The Jaegars were a family built on the foundations of hunting and charity work, with their name holding more weight among commoners than their fellow nobles. With the magic knight exams coming about soon Echo would be training out in the forest surrounding Hage, due to the fact he had been basically forced to join the exams to avoid jail time for a petty street brawl. The fact that he did not even cause the brawl made the fact he had to endure the horrid exams even worse. However as the heir to House Jaegar, he knew he could not place shame on the family and so he would commit himself to this task.
As the night sky took a hold on the land Echo would leave the forest and make his way into the small village, so that he could stay the night at an inn. Although the place was small and cramped it was no problem for a Jaegar, as they had been taught to be humble and to feel humility since a young age. As Echo walked into the small inn and tavern that was called “Hage Inn & Tavern”, he would begin talking to the clerk trying to check in to get a room. “Hello yes I need a room for tonight please, anything you have available is fine.” The clerk would look to the male aiming a smile at him saying “Sure sir that will be….” He would stop his speech as he would look at Echo and his ring he kept on his finger, as the ring was given to the heir of the Jaegar family. The man would look to Echo saying “Actually sir are you from the Jaegar family? If so you can have the room for free, but may I ask a small favor of you? I know its late but there is a matter that needs to be addressed for our small village and it appears the magic knights are too busy to help us.”
Echo would raise a brow at the man before smiling in a goofy manner and scratching the back of his head. He would look to the man saying “Umm sure what’s the problem? And no no I must insist that I pay for this room. I know you gotta make a living some how.” The clerk would then say to Echo “Oh thank you kind sir of house Jaegar!” The man sounded like he was going to continue to speak but Echo would cut him off by waving his hands in a rapid no motion saying “No no no, no need for the formalities and such just call me Echo…. So go ahead and tell me what it is those lame magic knights won’t do for you kind people out here.” The man would clear his throat before carrying on saying “I apologize Echo… However we need help locating some of our missing villagers, with one of those villagers was my younger sister… She is only 15 years old and just received her grimoire a few weeks ago. I don’t believe wherever she is she will be able to keep herself safe under such conditions. She is the 5th person to go missing in the past two weeks. So I please ask that you find her Echo, and I will forever be in your debt!”
Echo would scratch on his chin for a few short seconds before letting off a grin saying “Sure why not, I’ll find your village’s people and your sister. Also no need to be in my debt. If you know of my family then you know we do what we do out of the kindness of our hearts, and nothing but your thanks when the job is done will be required.” The man would begin to cry and sob tears of joy, but in a very comedic fashion. He would then say to the red head “Oh thank you Echo!” The red head male would then turn around and walk out the door waving the clerk farewell as he went on to find the missing people.
[attr="class","posiescroll"] Posie accepted a mission while on his way except animation while on his way to the Magic Knight Exam location known as Kekka. He figured that the best practices would be to accept any missions that were available so that he could gain a bit of experience with the main source of earning money within the Clover Kingdom. It would appear that on this day he was given an opportunity to make quite a tidy sum of money, so long as he solved a mystery of sorts. He doubted that such a task would take all that long, however he had been surprised in the past. Things were not always as simple as they first appeared and sometimes fate was not on his side. [break][break] It was no matter however, Posie wanted to gain a reputation for himself before he became an official member of one of the Magic Knight Squads. Given the fact that he had shown an interest in a Azure Deer, the squad that was known for their high level of skill in regards to espionage, it would be best to make sure he had the abilities that matched up with the ideology of the squad itself. Although he had not accomplished a great deal yet, he knew that he had a lot of potential when it came to utilizing his magic abilities. All he truly needed was one moment to prove to himself that he had What it took to live up to his family name in his own way. [break][break] His mind drifted to the task at hand. Individuals were starting to disappear near the woods near this small, nearly idyllic town and it was clear that whatever was causing the disappearances was now starting to actually affect the town of the whole. That was probably the reason that the young woman he met at the stable outside of the village seemed so desperate. He accepted his role and showed no hesitation and told the woman that he would help her. It was going to be an annoying mission to be sure, however he knew that if he worked hard enough he would be able to achieve his goal in a manner that was supposed to be quick and efficient. Though such a realization wouldn't do him any good. [break][break] At least until he applied his rationale practically. [break][break] As he was not yet a member of the Magic Knights, his attire gave off the impression that he was a simple commoner. He didn't believe in wearing finery wherever he went. Especially since that would increase the rate in which he would encounter thieves, robbers, and pickpockets. He wore sack pants with leg wraps that went from his knees down to his feet. Those very same feet are situated in a pair of sandals as well. He had a single back slung over his shoulder, dangling off his forest green jerkin. He didn't bother with any make up save for his guyliner and his hair was wild and unkempt. He looked exactly like a commoner, just one that had two toned hair. [break][break] As he made his way through the town he'd catch a glance at a man whose hair seemed to be soaked in blood. Although he was not someone that usually spent a lot of his time conversing with others, do you know this was probably the one chance he had to get more information on the subject. Plus it seemed as though this man might have had a bit more information given that he didn't dress like a hobo. [break][break] "Excuse me, you wouldn't happen to know if anyone is missing from this town. If you do, would you know the best location to start an investigation?. I'm not a magical knight, but I promised I'd help out.” There was a strong look of sheer determination on his face.

Shortly after Echo had left from the small inn, he would be approached by a male with two toned hair. The man was dressed in a similar fashion to most commoners however the color of his hair was certainly an off putting factor. The noble had never encountered a commoner with hair done in such a fashion, mostly because the commoners never wanted to give nobles more of a reason to identify them or pick them from a crowd. When the young man approached he would ask Echo if he had heard anything about the missing people in the area. *This guy is looking for them too? How interesting.* he thought to himself. He didn’t have any information he could give the male, especially since he two was working to find these same people. Of course such a thing wasn’t a competition but Echo truly didn’t have any info to give the male.
Echo would look the male in the eyes before saying “Nah haven’t heard anything about them, however im here also looking for them. Maybe we can work together on this? They say that two heads working on a solution is better than one….” His words would drag off as he would then extend his hand towards the male offering to shake hands as a way to introduce themselves to each other. After Echo extended his hand he would let off a grin before saying “The name is Echo, I figured we should at least be on a first name basis if we are gonna work together even if it is only temporary.” Echo wasn’t used to working with people he didn’t know but he figured this would help him change his attitude towards that, after all he was going to have to change said attitude if he was going to be a magic knight.
Echo would then pull out his grimoire holding up the golden colored book with black detailing. He would then say to the male in front of him “We should probably start with a map, have no worries I have a pretty good one right here!” The grimoire would then begin to open with its pages rapid flipping and turning. Suddenly the book would generate a map of the surrounding area, made out of the purest and brightest light magic. The map would show the whole small village along with a bit of the surrounding area. Echo would then point to the area where most of the disappearances had taken place before looking to the man and saying “Well if we are gonna look for them the best place to start is here. I heard that most of the people go missing from around this area.”

[attr="class","posiescroll"] Posie’s large hand extended outwardly and the rather tall dark skinned mage took a hold of the hand that was offered to him. Posie lacked any opinion regarding the stranger’s appearance. He rarely ever had a chance to interact with any individuals who lived within the common realm. Most of his knowledge was gained from reading books and tomes that contained information on the various communities that made up the Clover Kingdom as a whole. Though he never read any material that distinctively touched on the differences between Noble fashion and the fashion of commoners. That was a gap of knowledge that he was going to have to fill in through practical observation. [break][break] What the larger man could determine at this juncture was that this fellow seemed to have a good head on his shoulders. Or at least was able to present himself that way. He didn’t think that commoners were known for their manners. Usually it seemed as though they had a bit more fear in their voices should his uncle’s complaints be believed to any capacity. He introduced himself with a respectable tone of voice. “I was given the name Posie.” With that stated, he’d release the man’s hand before crossing them underneath his chest. Making sure to maintain eye-contact with the friendly stranger for as long as it was justifiably possible. [break][break] He watched with abject silence as the map formed and his facial expression showcased a twinge of what could be considered annoyance the moment that his eyes washed over the book of this mysterious individual. He felt the same as he had many times in the past. Like a guppy surrounded by a never-ending sea of sharks. He could tell by how easily this man was able to suss out the location of the occurrences that he was way out of his league here. This entire ordeal was in good hands… and he was only getting in the way. Such self doubt only played out deep in his subconsciousness, thankfully. And it was only that one eye twitch that revealed any emotion. [break][break] He responded not even seconds later, “Sounds like a plan. That is an impressive looking Grimoire. Are you a magic knight doing some charity work, perchance?” Despite speaking, he had already begun to move to the designated direction that had been pointed out to him by this seemingly responsible soul. Which was fantastic, truly. There weren’t too many people who had admirable traits in Posie’s eyes. But taking the time to help strangers in need was a good way to start off on Posie’s good side. He might have had a neutral opinion on most things, but one thing that he could never stave off fully was the fact that he had Vermillion blood coursing through his veins. [break][break] "I have never conducted an investigation personally. So if you don't mind, I would like to follow your lead and learn as much as possible." He had a look of determination on his face that was completely overwhelming to any other emotion he had now. As though this was a life or death situation for himself. He wanted… he needed to prove to himself that this was the year that he was good enough to become the one thing that he had always wanted to be.
