Noah
Finally, he is here. It felt like ages since he set his foot from his house in the Common realm but the time has finally came. Royal Capital, just where he wanted to go despise his plan was to arrive way sooner than he did. “I really need to get that broom” He said for himself while walking through the busy streets of the one of many squares. He was naturally overwhelmed, never ever he had seen so many people together at one place and as he went further the number of people only seemed to increase. Slight uncomforting feelings came to his mind; up until now the most people he ever experienced were twenty people gathered together in his birth village. And that was only once a year when humble festivities celebrating the arrival of summer occurred. He reached for his small bag where he kept very few items he decided to bring with him – that was small amount of money he gathered, but he also spent most of it on his way over here. Noah wasn’t the type of person that is comfortable sleeping in the nature or even being outside honestly. His whole way through the Common land and then the shorter part in the Noble realm he was sleeping in hotels, if you can call it that. It was those kind of places where you naturally come only to sleep and leave early morning hoping you didn’t catch something you wouldn´t want. When he reached the Noble realm the whole situation changed. The places he stayed at were much more polished but also way, WAY more expensive. That wasn’t something he was aware of, but only made sense.
He made sure his grimoire wasn’t visible, as the bag with all his goods was covering it. He also wasn’t sure what was the situation regarding four leaf clover grimoires. Basic knowledge was that they are really rare, but also this way the capital. Most skilled mages would be here and Noah expected to see tons of four leaf clovers everywhere. The opposite was the truth, but not only the four leaf, he expected to be instantly recognized as a commoner and picked up by some noble bully. I guess I need to work on my judgment skills. He tough for a brief moment as he was passing other people. What was his goal now? Should he find the place to sleep? Or should he directly head to the Golden Dawn headquarters and ask them to be accepted. During his travels this very direct approach seemed to be the best option, but seeing the current situation he might need to work on that. It was the middle of the day, and therefore finding a place to sleep wasn’t really necessary. He decided to get some food but another problem occurred. There were just too many options, even for himself who could be considered a picky eater. And as he went on through various streets of the capital he just kept finding more and more places that interested him. “Ok but this is really overpriced.” He murmured while checking out some menu on the wall of rather cozy place. He was getting tired anyway and being this much under direct sun made him really dehydrated.
He decided to enter the overpriced restaurant, or something similar to that. There was a bar and a lot of people sitting behind tables. To his surprise there wasn’t a lot of food involved as everyone was drinking some kind of alcohol and at the same time being really loud. “I hate this already” he said as he scanned the room. But the temperature was so cold, and it was really dark with only a few light sources that made him forget its scorching hot outside. He saw one table that was isolated from the others on the second floor of the establishment and he liked that. He went there immediately, as there wasn’t anyone around on the second floor because it seemed like all the fun was happening on the first. After waiting for a couple of minutes, young man approached him and asked him what would he like. “Can I get a salad and a lot of clear water please?” He tried to act very friendly but that didn’t really happen. The man just nodded and went away to something that seemed to be a kitchen. During the wait for the food and water, Noah finally got a chance to take a deep breath and start planning his next move. However, it was all too loud and he couldn’t really concentrate.
