In this world, Magic is Everything. All people, all races, are granted with the power to perform mystical and magical feats via grimories, mystical tomes granted to each and every child on their 15th birthday. Those blessed by the mana can have their names written down in legend.

Advent was never one to remain in a place longer than he deemed necessary, tbat was to say as soon as he got bored or something more interesting came around he would move on and do that until the cycle repeated. There was another issue with that, the white haired teen seemed to lack any sort of ability to recall information regardless of how recent it was he had learned it. He had completely forgotten about the brief time he had spent within the tavern with his captain and other squad mates within a few minutes of it happening, he had finished his meal and just wandered off to find something to do. The issue was he had no idea where he was heading and so just followed his feet in the hopes that they would take him towards something interesting, fun or new. He would get his wish that was for sure.
It was a bright summers day, although, it was raining slightly as his feet seemed to touch the lush ground of the area he now had found himself in after weeks of walking around. The mana was far stronger here, it felt very nature based although he could be wrong as his mana senses were being more than a little overwhelmed. It wasn't a bad feeling it was just a new challenge he'd need to adapt to, he believed that's why he was brought here and so he had a giant grin on his face. "I wonder where we are now! It feels so alive and filled with energy!" he seemed almost revitalized just having taken those few steps into the Aristaeus Basin. He honestly didn't care that his senses were being screwed up he wanted to run around and touch everything, yeah, he was THAT kid.
Running in he didn't pay much attention to the voices of his parents, he was hyper to "Oh! Oh! What's this?!" he exclaimed but quickly moved to something else "Oh! This is even better but..." he was more like a toddler on a severe candy sugar rush after drinking a few dozen cans of energy drinks and two dozen cups of expresso. His senses felt like they were being overstimulated and he honestly didn't care as he travelled deeper and deeper into the mana zone and closer to the Kingdom of Heart. He eventually did look down when he heard his stomach grumble and realized he likely hadn't eaten in a while so went looking for some berries to eat, finding a strange bush he would take a berry off it and put it into his mouth without a second thought. It was sweet and ripe, tasted almost like an orange so he sat down and started eating happily humming to him self.

[attr="class","glentext"] The Aristaeus' Basin, one of the places in the Kingdom he rarely went to, but he held very good memories from the people he had encountered there. The area was filled with plants and animals, the mana was also a lot denser and the Ki in the area felt a lot different from other places in the Kingdom. One of the last places a blind bat should be running around, not only because of how there was a high chance of encountering powerful mana beasts but because of its proximity to the Heart Kingdom. The last thing they needed was for Advent to cross the border and alert the military forces from the neighboring Kingdom. Strange enough this was his first time going out with Captain Malcolm outside of the base. There was always a first time for everything and this time they had to ensure that the blind kid didn't get himself killed or accidentally crossed the borders between the two Kingdoms. Charles came along to accompany Malcolm to find the blind bat himself, might as well go out and help out before it's too late. Last thing they need was to be unable to find him, with a possibility of him accidentally stepping into the Heart Kingdom's territory. [break][break] "Good grief... Have you ever considered to getting a collar and tying him with a rope next to the base in order to make sure he doesn't get out?" He said, his comment was sarcastic and actually meant to suggest to Malcolm to tie Advent next to the base. Although given the circumstances and considering how according to him this isn't the first time he does something like this. It wouldn't be surprising if the Captain decided to take such a choice. In his eyes it would at least buy them more time and avoid the possibility of things like that of happening again. Either way, not like he cared what he did about him. All he was coming for was to speed up the search. Charles decided to focus on his Ki and scan the area for Advent's Ki signature as it could help locate him as the two walked down the Aristaeus Basin. In his times in this place he has ended up finding mana beasts of sorts that attack people, but that wasn't a concern when a Magic Knight Captan was tagging alone. Hopefully no one notice on him trying to the bare minimum. The faster they found the blind bat the faster they could home, one of the things he thought about.

Malcolm Wattanabe was traversing through the basin, the area was particularly dense and he was tracking the ‘Blind Bat’, Advent...a rather odd Black Bull member, but odd was a really broad explanation due to the Black Bulls typical knights were often people that were trying to hide or otherwise had nowhere to fit in. Scratching his head he would use his animal instincts, a beastial sense from his beast aura to track that blind little bastard. Charles made a comment that honestly made Malcolm chuckle as he had indeed thought of the same thing. [xolor=brown]”Ya know...I tried something like that once when he just showed up after having made a damn trip into the SPADE KINGDOM and he just fuckin’ dissapeared then too...I fear that this little bat is more crafty than his handicap suggests. However, if we can find him, I would like to get him to come back to the base to at least try and keep him grounded to the area for a bit. Keep your eyes peeled though, this place is gonna be crazy to use any type of mana sensory abilities.”[/color] Malcolm continued to follow tracks until finally he felt as if he was being led around in a circle. The bat was either...well he WAS lost there was no doubt about that, but then again...maybe being lost was what he needed to survive.
When we find him, let's try to see exactly why he is heading towards the Heart Kingdom...and if we can get him to come back...bonus for us.” THe fact of the matter was that with the Bulls forces being spread thin, Advent was needed to help out with patrolling the kingdom and especially towards the diamond kingdom borders where things were still...rocky at beast he could be used in a capacity to at least cause less stress to the people.
The white-haired teen had stopped eating and had running around enjoying experiencing the area once more, it reminded him of his home if it was so magically charged. It really was giving him happy energetic feelings and it was showing given that he could give someone with an attention span of a goldfish a run for their money. He suddenly stopped and looked around almost as if he was trying to sense danger but no sooner than he had done he had suddenly started running towards a tree and started climbing it. He was completely unaware of Charles or Malcolm's presence, he wasn't paying attention to such things but even if he was looking out for mana signatures they would be dwarfed easily by the mana in the area unless it was a nature-based mage. To look at him you wouldn't have believed he was a royal knight but a child of nature without a worry or care.
He had gotten around halfway up the tree when he heard crying from birds "I picked the wrong tree..." he whispered to himself, starting to climb down. It wasn't because he was afraid of protecting himself from the parents of the baby birds, not at all, but he did try and respect those who shared the world with him even if they weren't like him. He had been raised in a forest and so was taught the do's and don'ts that came with their way of life and so even though he did have his own difficulties he did remember the rules that were pretty much hammered into his head. "I'm sorry." he called up his voice was oddly calm, more like what you'd expect from a well-balanced teenager or adult which just wasn't what anyone who knew him would expect at all.
Taking a few steps back be whispered something under his breath, even if someone was to catch it, it would be in a language that wouldn't be understood. With that done he perked up and started to run around again before he started to climb up a rock that had colourful crystals poking out of it. The edges of the crystals were rough but by how he was moving on them you'd have believed them smooth and polished. The reason for this was the youth never wore shoes and so the bottoms of his feet had hardened overtime to protect themselves from being damaged easily. He had been told by some people that shoes would protect him better, which when he tried them he couldn't deny but he didn't like the feel of being trapped inside them but there was an additional reason... they made him blind... well blinder. He used vibrations from the ground to give him some of the information that others took for granted due to being able to see, that's why he refused to fly.
