Clive was a man who enjoyed training, since a very young age he began a training regime to keep himself in top physical form. This helped him with the usage of his magic, which came alongside his four-leaf grimoire. He was still unaware of the full extent of his magic, as he didn't know anyone in the Kingdom that possessed such magic. The sword mage had a preference for training in the wild, like forests. It wasn't rare for him to come to one of the many forests inside the Common Region to train. Living in the Capital didn't allow him to come here as often as he wanted to be as he also had a duty as a Magic Knight to which he had a lot of pride.
The Crimson Lion decided to take a break from his training for today, after spending a few hours doing push-ups and other different kinds of exercise. Even for someone who was used to training physically, he still got tired after a few hours. It was only natural, he was nowhere close compared to his older cousin Ardere, the Captain of the Crimson Lions, but he had a strong determination to reach his level someday. "It surely has been a long day, maybe I'll continue after this break and the head back." He spoke to himself, he didn't plan on finishing this early on. He was yet to push himself to the limit even if that could be a bit reckless. His sense of duty and pride often didn't allow him to think properly which was one of his biggest flaws. Unknown to him, today his training was going to be interrupted by someone, in this case, a fellow squad member...
A black carriage heading down a local road, the path leading straight towards one of the richest figures in the common realm that dealt with the day to day business of helping supply his area with the proper amount of food. The carriage however didn't belong to that figure, but instead it belonged to Octavius Dares, accompanied by his daughter, Viera Dares, Crimson Lion's newest magic knight recruit. "Dad did I have to come to this? I should be at the base meeting my seniors and receiving my first instructions..." Viera argued as she sat opposite of her father in the carriage, half of her face being covered by her drawing notebook, her version of pouting as she looked outside and saw they were approaching their destination.
"Now, now, Viera dear. How many times have I told you it's not proper manners to talk behind a book it muffles your voice and you have such a lovely one, just like your mother." Viera made a small grunt as she turned her eyes to her father, "Don't be so pissy, you're a magic knight now so gotta be patient and stick it out. Besides, you are still my successor and it will do you good to see as much as the business, with you being a magic knight now you won't get as many chances to attend these.. "fun" events."
Viera physically deflated as she sunk into her chair, "Hey now.. Listen Viera, luckily me and the head of the house have some business we must talk about in private for a good awhile, during that time you're free to roam around the area as you please, just be back at least in three or four hours. A nice young man would like to meet you, I heard he is quite the charmer." Viera didn't like the last part but the first part about her being able to freely roam perked her up, as she sat straight up in her chair, her head close to the window as she saw the house was now within a few minute walk as the carriage slowed to pull into the estate. As soon as the doors were open Viera didn't allow her father to hesitate on his choice, dashing on her heels towards the nearby forest, she had been in the area a couple of times and her dad knew she liked the forest, "Thanks dad, see you later~!" She didn't see it but her dad's f ace would relax as he waved her goodbye, his little Viera hadn't changed a bit.
Released from a boring meeting Viera ran, her heels naturally breaking but she had prepared for the occasion and easily switched them out for comfortable weaved shoe wear, she had gotten them in the commoner region yet they felt more comfortable then any noble shoe wear, she felt the wind pass through the short locks of her hair, the smell of the fresh trees and the river not to far off gave her a certain freedom the noble region could never give her, she felt truly free in the moment, she needed to draw the moment. Slowing down, she would walk for a bit more, looking for a rock for a solid place she could sit and draw, in her search however she would find something entirely different, a whole person. "Oh, Hello. I'm sorry to intrude I was just looking for a place to draw the area, it's quiet lovely isn't it?

As Clive was about to resume his training, yet again he was interrupted by the arrival of someone. Which was rather unexpected, the auburn-haired man turned around to spot Viera. "Oh hello, there. It's alright. Indeed, it's really peaceful here. So I have a preference for these kinds of places." The Crimson Lion stated, as the female that had just arrived said she wanted to draw. This caught his attention, as this was his first time encountering someone who likes to draw. He wasn't the type of guy who liked drawing, but he could understand the appreciation for art. Clive was more a warrior, who had a strong liking and appreciation for swords of all types.
"You like to draw? It's not every day I meet someone who likes to draw? I take it has to do with your magic?" Clive asked, a lot of people in the Kingdom who had a strong interest in paintings and drawing usually had magic related to that. Though he never got the chance to talk to any of those people. "Oh sorry, where are my manners? My name is Clive Kasai, nice to meet you." He said as he extended his hand out to Viera as a semi-formal greeting. His training was likely interrupted by now, but it didn't matter as it was something he could continue later on if he still has time. The Crimson Lion was still unaware that she was a new member of the Magic Knights, much less a member of the Crimson Lions, but perhaps she will recognize his last name as it was the same name the Captain of the Crimson Lions had, he also shared similar traits such the hair color. Though his outfit choice was different, as he looked more like a warrior than a Magic Knight. Even though the House Kasai was from nobility, he didn't have any particular taste in wearing those expensive outfits like other nobles did unless he had to go to a more formal meeting, like a ball.
Due to the nature of his job as a Magic Knight, Clive always wore the same clothing whenever he went. He grew a liking for it as well and he was proud to show his true colors of being a member of the Crimson Lions. He was proud to serve the Kingdom and its people, Noble or Commoner.
Excused from the horrors of noble politics by her father Viera ran into the forest, a place she had drawn numerous times over the years yet each of her drawings of the place were different, each visit let her capture a small part of the forest within her mind eye and she immortalized it in paper with her pen, it was a false capture of a memory as it could never compare to the real beauty but by drawing it she felt like in that moment, she was truly free and believed that with one hundred percent she truly was.
So, when she ran into the forest and meant a stranger and asked him but a simple question before she expected to part ways she was a bit surprised at his answer, "Oh I see~" Viera said simply tucking a loc of her hair behind her ear with her right hand, most of the people that lived here knew of her father and by extension her so to have someone who answered her so casually without pause, it was refreshing and she felt comfortable. Her pause was stopped as the guy in front of her asked if she liked to draw stating he hadn't seen many people like her, asking if it was part of his magic. "As you guessed, my magic does relate to my drawings, however I wouldn't say I started drawing because of my magic. Drawing is something special to me that I picked up as a hobby when I was in a stressful place, it comforts me and allows me to see our world for what it truly is, beautiful." Noticing she talked to much Viera would stop and hide a bit of her face behind her drawing notebook, a bit embarrassed she was so outspoken to a stranger.
Before she could fully hide herself the boy in front of her put out his hand, introducing himself as Clive Kasai.."Kasai.?" Viera said out loud trying to remember where she saw it on paper or who she heard it from, it took a minute but finally connecting the dots she realized that the name Kasai, was on right next to the first name Ardere and that Ardere Kasai was the Crimson Lion's squad captain, the same one she had just joined "K-k-kasai.. as in.. Ardere Kasai, Captain of the Crimson Lion's..?" Viera said as her hand reached out to meet Clive's, "Um.. um.. Viera Dares. Newest member of the Crimson Lion's. Nice,,nice to meet you senpai..~" Viera was at this point shocked.

Clive had just made a small assumption to a person he just recently met, normally people who had such interest in art had some sort of relationship to their magic. Because of the nature of their magic, they had a natural ability to make such drawings and do things no one else could. "Oh, I see. That's very nice." With that maybe she started drawing before she even received her grimoire, using drawing as a hobby to relieve stress was quite nice. A lot of people had different ways to relieve stress, in his, it was exercising and training so he could get peace of mind. Normally, he preferred training in nature instead of the base. Viera didn't seem to be as social as Clive who was quite outgoing and social with everyone in general, having been born as a member of the House Kasai. The sword mage was surrounded by quite the energetic people since he was young, being told to always keep moving forward.
"Oh Ardere? He's my cousin." He began to laugh a bit over her connection and the relationship between the two. Being related to one of the most famous and strongest mages in the Kingdom wasn't anything to scoff at, a lot of people felt quite intimated over such revelation. Nonetheless, he was very friendly and outgoing even if the person was a Commoner or Nobility. "Don't worry, we're quite friendly. I know the name may be intimidating." He believed that both groups needed to work together regardless of magical power and differences. Nobles were often arrogant and didn't find a need for training or improving, as they felt like they were naturally stronger than Commoners. Which was true, the sword mage couldn't deny the truth that Nobles were born with stronger magical power than Commoners. This was also a weakness, which made Nobles unable to train because of their arrogance, they never seem to seek their limits and go beyond them. Often times, determined Commoners had a strong will to overcome all barriers and go past their limits.
Viera later stated that she was actually a new recruit of the Crimson Lions to which he smiled, it was slightly unexpected, but he was quite glad to be able to meet a fellow squad member. "Oh? You're a new recruit? That's good to know. Nice to meet you Viera and welcome to the Crimson Lions."
