Star [20 NA]: Your name is known and compared to the names of Magic Knight Captains. People know who you are—your name, your magic, and how long you have been doing what you do. Parts of your history (as long as it has been in interviews or told to someone in a bar, etc) are even known at this point. You are on a pedestal, for good or ill. You are now truly famous.
[break][break]
Tier 5 - Hero [25 NA]: If people before knew your name in Clover Kingdom, now people know your name outside it. Other countries know who you are, the power and magic you wield and have a general idea of your appearance. No one in your own kingdom shouldn't recognize you at this point (unless they lived under a rock for the past few years). You are considered a "Wizard King Potential" at this point and are compared to others of similar status and power.
[break][break]
Tier 6 - Living Legend [35 NA]: At this point, even other countries know exactly as much as the people from your own kingdom do. Your list of feats is more extensive than any normal Magic Knight Captains, and you have risen past titles like "Wizard King Potential." You have become so famous you are quite literally compared to people of such status. The chances of anyone, from any country, not at least knowing your name and [Title] is near impossible. You will go down in history for hundreds of years well after your death.
