The day was like any other day, extraordinary in no real way, at least it was sunny thought Red as she donned her make-up and clothing. Her Black mantle shielding her delicate skin from the sun’s harmful rays, absorbing enough of the warmth of the day to keep her relatively warm. Winding through the forsaken region was a chore, civilians asking her the most mundane of questions, ranging from how her day was progressing to conversational types enquiring as to what she was doing. Being a magic knight was like being a celebrity in most cases, Red only pandered to a few of them and responded with the usual, “I am in town for work.” So far the forsaken region was quaint in all regards, peaceful as it were despite the unfolding events of the daemons plaguing various other locations of the kingdom. Being that she was elven a few civilians were prone to asking her about her delicate features, which she regarded with varying levels of attrition. Contrite and quietly she would allay their concerns; she was merely a very beautiful young woman, in town to deliver a sword or something. Before leaving she picked up a bite to eat, a sandwich and some kind of incredibly spicy curry that was chilled when served, both were delicious. Happily voyaging she regretted not sojourning longer, although her stay was brief she enjoyed it immensely. Her monotony was brief and the walk was far longer than she had anticipated. The road leading to the mountains was lush with greenery and the windswept plain was about as scenic as any gallery in the noble region. A few stray clouds buffeted by the wind were all that she really had her thoughts on how ever. There were a few mentions that she would be accompanied by a fellow magic knight for this job, it wasn’t anything fancy, just a delivery from point A to point B. Retrospectively Red identified the sword to be of no real interest to her, her primary concern was getting the tarnished rust on her gloves or clothing. Giving no real credence to the researchers claims it was the sword of some forgotten king she idly thought about the prospect of toting it around and wondered what people would think of her while she carried it. Laughing internally at the prospect of being fully equipped; armour and weaponry, she noticed that her attire wasn’t strictly fit for open warfare’s scathing heat. But then again, wearing a full suit of armour seemed like an overwhelming task as she was lithe and more inclined towards clothing that was aesthetically pleasing Upon arriving at the dig site the sword was found, she marvelled at the sword that was firmly planted in a stone, before her royal instincts kicked in to brandish it and proclaim she would be the next wizard queen, her sensible nature garnered a more mature way of dealing with the situation. Introspectively she inspected the sword’s hilt and handle, both were worn and tarnished over time. What little royalty it may have once held was surrendered to the ages, perhaps; once, it had been bejewelled and resplendent. Now it was only rusting and precariously left here by the warrior or champion that had once carried it, making a statement just by being as it were. Red looked around, trying to notice anyone that may see her as she approached the ancient discarded tool of war. Satisfied that she was alone, Red gripped the handle of the sword before easing it out of its hiding place. It was light and otherwise unsuitable for combat, she gave it a few practise swings before resigning to leaving it where it was. She grimaced as she noticed the flakes of rust on her gloves, silently thankful she had worn them.

This very day would start off bland to say the least. Nothing out of the ordinary for the young Gisela. She would be waken up by the family servant around six in the morning just after sunrise. It never seemed like enough rest for someone with the beauty of the lady. Why why why every morning? She would complain to herself within her own mind. As much as she wanted a change she knew their wouldn't much of a difference unless she could somehow find a way to leave the family mansion. Madam Blueman your breakfast is served and waiting your arrival in the diner. The words of her family servant. The young lady could hardly stand the taste of the family chefs cooking. Their food would always be under seasoned and often overcooked. Thanks for the offer but this time I'll have to respectfully decline.
With that Gisela had to quickly find herself something to do before any other inconveniences come her way. You know what Gerald? That was the name of the house servant. Could you run along and fine me a swell mission that I can take on today. I really feel like getting out but I have not any idea of what to do. Without showing it Gerald was a bit agitated with Gisela's antics. Instead, the man would just slowly reach into one of his pockets in his jacket and pull out a piece of paper. Gerald was used to Gisela trying to ditch the family events, so he had come prepared. Madam please excuse me if I am wrong but have you forgotten of your task for the day? Gisela was a bit dumbfound and knew not what to say. Just a few days ago you had made the decision to take on a mission within the Forsaken Region. The lady was still in a state on confusion. The one was the sword. Their was a slight pause. Oh yeah! That one. Realistically she still had no clue. How about you brush me up on the details? In utter disgust Gerald would clear his throat and begin.
It was just three days ago there had been an ancient artifact found within a ruin in the Forsaken Region. A mal group of scientists discovered this item and has doing minor studies but so far nothing has come of it. For this reason, that very group sent out a letting to the kingdom's Royal Capital. With a bit of help and permission from the higher ups, these scientists could be on the brink of strengthening the nation as a whole. The idea must have been an intriguing one due to the fact that the Wizard King agree to send a few fellow magic knights to help escort the item back to the Royal Capital. Gisela would then interrupt. Oh really, you don't say. Honestly this feels like it's going to be a drag. Gerald would reply. That tends to happen when you're willing to do anything just to dessert your family. He'd follow by clearing his throat. Any who this is where you come in. When the word come about the kingdom were looking for a few fine knights to partake in this escorting mission, you were one of the first to just on the case. Seriously, why can't I remember that? Gerald had just about enough of this situation. Yes!....Seriously. Perhaps it was all the senseless drinking. He'd mumble under his breath. Now bets time you get moving along shan't we?
Gisela did realize that she had felt as if she was a bit hungover. Her body felt heavy and tied while her head was still spinning from the night before. From her breath there was a stench of leftover alcohol that was hard to go unnoticed. Her clothing just so happens to be the same outfit that she had worn the day previously which was oddly unusual for the like of herself. It was then when Gisela had realized that the life, she was living was currently on a crashing course to rock bottom. Something had to be done before it was too late there would be no turning back. You know Gerald. She stated. You just may be right this time around. Let me get myself together and I'll surely be on my way. Gerald was surprised that the young lady acknowledged that he was correct in the situation. For the first time in quite the while the house servant didn't know what to say. Sh, sh, sh, sure thing madam. Just don't be late.
The young lady would then swiftly try and tidy herself up for the occasion. The first thing she would do was take a quick shower followed up by brushing her teeth. The combination of the two would easily kill the hangover she was having while also eliminating the foul oder coming from her mouth. She would then put on a change of clothes that were like the ones she was wearing previously. For the bottom she wore a white cotton shirt that she had made herself; so short that it could hardly be considered clothing. Her top was also made by her hand, and it was a white cotton button-up piece that hardly covered her secret parts. Her hair was a mess, so she'd dawn a white cap covering it from going all out wild. Her shoes were boots that raise so high that they were two inches above her kneecaps. Finally, to top things off Gisela was grab the thing that was most precious of all. It was a beautiful blue stone made of never melting ice craved into a necklace. Samui is what she called it and to her this stone meant more than her own life. Alright that looks like just about everything. Without saying her goodbyes Gisela would escape the family mansion and be gone on her way to complete her mission. She could only hope that things weren't too late.
Red brushed her hands of the rust flippantly, opting to instead seek instead an alternative means of transportation. Rather than use her hands, she opted to unpack a rather long and tenuous cloth that she had meant to use as a scarf, should the day have gotten colder Red may have but after storing the sword she had other thoughts. At least the job’s payment would cover the cost of her ruined scarf, Red mentally ascribed to give the historians a talking to. Pantomiming both relief and frustration was an opportunity too good to miss as she mimed exhaustion sarcastically, for no one’s real benefit or entertainment other than to amuse herself. “Sure is hard work carrying this rusted toothpick all by myself.” Mused Red to the general population; that albeit being scarce, she was sure there was at least some omniscient mage somewhere laughing or at least regarding her with contrition. Opting to do the lifting and the ferrying, she started to return homeward to deliver the sword. The historians were paying good money for the menial task, and although Red may have had better things to do, it turned out that she didn’t, at least for today. On the way she ran into a regal woman with blue hair, walking singularly in the same direction that Red had just come from. This aroused Red’s suspicions as there was little thoroughfares and this made her opt to venture a general query unto the woman. Who seemed to be a noble or a knight, the regalia and posture gave away much of what Red presumed. “It’s a little far for a lady to walk by herself, are you alright?” Red spoke with the gentle reassurance that she meant no harm with a hint of mere curiosity, not overall really prepared for an answer, Red diligently waited while carrying the bundled up sword. Her monochromatic attire a sombre contrast to the brightly dressed woman’s outward appearance, nonchalance painted over Red’s face as she contritely appeared at the very least interested, and slightly concerned.

Gisela had made her way gracefully escaping her castle home. As a young lady she felt that she did not need the blessing of her family to make her own decisions. Her feelings were that the only way to do things and gain respect from others was to do it on your own. Besides, her parents had wanted her to take over as the family’s heir, but that path was not within her desires. Instead, she chose to be a magic knight of the kingdom to prove that not only men are capable of being strong nor considered heroic. This belief was not her stance solely on women but also for the citizen of the lower class. Only the strong and capable could be Wizard King, or in her case Wizard Queen. Even if no one else believed it, Gisela believed in herself that one day she would be taking on the position.
The young lady had begun to make her way through town when she notice that it was particularly hot out. Sheesh, If only I had known of this weather beforehand. For her the heat was something she had not been used to traveling in by foot. Her parent would always cater to her needs even though Gisela couldn't stomach the fact that everyone would do so. I wonder if anyone else has gotten to the sword before me. Being late was becoming a bit of concern for the young lady. Just as she had those thoughts a voice of another young lady could be heard from the near distance. Sure is hard work carrying this rusted toothpick all by myself.
Interesting. Gisela thought to herself. She had a gut feeling this voice was the person that she had supposed to meet at the advised designated location. After looking around for the person who spoke the words the blue eyed mage had gazed upon a young lady wielding a rusted blade. Oh no! Please don't let that be who I think it is. Gisela felt bad because at this point she knew it was almost certain that she was late. With that being said the young Blueman still had to figure out a way to lighten up the load. All of those acting classes she had taken when she was younger would have to come into to play. The time was not yet ready. The young Blue Rose had to be one-hundred percent that this girl was carrying the correct blade from the mission. So instead of walking straight up Gisela would ghost her for a while.
She would make sure that she stayed within plain site. Hiding from the young sword wielding girl would have only come off as suspicious. A bit of perspiration would occur as the young lady made her way over toward Gisela. It’s a little far for a lady to walk by herself, are you alright? She would ask. Gisela would keep her cool with a response of her own. Why yes in fact I am. We can walk together if you would like. Nothing like a little company for a journey wouldn't you say? She hoped that would be enough to not let the girls suspicions be amused. For safe keeping Gisela would also offer her a helping hand. So where are you going with that giant sword? That's also nice grimoire you have there as well. She said while gazing her eyes across it. From the looks of it you too are also a magic knight. I just love seeing sting women stand out in front and proving all the doubter wrong. Do you mind if I hold it? I just love observing the many grimoire of the world.
Not overly hesitant as she had her hands full, Red handed her the Grimoire she was holding as it was not something she wanted to get rust on. The book was a sable Grimoire with intrinsic lines across it formulating what looked to be chemical compositions. Her pages a shade of charcoal, Red couldn’t help but notice the interest the young woman had with her book. Red nervously regarded the woman with no real thing to judge her on, she was helpful Red supposed. Introductions were in order and Red extended her free hand, she spoke eloquently, “My name Is Red Fallow, may I ask your name?” Attempting every little bit to be as polite as possible, Red did not know if she was a noble or a commoner and relented to treat her the same way. Rather than idle gossip, she continued walking hoping that the other woman would conversationally invite herself to walk with, The journey would be a long one but the museum director couldn’t be too far, it was after all within walking distance. Red couldn’t fathom how lazy one would need to be to assign such an inane task to the magical knights, but Yul and gold stars were essential and she needed both to afford some lavish gift for herself. Not quite erring on the fact but holding to a meek sense of providence, it was not unbecoming for her to be pensive and silent or Red believed. It was after all a long day and she had few things better to do than deliver the sword and its antiquity to the necessary preservers.

Gisela was delighted by thee young girl handing her grimore over so easily. Especially in a world in which anyone would steal something of such value. She didn't want to break her cover however and received it with grace. Wow would you look at that? Both carbon and card. So you're a multiple element specialist just like me. That's actually pretty rare you know. She would then continue flipping through the pages. I don't know if anyone as every told you but also have some interesting spells here. There are two particularly that catch my eyes the most. Seems like you're well on you way to being as splendid Magic Knight. At least she thought so up until the point she realized the girl was a part of the Black Bulls. That was only a tiny mistake though so Gisela could stomach it and without hesitation she'd ask. Would you like to know my magic types as well?
The young lady who was obviously timid would respond with a simple statement followed by a simple question. My name Is Red Fallow, may I ask your name? Gisela was dumbfounded and could hardly believe she spoke without proper manner. Oh my apologies that was really rude of me. Gisela would then reach out of her free hand for a formal greeting. My name is Gisela Blueman. Funny even our names are similar by taking that of a color. What more could we have in common, please do tell me of yourself. She said with a smile. I just figure since we were both headed in the same direction that I should somehow make myself acquainted. Obviously I got a bit carried away after taking note of your grimoire and our similarities. the statement was followed by a slight giggle. As I was saying earlier, would you like to know of my magic types as well? A slight pause. You know what never mind that, I've taken a liking in you so I'll just demonstrate.
The young Blueman would then unsheathe the the multi-layered from her side and replaced it with her new acquaintances. Well, first and foremost I behold the magic element of ice. It's quite fitting considering I'm from the Blueman family and some people perceive ice to be blue. She'd then lean over toward Red and whisper. I don't really think that bur it sounds good when trying to explain. The young noble lady would then reframe herself. I present to you Exhibit A! Giselsa would then sling her right hand outward and away from the young Black Bull. From that hand at a moderate pace ice would begin to freeze over it and making a rapier for attack. Not bad huh? So tell me, what do you think? She said as she gazed into Red's eyes. Gisela was very proud of her own magic. You don't have to answer yet, allow me to first awe you with Exhibit B. Gisela would then cancel the magic spell releasing the iced blade from it's existence.
Now before I perform Exhibit B I must warn you that this one may take you by surprise. I hope that you're ready for this. She would let the suspension build for a moment before actually performing the spell. Alright here goes nothing. Find The Five Stay Alive. Card Magic: Five of Hearts! The last part was met with excitement. After those very words a card appeared before her with a height around 3 meters high. It was also roughly a meter and a half wide. This was a spell directly from Red's grimoire itself. Now I know if you weren't impressed before you must be impressed by now. This isn't the only spell of your I can copy either. Trust me I've also memorized " Carbon Magic: C1." My second element bestowed upon me is that of imitation. This magic I've yet to meet or see anyone perform outside of myself.
Red’s ears perked up at the insinuative, such an analytically precise assessment of her magical prowess, simply by holding her book? She had never heard of this being done, the ice magic was sufficiently chilling and refreshed her on such a warm day. The second display of magic was her own shield spell, a five of hearts emblazoned the side of the card and everything. It was aesthetically appeasing and the explanation set her nerves at ease. “Imitation… how odd?” Red opened her own Grimoire and studied the pages, casting both Carbon Magic: C1 and Card Magic: Five Of Hearts. The card sprang up at a metre tall and charcoal like lines etched over her arms, bolstering her strength and defence respectively. It wasn’t upsetting but it was surprising, Red ventured a query but fell short and stuttered a little when she spoke, ”Well, we better get this sword to where it needs to be.” Red motioned for her Grimoire and with it returned to her possession she departed, with Gisela and the sword. By the time they had repositioned the sword from its resting place, the researchers were relieved to see that it was more or less in one piece. Shattering the stigma of the Black Bull’s haphazard side, they paid reasonably well and it was nice to have her own Yul to dispose of as she saw fit. Red bid farewell to Gisela, as she left her thoughts strayed on the imitation magic and it gave her a good minute and a half before her thoughts were on other things. “Good bye Lady Blueman, I hope your endeavours are successful, it was nice to meet you.”

It was clear that Gisela must have put on quite the performance. One could tell by the face of the read headed mage that she was thoroughly impressed. So much so the Red herself would perform the very same spells just to make sure that she was seeing things right. At least that's the way Gisela saw it to be. At the same time it would seem the young girl lost interest rather quickly. Well, we better get this sword to where it needs to be.” She said leaving Gisela pretty much speechless.
The two would then leave the location and for the rest of the time they had no words for one another. It wasn't long before the two had made it to the researchers with the sword. The were ecstatic that no harm had been done to the weapon. The mission was complete. Good bye Lady Blueman, I hope your endeavours are successful, it was nice to meet you. Gisela would respond. As do you young lady, as do you. The only downside to Gisela was that her and Red didn't become more acquainted during this journey.

What an... Awkward encounter. From being late to the mission to her circling the drain so to say, I really hope Gisela can curb that alcohol problem of hers. Luckily Red, who didn't seem to know they were on the mission together didn't bother to tattle otherwise Gisela would've gotten nothing but scrutiny instead of Yul. I guess in the end Gisela would've at least got some nifty new spells from Red. I wonder if their paths will cross again? This job is complete. For delivering the blade you both have been awarded | 520 Gold & 3 Stars
130 Gold is given to the Blue Rose Squad and Black Bulls Squad.
