Charles found himself walking in the streets of the small town of Sosshi, one of his most notable features to the people around him was his Magic Knight cloak, people were easily able to tell by the color and emblem that he was a member of the Black Bulls. This really didn't surprise the people around him, they knew the Black Bulls had their Headquarters close to the town, so seeing members of the Black Bulls around here was a common occurrence. Compared to other Magic Knight Squads like the Golden Dawn or Silver Eagles, who were known for being the very best or doing things with absolute perfection. The Black Bulls was another story, they were known as a squad of misfits, this didn't bother Charles at all, he was too lazy to even care about what the public thought of his squad. He hasn't been in the squad for long and it hasn't been as bad people say the Black Bulls are, sure they were people with some odd personalities inside the squad, but they were tolerable. The Black Bulls had its pros and cons, all squads had their good and bad things no matter how perfect they may appear to the general public, they always had flaws.
He kept on walking through the streets until he found himself in the entrance of a restaurant, it was already a bit past noon, he was hungry. He heard from one of the members of the Black Bulls that the restaurant had good food, he was very hungry. Something not a lot of people knew is that Charles was usually someone who ate a lot, despite him being capable of eating large quantities of food when hungry, he was still able to maintain his physique, his metabolism, him still being in his teenager years and the exercise he did every once in a while when he didn't feel lazy and too bored to do something else, all of that played a role on his current physique.
Charles eventually walked into the restaurant, as expected it was full, it was a bit past noon and this was usually the time people ate lunch. It also meant that if a lot of people were here, it could also be because the food was good just as he heard. Nobody will come to a restaurant that served terrible food. Despite the restaurant being full, he was lucky enough to find an empty table. He proceeded to take a sit where the table was located. A few moments later a waitress arrived at his table and asked him for his order.
He wasn't filled with emotion, but he was still polite and respectful towards the waitress, he was taught proper manners as a kid and if he wanted people to respect him, he needs to give them respect as well."Greetings, I will like a plate of meat, alongside some potatoes and steam vegetables, thanks." Him getting meat wasn't something usual, but since he had enough money to afford to eat such things so it wouldn't be bad to eat something different every once in a while, plus meat was good for him. The waitress smiled at Charles and nodded, she walked away to get his order ready.
Charles remained on his table and waiting for his food to come, placing his right shoulder on the table and placing his chin, he waited for the food to come. He was curious if it will be good or bad. It better be worth coming all the way here to eat, otherwise, he will be bothered, he could've done something else. He didn't think of anything else, he wasn't someone used to eating luxurious food like the Nobles. He didn't have high standards for food, as long as it was decent it was fine for him and was worth his time, eating the same thing back at the Black Bulls Headquarters was getting tedious for him.
The sunlight broke through the ever-green canopy of the woods surrounding Sosshi with gentle ease that always seemed to surprise anyone who wasn’t a native to the place. It was warm and comforting, in some ways it gave an extra dimension to the shield-like protection that the dangerous forests provided to the citizens of the small town where the Black Bulls’ base was located. The place probably got very cold at winter, but Rosalia hadn’t lived there long enough to know. Barely two weeks in and she had already done a mission of her own volition and a dungeon with the captain of the Golden Dawn. It was surprising what a change of scenery and pace was brought into her life once Malcolm Watanabe entered her life with his alcoholic concoctions. She would never admit it out loud, of course, but her scandalous transfer from a Blue Rose to a Black Bulls felt right. There was more freedom and less judgment. Plus, as a commoner, she’d always felt out of place amongst the noble ladies that filled the Blue Rose Knights. Their poise and grace was one she couldn’t ever hope to match. And she’d given up trying a while back. The red-head was well aware she was a mess since the Diamond wars ended. She’d stopped caring about her reputation, picked up drinking and slept around with people whose names she couldn’t recall the morning after.
Rosalia Boreas cracked open a ruby eye as she glanced up at the bright midday sky from in between the tree trunks. She’d fallen asleep reading a book on magic again. One on spirits and why some where more powerful than others; a topic that the female knew she wouldn’t be able to discuss with anyone. Despite this, reading always calmed her thoughts and occasionally inspired her to try new things with her mana.
She stretched and groaned loudly as she lay on the green grass of the forest, letting it tickle her skin with its soft edges for a few minutes longer as she decided on what to do with her free day. Getting tea and continuing reading sounded nice…Maybe going to buy another book from the bookstore and grab a bite somewhere?
Another cat-like yawn left the witch’s pretty lips before she sat up and combed her fingers through her long crimson hair. She picked a few green leaves out of it with a smile before leaping up at the nearby sight of a large spider, a shiver running down her spine. Nope. She raised a hand towards it for a few seconds, debating on whether she should freeze it alive. It was a simple response, and something she could do quite easily, but as her heartbeat slowed again, she shook her head and let it be.
This wasn’t a mana beast. It wasn’t an enemy, and it most definitely wasn’t trying to kill her. She noted the last part as it skittered away behind a random wild rose bush that had somehow decided to grow near the particular spot that she’d made her “nap-zone.”
Rubbing her eyes and picking up her book, Rosalia headed out of the forest and back into Sosshi. She passed through the small bookshop that the town had, greeting the old lady in charge politely before buying a few books on History and Mythology and carrying them under her arm into the nearest tavern she could find. One which, she raised an eyebrow, was extremely jammed full of families and singles alike.
What caught her gaze, however, was the lone teenager adorning the mantle that she’d decided not to wear on her day off. A Black Bull, one newer than her. With a free seat in front of him that she wasn’t about to miss out on. Young as he was, his profile looked cute. She couldn’t recall seeing him around the base yet at least. Then again, she was probably too drunk to notice.
“Mind if I join in?” Rosalia practically purred as she walked over to the male, her heeled boots clicking against the wooden floor of the establishment as she sat on the chair across from him. Her ruby eyes held his gaze with a little smile as she waved at the waitress. “Hello darling, may I have whatever’s the freshest with a mug of hot tea please?” She turned to the lady with a wolfish grin. She was fully aware of the amount of attention she was attracting from the other men in the bar. “And put this sweetheart’s tab on mine please.” A blush came over the waitress’ briefly when Rosalia gave her a little wink, and she stomped away, seemingly flustered. How cute.
Another yawn reached the ice witch’s lips as she covered her face with a hand and slung an arm over the chair she was sitting on, moving her heated gaze back over to the Black Bull boy in front of her. “You’re new. Newer than me at least.” She scanned him quietly as she waited for her mug and food, pursing her rosy lips.

Charles was waiting at his table, the sound of people eating at the restaurant could be heard, the waitresses leaving and entering the dining room to bring and serve people's orders. As he was waiting at his table at a young woman walked over his table. Charles turned his attention to the young woman whose face was familiar, but he was had a hard time remembering where she had seen her before. She looked older than him for sure, she had asked him a question. She was asking him if she could join and sit down at the same table he was about to have lunch at. He looked bored waiting for the food but raised an eyebrow the question of the young lady in front of him. "Eh? Sure, I guess. He didn't know what this woman's intentions were so he remained a bit cautious with her following actions.
The waitress later arrived to take her order, he heard how she was talking to the waitress to take her order, but the next words she said were what surprised him. She was going to pay for his food? Well, that will be something nice, but the thing is he barely even knew this woman, he didn't know what her name was nor did he knew her intentions. The waitress blushed at her comment, he waited for the waitress to leave and then turned to the young lady in front of him. "W-What? Why? This had him confused, on the other side the young woman at his table was grabbing the attention of the other men in the restaurant. He guessed it was because of her appearance and outfit. Sure she looked good in it, but it will take more than that to possibly gain his attention in the way like the other men did. The only thing that interested Charles right now was who was this woman.
She had asked him a question if he was new and apparently newer than her? This could only mean one thing she was probably a member of the Black Bulls too. "Yeah, I'm new. I assume you're talking about the Black Bulls. Charles replied, politely, despite the lazy personality of his, he usually replies in a polite way to people. It was something it had been taught to him since he was a kid, it was almost impossible to get rid of it. "You are a member of the Black Bulls, I believe? When I saw you I felt like I saw you before, that's probably the best explanation because I don't know many females. Charles sighed and then answered the young woman's question. "My name is Charles, Charles Constantine."
A few moments later he saw the waitress coming to the table with his food, she proceeded to place it on the table serving him what he had ordered. Meat, steamed vegetables, and potatoes. He took a quick bite from the piece of meat, realizing a few seconds later after putting it on his mouth that it tasted pretty good. He kept taking a few others bites from his food, he didn't want the food to get cold. You were able to tell by his face that he was enjoying the food. Whoever mentioned this place wasn't wrong about it, it has good food.
Rosalia would grin at the male when he’d give her permission to join him at the table. Technically, she really didn’t care for the answer, it was more of an rhetorical question anyways. Her smile grew as she noticed his posture and recalled what she was like as a young magic knight. She recalled the way Vulkan had swept through her like a hurricane of fire and changed the way she saw combat and the knights as a whole. Nostalgia spread over Rosalia’s features until she shook her head when the waitress left, staring after her for a brief moment. He was a thing in the past. Someone she never expected to see again.
Turning to face the Black Bull in front of her, she gave him another smile as he littered her with questions, followed by assumptions. “Yeah, I’m a member of the same squad you’re in alright.” She grinned, pleased that he was able to put two and two together. So he wasn’t stupid. How quaint.
Placing her elbow on the table, the beauty leaned closer to inspect the black-haired male with a smirk on her face. She leaned her cheek onto the palm of her hand as she absorbed his facial features in silence. The color of his eyes, the way his lips moved when he talked, how his jaw clenched once in a while. He was cute for his age. But he was too young for her to drag into her bed. In all honesty, other Black Bulls should have a large red “X” over them for “Do not fucking touch” but that train had come and gone… and it was probably one of the wildest rides she’d had.
The woman bit the inside of her cheek and leaned back. “Well, Charles, it’s a pleasure to meet you. I’m Rosalia Boreas.” She introduced herself, actually dipping her head into a small bow. Her ruby eyes met his with polite amusement as she picked up one of the new books she’d bough and went over the writing on its backside again. The witch was quite excited about the read, and probably wouldn’t have minded starting over lunch had it been quieter. “And yeah, I wanted to pay since I don’t know you, and it feels like common courtesy to buy a younger member food.”
She shrugged, leaving the book on the windowsill as the waitress came back with the food and the drinks. The moment Rosalia’s eyes landed on the tea, she reached for the mug and took in its scent with a long whiff. A little pleased moan left her lips as she raised her head to look at the waitress, running one of her hands over her hair to smooth the loose strands back. “That’s amazing. How did you know I like apple and cinnamon?” The model’s head snapped over at the woman with genuine curiosity.
“It’s my favorite, so when you didn’t specify, I-I picked the one I liked.”
Rosalia made sure to note leaving a tip for the waitress as she gave her an honest smile. This woman was doing her job properly. She could probably work in one of the café’s at Rague or Kikka’s luxury restaurants. Good hospitality was hard to find at these parts. Sosshi wasn’t as much of a tourist trap as the other towns within Clover, which made it pleasantly peaceful, but also meant it had significantly less business.
“Thank you. I love your choice. Truly, I do.” The red-haired Black Bull gave the waitress a small smile and nod as she left to tend to her other customers. The place was packed after all. Turning back to Charles, she watched him turn to his food and proceed to begin demolishing it. She, leaned back against her chair and watched him, taking a few steaming hot sips of tea with no problem. Most people who tried that usually ended up with burned tongues or screaming, but her magical affinity tended to turn almost everything colder immediately anyways. Heat was a precious thing that she felt on special occasions. Like a hot mug of tea or good sex.
“You certainly look like you’re enjoying this.” She’d giggle as she placed her mug down and took her fork and knife into her hands. To her, who barely ate and usually got in trouble with her friends for losing too much weight or replacing her meals with a mix of different alcoholic drinks, this guy was a breath of fresh air.
“Tell me a bit about you. Where are you from?” She took a bite of the leanest part of the meat and paused. It really was surprisingly edible. The chef seemed to have done a pretty decent part dissolving the fat strings. “Why’d you join the Bulls?” Her line of though continued after she’d swallowed the bite and leaned back to have a few more sips of the tea while it was hot.

Charles was right, she was a member of the Black Bulls, this made him a bit more comfortable, he was with a fellow squad member so there was no reason for him to be so cautious. He leaned back, at least he could trust this person a bit more since she was a squad member. "Nice to meet you, Rosalia. He said, replying to her. He hasn't interacted a lot previously with any of the other Black Bulls members, so this could be good for him.
He raised an eyebrow with one of Rosalia's statement. Well, she seemed nice to consider buying a younger member of the squad food."Oh? Well, that's nice of your part, thank you. He answered nicely, she was buying him food, after all, he couldn't just all lazy in front of her and certainly had high expectations for the food which kept him motivated. He doesn't think it was something common for other squads or people to do, but he guesses that it's something she does on her own. Not everyone has the same amount of consideration as she does, but this certainly defined to him the type of person she is. He should consider himself lucky to have a senior member who is considerate and nice.
The food had arrived. Charles began to eat from his meat and vegetables. He was enjoying himself, it's not every day he had the chance to eat tasty food like the one he was eating, and the fact that he wouldn't need to pay anything thanks to Rosalia made it even better for some reason. Thanks to her, he will probably be able to save up the money for something he might need in the future. He swallowed his food and replied to Rosalia. "Yeah, the food here is quite good. It was worth getting out of the base to come all the way here. No one knows what would've happened if it weren't the case, he would've probably been annoyed because he wasted his time coming all the way here, not to mention the effort it took him to get up from his room, leave the base and walk all the way here. He only did something if he saw some sort worth in it, if he didn't see any worth in it, it was highly likely he wouldn't do it.
Charles kept on eating but stopped the moment Rosalia asked him a question. He placed his knife and fork down and looked at Rosalia."I come from the Common Region, you know Nairn? I come from there. He replied, but the next question she will change things for him a bit, the moment she asked why did he join the Black Bulls, his voice and facial expression changed slightly. He sounded uninterested or maybe even a bit depressed. "Why did I join the Black Bulls? Well, if I'm honest with you I have no clue how I joined the Black Bulls. I didn't really want to join the Magic Knights, some friends dragged me to the exam with them. I barely even tried, I didn't have intentions on joining the Magic Knights. The only time I wanted to join the Magic Knights was when I was a kid, be a capable Magic Knight and do some change for good, but that was just a foolish dream. His face was monotonous, even though what he was saying was sad. He didn't show any sort of emotion to what he said, it seemed like it was hiding his own true emotions for his and the others good. Afterward, he went back to eating, but his facial expression changed and it seemed like he just too lazy to keep on eating for whatever reason. The atmosphere around them had changed a bit, he went back to eating quietly. She didn't have to know about his stupid dream, does she? He believed it was pointless to keep on going and went back to eating before the food was cold. Why did he just say this a person he just met? He didn't know why he just said that, but he didn't seem to care a lot at this point. His lazy personality was showing a lot more just like it was back in the base.
Rosalia smiled as she watched the tense posture that Charles had taken on at her presence, calm down visibly. When he said that he was also pleased to meet her, she’d wave him off gently. “Please, the pleasure is all mine,” the witch would take another sip of her apple and cinnamon tea, closing her eyes to enjoy the flavors for a few seconds. It was warm and reminded her of the many nights she used to spend alone in her small little hut in Kikka after work. Made her think back to the wonderful fireplace and the books she’d consistently fall asleep with. Those days seemed so far gone…so far away…a distant memory of the young Rosalia who’d wanted to join the Magic Knights with so much passion and believed in the good of people.
A little sigh escaped her lips as she gave the younger Black Bull another smile. She still believed in the “good” of people until proved otherwise, but she’d discovered back in the Diamond war how much harsher the world was…with what ease people died. A painful sentiment that had started the initial ice around her heart. “You’re welcome my dear.” She said, another yawn reaching her from her earlier nap.
A laugh left her lips when he told her that he found the food at this place worth leaving the Black Bulls base for. Then he clearly hadn’t had the meals she’d tasted back in the Royal Capital and Rague. Perhaps it was a simple manner of more expensive ingredients and better paid chefs. “Yes, Sosshi has surprising places to offer once you finally decide to get around and explore it.” Rosalia would agree before taking another bite of the spiced meat and recalling her first morning waking up in the town. It had been, well, she hadn’t exactly known what she was doing or where she was going considering she was too drunk the evening prior to remember how she’d gotten here in the first place. She’d stumbled into a random tavern, hungry as a wild bear, and ordered their best food. Surprisingly, the fish’n’chips the place had offered turned out to be perfect hangover food. The bars around Sosshi weren’t half bad either, considering half of the Black Bulls were basically addicted to alcohol (herself included) and never complained about the quality of the drinks. “Maybe one of these day’s you’d let me give you a proper tour.” The red-head offered with a wink as she picked up her fork again for another bite.
When the black-haired teenager told her that he’d come from Nairn, her mind wandered off as to the place. She’d been there ages ago, before she was a Magic Knight. Her memories were extremely faint and faraway. There was a large church where she’d helped a bunch of children during the Magic Knight Exams, but she’d been high on adrenaline. “I’ve been there briefly once. Not gonna lie though, it’s a very distant memory.”
Her ruby eyes shot over to him with interest when he answered her second question. Charles’ tone had dropped and his energy sagged. His facial expression and entire posture slumped in a way that she barely caught. The older Magic Knight listened to his story in silence, leaning back in her chair and picking up her mug of tea as she took in the knowledge. She watched him, her ice turning cold for a few moments as she scanned him the way she would scan a mana beast. There was something in his tone that she couldn’t quite pinpoint. Something in his words…
“You realize that you got in here because the captain saw something special in you, right?”
For once, Rosalia had dropped the smiles and her expression turned serious. The witch glanced out of the window quietly as she took another sip, as she continued talking. “Captain Watanabe is many things. A drunkard? Sure. A barbarian? Completely. Can he be a cocky prick? Oh, definitely. ” She took another sip and turned back to look at Charles as she mentally continued dissing the man that was in charge of her without really caring for much for the consequences. If one knew Rosa well, they’d actually be able to discern the fact that she actually really liked these qualities in her captain. “Frankly I could list about 50 other qualities that most people would find questionable. But in the end, the man is anything but stupid, and when it comes down to combat, I've heard he’s a monster.”
A part of her was thanking the gods that the man she was talking of wasn’t actually here. He’d never let her live down that she was praising him. And she already had trouble handling his teasing.
“Look, what I’m trying to say is. Dream or no dream, there’s something special in you or about you that needs to be nourished.” Just like with all of the other Bulls. They were considered the squad of outcasts, but they were all talented in their own way.
Shrugging, a smile would return to her lips as she waved over the waitress for another mug of tea as she leaned back against the chair.

So far Charles thought of Rosalia as a good person, she seemed like someone who looked for her fellow comrades, especially the ones who were younger and newer than her. He had a good impression of her, hell she even was nice enough to pay for his food. He had joined the Black Bulls recently and hasn't taken enough time to talk to its members and if he did they were very few. Something he clearly noticed was that they all have something that made them different from other people. Which lead him to the question, what was so different about Rosalia that she ended up in a place like the Black Bulls? She seemed like a normal young woman, who attracts the attention of people with her appearance. He didn't have a particular interest in that kind of thing, but she was capable of attracting the attention of a lot of men, it was shown when she sat down on his table when they first met. It made him curious and felt like asking it, but he decided not to say anything. They just met, it wouldn't be appropriate for him to ask such things, he will probably save that for later and watch for now.
"You could say it has good places, yeah. This restaurant is a good place and has good food. I just decided to come here until now." He took a bite from one of the potatoes. She wasn't wrong at all, which lead to Charles agreeing with her statement, even if he was lazy he couldn't deny the possibility if not the fact that Sosshi can or has other nice places. "Sure, I guess." Charles replied but didn't show a lot of interest in touring the town, by the look of his face and the sound of his voice. He tried to mask it, Rosalia paid for his food and was nice enough to offer him a tour of the town, he was grateful that she was considerate about him, especially since he was new to the squad.
A moment after saying his story to Rosalia he remained quiet, there was a slight change of atmosphere, his face looked a bit emotionless compared to a few minutes ago. As he kept eating from the plate of food, he listened to what Rosalia had to say. She kept on talking about the Captain of the Black Bulls, it seemed like she was insulting to him, but remained quiet, believing she was trying to prove a point. He thought of that before, maybe he ended up in the Black Bulls for something not even he was able to see, this has crossed his mind multiple times, but ignored at cases, hearing it from someone made him feel different. She was right even if a part of him denied it. She looked like she has known Captain Watanabe for a while since she listed a lot of negative traits he has, but despite all of those negative traits, the Captain of the Black Bulls has he was a Captain for a reason no? Aside from being a monster in battle, he was sure there's more than that into it. Just like how Rosalia mentioned that Captain Watanabe saw something special on him, maybe the Wizard King saw something special on him aside from all of the negative traits he has that Rosalia mentioned and that's why he became a Captain, or at least that's how he was able to keep his spot.
Charles looked at Rosalia with a weak smile."Maybe you're right." This made him realize that he wasn't the only one, it applied to everyone in the Black Bulls. He took a last bite from his plate. Everything Rosalia just made him think about a lot of things, but he will have to do that when he's alone, that's the best time where he can think of his own thoughts. Of course from all of those multiple thoughts that were coming through Charles mind at that moment, one of them was the bad traits some members of the Black Bulls had, he hasn't met a lot of them, but the very few did have a specific personality trait that made them different from the rest, but what was Rosalia's personality trait? Being nice and considerate wasn't one, he simply couldn't deduce what was it, maybe he couldn't tell because he didn't know her long enough, maybe he will find out one day.
Another word came from Charles's mouth, with his weak smile."Thank you, Rosalia." This didn't mean it over for him, but it cleared some of his own inner thoughts, but also made him think even more. He might have to talk to Captain Wanatabe at some point.
Rosalia would smile at the male as he agreed to have her tour him around Sosshi. She had been speaking the truth. The place had wonderful bars, a bookstore that always seemed to have every novel she needed and taverns with very nice home-cooked meals. The place was surrounded by a lush forest full of game and mana beasts that had grown accustomed to human interaction of some level. It was more protected than the Blue Roses were in Rague in the sense that one had to find it first before reaching it. Usually, she enjoyed its peace. Teahouses were few, but the herbs used for brewing the magical mana drink were much fresher than what she’d usually had at the Royal Capital. All in all, the red-head wouldn’t complain about Sosshi as a town at all.
It was the easy pickings of male tourist that made her evenings pleasant usually. People didn’t stay in the small town for a long time. It wasn’t a famous historical site or famous for its potions. It would be very calm, in fact, had it not been for the Black Bulls base located right by the city. They did tend to occasionally cause bar fights or have spars that destroyed a building or two…or a whole neighborhood. Her thoughts drew back to the captain once more for a split second before she shook her head.
The witch’s ruby eyes turned back to Charles, snapping herself out of her brief thought process. He’d almost finished his food and chewed in silence, seeming to process her little speech. Rosalia reminded herself, as she met his eyes, that she wasn’t the type to give out speeches. She enjoyed attention, sure, but she did so for her looks, not her content. The woman knew that everything inside of her excluding her moral alignment was spoiled rotten.
“I know I’m right.” The wizardess would mutter as she took a long drink of her tea, swallowing rather loudly as she motioned to the waiter for another one. It wasn’t alcohol, but the thoughts of her past made her wish it was. Had it not been lunch she’d probably have dragged one of the random males from this tavern into a bar to get a drink and then pull him into bed just to forget. Ah, ignorance is pleasure. Ignorance is bliss. She’d read that somewhere, but couldn’t exactly pinpoint which story it had come from. Perhaps it was a philosophical matter, in which case, she wasn’t quite sure what to do with it.
When Charles thanked her, she’d chuckle and shrug.
“No worries hun, we’re all our own little messes when it comes down to the Bulls, but I like to think we pull through shit together.” Rosalia would give the younger male a little wink before picking up the steaming hot mug of tea and practically spilling it down her throat, knowing that it wouldn’t burn her. It was one of the weird little quirks that came with her ice affinity- her ability to be cool off anything she ate or drank. “We all live together, technically, so yanno…you’re family.” She’d smile before raising a hand again and ordering the tab.
The boy seemed to have quieted down after her speech and the way he started looking into one spot for a few seconds meant that she’d probably given him something to think about. In all honesty, Rosalia was worried that he’d gone silent, but she didn’t want to impose further. When someone wanted to sort shit out, they deserved to be given the peace they needed. The red-head had learned as much back when Isabella had suffered an assault to the soul. The girl just wanted to be alone and couldn’t touch anyone for ages. Rosa had actually kept Silas at the front entrance of her house in order to not scare the ex-Azure Deer member.
With a smile, the beauty pulled out some cash from her pocket, enough to cover the bill with tip, and would hand it back to the waiter with a smile. Tipping her mug of tea over until there was nothing left, the woman would wipe her lips and give Charles a quick wave.
“Anyways my dear, I’m not gonna impose upon you too much. Thanks for the company.” Rosalia would nod politely before getting out of her chair, her heels clicking away against the floor till she was almost out of the establishment. “See you around the base.”

A few moments later Charles ended up eating his food without saying a word. All of this time he was thinking and analyzing what Rosalia just said to him, asking himself several questions. All of that was happening in an instant, multiple questions, thoughts, and other things came into his mind at that moment. What Rosalia told him cleared some of his self-doubts, but also it raised more questions. He was curious, but he will need to wait, becoming desperate over such a thing wouldn't end up well. He will have his answers at some point, he just needed to wait.
Charles snaps out of his inner thoughts, he faces Rosalia and gives her a smile. "Heh, I guess you could say that." He laughed slightly, he didn't have a lot to say after what just happened, it was one of the very few times he didn't have a lot to say, mainly due to the fact that he was still thinking about what Rosalia just said. It was still on his mind and it was hard for him not to think about it. "Thanks again."
Afterward, Charles went back to finishing his plate of food. He turned to Rosalia apparently she was leaving now to let him think, which was fine for him. As she stood up from her sit he replied to her. "No, thank you for the company." Her company felt pleasant and it changed the pace of his day, her appearance and company made it feel different. He waved back at Rosalia as she walked away from the table. Soon after she had left the restaurant Charles sighed and stood up from his chair as well. It will be better if he thinks in another place, him coming to eat at the restaurant took more time than he expected, fixing his fringe a bit, he walked away and exited the restaurant.
