There isn’t much to do around the Purple Orca base besides train and mingle, it was time to go out and explore the area and take on some of the missions that were floating around on the request board. Approaching the board with intent to complete as many tasks as possible the one which caught his eye was a request that asked for someone anyone to help them find their lost kitten Mr. Snugglepuff, not what Arjuna would have named a cat but to each their own. The point was that they needed help and it was the job of Magic Knights to go out and complete this very requests, there was of course a reward usually in the form of Stars and Yul which for the starting out mage were great boons.[break][break]

Once he had taken down the details on the request, Arjuna made his way back to his room and begun preparing his things that he might need during this mission. He didn’t need to wait for a companion this time like usual and once things were ready Arjuna made his way to Kiten where the request was taking place at. Upon arriving in the town he spent a good bit of time actually looking around the area getting a good feel of the area and how things were layed out it would help him greatly when it came to actually searching for the cat in question. Making sure to note where he saw where most strays hung out at and the places where animals naturally gathered like the parks and the alleyways Arjuna made his way to the client’s household. The Client was an older Aristocrat named Ms. Williams, she was covered in fur clothing and the scent of perfumed was worn more as an armor then as an accessory. “Hello Ms. Williams I am Arjuna Shengxiao of the Purple Orca, I am here to find your kitten Mr. Snugglepuff.” Arjuna stated with a respectful tone and presence. “If you could give me a description of Mr. Snugglepuff I will be on my way to bring him back home.”[break][break]

Ms. Williams had put that request up just over a week prior to Arjuna showing up but he was the first to actually arrive while she normally cared about her appearance in front of anyone when it came to the face that someone had decided to help her find her beloved Mr. Snugglepuff she was overcome with emotion, though she did her best to keep from crying there was a slight sniffle in the mix as she talked to the young magic knight in front of her, “Mr Snugglepuff is of the brightest orange with beautifully matching dark strips on his back three of them actually, he walks with a grace of a lion and has black fur around his feet as if he was wearing some shoes.” Ms. Williams announced to Arjuna. While she described the cat Arjuna made sure to pay close attention and upon hearing all the information needed he nodded his head and begun his search for the missing creature. He hoped that due to his prior research and studying of the areas that this would be a bit easier on him, though he wasn’t going to allow himself to underestimating the challenge of trying to find and capture a cat of all things. Everyone knew how fickle cats could be and especially those who lived in the wild, they kept their distance and would run away at the earliest sign of danger or undesired interaction. So first Arjuna made his way around the town slowly and thoroughly searching for any group of cats, he found quite a bit of them and did his best to keep his distance as he examined those he could see for the one that would match the description of the animal given by his client. It wouldn’t be long before the search was starting to wear on in time and effort, most of the town had been searched quite thoroughly and while being able to discover the majority of the strays of the city it seemed that Mr. Snugglepuff was no where to be found. Maybe Arjuna was simply thinking about things all wrong he had been focused on looking for the large gatherings of the creatures but maybe just maybe this high end creature would be by himself and in areas that only the best of scraps were to be found. With this train of thought in mind Arjuna started to go back through the richer side of the town and look for more areas that the scraps tossed by the various restaurants and establishments were a bit more on the exquisite and fresh side. Luckily, it seemed that this was the correct choice of action and in the distance upon one of the tables as if he was a customer enjoying his meal on the table outside was Mr. Snugglepuff. Arjuna noticed that he really did carry himself as if he was some king of the savannah and not just another spoiled feline that roamed the area, maybe it had something to do with his upbringing or lineage, shaking his head to get himself back on track Arjuna slowly and politely approached the cat making sure to not sneak up on the animal. Mr. Snugglepuff regarded him as just another person and went back to eating his food, once Arjuna was close enough to be able to grab the cat he instead spoke to it, “Mr. Snugglepuff it is time to return home, I am here to escort you back to your home.” Hoping that his thought process of how this cat was probably held at a high regard by any servants of Ms. Williams was correct, Arjuna slowly approached to hold the cat. To his surprise, it was the correct choice as Mr. Snugglepuff allowed himself to be picked up and carried while retaining an air of dignity and class unusual for any normal feline. Arjuna simply smiled and made his way back to the client’s household, it was a refreshing trip as his passenger eased into his arms and even allowed him to pet him on the walk back home. Arjuna felt a sense of longing when it came to petting the cat, maybe in the future he would get one himself though he doubted he would be able to care for it properly due to the nature of his job and the need to travel constantly would keep him away from his responsibility to care for another creature. Regardless it was something that he entertained while they approached the large estate, Upon enter into the client’s house Mr. Snugglepuff made his desire to be put down known and made his way towards his owner as she came quickly as her body would allow down the stairs into the lobby.[break][break]

“Oh Mr. Snugglepuff you have returned, are you ok? Why did you leave me?” Ms. Williams cried as she scooped up her cat bearing her cheek into the soft fur, “Oh thank you young man I don’t know how to thank you enough.” Arjuna smiled and bowed, “I was simply doing what was asked ma’am there is no reason to thank me, I’m just glad that I was able to complete the task given to me.” Once Ms. Williams calmed down, she seemed to glow now that her only family had been returned to her. “Well you have done just that, thank you once more, I will make sure to report the completion of the request to your squad.” After getting the final thanks from Ms. Williams, Arjuna made his way back to base. It was a simple task, but the sense of accomplishment was more then enough for the young Shengxiao.
