If there is one thing the Rogues do not need, it is infighting among themselves. Within the Rogue’s Refuge, there are a lot of people who come to go about their business, whether it is buying and selling on the black market, making some shady deals or planning where to strike in order to get a good haul. Obviously, this may lead to the formation of groups or gangs, and when such gangs start fighting among themselves, the fallout it causes is extremely bad for business. As such, the Agent of Avarice has put a bounty on the heads of two rival gang leaders, hoping that taking them out will cause the rest of them to scatter or better, to align with the Agent instead. Believing this will create stability within the refuge, only capable, proven men and women are to be hired.

They are dressed in fancy, expensive clothing, proving their benefactor is quite wealthy and good to their own.

The first enemies that need to be taken outcome in the form of a gang known as the Twin Dragons, who are actually being led by the twins Nishida and Uchino. Being the gang that seems to be the most violent and provocative, the Agent believes it wise to take them out of the equation before dealing with the other group. As such, you are to find a way into the compound and get rid of their watchdogs along the way as they are eager to sound the alarm and bring the full might of the Twin Dragons down upon the interlopers.

Maximum Number of Players: 3 [break]Minimum Word Count: 2500 [break]Location: Rogue’s Refuge [break]Special Requirements: Enter the Twin Dragons compound, find a way to get to where the twin leaders are and make sure you’re not seen as you approach. If you do get seen, quickly kill and hide the body of the watchdogs before more Dragons are alerted to your presence, causing the compound to get locked down and all of the Twin Dragons to come down for a fight. If this happens, the mission is considered an automatic failure as it will cause a ton of damage to the Rogue’s Refuge, which is obviously bad for business.

Aside from just making loud noises, they can also create soundwaves that can make your ears bleed while causing concussive damage upon impact. [break]Additional Information: Acting as the eyes and ears of the Twin Dragons gang, their main goal is to guard certain areas and make sure no one manages to slip through to their leaders. Dressing in black clothing with yellow dragons decorating them, it is quite clear to see which gang they belong to.

Having passed the watchdogs and making your way into the compound, you face the twin dragon leaders, Nishida and Uchino. Instead of being scared or wondering why you have arrived unannounced, they actually welcome you with open arms and ask that you fight them to the best of your abilities. Ever eager to prove their own skill in the battle against other well-versed combatants, it is not that hard for you to understand why the Agent of Avarice believed these two were the reason why the Twin Dragons were such a provocative and violent lot.

Health Limit: Senior [break]Physical Speed: 12 m/s [break]Physical Damage: Senior [break]Magic Element and Types: Silver | Attack Creation | Defense Creation [break]Combat Style: Nishida uses a form of silver magic that basically allows him to freely manipulate a mass of liquid silver for the sake of forming protective shields or creating offensive spikes and tendrils with which to pierce his enemies and their defences. Capable of merging his liquid silver with Uchino’s magic, they are a powerful pair of adversaries when together, but less so when split up. [break]Additional Information: Nishida is a man with an oriental complexion, a mohawk and two dragon tattoos running from his back across his shoulders and to his hands. Wearing only black slacks, a yellow belt and black sandals, he is quite an interesting sight to behold, especially in contrast to his sister Uchino.
Health Limit: Grand [break]Physical Speed: 10 m/s [break]Physical Damage: Grand [break]Magic Element and Types: Gold | Restraining | Defense Creation | Hex and Curse [break]Combat Style: Utilizing a form of gold magic that allows her to freely manipulate a mass of liquid gold for the sake of creating protective shields, creating restraining tendrils or constructs or attaching itself to people and their grimoires to keep them from freely casting as much magic as before, she is capable of merging with Nishida’s liquid silver magic. Together, they are quite powerful, mixing and matching attacks, defences and restraining methods through which they can overcome most other ragtag crews of enemies. [break]Additional Information: Though similar in the face, Uchino has a much more businesswoman type of vibe. Wearing a black pantsuit, she wears her hair up in a knot with a yellow bow and actually wearing high heels on which she can sprint while remaining as elegant as ever.

Shortly after defeating the Twin Dragons and venturing out of the compound, leaving the bodies for the rest of the gang to be found, you are to go towards the next compound belonging to the gang known as Lucifers Fang. Being vastly different from the Twin Dragons, Lucifers Fang is basically one massive compound where the members come together for the sake of worship and sacrifice, followed by excessive drinking and partying. Because their leader is a self-proclaimed apostle of the underworld and “The Devil”, his followers are not easily swayed. As such, it is required that a lot of them are taken out within the compound before turning to their leader, a man who has come to call himself “Lucifer”.

Name of NPC: Lucifers Fang Initiate (3x per Player)
Health Limit: Intermediate [break]Physical Speed: 5 m/s [break]Physical Damage: Intermediate [break]Magic Element and Types: Ash | Sensory | Attack Creation [break]Combat Style: These initiates fight using daggers that were made to look like ancient sacrificial weapons, but are clearly knockoffs. Utilizing their ash magic to create screens that lower the vision of the enemy while creating some cover for their own, they can also solidify the ash into projectiles to shoot holes into their enemies. [break]Additional Information: Like the rest of Lucifers Fang, these initiates all wear brown robes and poorly painted red demon masks that were meant to look scary but don’t really strike fear into the hearts of anyone. Along with the so-called ancient ceremonial daggers, they stand out from a crowd rather well. If enough Lucifers Fist members die, these initiates will choose to run rather than fight.
Health Limit: Senior [break]Physical Speed: 5 m/s [break]Physical Damage: Senior [break]Magic Element and Types: Shadow | Attack Creation | Sensory | Healing [break]Combat Style: Utilizing their daggers for close-ranged combat and their shadow magic for the sake of locating their enemies while obscuring themselves, they can also use the darkness to heal their own wounds to some degree, making it easier for them to get up close and personal. They can also form the shadows into offensive constructs to attack from mid to long-range. [break]Additional Information: Like the rest of Lucifers Fang, these more hardened members all wear brown robes and poorly painted red demon masks that were meant to look scary but don’t really strike fear into the hearts of anyone. [attr="class","shadowsHead"] A Date with the Devil
With most of his fighters taken out and the initiates running for dear life, the way to the leader of Lucifers Fang is clear. When you wander into his abode, you notice all manner of occult relics, idols, weapons and more that clearly find their origin in the kind of religious practices that do not take place within the church of clover. Among this reliquary room stands a large throne, a red carpet leading from it to the door and two braziers located on either side. Upon the throne sits the man calling himself Lucifer, leader of Lucifers Fang.

Doing so on top of getting rid of Lucifer will clearly increase your standing with him/her.

When that is not enough, he can also form glacial walls to protect himself and his people before using it as a foundation from which to fire sharp shards of ice with deadly precision. [break]Additional Information: Ever since certain events took place in the land of clover, the man now calling himself Lucifer lost his mind over the notion of demons. Believing that their power was greater than anything in the land, he began hoarding power and started coveting strange relics and idols, eventually calling himself Lucifer and starting a gang that doubled as a rather half-assed demonic cult. If nothing else, however, the man did manage to get himself a rather impressive and expensive hoard.
