The wind was strong today, yet the sun was shining bright like the star it was. Echo would find himself in a area that was very unfamiliar to him, that area being the noble region. Though Echo was of noble blood and birth, he had only made a few trips to the Noble region in his life. He normally chose to stay within the Common Regions as that was where his family estate was, and also where some of the best hunting grounds in the kingdom were. However this was no sight seeing trip as Echo had a job to fulfill for the Shadow Broker.
This time around the job was to kidnap the teenage daughter of a noble who had recently done something to disrupt things for Shadow Broker. Echo could have bothered to gotten a bit more detail, but the Shadow Broker never really told anyone more than what they NEEDED to know. So what the man now did was actually irrelevant, but was relevant was the fact that the man now had to pay for what he had done. Echo was no do gooder but he did have morals and principles, and he felt as though him having to cause harm to a child didn’t follow anything he stood for. Yet the temptation of using the organization for power would grow within his mind each day more and more clouding his judgement.
When Echo would arrive in the town it would be about 7 p.m. as the sky had just started to truly darken itself, and the streets would slowly but surely begin to empty themselves of people. Echo had already been given the location for where the noble’s house was within the city. All he had to do was get there and grab the little girl and begone. This operation wasn’t going to be Echo’s usual bow blazing, frontline attack or robbery. This job Echo needed to have some type of stealth and make himself scarce from the scene as fast as possible when he finished. Making his way to the house he would walk the streets cautiously, making sure nobody of importance was around to see him or what he would soon be up to.
After about 10 minutes of walking through town, Echo would have the house within his eyesight. Before approaching the house however he would stop into an alleyway to change his attire up just a bit. He would place on a green jacket, that wasn’t too dissimilar to his already green hunter’s shirt. The jacket would have a hood, which Echo would pull up over his head. After placing the hood on his head, making sure that no parts of his hair were visible, he would then place a mask on his face which would cover the area around his eyes and nose. The disguise wasn’t anything special, however it was a gift from the shadow broker as a reward for Echo moving up in the organization.
After preparing himself he would exit the alleyway with his bow in his hand and his grimoire floating beside him. Now approaching the house he was ready to complete the job. The young male would then walk up to the door of the house before kicking in the door and preparing to get things started.
