A young Magic Knight shouldn’t usually be asked to go into the Fringe. The territory between the Diamond and Clover kingdoms is a wasteland of thousands of years of war and holds horrible secrets of the past…but when a new dungeon is discovered, so far away from the Capital and news of rogue wizards going to conquer it first spreads...your Captains send you off to intercept.

The Ancient Tower of Quinteps is a humongous leaning monstrosity of carved rock. It is a mystery where many civilians and knights alike have vanished without a trace. Yet it is not a place with magical portals, or the residence of an evil wizard...What resides within are living fossils of the best and worst kind. These creatures roam about as guardians to the treasured knowledge of their creator, at times snacking on the occasional passer-by with their huge jaws when they get hungry, and retreat back in the ancient tower

You climb up the stairs, slipping a few times here and there, but get to the top without much issues, only to find yourselves face to face with several large snail-shaped mushrooms (5 each). They attempt to lash out at you with their dangerous roots, attacking at your feet and arms for [junior damage], trying to pin you down before releasing toxic spores that deal damage that caps at intermediate unless you have the wind element. [break][break]
Only once you manage to finally defeat them, do you get some peace and quiet and feel the scent of something rotting wafting through the air. The room you’re in is covered with small mushrooms and moss, with a few small sets of bones from birds and other minor mammals and reptilians lying about here and there were the Snail bodied-Mushrooms were lounging previously. The tower shakes gently as you move into the next room, and you find yourselves underneath the open skies of the destroyed tower. Hot steam wafts into your face as you find yourself staring at a large heated lake. You can infer that there is perhaps some form of lava or molten rock that is the cause of the warmth of this whole tower. Nature here seems to be overgrown as giant azure mushrooms tower over you and tree’s tower and grow around the hot waters. But it would seem that you’re not the only ones here.
[break][break]
You’re quickly spotted and surrounded by a large pack of furred reptilian mana beasts called Falkhasaurs that, if you’re a total nerd, you’d know are extinct. If you’re a Magic Knight you probably wouldn’t want to straight up kill these rather than knocking them out. If you’re a rogue, you may not care.

The entire tower shakes much more furiously once the battle ends, and a loud pair of roars makes the environment go completely silent. Whatever cicadas or bees were buzzing about just go completely still. Whomever clears this dungeon receives the Notable Achievement "A Taste of the Past!"
[attr="class","noahtext"]Flying outside the Clover Kingdom once again. Noah found himself in the border of a fringe, attempting to find another dungeon he planned to conquer. There were supposed to be a bunch of people joining him, and he was rather excited for that. There previous experiences he had for the last month have showed him that meeting new people was essential for his own development. He knew the road very well, as he actually walked similar path when he was trying to get to the Blake estate to meet captain of The Golden Dawn. This time, the course was different as he had to make a rapid turn directly into a sandstorm, which covered his whole surroundings. “Oh my, I hate sand I will have it everywhere.” He spoke annoyed, while covering his eyes, desperately trying to protect himself from the sand. He flew relatively often, but never did he encounter such unpleasant conditions, it almost felt as if that wasn’t natural. Young mage had a basic knowledge of the Fringe, as it was an important point between two of the kingdoms – the Diamond and the Clover. Fringe was basically a manifestation of their relationship – a wasteland, full of visible marks of wars that happened here over the centuries. [break] It was only natural that such unique dungeon would be hidden here, and apparently it was hidden very well. Noah could feel the sandstorm getting less intense by every second he flew, but the problem was that by this time he already lost any sense of direction and therefore was hoping he would be able to see soon. Sand stopped pouring into his eyes, and it seemed the sky cleared for a little, and there it was. Noah found the architecture, if it could be called that very interesting. It felt like it wasn’t human-made, as Noah assumed most of the dungeons were. Rather it seemed like a forgotten piece of time, or more specifically as if something froze for a thousand years and hasn’t changed ever since. It was a wonder that the dungeon held itself, as it was leaning rather dangerously. Given the location, which was unclear for him at the moment Noah decided to approach closer and see what it was all about. Carefully observing the territory, before attempting to make any rapid changes was something he learned the hard way, but thankfully he knew better now. [break] Looking abandoned, there were barely any vegetation, mostly a wasteland crossed by several rivers, which Noah found weird as it was located in the middle of the desert. What was also weird was the fact that even though the whole area seemed to lack any kind of life, whether it be plants or animals, the tower itself seemed to be covered in multiple different kinds of greenery. “This probably means there is an active mana source, which would make sense as it is a dungeon.” Noah started to explain these things for himself, trying to find any piece of possible logic in this place. There barely seemed to be any, and he felt sorry he didn’t do a bigger research of this place. But honestly, his first experience in a different dungeon was no different, as it was confusing from the beginning and once Noah would advance it just uncovered itself naturally. This seemed to be a likely scenario here as well, however the feeling of advancing through a tower that was already leaned in this dangerously wasn’t making him exactly excited. Also, by the feeling of it, Noah would be very surprised if he found any humans or humanoids here. Finally, he made it to the giant doors covered by green lianas. It seemed like a first red flag, as the entrance was obviously blocked. Thankfully, Noah just clenched his fist, as he activated his only melee spell. This would cover his hand with gravity magic, making the road throughout lianas rather easy.[break] FLOOR 1 ROOM 1 [break] After making it in, he found himself in a circular room covered in dark. The very few light coming was from the imperfections in the walls, and Noah understood this was the first room of the dungeon itself. Unlike a Cursed Forest, the temperature here was so high it was almost unbearable. That much more for Noah as he hated heat and anything connected to it. It didn’t take him long before he noticed that he was walking in something that was rather dense, and he wasn’t alone. Thankfully, the companions that were there currently were only flies and mosquitos, which he didn’t fancy, but it was still better than those screeching mandrakes. “Oh I think this is a quicksand?” He asked little confused, as he noticed that he was much deeper than he initially was. And he was right, he started to sink even deeper, which was rather annoying, but at the same time he trusted his own skills by now, and having his spell still active, he could just manipulate one of the nearby lianas to descend a little that he could reach it. With this, he managed to push himself up into the staircase, that was on the other side of the room. This seemed to lead into another room, however Noah decided to wait here, on the other side of room for his whole team to arrive, as he had no idea who they were or what they were capable of. He made sure to use his magic to manipulate lianas in a way, that even the weaker ones could hold onto them and basically slide into another side of the room, towards him.

After arriving in the first room, Noah boosted his power with his spell "His Cursed Fists" and climbed up the lianas, getting on the other side of room and then used his magic to push lianas around so that everyone would be able to get to him.[break] Dungeon Summary: Entrance: 600/600 Floor 1 Room 1: 278/600
Long days and longer nights prevented Red from sleeping, most of the time, albeit the chance to finally stretch her legs only came by once in a blue moon. The opportunity to explore a dungeon was not something that she wanted to miss. Her predilection towards haphazard work led her to accepting the dutiful commands of her betters to investigate the new area that was uncovered between Diamond and Clover. Being sent to the far reaches of the kingdom was hardly a trifling concern, Red elected to catch a coach out to the fringe, paying well and truely in advance for the horses and carriage. The driver was twice her age as Red discovered, full of wisdom and otherwise arbitrary facts about life, and relatively talkative. Red listened with the patience a noble needed to stay polite, offering an affirmative every so often so as to appear to be listening. Although, the journey to The Ancient Tower was rather long and tedious, Red had to amuse herself some how. Retrieving a small mirror from her satchel she began applying make-up in the usual, inordinately frivolous way. First applying the pale foundation that protected her skin from the heat of the Sun, than the blush and eye liner she would require to make her smouldering nonchalance that much more nonchalant. The blush was there, but Red found that she had packed the wrong type for this particular outing and left it where it was. Had she been from another kingdom, Red may have looked like a part of the coterie. Figuring this endeavour to be one that would require her being lithe, she wore a shirt that exposed her midriff and long baggy pants that covered her ankles. Form and function, poise and etiquette. Red drummed her fingers along the outside of her Grimoire, tracing intrinsic lines along the spine. Her main form of entertainment was staring out the window and as the road tarried and fewer things were apparent for her to gaze upon the wind began to pick up and the trees became more scarce. Almost instantly after the thought, the driver informed her that he could go no further, apologising and copping an earful of critique from the Black Bull before she departed. Little to no explanation, other than some pious god-fearing speech that sounded practised. It was incredulous and Red let him know it; making him entirely aware of her station, squad and the strings the Fallow family would pull to see him making a living in another line of work. Various scenarios played out in her mind, one of which was that no finer thing would occur for him that day other than her parting.
He seemed relieved to see her go; to be honest, she was elated to be by herself once again. The reports bode nothing of such weather and Red was simply caught off guard by the immense amount of sand that densely buffetted her to and fro. Pressing on seemed unwise, yet she did for what seemed to be near countless steps. Shifting her foothold in the sand required an insane amount of effort, the ground she was treading was loose and kicked up billowing i to her face. By the time Red had made any progress at all, her very fibre of being was laced with the not so delicate fragments of half a dozen forgotten civilisations. Pragmatically, she mentally assessed her situation.
Having to close her eyes, as they were not doing her much good any way, Red proceeded to aimlessly allow the wind to push her this way and that. Eventually leading her to believe that salvaging the dungeon mission was the least intelligent decision of her life. The sand storm began to abate and it seemed that carelessly she had remarkably found her way to where she had intended to be. The tower was leaning ever so precariously to the left, as most things often did. At the base was a door covered in lianas, interwoven into the very entrance of the dungeon. Red thought about this as she removed her shoes and glumly poured the sand out, her socks were ruined by the grit of the sediment and this displeased her greatly. After having put her shoes back on she idly shifted her positioning and toted her Grimoire from her satchel. Leafing through the pages of script, her index finger slid across one particular verse which she mumbled, to herself more than anything. Getting the general gist of the spell, Red began working on opening the door by shifting her Black Bull Mantle over her shoulder and grabbing one of the lianas that barred her way. Access would be leveraged by plying it from the door through sheer force of willpower if nothing else, “Creations Hand Guide Me.” The runic geometry began to lace itself around her wrist before she tore the roots away from the entrance, still with moderate difficulty she made a ‘her’ sized entrance in the door ways vines and shimmied through with little difficulty. Upon retrospect it seemed incredibly easy for her to get through the door, as if Red were being helped by an unseen force.
The room was large and light peered in through the cracks in the walls, the first floor of the dungeon was humid and unbearably stifling of her good humours. She looked up to see a man who was competently swinging the vines around like it was his element to do so, Red cared little as the floor was damp and this upset her delicate sensibilities. Hopping onto one of the lianas that he was moving around, Red imagined that her footing was becoming more difficult prior to this so she nimbly ran across the bridge the man had made for her. Being that she was now on the other side of the room with him, she decided to introduce herself. “Good afternoon, my name is Red Fallow and it is my exceptional pleasure to make your acquaintance.”
Kōji usually stuck to the wilderness, growing up in the Forsaken region made him accustomed to certain scenery, tending to take lush greenery of the untamed wilds of the Clover kingdom much for granted. To broaden his horizons he decided to take a trip to somewhere where he could find new things to challenge his everyday lifestyle. Plotting out his course in a small town, taking in rumors from strangers and citizens alike he heard something intriguing. There was… something… out in the Fringe. He couldn't get a decent description of what it was, a ruin perhaps? It drove him mad, and just like that his course was set, trekking farther than he'd ever gone to satisfy his burgeoning curiosity.
Nothing could have truly prepared him for what was to come. Sprawling out before him was a vast desert wasteland marred by the scars of ancient battles. The history lying deep beneath the sands was, however, of no particular interest to the young traveler. His eyes were set on the inhabitants that moved into the area during this great period of silence. Scavengers were king here, and many others took shelter in the rock formations beneath the infinite grain. He could somewhat sense them moving beneath his feet in the areas where the sand was particularly shallow, sending an uneasy feeling creeping up his spine. The cloak he normally kept around his waist was instead tied around his head to protect him from the sun. He was rather fortunate, should there have been a soul looking to cause errant wanderers like himself harm, the red silk would be an easy-to-spot beacon in the bleak beige sea, and yet no one accosted him on his journey into the unknown. Perhaps, it would have been better if they did.
There was no warning of the impending sandstorm, its arrival was gradual yet escalating at a rapid rate. Sand swirled around Kōji’s feet as tendrils of the golden grain reached into the sky around him. It quickly blinded him, and in the brief moment that he took to cover his eyes and wipe away all the sand on his face, peeing from beyond the cloak now blocking his face he could see nothing but the whirlwind wall. It seemed to almost encircle him, but there was no real way of knowing because he couldn’t see beyond its reach. Waiting for the storm to relent didn’t seem like an option to Kōji. He didn’t know where the next safe place would be, and stopping now would make the rest of his journey pressed for time. That was all he needed to press onward, doing his best to keep marching forward, a task nigh impossible without vision. Unable to make out the terrain ahead of him, Kōji crested a dune expecting to continue stepping higher, only to lose his footing and tumble an indeterminate distance.
Finally getting to his feet, the sandstorm having miraculously subsided at some point during his tumble, he found himself standing before an enormous structure beset in what appeared to be a hidden oasis. That was terribly odd, surely if something like that was ahead of him earlier he would’ve seen it some time ago, no? Overgrowth had claimed the building, as lianas had grown around it, blocking the door. Upon further inspection, however, he could see a path cut through the vine. “Beggars, can’t be choosers,” he muttered to himself. This may be his only respite in the middle of nowhere. There was a mild difficulty in wading through the slow rivers ahead of the tower, the water came up to his stomach and made progress a little slow, but there was a little satisfaction he took in the brief swim. Eventually, he shook off all of the water he could, standing before the partially blocked door. It was almost humanoid in shape, the hole cut through the lianas, perhaps someone was here. He proceeded through them examining the damage they sustained before reaching the door. The grating of the stone doors being pushed open was a strangely welcome sound.
1 - 1
The first room beyond the doors was rather shocking to see, as it varied so differently from what he had last seen. It was like swampland had formed indoors, which was rather intriguing. His senses immediately sharpened as he noticed the insects all about the place. He could hear the gentle buzzing of their wings all around him further than he could spot them too. There were quite a few of them at that, and this led him to his second bit of insight, a vast number of them sat patiently near the center of the room, almost like they were waiting for something. He proceeded forward with caution, something was a little off. Luckily, he was able to spot some other people before he stepped directly into quicksand, one of them directly manipulating the vines above him. Getting to talk to someone after all of this time would be… refreshing, he boldly accepted the invitation, grabbing hold of the lianas as they guided his ascent.
He landed beside them with a thud, rubbing a hand on his neck nervously. His stature was immediately noticeable in comparison, and he tried not to make a big deal about it, but it was obviously on his mind. Kōji’s appearance wasn’t much to speak of, he still had quite a bit of sand on him and his pants were damp. “I wasn’t expecting to find others on my little excursion… Hi, I’m Kōji!” he extended a hand to whoever would take it, although he found Red a little intimidating. Her pale complexion made her look unhealthy, as he had no idea what make-up even was.
TL;DR: Traveled through the wasteland on foot, caught in the sand storm, found the tower already accessed, not expecting to find others. Summary Entrance: 680/600 | 1-1: 274/600 | Total: 954
[attr="class","pachaPOS"] The Fringes are not a place Pasha frequents. But they are good at going with the flow. So their feet led them with the belief of the fates being kind to them today. It was the thought that counts. [break][break] And what a foolish thought that was. [break][break] The mage found themself in an area with winds whipping up a storm. Sand was being lifted into the air by the strength of it and soon the dust storm strengthened, rendering the surrounding area invisible. Pasha covered their face with their hands, tightly shutting their eyes to protect from the stinging storm, and letting their feet continue leading them through blindness. It wasn’t long until the sand layered itself onto their form, covering them head-to-toe and masking the dark colors they normally wore. Although having the storm dirtying their appearance didn’t bother them in the slightest, the sensation of shifting sands snaking under the layers they wore was significantly worse. [break][break] Eventually, the pelting their hands suffered numbed - but they could not feel anything beyond the caked grit covering their entire inch. So, whether the storm had ceased or not, Pasha wasn’t risking an eye full of sand to check. They had more important things to worry about, such as the extra weight they were carrying within every fold of their robes from the dirt that collected within them. They trudged on nonetheless. [break][break] While some of the sand in their clothes slowly - and uncomfortably - found a path out, shifting with each step they made. The wind must have calmed, as they couldn’t hear it roaring anymore, but if dirt trapped within clothes was this torturous they hoped to never experience it in their eyes. So they kept on, blindly - with the speck of sand falling into the air. [break][break] Feeling their foot catch on something solid, Pasha’s hands shot out from where they were protecting their face for added balance as their other foot caught them. After regaining their balance and without their hands blinding them, the blood mage finally noticed the storm had long dissipated and left behind a tall structure made of stone that had a curious lean. The cloak of vegetation was worth noting too, as downright strange. A quick look back the way they came revealed a peculiar terrain cut with rivers. How fortunate that they only managed to trip now; and although they lack in the mana-sensing department, even they could tell this was a dungeon - and that means it’s likely there are others around too, good or bad. Or, good and bad. [break][break] Naturally, Pasha approached what had to be the entrance without an ounce of caution. Dungeons held unusual treasures and magical artifacts, there must be something in there that could aid their current situation. It was a massive door, one barred by lianas, but had clearly been opened fairly recently with the vines themselves torn away. They could fit right in. So they did. [break][break] Without a second thought, the blood mage quickly passed through the vegetation. Only, as soon as they moved to enter the ajar door their head was jutted backwards with a tug and drew a short squawk from Pasha: Their hair had gotten caught on a vine. Although, it did draw attention to how discolored the storm had made them; Their hair was more of a lightish brown, which barely lessened as they untangled it from the vine and shook it out. An irritating delay but it did lead to the mage considering the evidence that there really were others here, and they should make an attempt to appear presentable. [break][break]
600/600
[break] Leaving behind a pile of sand - from attempting to shake off and out all their clothes had collected from the storm - Pasha finally crossed the threshold, still fairly sand-colored, and had only one thought upon entering the room. [attr="class","pachaTHK"]Why?! Already they could tell it would be a challenge to continue this dungeon, but they must persevere. Their life depends on it. [break][break] The humidity is the worst part, the bugs… weren’t as bad - they were just bugs after all. However, Pasha likes to wear layers. No matter where they are or why. A choice that will surely put their patience to the test here. [break][break] Before the bugs could really start bugging them, their attention was drawn upwards by a flicker of movement. There they saw lianas wriggling about with clear magical manipulation, and while they were reluctant to tangle with the vines once again, there was clearly little else to see from where they stood. So they ascended with the provided assistance, expressing no surprise at all when seeing three other mages before them. [break][break] Pasha regarded them for a moment with caution - especially the one with the Black Bulls mantle, it reminded them of a certain prince - before cracking a big smile. [attr="class","pachaSAY"]“Oh yay, I’m not alone! Nice to meet you all, my name’s Pasha.” [break][break]

Noah having very nice experiences with other Black Bulls from previous missions just smiled and waved in a friendly manner. It didn’t take long before small adorable boy made his way towards the lianas and to the platform he and Red were standing on currently. Finally, Pasha came and by this point Noah was just surprised .“Did you all expect to do this dungeon alone?” He asked, when he realized that some of them might even know that they were in a dungeon, however that didn’t set him off as everyone seemed rather nice, he would then just speak once again. “Hey everyone! Well, my name is Noah and I believe we are doing the dungeon together, from what I heard it is not very hard, but it would still be great if we were careful.” With this, he would start climbing up the very steep stairs, gesturing everyone else to follow him. The stairs were rather slippery, but thankfully there weren’t many of them and what came next was really surprising. [break] A huge area ahead of them, almost as if it was disconnected from the lower floor. The room they all currently entered looked like a forest scene, seeing moss and mushrooms everywhere. It looked quite peaceful and was very different from what they could see in the previous room. Noah would take a quick look, before the others would climb up the stairs as well, only to find twenty very creepy looking things staring at him. He got scared for a little moment, but then realized that those monsters were pretty weak already. If only their appearance reflected that though. Noah would just wait, still as a statue so that they wouldn’t attack him instantly, but it seemed like it was too late as five of them had already decided it was time to get rid of the intruder. [break] Sighting, Noah just jumped away from the opening they all came through so that the rest of his party wouldn’t be instantly greeted with lashing roots and weird poison spikes those mushrooms used to attack Noah. Thankfully, his control was at a very sufficient level, at least compared to these lowly mobs and with a swing of a finger, Noah would redirect the roots to fly up a little more, making them miss him. He would then take a quick look around the battlefield, to find an object that would be ideal for his spell. Didn’t take long, before he encountered a huge rock that was just lying there. Pointing his finger directly onto it, he would then say quietly. “Kinetic Link.” With this, a small orb of mana came out of his finger, rushing towards the rock before successfully attaching itself to it.[break] Noah would then just move his finger as if he was navigating an orchestra, however what really happened was that he just manipulated the said rock and used it to smash two of those small mushrooms as if they were a flies. Utilizing his homing ability, he made the rock roll over the other remaining three mushrooms, making them just a puddle of blood or whatever those monsters had instead of it. By this time, the whole party would already make their way up to top and Noah would just smile and scratch his head. “I think I enraged them.” He then pointed to another fifteen mushrooms that decided to engage, probably from the sound of the rock crushing on the ground. This was a great opportunity for Noah to see what the people in the party were capable of. He would just look at Red, who came after Noah and point a thumb up. “You got this.” With this, he stepped back and watched what all the other mages would do to defeat the mushrooms, or snails or anything in between.

Greetings, Noah entered the second floor, first room only to find a lot of angry mushrooms, killed five of them and stepped back to let others fight. There are 15 mushrooms left.[break] Gravity Magic: Kinetic Link
Elemental Type: Gravity Rank & Spell Type: Intermediate | Attack Creation, Sensory (Homing) Range & Speed: 40 meters | 10 m/s Mana Cost: 20 | 10 Stats Effected: +4 Power Applicable Perks: Knock-back Description: This spell allows Noah to weaponize any object present on the battleground. Activating the spell by pointing on one concrete object in his sight, Noah is able to use his gravity to apply his magic in form of small gravity point, which is attached to said object and moves the object as Noah wishes by gestures of his right hand. The gravity point is visible if enemies sensory is over 30 and looks like a small ball 3 centimeters in diameter attached to the object, and Noah can manipulate objects this way up to 600 lbs of weight (272 kilograms) with the size up to 6 m and based on the ammo rules, for every 20 control he has he is able to manipulate one more object at the same time. The size of the object doesn’t matter in terms of damage, as it’s the force it is manipulated with, dealing intermediate rank damage upon hit in form of moderate bones cracks or minor breaks as well as knocking the enemy back 4 meters and additional 5 meters for every 10 power Noah has. Noah is unable to use this spell on objects that are already used by playable characters. Utilizing sensory specialization, Noah is also able to apply homing effect to the objects that are being manipulated by this spell.
Blinking, Red counted the number of people by ticking them off her fingers, there was the first; Noah, as he introduced himself. Koji, who was as surprised as anybody that there were others Pasha, of whom Red had no real opinion on but she warranted their grin with caution. Haphazardly she felt as though the assortment of folks this dungeon had drawn would be strangely suitable, for the task at hand required a variety of skills to complete. Looking them over she reintroduced herself to the others, “Salutations, Red Fallow at your service.” As she said this she swept her mantle in a showy fashion, bowing as her stage training being as it were was an essential for any and all performances. Taking the initiative she climbed up the stairs ushering the others to follow with a sweep of her hand. Her first impression of the next room was that it was lush with greenery and expansive, Red witnessed Noah swing himself calmly into combat. “Impressive.” She simply stated as she brandished her Grimoire, the book’s pages themselves being a dark sable shade. “Find the five, stay alive.” She mused as a large five of hearts card sprang from the ground in front of her. She stood behind this rudimentary shield as she broached the threshold and slowly moved forward protecting herself from harm using the card to protect her and the others behind her. Red peaked out from behind it to see a number of sallow expressionless mushrooms. Their movements seemed agitated and they began swarming around the room in search of targets to attack. Being that she was hopefully out of sight behind the card, she shrank from the opportunity to do anything incredibly progressive or meaningful. Not completely disregarding the thumbs up from Noah, she meekly returned the gesture while doing mental calculations as to how deeply in trouble she may have been if she were alone. Fifteen of these things, if any one of them attacked her she would have trouble dealing with it being that it would probably take two or so physical attacks to down just the one of them. Opting for a conservative approach, Red did the only thing she could think to do, which was defend herself from the overwhelming swarm of mycelium. Puffing a short breath of air to move a stray lock of hair out of her face, she really hoped the others would be faster to respond and react than she had been. Internally she prayed that Noah or one of the others would be able to easily deal with this situation. Troublesome as it was, Red allowed herself the time to consider her next move. Keenly aware that being cornered may result in serious injury or possibly even death, she rifled through her Grimoire before selecting one of few spells she actually knew. “Creations hand guide me; C1.” The spell enveloped her hands up to the forearm in intricate black lines that resembled very fine charcoal, she grabbed on of the closer mushroom creatures with her bare hands. Sticking her arm into its head reaching for what ever core kept it alive, striking it with her foot to rip her arm free before retreating behind the defensive structure of her card again. That was one mycelium creature dealt with. Red kicked its remains, she wondered how the others may deal with the small swarm of them that were left.

Tl;dr Reintroduction. One mushroom dead. One defensive spell, one Physical Reinforcement Spell.
Last Edit: Sept 6, 2021 3:55:25 GMT -5 by David Rex
After all the introductions were done, a small group of capable people had arrived, and yet none of this actually seemed to be anyone’s plan? These people came here intentionally and Koji didn’t even know this place existed, stumbling upon it at random, what even was a “dungeon”? Just like that, they had seemed to determine that they wanted to proceed and the others made their way up the crazy limestone staircase. Not wanting to be the odd one out, Koji fell in step with the others, it would be awful to get separated from these people in a place like this. They’d hardly ventured in and already came across quicksand, going further in didn’t give him any confidence.
As they crested the top of the stairs, Koji couldn’t help but make the juxtaposition about the seemingly rapid change of interior biomes, although he kept this to himself as he was certain the others had noticed too. Almost immediately he could sense the presence of strange creatures almost floating all around them. He nearly missed them, as they hardly moved at all before the party’s arrival, but once they moved their liana-like appendages they were quite easy for him to notice. Noah had moved far ahead of them, crushing a number of them with a rock by seemingly just waving his hand. Red created a giant card that protected her from danger ahead of her as she moved forward, but that might not be enough. Koji already knew his spells couldn’t do much in the face of danger, so he opted to take a slightly different approach. Pulling out his grimoire, it fell open on the exact page he needed. “Boar,” he called out, thinking of Pasha behind him.
As the spell was cast, teeth were conjured around Pasha swirling around their arm. The teeth spun at a rapid pace before joining together around their wrist and forming into a bracelet. Once the formation was complete, Pasha would feel a slight boost in the potency of their magic. Koji’s magic would likely make some people uncomfortable, but if they insisted upon making their way through here, they would have to put up with it one way or another. He moved in to cover Red’s flank as a snail mushroom came down looking to mess with her, and he hit it with a swift elbow to its one eye. The attack made it back down some, but it was still looking to cause trouble.

[attr="class","patchAST"] For strangers who’ve just gotten their introductions out of the way, this ragtag group tackling this dungeon were quick to work as a team. Maybe Pasha really will get something out of this adventure. So they kept following the group up the stairs quietly, keeping a smile on their face to keep a friendly appearance - not even reacting in any other way to the monsters that greeted the group after they’ve reached the next floor. [break][break] Although Noah was clearly leading them onwards with his clear experience and quick work against some of the monsters, Red was quick to cover for the group and take down a monster while maintaining the defense with her curious magic. Koji on the other hand didn’t move to the offensive but did cast a spell of his own; Teeth began swirling around Pasha’s arm, to their surprise, before latching onto their wrist as a bracelet. A construct spell then, maybe. It left the blood mage curious as to how it could help them take out the remaining fourteen mushrooms and after seeing Noah’s quick work of the monsters; they were reluctant to put in much effort. But they were a team, and a team is a team that tackles obstacles together. [break][break] With a tired sigh - as if attacking was such a chore - Pasha drew their
[attr=class,bowNYAme]wooden bow
and an arrow from the quiver of twenty on their back. A quick draw and loose shot sent the projectile into the nearest mushroom, followed by another after an uttered ‘

’ as they released the mundane attack. A crimson arrow produced from their palm and they were fast to utilize it as ammunition for their bow, drawing and releasing it into another monster approaching. Once the two monsters dropped, Pasha lifted their empty hand to point towards another. [attr="class","patcHAY"]“

[break][break] That was three mushrooms Pasha brought down from where they stood, and while they wanted to take down more, it was beyond their means for the moment. However, they moved to keep close to the group in case the aggressive creatures were smart enough to pick off any stragglers. Plus, Red’s card wall was a good cover in case the monsters suddenly decided to spit acid or something.

It can't be shot off without a bow but can be held and used as an impromptu stabbing/slicing paraphernalia. Creating this magic begins with a pool of blood rising from the palm's skin of the caster's hand, there it grows out it's shaft before shaping it's sharpened head and smooth fletching. Afterwards it solidifies and drops into the hand that cast it, ready to be used to deal Junior Damage. For an additional cost of mana and 10 points in control, the caster can create one additional arrow to be shot or used individually, increasing the chance of hitting the target or hitting an additional target. If Vampiric Magic is activated by the caster, and if the spell connects, it will siphon 5 mana (+5 per target's rank above Junior) from up to a maximum of two hit targets and restore the caster's mana an equal amount.

[attr="class","noahtext"]Noah has watched his whole party very carefully, and they were all rather interesting mages. Seeing as Red was controlling cards, she made a great defense for the group who apparently needed it, while Pasha was striking enemies with their bow as well as a blood magic. They were the first blood mage Noah would see, even though he knew that bodily fluids or tissues magic were often stigmatizes. To his surprise Koji seemed to have something similar, as his spell asserted itself onto Pasha, seemingly buffing them. Noah found Koji extremely adorable and just smiled, when he performed the spell. As everyone went to hide behind the wall of card that Red put up, Noah would decide that it is time to take action. He quickly clapped his hands, as the mushrooms were making their way towards party and said the name of the spell. “Gravity Magic: Engulfing Thrust.” With this, an invisible circle would form in front of Noah and start emitting strong forces towards the mushrooms, knocking them back and rendering them dead. Noah didn’t have to say the name of his spell, but felt like it would be appropriate as he already got an idea of other people magical abilities. [break] FLOOR 2 ROOM 2[break] With all the mushroom being pretty dead now, Noah just turned around back to his teammates and spoke cheerfully. “Great job everyone! These monsters were kind of weak and in dungeons, the beasts we find only tend to get stronger the more you advance. Therefore, if you felt like you were overpowered by any of them, don’t be ashamed to admit it, that way we can work through them together without harming anyone of us.” With this, the room was cleared now and they finally could get a feel off it, or at least look for passage to get further. That didn’t last long, as there was a terrible smell coming out from a really huge hole. Noah, self-appointed leader of this party just gestured with his hand that the group of mages would follow him as he decided to approach it and enter the next room. [break] As they would enter another room, the sky was once again visible, thanks to the destructed walls of the tower. Noah liked the fact that he could see the sky, as it was something he could really use back when he was in Cursed Forest, some reminder that this was all just a training, and that there is indeed real world outside. With the pace of changes, this tower really had some weird mechanisms. The room was steaming hot, as there was a lake, bubbling as if there was a fire underneath and the lake was just an oversized brew. Without being able to pay a close attention to details, the group would get surrounded by another kind of mana beasts, this time much more dangerous, at least in terms of visual feeling.[break] Noah couldn’t really understand whether it was a reptile or a mammal, or even something in between, however it wouldn’t last long and the group of Falkhasaurs would attempt to attack the group, however as Noah was first in their line of attack, and he had his spell from previous room still active, it would just knock them all back, ultimately making them hit walls and dropping dead on the floor. Noah would quickly make sure to comment it for the whole group. “So I am currently using a spell I activated in the last room, it is an invisible force that deals an okay chunk of damage towards anyone that is in front of me. I can make two of you immune towards it, so that you ultimately wouldn’t get affected. Anyway these monsters are a bit stronger than the last room, I would take care of most of them and you can try to kill the rest.” As he said that, he would lift up his arms, and the remaining beasts would soon get trapped in an restraining spell. “Gravity Magic: Pressure Chamber.“ The group couldn’t really see anything, only Noah and the beasts, that four orbs of his gravity magic formed and each of them went to different corner of the room, each of them releasing a huge pressure, making the beasts weep from the pain, before they would all fall down dead. Noah then started walking forward, however noticed that he missed two of them, who managed to hide before his spell. “Oh, can you get rid of these?” He would ask the group, before advancing further.[break] FLOOR 2 ROOM 3 - Small Narrow Path[break] After the group would get rid of the last two beasts, the Tower has trembled more, as if it knew that there was something going on. Obviously, this trip through very different environments was very odd, mostly because Noah had no idea what would come next, and with the changing temperature, weather and surroundings there was anything on the table really. Seeing a river, Noah wasn’t the biggest fan, and therefore when there was an option to go for the way that was probably more uncomfortable, but at least on a solid ground, he wouldn’t question his decision. “Let´s go this way.” He quickly entered the mass of various plants, overgrown lianas, using his magic to clear out a way and make it a little bearable for everyone. “Sorry, maybe this wasn’t the best choice I just don’t fancy water very much. Anyway, how did you all get here? I myself am becoming a Magic Knight, and found that doing dungeons is really beneficial for my training.” He would try to pass the moment of crawling through very narrow space with some discussion, as he was genuinely interested what the gang was up to. [break] “I can see you are from Black Bulls, may I assume you know Griswold Cromwell?” Noah asked, directed towards Red, as her mantle was visible and she was the only actual Magic Knight in the dungeon. He would then attempt to ask the other two something too, but something has stopped him. “Ouch.” He said, as his hand got stabbed from some torn on the flowers around him. Trying to ignore the blood, he would just speed up to get through this purgatory. Finally, there was an exit, or just a light that suggested the next room. Thankfully they made it through the narrow path, and once they got out Noah would just turn around. “Any chance we have some medic here?” As his hand was still bleeding, it would come in really handy to get rid of this. Besides, the party was so diverse he was sure that at least one of them had some medical abilities. [break] FLOOR 2 BOSS ROOM[break] It didn’t take long before another room has manifested itself, covering the whole sight in with dust, making it impossible to see anything. Noah would just shout, putting his hand in front of his eyes to not get any dust into them. “Uh, stay back.” There were some terrible roars happening, and they were very close right now. With the dungeon shaking like it was under an earthquake, this scene was really concerning, but only until the view has once again cleared up and there it was – two beasts fighting each other, minding their own business as if four mages just didn’t enter their territory. It seemed to be a ruthless battle and Noah was quite unsure what to do. Thankfully, the dinosaurs really minded their own business, being completely caught up in their fight that it gave Noah time to think, or rather let someone else do a decision for him. “So, should we help one of them?” He asked, hoping that one of them would just go and attack one target, as it seemed that one of the monsters was supposed to stay alive.

After that, Noah creates four small balls (large 5 centimeters in diameter) that spread out in area as large as 20 meters. Everything within this area will become locked in the spell. And the points start applying heavy force into anything that is trapped inside (each in different direction), dealing intermediate rank damage in the form of minor bones break and moderate cracks per every post the target is trapped in there, as well as reducing the movement speed and lowering their control. This spell is invisible, as long as the enemy doesn’t have 30 sensory. This spell can be broken via the according Restraining rules, and has naturally decreased durability by ten points due to it being an AoE. Upon taking a hit, the target gets also knocked back 4 meters within the spell and additional 5 meters for every 10 power Noah has.

After the mushrooms were slain Red deactivated her spells; the card disappearing in a snap of her fingers, the intrinsic lines on her arms that were there moments ago were gone a few seconds later. For the most part the combat was being handled by Noah, the self proclaimed leader of the endeavour. Not that Red was complaining, he was competent and more or less polite, a little showy but the only thing that Red could really fault him on was his lack of theatrics. The tower shook with what she could only ascribe to be the eventual collapse of the tower, it had been ancient in times well before they had arrived, it was only a matter of time before it would crumble. This was probably the only time Red would ever see this actually see this dungeon, knowing full well that it would be chronicled and outdated in times immemorial. Scribes would probably require the party’s assessment to get a good idea of what the tower looked like, it’s vast insides a considerable accomplishment to chronicle for any one person. Being that she was a magic knight, it may net her some gold stars; if they wizard king was feeling generous, a considerable quantity of Yul if he wasn’t. Either way Red felt like this was a fundamental growth experience and was enjoying her time despite adversity, so far. Upon continuing at the pace they were going after dispatching the mycelium beasts, they entered a grand sized room that had light from outside pouring in. A few wisps of sand refracted the light and gave a golden hue to some parts of the floor, Red avoided these as she did not want to encounter quicksand again. Although she was distracted by the large pool of water which gave a certain measure of heat, her attention was swiftly reoriented to the next calamity that would be no real repose. Getting a steady bearing for her ground she twisted on her heel as one of the creatures approached, swinging her Grimoire to the side as she grabbed it by the throat and slammed it into the ground at her feet. ”Creation’s hand guide me!” she roared as it petulantly writhed in her grasp, her hold on it not abating as she swung it to the side and continued to follow after Noah, who was getting ahead of even himself. Leaving one monster behind for the others to deal with, she dusted her hands and cancelled her spell; C1, once more. Aware of her mana supply and its inhumane inability to dwindle, at least at this rate it wasn’t overall a difficult adventure. Red focused on the path ahead which was narrow, her lithe frame making it easy to traverse. The plants stuck in her hair and aside from it catching here and there, she was more or less fine after reaching Noah. Noah enquired of Griswold, He and Red hadn’t been acquainted but she knew of his existence. Cautiously she ventured a query herself rather than outright answering him, “I’ have only just joined the Black Bull’s myself, I’ve yet to meet any one of them except the captain.” Red noticed the leader of their party accidentally injure himself on a thorn, while inwardly she expressed the desire to help, Red was unable to perform healing magic to any degree, and so she tried to look as concerned as possible without expressing the vocal insinuation she was actually of any service regarding the wound.
Upon entering the final room, Red noticed a brute wyvern; roughly a silver crown in size, a Juvasaur. Some times she spent days in the museums of the kingdom, this particular creature was one she was familiar with. She put her hand to her mouth to cover her surprised expression, “Oh my…” Red trailed off on the sentiment regarding the two primordial predators squaring off in a territorial conflict, slightly out of sheer awe and mostly out of wonder. Not only had she always wanted to see one of these creatures in person; living and breathing, when she was a younger girl, but the inclusion of a turf war… if only she had roasted corn kernels. She pointed a finger at the other dinosaur, it seemed unfamiliar or rather she just wasn’t as much of an ancient history nerd as she thought she might have been. “We should probably take out the flying one, if it escaped the tower or bred more of them; it would be more difficult to protect the citizens of Clover.” She pointed this out taciturnly before offering her opinion to Noah, in spite of having been led this far she offered a meagre portion of her own assertiveness to round out the nature of having to wait and listen for the others’ opinions on the matter.

A disgusting goop from the mushroom he had attacked soaked into his jacket, leaving a very uncomfortable slime on his elbow. He tried to shake it off to no avail, eventually resigning himself to the filth. A small price to pay to make sure someone didn’t get hurt, well something got hurt in exchange, but the one he cared about was walking away from this. Sometimes these things demanded sacrifice. While he was thinking about this to himself, the remaining monsters in the room were swept up by Noah’s spell and brought down in an instant. He meekly followed everyone out of the room, checking behind them as they walked.

Walking further into the “dungeon” Noah continued to refer to it as he gave them a detailed rundown of what to expect moving forward and Koji couldn’t help but allow his mind to wander as he spoke. Was this guy a teacher? It was certainly possible, although Noah couldn't’ be much older than him, he assumed, it was a relatively hard comparison for people to make in reverse given his natural height. He was distracted from most of the information by the smell coming from ahead of them. He didn’t say anything about it as he tried to discern what it was, but there were simply things here he couldn’t identify. The open sky bleeding in through the crumbling walls was a very welcome addition, made him feel a little less cramped in here despite the wide spaces.
A group of reptilian things emerged and surged forward looking eager to take them on, that was until Noah made short work of them with his strangely invisible magic. With strangled howls of pain, they were pinned against the walls around the mages and crushed to death, leaving an unsettling feeling in his gut. He had to take a moment to himself to rationalize that they went on the offensive first, and this was an act of defense. Luckily, he had maintained his focus on the bracelet he gave to Pasha earlier and wouldn’t have to expend extra energy to keep them empowered in what little way he could.
Being adrift in his mind, however, left him wide open to an attack, or so he anticipated. One of these creatures rushed him and he assumed it wanted him, but instead, it leapt over him aiming for Pasha. With a deft flick of his wrist, he summoned a wall of sharpened fangs that blocked it from reaching her. “You’re making this very difficult for me…” he complained, looking defeated in knowing now that any interactions he had with wildlife here would be confrontational. Now interrupted, it turned its attention to him, pouncing with claws and fangs of its own. Koji naturally responded already on the defensive, by quickly putting a high knee into its underside while it was airborne. It was far from defeated, but it had been occupied and now sent reeling from the sudden counter. “Pasha, please!” he called out, hoping that their aid would be enough to put it out of its misery.

2 - 3 Small Narrow Path
Koji took a deep breath, trying to think of something other than the carnage and havoc they’d wreaked upon this place. No matter how many times she told himself that this was something they had to do to defend himself, he couldn’t help but feel like there could’ve been a way to avoid this bloodshed, especially after witnessing the font of power that was Noah. This strange invisible force that he commands was quite frankly the reason they were able to proceed forward with such little caution, and on the other side of the coin, the very same force that would physically wring the life out of creatures here. Following that line of logic, he felt sort of guilty for happening upon this place. There was no real reason to blame himself, he had no idea where he was or why he ended up here, yet he couldn’t shake himself from that.
As they came upon the fork in the path ahead of them, Koji for a moment truthfully considered taking the chance at climbing through the trees to get away from the others and to get away from this dreadful notion that he was to blame for their suffering. His hands were certainly not clean by any means, especially not his slime-covered elbow, but grappling with the responsibility left him feeling uncertain. Yet… he felt at risk when the others proceeded in the other direction as he stood there at odds with himself. He had the choice of being safe or being a burden, and growing up in the Forsaken region with no one but his brothers to look after him he already knew the pit in his stomach that swell from willfully being a burden. Hard-hearted, he took a deep breath and followed.
The lianas curled out of the way as Noah forged a path for them through this narrow crevice in the foliage. He allowed his head to hang low to not show just how dejected he was. Koji remained mostly silent even as he started to fill the air, unwilling to respond immediately. Eventually, though his thoughts came bubbling to the surface and he just had to let go or he might explode. “I was just… curious about the animals out here…” it may have been hard for the others to understand, but he held back tears as he spoke. He wiped his face preemptively, but wouldn’t acknowledge that he was hiding from himself right now.

2 - Boss
Koji had no choice but to cover his eyes this time around as the dust in the air was backed by an unrelenting buffeting wind, or so he thought before the curtains fell away to reveal the dire conflict that these two massive monsters were embroiled in. As he looked upon this struggle unfolding in front of him and hearing the roars of anger and desperation, a sudden bittersweet epiphany was made in the boy’s mind. Red called out that they should focus their efforts on the one that was flying, and Koji watched it intently. He already knew his power was dwindling, but he could still do something couldn’t he? The flying monster went to tail swipe at its ground-based opponent and swung wide, Koji was already running to intercept. He could tell that his grimoire wouldn’t be fast enough here, so he used the only thing he had left. He ran directly in front of the others, digging his feet into the ground and leaning in with every bit of strength he had as the attack nearly impacted one of the others. It wasn’t enough to stop the blow, but he did take away its momentum and save the others after being launched into a wall behind them, open wounds seeping with an ichorous purple fluid. He was beginning to understand now, that some things can’t be reasoned with.

Noah finished off the remaining mushroom monsters. The blonde mage had clearly observed the rest of the dungeon goers as Pasha had before and removed the remaining threats so they could move on. Perhaps it was a test to see if they all were up to snuff for this dungeon? He seems familiar with the workings of places like these, something they appreciate and hope the rest of the group appreciates as well. Yet, the room is cleared and forward they must go. The taller blonde leading the way after a quick praise of everyone’s work and an encouraging ‘work together, team!’ before moving on. [break][break] Every room in this place seemed to change in drastic ways, not that Pasha cared to know why. But it was fascinating nonetheless; Entering the next space, the group was welcomed with a view of the open skies from a destroyed wall. A nice change of environment, were it not for the broiling heat. [break][break] They quickly wiped at their forehead, wanting to be out of the heat, when suddenly the dungeoneers were surrounded by mana beasts. They looked… more capable of dealing significant damage than the mushrooms, and quickly proved that assumption correct. Only, as soon as the beasts moved to attack they were felled quickly by one of Noah’s spells - the mage apparently sustaining this particular spell from their previous encounter with foes, a fact that made Pasha raise a brow upon learning. [attr="class","patCHK"]What a show off… but I guess it’s less work for us-. [break][break] Two of the mana beasts had managed to avoid Noah’s wrath, who then left the stragglers to be dealt with by the rest of the group. One straggler was dealt with quickly by Red who then followed the more reliable mage towards their likely path forward. The other straggler, however, had snuck up on Pasha - who was shielded by a wall of fangs thanks to Koji. But as the monster turned its attention towards the small mage, it was clear that he hadn’t expected to have to fight back. So, when Koji called out to the Pasha to finish off the creature, the blood mage couldn’t help but oblige. [attr="class","patcHAY"]“
[attr=class,clotNYAme]Piercing Blood Clot
[attr="class","patcHAY"],” they casted, an orb of blood forming on their finger tip before shooting off into the stunned monster with a point of their finger. It stilled thereafter; The dungeon tremored in response. [break][break] [attr="class","patcHAY"]“Hm, thanks for the cover,” Pasha said with a kind smile, before shifting to a more thoughtful expression. [attr="class","patcHAY"]“Although it is rather counterintuitive to draw the attention of a killer monster without being prepared to kill it yourself. Thank you either way.” [break][break] They gave a shrug and moved on. [break][break] Following Red and Noah, Pasha arrived to see Red slip into a tight passage and groaned. [attr="class","patcHAY"]“My hair can only get so tangled,” they whined as they entered the space. Their hair, inspired by deja vu, got caught with every movement. So their trip through the narrow path was rather slow as they had to stop to detangle themself each time their hair got caught. It was a welcome relief when they exited the other side. [break][break] Brushing off their clothes and shaking out their hair, Pasha recouped their appearance and went to find Noah and Red making small talk ahead with aught amiss. Only, Noah had somehow managed to suffer an injury on his passage through the path. [attr="class","patcHAY"]“Hmph,” the blood mage huffed - oblivious to Koji’s distress - and stomped over to the injured mage. [attr="class","patcHAY"]“Honestly, of all the- How did you manage to hurt yourself in the least dangerous encounter we’ve so far faced in this dungeon? Don’t answer that; Give me your hand.” Pasha would snatch up Noah’s wrist and twist it so his palm would face up so that they could see it. [attr="class","patcHAY"]“
[attr=class,scabNYAme]Scab
[attr="class","patcHAY"],” they casted, holding their hand above Noah’s as their blood magic swirled towards the cut on his palm and scabbed it over. [attr="class","patcHAY"]“That’s the best I can do. Next time just lick it,” they teased, releasing the other’s wrist with a cheeky smirk. [break][break] The rag-tag group of mages were soon deliberating what to do with the two new and significantly larger monsters that fought each other before them. Their rumbling roars and violent actions shook the dungeon and kicked up clouds of dust - honestly, with this fight going on, Pasha had half a mind to sit and watch the giants duke it out - but their wonderful leader asked the group what they should do. Red was smart to suggest attacking the flying one first, considering the consequences; But Pasha figured it would be smart to just wait for one to beat the other and then target the victor after it exhausted itself from defeating the other, only they never got the opportunity to speak. [break][break] Koji launched himself towards the dueling beasts and Pasha couldn’t react fast enough to stop him. [attr="class","patcHAY"]“Wait-!” They called, reaching out to the small mage when the fool ran away from the group. All they could do was watch, not willing to risk themself yet, as the boy made contact with the tail of the flying monster as it swooped at the group. The force of the impact made the blood mage fall backwards onto the ground, narrowly missing a direct hit thanks to Koji. [attr="class","patCHK"]Right, Koji. Forcing themself from their winded state, Pasha looked for the small blonde mage and only found him after looking behind the group where he was crumpled on the ground - covered in a purple, viscous fluid that made seeing if there were any significant injuries impossible to the dark haired mage. [break][break] [attr="class","pgutHK"]You’re still in danger. [break][break] Pasha’s head snapped back to face the flying beast as it circled around in the air to make another attempt at the group. The blood mage didn’t have any high impact spells and was starting to hit their limit, so all they could do was watch the monster closely and hope they could dodge out of the way before it attacks once more. Hopefully Noah had a solution to this airborne problem, such as pinning it down with his magic, but for now survivability is the priority.

For an additional cost of mana and 10 points in control, the caster can create one additional orb to be shot individually, increasing the chance of hitting the target or hitting an additional target. If Vampiric Magic is activated by the caster, and if the spell connects, it will siphon 5 mana (+5 per target's rank above Junior) from up to a maximum of two hit targets and restore the caster's mana an equal amount.

The caster must aim this spell at a targeted wound to create a scab with a swirl of mana over a bleeding injury, generally mimicking the shape of the wound, to close it and then slowly recover the damage over a period of time while actively attempting to cleanse any curse, hex, or debuff. Additionally, it can't heal any internal ruptures, bones, or bruising - it is mostly used to heal Junior Damage cuts and punctures. Multiple people may be targeted, but it will heal at a reduced amount by one rank lower. Should Selfless Bestowal be activated, at the caster's choosing, this spell will heal damage half a rank higher than itself at the cost of the caster taking half a rank of damage. The spell will cease once the targeted wound is healed or the caster chooses to end it, or they have run out of mana.
[attr="class","patchASTITLE"] Everything in this pain is my own
[attr="class","noahtext"]This group was so diverse it made Noah chuckle a little bit, as they arrived to the final room. Once Pasha healed his small wound, the gravity mage would just scratch his head and smile. “Yeah, I am not a fan of seeing my own blood, but yours spell are great, thank you for healing that.” He would then see what their spell did with the small cuts, and Noah was fairly impressed. Not knowing any other healers, it didn’t take much for Noah to be impressed. The whole time, he had trouble keeping his eyes on Koji, as he was the first in line, but when he saw the little mage hardly holding his tears, he felt a little guilty. It reminded him of his own starts, as Noah was dealing with exactly the same dilemmas, but it seemed that with greater power came a sort of understanding. [break] As Noah wanted to speak to the little dwarf about it, Red quickly took lead and decided, and she seemed to know way more about these monsters than Noah himself knew and therefore he just silently nodded, with a brief smile. Noah was ready to attack the flying Joatl, but adorable teeth mage would make his way over to the monster in order to protect the group, Noah was very confused by the situation, fast thinking usually wasn’t an issue, but when he saw Koji getting slammed across the room, it seemed like he suffered quite a big damage. Noah would remain silent for the whole time, only with concerned expression, but Pasha went out to check on him. “Yeah, let´s not do that.” He would just say ironically, however he was angry, not at Koji or the beast, but just the whole situation. Noah understood what Koji was going through, or at least he thought so, but last thing he wanted to deal with was a dead mage, mainly when the dwarf seemed so pure and innocent. [break] “Okay, time to end this.” He would then say, and come closer towards the two beasts fighting each other. Since Red said so, he would let his Engulfing Thrust avoid the dinosaur-like creature, only focusing on the flying beast that just slammed his teammate. The beast would then instantly get hit by the spell, as it reached its range when Noah walked towards it. That seemed to deal quite a bit damage, as the beast was knocked back by the pure pressure, but it still wasn’t enough. Quickly checking up on Koji and Pasha, he would the point on the rock that was lying near by them, probably fallen from the wall that Koji just hit. “Kinetic Link.” With this, the rock sprung towards the beast, and with moderate speed, it hit the flying beast right onto the chest. Thankfully, aiming wasn’t an issue right now, as the beast was still affected by the other spell. With its last roar, the Joatl has fallen on the ground, dead. Looking at the other monster that was left, Noah wasn’t sure what to do now, but it was quickly answered as the beast just decided to … ignore them? Well they did defeat its opponent so it made sense up to a certain degree. [break] The huge dino left the room, god knows where, apparently unconcerned with the fact that there is still a group of four mages, but since Noah wanted to check on Koji, he wouldn’t care about that anymore. Deactivating his spell, he now approached Pasha and Koji, looking a little scared as he still wasn’t sure how much damage has been done. Looking at Pasha, as if Noah expected them to do something about this, he would then sit down on a ground next to Koji. “Wise mage once told me that to protect the ones you love you must be willing to make sacrifices…” He would then quickly stop, to think about what to say next. “I don’t think that’s entirely true, but to comfort you a little, dungeon is a rather specific place, the fact that we killed all of those monsters doesn’t mean they are really dead. They live in their own ecosystem where life and death are very relevant terms.” Smiling, and ruffling teeth´s mage hair, he stood up and continued. The monster that just vanished had left them a treasure, and Noah approached it. [break] “Well, I think this is the end of the dungeon, we completed it.” He wasn’t sure what to say next, as this was the weird goodbye part, but it felt like there were still a lot of things left unsaid. “Will you be okay?” He asked, directed towards Koji, wondering if they all should take him somewhere with a proper medic, and then turning towards Red. “Thank you for your defensive abilities, they helped a lot and made the whole experience much less messy.” Noah wasn’t sure where to head on next, he wasn’t familiar with Fringe, however he still needed to go to the Royal Capital in order to sort out things with the Golden Dawn headquarters. “Until we meet next time.” Smiling, he winked at Pasha and took off on his broom, flying towards the sandstorm that once trapped them all here. It was an odd party indeed. [break] Being up in the air now, he had time to finally reflect on the whole experience. Koji just reminded him of his own unwillingness to kill living things, which he seemed to have lost by this time. Noah couldn’t quite understand it, as he still didn’t quite enjoy killing the mana creatures, but with his spells being more developed, it made him feel that the creatures weren’t suffering as much. It was this strange shift in the power dynamics that he didn’t have to be much scared about dying to smaller enemies, because he had means to defend himself. His previous experiences had fairly shaped him in this manner, both knowing that things in dungeon simply just don’t die, as well as remembering the polemics he had with Griswold during the times they were clearing Hapshass of the serpent slavers. This was very different, as creatures in the dungeon didn’t really want to fight, they were just defending their homes from intruders. He couldn’t see it this way before in the Cursed Forest, as he was still overwhelmed by pretty much everything. Planning things ahead, it felt like his own morals and ethics need some more elaboration, as he now found himself in a very confused state of mind, where he couldn’t even be fully happy about completing the dungeon, as Koji unknowingly made him question things he thought he was certain at. Red was mute witness to the many events that unfolded after her having made a decision, Koji was seriously injured and Noah performed yet another feat of overwhelming power. Wandering over to Koji with the dexterity she would require, her voice fraught with concern, “Koji… we need to get you to a medic. Uncertain whether she should move him, her emotions stirred profusely and she became overwhelmed, a stray tears welling up in her eyes. She comforted him and watched Noah leave, slightly indignant with his response Red attempted to wipe the purple liquid off of Koji. The viscous material resembled syrup and only after a precarious thought she had the notion to remove her gloves. Opting to surrender to her maternal instincts, Red attempted to lift him to his feet. Trying to figure out how to commend him onto the services of another, more qualified person for healing, she opted to call for Pasha to assist. “We have to get him to a hospice.” The way out was clear and although there were treasures and artefacts unique to this locale, Koji’s well-being came first. As much as Red wanted to delve into the area, the more pressing concern took precedence, she would have to catalogue the topography another time.
