It was very late in the evening and a rare occurrence had begun to happen that very day of October 31st and in some random small village near the outskirts of the fringe. Alcides Guerrero, a man not known by many because he doesn't normally speak or hang out with others. Plus there was the long time he had spent in the cells of Clover Kingdom's jail as far away from the normal people as he could be. But now that was all passed him and he had been taken in by the squad named the Green Mantis of the Magic Knights of the very same Clover Kingdom that had thrown him into a cell. Tho this had all been due to his hungry to consume human flesh that had been with him from birth. Now to get back to the present time of him heading for a shady looking tavern that screamed someone would more than likely be mugged, killed, and/or both at this location. As it happened to be the man's nineteenth birthday, tho someone could easily mistake him as if he was easily twenty-five or twenty-six due to his looks and built body frame. The reasoning for this man coming to this tavern of all those that had been anywhere else was due to a legend/rumor of a creature that had lived in the fringe that happened to be not that far from the closest edge of it that the village was built near. So he had come here to collect information about this creature and to find out if it really did exist, if so what did it look like and more direct location to find it.
Upon opening the door to this tavern, the not super busy place wasn't rustling with noise but what looked like the chattering that was going on at that moment had stopped for a moment. As they all turned to see a tall man standing a little over six foot an two inches tall in a black suit with a muscular build and a harpoon on his back walked into the place. After the man had got to the counter of the bar they all seemed to lose interest in the man and went back to chatting, arguing, and/or gambling with each other while they were all drinking. "Hello stranger, we don't have too many new faces around these parts. What would you be having? or if you don't have any money then get the hell out of here now!" Coming from a man behind the bar that had to be no taller than five foot tall but looked old and nasty as an old mound of dirt. From what Alcides was telling of saying and doing to this old man that was more than likely suffering from some kind of disease or some kind of birth defect. But he didn't do that as he had come to this place in search of information about that creature he has heard a few things about. Before speaking he reaches into his pocket and pulls out some yul, then tosses it onto the counter in front of both himself and the bartender. "Two mugs of ale. An I'm looking for anyone that would known anything about WRIENIX!" The last part when he gets down to the name of the creature he yells it out. Doing so in order to hopefully obtain the information he is looking for and once he has that he can leave this nasty group of people.
The whole place bursts with laughter from every single person there and it was very clear to Alcides that it was just a lousy rumor of nonsense. He jugged both mugs of ale and went to head for the door and leave, it was at that moment that the barkeep had yelled out something. "Ha, you must be a dead man walking if you're looking for that damn thing. The stories of Wrienix are true but the survival rate of meaning that beast and coming back alive is almost zero percent. Half of this whole village had gone out there to find him as most of us here are born with deadly diseases. Out of the thirty-six of us, I was the only one to come back alive and only reason I'm not dead now is because it was feasting on the body of both the alive and death of those other thirty-five people." The man says out loud enough to stop Alcides in his tracks and returns to the bar. He pulls out a bag of yul this time and puts the whole thing down on the bar counter. "Tell me where to find this beast at and that is all yours." He says while staring at the old man with eyes full of blood lust to hunt this creature down and kill it himself. The bartender takes the bag of yul and goes to put it away, as he returns with an old and blood stained map and hands it to him. "This will take you there and don't worry about returning it as if someone like you could even come back alive." The old bartender says as he goes back to clean and/or taking care of the other people there in the tavern. Alcides leaves from the tavern with the map in one hand and takes the harpoon from his back into his other hand and sets out to find Wrienix by himself.
While Alcides is making his own way to the location of the map that should be where Wrienix is at, he had been thinking about the benefits if the story/rumors of the creature were really true. As it has been said that one was to consume even a small amount of this creature's flesh it could cure any kind of illness or deformity in the person's body. His one and only hope was to get rid of this hunger for other human's flesh could be stopped and that he might be able to finally live like most kinda normal people. Most of all the idea of not have to fight the urge to murder and eat there body or to consume them alive would make living life so much easier for him. After quite a few hours of traveling through this wasteland of a desert of nothingness but some sand-duns and some large rocks every once in a while. Finally getting to the spot on the map where he believes is the right location, those the map only shows that of one mountain looking scribble, but before him looked like some kind of formation that wasn't natural and almost looked as if it was man made to create a huge magic circle of some kind. As before him is a large rock mountain directly in the middle of his area, with three large boulder shaped rocks set up in a triangle points around the mountain, and then along the outside of the mountain and boulders forming a two circles around the triangle are little rocks no bigger than a dog house that are all spread out. The little rocks are in the numbers of about nine for the inner circle and twelve for the outer circle. There was something odd about the little rocks as they seem to either be slightly shifting or moving but as he is in a desert right a mirage could be going on right in front of him. But as Alcides was here to find the legendary creature of truth or rumor named "Wrienix'' and he wasn't about to let a so called mirage stop him from finding this creature and hopefully finally finding a cure for his own self.
Upon walking up towards this formation of rocks, boulders, and a mountain, the little rocks are really moving around on their own right in front of Alcides's own eyes. Once he gets within a range of a meter from the first circle the little rocks stop moving for a moment and just start moving towards his very location. As it would seem that something is trying to attack him or scare him off with this find of display. Lucky for him they are just small rocks that he can easily jump over or step out of the way as they aren't moving all that fast. Tho it is still very annoying to have to dodge constantly, but he does make it into the area between the two circles with not much of a problem. The little rocks from the first circle don't seem to be following or trying to get at him now that he is past their normal locations. On the other hand the little rocks of the second circle seemed to have noticed his presence and have started to move towards him like the ones before but they are going quite a bit faster than the last ones. Not always is he able to dodge them as they slam into his feet and legs which hurts like hell. Alcides starts to punch down at the rocks and even try to kick them as they get close. The punches that strike the rocks seem to stop them momentarily but those ones that mess get hit by the rocks in the same way as his legs. This goes on for some time until he has knocked over all nine of the rocks, as they seem to be flat underneath and don't roll back over. These little rocks seem to be anything other than a normal rock from up close but for some reason give off a very easily sensed pulsation of magical power/energy coming from the rocks. He doesn't seem to think anything off it as he simply walks right by all the rocks and has made it past the second circle of rocks.
Now Alcides seems to be facing a very big problem, as the three large boulders seem to be making their way to him and they are easily about three meters taller than him. But on the other hand they seem to be as slow as the first circle of little rocks so it does make it a little easier for him. So he tries to make a run for the rock shaped mountain, as he does that the large boulders get faster the closer he gets towards the mountain. It was very clear for him that there won't be a chance for him to make it to the mountain at this rate. So he turned and began to run towards one of the boulders coming at him and jumped onto it and made his way up to the top of it. At that same moment he had to cling onto the boulder as best as he could because the one he had gotten onto had stopped in place while the other two were still coming towards him. Then at that moment he had recalled the fact that when he hit the little one with his fist they had stopped momentarily. Now his plan was to simply wait for a little more and then he jumped from the top of the boulder he was on right as the other two were just about to slam into that one he had been standing on. A loud clash had happened and then three monstrous cries were let out. These cries had echoed between the large boulders and the rock shaped mountain. Alcides almost went crazy/mad from the ringing of cries while his head due to the fact that he was right in between the boulders and mountain. Suddenly a large monstrous roar of a huge creature came out of nowhere and the mountain itself began to move and turn itself around. "HOW DARES TO ENTER MY LAND! HOW DARES TO HURT MY CHILDREN!!! ....." The sound of a large being with a voice had boomed and echoed throughout the whole desert itself and then quickly went silent. "Nothing but a single human has come to cause chaos for me in my own land... GOOD FOR NOTHING LAIR!" This time the creature's voice had gone to normal for a moment then back to booming and yelling. Then right before Alcides's eyes head appeared a large massive turtle's snout and before he could even say anything it reached down and ate the man whole in one body in one bite.
Side notes, Wrienix is a turtle mana beast that's shell is the rock shaped mountain while the three large boulders are it's three children which are mana beasts as well. Now if anyone wishes to use the turtle and its children for their own plot they are free to do so. My only suggests are that all four mana beasts have affinity towards earth/rock themes and that Wrienix is at least one or two rank higher then the children.
