Aelia had heard about the wildlands since spending time with Jin, she had been told it was a place that didn't follow the same rules as Clover, they followed different rules as it was the only truly safe place for people like them. She had no idea what that was supposed to mean but she got curious. She sat at the table where paper, pencils and crayons were normally kept for her. These things were used to help her motor functions, many would think that because of this she was clunky with her movements. Given she could throw a dagger to be within a millimetre of a person's head that wasn't the case. She on the other hand had never been taught to read, write or draw so that was part of her lessons to help her not be so dependant on others. It was coming along... slowly...

She still hadn't started to learn how to read or write, the former would take time and the latter it was clear just by how she held it to try that she was uncomfortable with it. It would have almost seemed as if she was trying to run before knowing how to crawl, Jin had tried another tactic with her and so she drew, this was still difficult as she was working out how best to hold a crayon and pencil. She could have just had Fredrick or one of the guards she had killed on the night she met Echo do it for her but Jin was adamant that she needed to do it on her own if she wanted to leave messages. It upset her but she did as she was told and so when she went off on her own she would leave a picture that looked like it had been drawn by a toddler.

There wasn't much detail and if she had never been to a place before she had to guess what it would look like. In the case of the wildlands, it looked more like a jungle with animals and bandits, what Jin would make out of that one she had no idea. He'd likely tell her when she returned. Jin was off doing a task at the moment and so she travelled by herself that night using directions given to her by Fredrick who all but complained the entire way. She wanted to see this safe place but she also hoped to make a new friend or two. It had been hours and she had gotten lost a few times thanks to Fredrick not knowing the way precisely but she eventually got to an encampment. Everything was so silent and still, it was creepy even for her.

It didn't stop her walking in however, the pure darkness was perfect for her as she could see perfectly all be it not in colour but she would take comfort over colour any day. Walking through the encampment she saw many dead bodies of men, it was clear whoever took their lives hated them and truly wanted them dead. They didn't suffer and every wound was precise, she had to wonder if this was what Jin was talking about when he said this place had different laws. She looked up hearing a thud and carefully yet quietly walked towards it, she saw a red-headed young woman struggling for breath but it seemed as if she had made peace with the fact that she was dying. She normally asked for permission to claim a person like this for her graveyard but as she believed that this woman was the reason the men were dead, she wasn't risking it.

She remained quietly watching as the woman said her final words and fell to final rest, her red spider lily started to glow brighter showing that she had passed and so moved to her side. She knelt next to the woman's side and put her grimoire down. With her red spider lily next to it. "Come to my graveyard, we can play together forever." she said gently the grimoire's cover and pages opening the body of the woman's body glowing for a moment before it started to quickly almost decay and dissolve what looked like sparkling particles going into her grimoire before the grimoire closed as suddenly as it opened. The woman's corpse was no longer anywhere to be seen her hands coming together as if she was praying.

"For those that have come and gone, through love and strife, whether you are forgotten or remembered thanks is given to you all so we can continue our paths undisrupted." she whispered before picking up her grimoire, her flower now only lightly glowing, she put this down to the strength of the other dead people around her. If that was the case she wanted nothing to do with them, she was taught only to take the strong into her graveyard and so that is what she would do. She knew that her pixie sticks weren't the strongest and she had been hurt for taking them but she didn't want them to be lost after suffering for so long and so took them with her. She hadn't had a birthday present that year so had said they could be it, she was notified that since there was five she would gain nothing for each one she willed to keep. She couldn't count and even if she did she wouldn't care so agreed.

With a new friend in the safety of her graveyard she decided it was time to return back to Jin, she couldn't wait to show him her new friend. She wondered if he would be happy or not but only time would tell on that one. She knew her magic wasn't everyone's cup of tea even her own father seemed to hate her for it. She believed it eas more to do with the fact that she had killed her mother but it wasn't like she asked to be born or cursed with the magic she had. Those things were out of her control.
