How long has it been? A few months at least. It has been a while since Charles stepped into the town of Sosshi. He had left without very little notice, the only person who knew where he went was the Captain of the Black Bulls, Malcolm, but even then anyone else didn't know where he went. The silver mage had good reasons to go away, personal reasons. He took the decision to leave a while into a question of his own. Self-reflection and improvement, after everything that had happened, he believed that such a choice was the best course of action. This quest took him longer than he initially expected, as he encountered several issues along the way. The Black Bull had grown, both mentally and physically. Of course, his physical appearance was the most notable thing. He grew at least an inch taller, his body figure was toned and his hair was no longer as long as it used to be. Arguably his most notable change, his ponytail was gone. After several months gone, he was finally back and one of the first things he was going to do was to head back to the Black Bulls' Headquarters. He knew very little about the current circumstances of both his squad and the Kingdom. Considering the amount of time he was gone for, he only expected to have missed some things. From what he has seen so far, the Clover Kingdom appeared to be in a good state, it hasn't been taken over by the Daemons. [break][break] Charles stepped into streets the of Sosshi. While he had the choice to go directly to the base, he wanted to stop by and check things around. Additionally, getting something to eat before getting to the base sounded like a good idea to him. As lazy as he was and how he would prefer to not do anything at all, but remain asleep the entire day. The silver mage missed being in Sosshi. He had grown used to living there and obtained a group of people that he could happily call his family. The Black Bull wore a dark blue shirt, black pants, and a black overcoat. After losing his Magic Knight's mantle and found himself unable to replace it. Charles decided to instead go for something different from the mantle he had. "After a while, I'm finally here. God damn... The trip was back was such a pain in the ass, I'll probably not do that again." He sighed, as he looked for a place to get something simple to it, it didn't really matter what it was. Eventually, he found a bakery place and decided to check it out. Entering the place, Charles ordered a piece of freshly baked bread. After getting the piece of bread he ordered, the silver mage exited the bakery. He leaned against a wall right out the bakery to take a bite from his bread. Far from recognizable, it would be surprising if someone actually managed to spot him and knew who he was. Although, it was still a possibility other methods such as mana or Ki could easily give off who he was. Anyway, the Black Bull knew the moment he returned to the base he'll have to catch up with everything that had occurred the last months. Now that he was back, they were a lot of questions that needed to be answered. He was wondering how Malcolm was doing. How the rest of the people he knew were holding up, Suna, Hans, etc... It wasn't something he would dive into too much, he would pay a visit to them whenever it was possible for him. For now, Charles enjoyed his bread after being hungry from that long trip. [break]
Once more, the sound mage found her steps taking her to Sosshi. What could she say? Their little bookstore was such a gem, holding the occasional rare books that could not be found anywhere else. The last time she was here, the bookkeeper had mentioned that he was expecting a new shipment of books soon, and that was the reason why she was here. The slight chance of possibly finding an old manuscript was motivating enough for her to travel all the way here to the Forsaken Region.
Not much has happened the last few months, saved for an exceptionally special event that had just recently occurred. A small smile appeared on the elf's delicate features, her azure eyes softening into a dreamy state. A particular man had awakened all sorts of emotions in her, ones that she never thought she had. It had not been an easy or smooth journey, but after meeting him, her life had been forever changed. Now, she could not imagine life with her beloved.
Suna was so buried in her thoughts and destination, she almost walked right past him...if she had not sensed something familiar about the man leaning against the wall. His mana signature was...familiar.
"Wait..." She did a double take. "Huh?" She leaned forward and squinted. Recognition dawned in her clear blue eyes, then lit up with joy. "What...how...you..." She was gesturing with her hands at him, obviously confused yet also glad to see the silver mage. The last time she saw him was a few months ago, at the tree lighting event in Babel.
"Charles! How are you doing?" Suna finally settled on a cohesive sentence. Then she laughed merrily. "I almost didn't recognize you! Where have you been? I haven't seen you for a good while. Where's your Magic Knight mantle?" She was not used to seeing him without his tell-tale black mantle. Then she waved her hands again, allowing him the freedom to choose not to answer. "A long story, I'm sure. Did you just get back?"
She took a step back, appraising the young man before her. "Goodness, just look at you..." She gave a few nods of approval. "You've definitely grown." Not only was he taller, he also looked slightly different. Gone was the ponytail and dilly-dallying demeanor. He looked and acted less like a boy and more like a man. More...mature. Yes, that was the word.
A slightly mischievous smile played about her lips, but the blue-haired woman did not say what was on her mind. Not yet. There would be plenty of time for that later. But for now, she stopped talking for a minute so Charles could actually get a word in.

Charles continued peacefully munching his freshly baked bread at the outside of the bakery. Suddenly, he stopped as he felt a familiar Ki signature approaching him. The familiar signature clearly got his attention as it was someone he was very familiar with. Just before he knew it the person was already close to him. The silver mage turned around to look at the blue-haired elf and raised his hand, waving back at her. Just by looking at her face, he was able to tell that she seemed surprised. Well, that was to be expected given how they haven't seen each other in months. "Yo, Suna... It's been a while, I'm doing alright, you?" He spoke in his normal laid-back voice tone, as expected, anyway it clearly has been a while since she has seen her. Charles was also curious about what she was up to and given how he was ignorant about what had happened in the last few months, maybe she could give him a brief rundown about anything of importance. "...Huh? Really, do I really look that different? Well... It's a long story. I decided to embark on a journey of my own outside the Kingdom. As for my Magic Knight mantle, it got ripped off during my journey. Yeah, I just decided to make a stop at Sosshi before heading back to the base." He let out a small laugh towards the end, considering how long he was gone, it wouldn't be surprising if Captain Malcolm just decided to think he died or refused to come back because he was too lazy to do. The latter was somewhat accurate. [break][break] The silver mage was clearly oblivious to the change in his appearance, for him his only change was his haircut, but it seemed like Suna noticed more than that. The blue-haired elf clearly appeared to as some sort of older sister looking at her younger brother all grown up after not seeing him for a while, which was probably the most accurate description. "Well... If you say so, then I guess you're right." He nodded and smiled back at her, he was definitely glad of seeing her again, alive and well. The Kingdom was in danger despite things looking significantly peaceful to him. A threat like the Daemons, something he witnessed with his own eyes was hardly going to be eliminated in the amount of time he was gone. "Anything important happened while I was gone? Something I must know or whatever? Since you're here, it will be nice to get a brief rundown of what I missed if possible." Well aware that Suna's knowledge was limited, they were high chances that she knew a lot of things he didn't know about. Charles was practically ignorant of everything that had occurred in the last months he was gone for. Plus, he had time for some chit-talk, not like anyone would care if he's a few hours late to the base given the fact that almost nobody knows he's back. [break]
"Yo, Suna... It's been a while, I'm doing alright, you?"
His looks might have changed, but his voice has not. "Also doing well, though you look like you need a good bath." She said mischievously, eyeing pointedly at his traveler's outfit. Of course, there were still traces of his laid back personality, but not as much now as before. At least in her perspective. The young Black Bull knight had become somewhat of a younger brother to her, and she felt so proud to see him progress in this journey of maturity. She could also feel that he has gotten stronger, compared to the last time they met.
"...Huh? Really, do I really look that different? Well... It's a long story. I decided to embark on a journey of my own outside the Kingdom."
"You look...older now. In a good way." The elf made a little noise of approval. "Your own journey, hmm? Sounds like you've grown up in more ways than one." It sounded like it was a personal matter, so she did not pry too much into the reasoning behind his temporary leave. She would guess, however, that it might be linked to the events and his experiences in Kikka. Such dark happenings like that were never easy to recover from, especially if the wounds were not just physical.
"As for my Magic Knight mantle, it got ripped off during my journey. Yeah, I just decided to make a stop at Sosshi before heading back to the base."
"Glad to see you back safe and sound, though." She said sincerely. "And I'm sure your squad would be glad to see you back as well." Then he asked about what had been going on.
"Have you heard about the upcoming Royal Knight Exams?" She did not know how much the silver mage had been brought up to date on current events, but that was a fairly major competition. There have been other things that have been causing unrest in the kingdom, and knights and civilians alike have been called to participate. She herself had seriously considered joining, but in the end, held back.
"Hans and the people who had been sent to defeat the daemons in Kikka successfully finished their objectives. So much destruction, though." Suna shook her head sadly. War was never without its tragedies and wounds, unfortunately. "But apparently, there has been news about other daemons, so I guess that's why the exams are being held right now. Hopefully we get some official announcements soon, as rumors say that the Witch Queen might have something to do with it. Rumors, but it still makes one think..." She was only repeating what was said on the streets, though she had more reason to care than the standard Clover citizen.
"Do you think you would participate in those exams? Hans said he might. Oh!" A big smile lit up on her face. There was something else she also had to share, something very important and special that has happened in the midst of all these dark events. "Speaking of which, guess what happened?" It was here she would lift her left hand up, so the silver mage could see what was glittering on her ring finger...

Charles nodded in acknowledgement to her comment. He needed that, but more importantly, he needed a break from that long trip after he arrived back at the base. "That and... Sleep like a rock for the rest of the day when I get to the base." Taking a small break before missions and jobs related to his duty as a Magic Knight began knocking on the door. Although he could hardly see any change in himself, Suna's claims were right. His face looked much more mature and maybe his choice of clothing was a bit more fitting than his previous one, at least for a Magic Knight, no? Either way, the silver mage wasn't into fashion much like a good portion of the nobles did. "Good thing you're confirming that I at least don't look like an old, otherwise that would be concerning." The blue-haired elf was correct about that part, after all that was the purpose behind his journey and why he was absent for all this time. By the way, Suna acted and looked at him, then it appeared that such a journey paid off. If someone he knew very well was able to see such a significant change in both his attitude and appearance then the time spent was worth it. [break][break] "I'm sure... I wouldn't be surprised if the Captain was under the impression I wasn't going to come back whether because I died or because I was too lazy to come to Kingdom." He joked, although fully aware that Malcolm was most likely one of the main people awaiting his return. The Captain of the Black Bulls had become something like a father figure to him, so it was a fact that the man was awaiting his return, even though he never gave a specific time or date. "Royal Knight Exams?" Such comment really took his attention, as a Magic Knight he was fully aware of what the Royal Knights were but was not aware of the exams taking place. Chances were that the competitions were high, with high-ranking members of all squads participating for a shot to get into the Royal Knights. It was an organization called upon in times of emergency and it was compromised of the most powerful mages within all the Magic Knight squads. "That explains it... They only call upon the Royal Knights in times of need. Which means that something big is going to happen soon. The Daemons... Sounds like things haven't changed much, or well maybe they got worst." The daemons were still a threat as big as ever, and re-assemble of the elite squad, the Royal Knights meant that something was going to happen soon. The silver mage didn't know what it was, but it wouldn't be surprising if they wanted to launch an offensive towards the daemons to make up for the losses in all the three cities almost a year ago. [break][break] "Hans plans on participating? That's unusual of him, but I guess Kikka did change him... When we first met I asked him if he was ever interested in joining the Magic Knights instead of just being a mercenary. He expressed no interest in joining, but it seems something changed..." Charles was taken by surprise about the revelation of the dark mage's desire to participate in the exams and possibly become a Royal Knight. It was something unusual, given how when they first met he asked Hans if he was interested in joining the Magic Knights and the mercenary didn't express any particular interest in doing so. The call of duty had probably reached Hans by now, given how he had experienced the capabilities of the daemons with his own eyes. "I'll pass on the chance of joining... I have other things to worry about... The first thing I'm doing when I get to the base is demanding a bigger paycheck. In the shape and form of becoming the next Vice-Captain." The silver mage's goals were quite different from the rest as he had come back with the desire of taking the position of the Vice-Captain of the Black Bulls and of course, getting a bigger paycheck. "Hmm?" Charles looked at the ring on Suna's finger, which meant only meant one thing. He wasn't an idiot when it came to that, he was fully aware of it. Through the use of Ki, he was able to feel the increase in joy from the blue-haired elf's part. Probably the only good news he has received in all the day and the silver mage was quite happy about it. After all, he was getting tired of just getting bad news, it was good to have good news for a chance. "Congratulations, Suna!" He said, grabbing her arms and pulling her into a hug, a quite unusual gesture on his part. But, after having to deal with the amount of darkness and sadness that plagued the Kingdom with the threat of the daemons there was a bit of light. In the form of the engagement of Hans and Suna. Charles could be seen smiling over the union of his two friends. "Good thing he did it, otherwise I would've started asking myself when he was going to do it." [break]
The sound mage almost laughed aloud at Charles' comment about his looking old. Instead, she quipped with a lighthearted "A youngster like yourself? There is no way you could age that fast." It was not to say that growing up was a negative thing, but there were certain virtues in keeping bits and pieces of child-like innocence. Some may call it naiveté, but those who possessed that pure charm saw the world in a different and beautiful light. Then again, seeing his maturity after such a journey was also an eye-opener.
"What kind of captain wouldn't be glad to see one of his squad members come back? Regardless, I'm glad to see you back." Suna smiled warmly. "You look like you lost weight though...wherever you were, they obviously didn't feed you enough, or you didn't eat enough." She tsked in mock severity.
With that, she briefly stepped into the bakery that they were just outside of and came back out with a bag in her hand. "Here. I know you just had something but here are a few more pastries and breakfast for tomorrow. Come over to my house next time and I'll cook you a proper meal. You can't get stronger without food." With that brief interruption, they resumed their conversation, which turned to the Royal Knight Exams.
"Indeed." She nodded somberly at Charles' comments about the daemons. "Apparently the daemons in Kikka were not the only ones left, and I suppose with how Sven so boldly attacked us, the others thought it was time to act as well. Or perhaps he was just the first piece on the chessboard to move after the Shattering." She mused aloud. They may have initially won the most recent battle, it seemed like this was only the beginning of a much bigger war. Just how big was this going to become?
"The squads and knights are always getting stronger, are they not? With mages like you and Hans, I think Clover Kingdom would be well protected against any type of invasion, be it daemon or enemy kingdoms." Her tone gave off a confidence that she herself did not know nor understood, but sometimes it all boiled down to faith and trust in her fellow countrymen. There were many other things she thought about, but some things would be left unsaid, but mutually understood.
"Mhmm, there were some changes..." Suna murmured, agreeing with the silver mage about her partner's difference. "As did you..." She remembered when the first round at Kikka ended and how both male mages were affected. The dark aura had continued to linger among those who had experienced the horrors there, and even Hans had come out with a sworn promise to make things right the second time he went back.
"Other things to worry about? Like what?" Her question was soon answered. "A bigger paycheck I can understand...but oh my, vice captain of the Black Bulls?" She tilted her head. Charles had definitely changed. He had a goal now. "Good for you! That means I won't be seeing you that much anymore, so you definitely have to come visit and let me fatten you up before you start working your butt off. Ah, that also means you would be on the same level as Lydia, no? I look forward to that." Then she laughed merrily. "You best not forget about some of us small people once you become all strong and famous!" And with that, they turned to happier topics.
"Thank you!" Her smile beamed like a ray of sunshine as she received his congratulations, and even more so when the tall mage pulled her into a hug. "You're invited, of course. Should I send the invitation to the Black Bulls base? We're not planning anything big, so only you are invited. Oh, but you can bring someone if you'd like." Her smile turned almost wicked. "Preferably, a female...though I'm sure you'll have no end of admirers once you become vice captain, hmm?"

His remark was merely a joke, although it would truly be concerning if that was the case. Considering his age such changes were expected as Charles was still going through his teenage years. "Pretty much... Otherwise it would be weird." While it was hard to say that the silver mage had any sort of child-like innocence, especially after what occurred in Kikka. He still had a long way ahead of him. His sudden growth and change in appearance after he was gone was a sign of his maturity. From a child to man ready to take on bigger responsibilities that involved becoming the Vice-Captain of the Black Bulls and at some point in the future, a Magic Knight Captain. It was a process and Charles was going through that, Suna was just one of the many people who saw his growth. "That's true... Yeah, feels good to be back after gone for a while." He nodded to her which was followed by a remark as to how he has lost weight, even though it's not like he was exactly a guy who had much fat on him before anyway. Normally, he didn't bear in mind such things, but it was indeed true. The blue-haired managed to somehow notice even that, the quality of food was much more scarce while he was gone. Every now and then he had to hunt food around the place. "Well... I guess that's true..." They were somedays spent were he didn't eat breakfast or lunch, which contributed to his weight loss. The silver mage's eyes widened as she came out with a bag with several pastries and told him that he could eat that for later today and tomorrow morning. "Huh... Thanks, Suna." A grin formed on his face upon hearing Suna was willing to cook him a proper meal in his house. Just as soon as he had some time to do so he wouldn't mind crashing onto her house faster than lightning. "Just tell me when and I'll get some time... I wouldn't think twice about crashing in order for you to treat me to some food... Looking forward to it. Food? Especially from Suna? Oh boy... He wanted to see how good her cooking skills were. Like an older sister treating her younger brother after she just got back home, huh... [break][break] "Yeah... If I'm correct with the defeat of the three daemons a few months ago. Only three Archdaemons remain... This means that they are the last ones. Although one of them is Asmodeus, the Time Magic Daemon responsible for the Shattering." He didn't know the details nor how strong the other daemons were, but it was possible they were as strong or stronger than the previous daemons. Asmodeus was also between them, the daemon that had access to Time Magic and was the reason why the Shattering occurred. If the Royal Knights played their cards right and defeated the last three Archdaemons then it would put an end to the daemon threat to the Clover Kingdom, an end to the war... The next upcoming battle was likely going to be much tougher than what they had faced in Kikka. "That's some nice optimism you have, huh... Well, hopefully, it stays that way." Suna really had a lot of faith in Hans and him, which was reassuring. Despite his laid-back and a rather lazy personality when it came to many things, deep inside thoughts of self-doubt lingered. The blue-haired elf's comment was reassuring and gave him some confidence. [break][break] "Possibly... I'll still be able to do my own thing, just additional work... Don't worry, I'll probably manage to sneak out every now and then like I always do." A professional slacker, even as a Vice-Captain, nothing or no one would stop him from sneaking out and paying a visit to Suna. Although, he couldn't take on the test with his current shape. Time was needed for him to prepare for the fight, if he was going to take on the test it was because he was going to win and become the Vice-Captain. "That's even more reason as to why I should go there soon. Well same rank, yes, but in terms of strength, not really. Lydia is one of the strongest mages in the Kingdom. I'm still far from reaching that level of strength." Certainly, becoming a Vice-Captain was a step-up, but he still had a long way to go in terms of ability, experience, and power compared to the other veteran and high-ranking members inside the entire Magic Knights. Well, as for fame, it was not something he was particularly interested in nor did he really care about all of those things. "Yeah, the base works... A female? Don't get your hopes up on that... I'm pretty sure the Black Bulls don't get that many admirers. If I was from the Golden Dawn or something, then yeah..." Not like he particularly expected any admirers upon becoming Vice-Captain, especially when you were the Vice-Captain of the Black Bulls. Nobody would be interested in them, at least most people wouldn't because of their reputation. If it was a squad with a better reputation then most definitely. It wasn't the case for the Black Bulls, though, and he didn't mind that.
"Good." Suna was pleased. At this point, Charles was almost like the younger brother she never had. Of course, he physically towered over her petite frame, but it was the dynamic these two shared that made it seem like family. Family? That was something she had never really had, but always yearned for. Miraculously, the people around her were slowly filling in those gaps, as if they were the ones meant to be.
"And if you ever need a place to sleep at night and don't have anywhere else to go..." Here she stretched her arms out with her invitation to the silver mage. "...my home is open to you anytime." Though her humble abode was not the biggest place, there was room aplenty for two or three guests if it ever came down to that. It was also slightly secluded, away from the main hustle and bustle of the nearby town. Come to think of it, she has only had a few people over to her house—that was something she would have to change soon. She had been learning the ways of playing hostess, and it was quickly becoming a delight and joy to her. Not to mention, all the years of living by herself had provided her ample time to hone not only her skills in magic, but also skills in the kitchen.
Now the topic turned to something more somber. The elf nodded slowly as Charles voiced his concerns. It was difficult knowing what was fact from fiction nowadays, especially with the numerous rumors and whispers around in the streets of Clover. Some were definitely absurd, while others were more plausible. Either way, she would be glad to get more news from a reliable source; that is, after the Magic Knight returned to his base and became caught up in the latest happenings and details on events.
"Optimism? More like facts." She stated, pursing her lips. She had faith in her friends. She has seen them in action, and has watched them improve. As long as they and the rest of the kingdom stayed together, she had no doubt that had a very good chance of ridding the daemons once and for all. Of course, no one knew the full breadth of what was going on, but from her perspective, they can and will triumph in the end.
"Speaking of which, do you have an idea of when you're going to be challenging your squad's current vice captain?" It would doubtless be a very interesting fight. Not something one saw every day. "And what kind of preparations would you need to do?" She asked curiously, not exactly sure what it all entails. "Aside from becoming stronger in your magic, are you also required to complete certain tasks or such?" It was, after all, a promotion in status and position, and those rare came without some solid background conditions.
"Mmm, yes yes." Just an upgrade in position did not necessarily mean that power and strength was the same all across the board. Lydia came up—whether one liked or disliked to admit it, the female mage was definitely on a different level of her own. As for the Black Bulls, Suna was well aware of what type of reputation they held. "Still, as long as you attract the right kind of attention..." her voice faded off as she thought about it. Looks like the best way was still for her to introduce the young man to a girl she deems suitable. That still would not be for a while, however.
"Hmm would a picnic or something more casual be better than a mixer?" She thought aloud. "Well, either way, I'm glad that you're back! Shall I send the wedding invitation to the Black Bulls base?" Then lowered her voice. "Hans and I don't want anything too big or fancy, but only you are invited, so don't come bringing the entire squad in!"

After his parents died, he was mostly left alone with his job as a Magic Knight. This of course was one of the reasons why Charles was so lazy and unmotivated during his early days as a Magic Knights. Attempting to find his purpose and truly believed that any sort of attempt was useless. However, that started to change with the friendships and bonds he made with people and finally obtained a sense of purpose. It wasn't fame or glory, but doing the right thing and protecting the people he cared for. It's not like he was the type of person to care about such things since it involved significant effort. The dynamic and the relationship Charles and Suna shared was comparable to two siblings. While he didn't show it a lot, he cared a lot for Suna, and the rest of the people he made bonds with. The silver mage rarely showed his true emotions, very few people were lucky to witness it. The conversation followed by the blue-haired elf offering her home in case he had nowhere to stay during certain circumstances. "I see... I'll keep that in mind, if I ever feel like I have to slack off then I'll come by and say hello." Of course, he wasn't always going to come by there to slack off, but maybe every now and then when we had nothing better to do? He didn't feel like constantly invading her privacy or her home since he already had the Black Bulls' Headquarters to stay, it would only be if he really has to or in case there's some sort of emergency. Regardless, he appreciated her offer. [break][break] "It would probably much worse than the Vice-Captain, hah... It would be the Captain, the previous Vice-Captain stepped down while I was away so the Captain would be the one performing my test." The Captain of the Black Bulls was powerful and he possessed Beast Aura Magic, so he had to keep an eye out for his physical attacks. "Training and think of ways to not get my ass kicked by my Captain. If we have no Vice-Captain then that means the Captain would be the one doing the test. Of course, I know he would hold back, but he's also going to ensure that I have enough strength to have the rank of Vice-Captain. I'll eventually force him to retire, though... He needs to call it a day and relax." Charles commented about the details of the test, as for forcing him to retire he was referring to taking up the position of Captain in order to allow Malcolm to peacefully retire. He had been a Captain for a while and it was time for him to move on with his life and do more enjoyable things. The silver mage could take it from there when he was capable enough. Although when he does that then he would likely be the youngest person to hold the rank of Captain inside the Magic Knights. Everything would come in time. [break][break] "I guess so..." He replied to her comment, although he wasn't confident that being the Vice-Captain of the Black Bulls would give him make people love him. It was a known fact that the previous Wizard King formed part of the Black Bulls, so maybe it wouldn't be that bad? It was hard to tell, but it's not something he would lose sleep on. No matter how much time passed, Suna didn't forget about her intentions of a mixer. Although, that aside a picnic sounded a lot better. Charles wasn't very good when it came to formal events and normally avoided them unless he had a good reason to go to them like food. "That actually sounds better, yeah. The base works and don't worry I wouldn't invite any of those guys, rather not to anyway. I don't want them to be a pain in the ass for you guys or myself. Anyway, it's getting late..." The Black Bull let out a sigh, after all, he had a long day and he wanted to get some rest after reporting back to the Captain of his arrival. He was glad to see Suna after so much time had passed. "It was nice seeing you after a while. Anyway, I look forward to going to your wedding. Tell Hans I say hello." He said before waving at Suna and making his way towards the base. Saying goodbye to the blue-haired elf until they encountered again. [break][break] [Exit Thread] [break]
The elf nodded in amusement when Charles mentioned him slacking off and visiting her. On one hand, she would highly doubt the silver mage would actually be able to take any time off once he reached such a position in the squad...but on the other hand, it would fall perfectly within his personality to do so regardless. He explained some details about the test, helping her understand more what it was all about. "I see, I see. Best of luck to you, Charles. I'm sure you'll do great!" Then she laughed. "And let me know if you ever need a sparring partner who can also heal you back up."
As for the wedding, Suna could only blush shyly like a smitten schoolgirl whenever she mentioned her fiancée. "I'll pass along your hello to him, and if there's any dessert you want to eat in particular, you'd better let me know by the end of this week!" Instead of just waving goodbye, she went up and gave Charles a quick hug. "It's so great to see you back, Charles. Take care and see you soon!"
