Echo and Zeus were snooping around the Shadow Broker headquarters, doing things they really had no business doing. Echo was looking through files that the Collector kept hidden in his office, meanwhile Zeus kept watch making sure they were not to be caught. As Echo looked through the files carefully searching for what he was looking for Zeus would brief look to him and say “Echo? How much longer we look? Me no sure Collector will be happy.” The red headed teen would scoff before closing the folder he was currently looking in before placing the folder inside his shirt.

“Dont worry about it Zeus we are done here. I was able to locate the ‘Potential Assets’ file. Once we go through this we should be able to find the perfect group of mages to help me build this team, all thanks to Shadow Broker.” The two would then leave from the building, and head back to the Jaegar Estate to look over their findings.

After arriving back to the estate preparations were to be made in order to prepare for the meeting that was going to take place. Echo would take his time to read over the files and pick the right candidates for the team, while Zeus would prepare Echo’s new identity. Being someone who was used to using fake identities he was seemingly the perfect person to set up such a thing. He would make Echo a outfit that would fit the role he was going to be playing, the role of an high class noble who wanted to indirectly effect the balance of power within the kingdom.

Such a role was a shameless one, but one that would be needed in order for Echo to be able to unite these rogue mages. One would think one of Echo’s power and skill that such a tactic wouldn’t be needed but he was a nobody within the world, and nobody would be truly willing to follow such a person.

There was now 2 days before the meeting that Echo was planning, so that he could hopefully bring together the rogue forces of the kingdom. Today was the day he would send out Zeus to act as his messenger, going far and wide throughout the kingdom to deliver a message on his behalf to individuals he had picked. Echo knew that security of this matter was of the utmost importance and so he took extreme precautions when having these letters delivered. He had made sure not to write any names in the letter or any other identifying features, for added security he would even write the letter in invisible ink that could only been seen with the use of a magic pen delivered along with the letter.

The letter would include the bare basics, and nothing more in order to keep any confidential information from falling into Magic Knight hands. The letter would read as follows:

“To whom it may concern… Are you tired of living like an outcast? Are you tired of living in the shadows of society? Come and find a new and better life with me. Meet me where the demon’s head rest in fields of green, if you choose to accept my offer. You have 2 days”

[Current Day]

The day had finally come and it was about time for those chosen for the meeting to arrive. Zeus and Echo found themselves right outside the town of Hage not far from the giant demon skull, which would serve as the landmark for the meeting. Zeus was dressed in his normal attire meanwhile Echo would be dressed in a new and much more elaborate outfit, much more elaborate than anything he was used to wearing.

Echo would look to Zeus and said “Cousin how do you think I look? Do I look like a mastermind or what?” The foreigner would stare at Echo for a moment and smile saying “You look ok. I approve!” Echo would take the man’s statements for truth and assume that his outfit wasn’t ‘too much’. The outfit consisted of a purple and black suit with golden trim around it, but the key component was a black ornamental mask which Echo would use to mask his voice and face. After ensuring that he was ready he and Zeus would simply wait in the area around the demon skull, waiting for anybody that received his letter to show up.
