After all, she was family too. Leona took care of getting her all clovertized and adjusted to life as a member of a main noble family. The things they were permitted to do outside of Clover wasn’t always possible or smart in Clover as everyone was watching them all the time. They also had to honor the Vermillion name. Leona felt solely responsible for the girl since her parents refused to return to Clover and that left her in the older girl’s care. If her parents did eventually return, Leona would still feel very much the same about it. She had unofficially adopted the girl as her little sister. When she first interacted with her a year prior the girl was almost as stupid as her brothers were. It was something that most Vermillions had inside. That will to attack without thinking. It was something Leona had to correct before deciding to return home.

Leona was training Iris in fighting opponents who were stronger. Of course, believing in her strength, Iris moved in and attacked but it was easily stopped and countered by Leona. After countering Iris, Leona knocked her down and glanced down at her. “Iris, I hate to say it but you remind me of my little brother in the worst ways. Don’t be an idiot when in battle. Yes you have strong magic potential but that doesn’t mean that you are invisible or that you can immediately take care of all of your enemies. You need to use your head. Attacking head on is The Vermillion Way yes but it isn’t the only way. Sometimes you have to be smart about how you attack. Even if that means that you let your opponent attack first so you could come up with the perfect counter.”

With that said, Iris stood up and brushed herself off, nodding and giving an eager smile. She respected and enjoyed being taught by her older cousin. Leona also enjoyed teaching Iris. She met the girl while journeying across the land outside of Clover and it was good to have someone there with her. She was lonely for a little while but that didn’t change her goal of searching the land and getting stronger. Now that she was stronger and coming across the girl, she took her under her wing and began training her. Iris practically begged her while following her everywhere. Leona started to get used to having her around so much that she stopped just leaving and having Iris follow to inviting her to come along with.

While they were there, Leona decided to buy the younger girl some sweet baked pot potatoes while Taiyo got her popped corn. These were things that were enjoyed in places such as hage and it was rare for nobles to have them. While Leona was watching Iris enjoy the delicacies, Taiyo was giving Lucia his attention. You know, you’re free to go off on your own and do your own activities, right? This made the spatial mage chuckle. “I’m very aware, Taiyo.” He nodded as Cyra took flight so she could see everything. It was at the same time that Iris asked Leona if these places had any games. Leona then looked to Taiyo since she was away for so long she couldn’t give any informed decisions on the event. “I’ll let Taiyo answer that.” Her grin was ever present. Oh, there are games and other activities like Trick-or-Treating which involves practically going to houses and knocking on them. If a treat is given, you’re given candy and then there are tricks which are just that. There is also a Fancy Dress Competition where you compete to see who’s the prettiest and the best dressed. There is pumpkin carving, a zombie hunt, a murder mysery game and a special locked in thing.

“Ooh, how about we go to the Dressing up thing! That sounds fun, don’t you think little Taiyo?” Leona’s grin seemed to grow even wider. I would rather not go through that. Leona’s grin faded as she got closer to him. “Are you trying to say I’m not attractive; not hot enough to win? Are you trying to say I’m not gorgeous?” These questions made Taiyo very uncomfortable. How do you expect me to answer that? Also, we look practically the same so if I were to tell you that you weren’t hot I would be insulting myself. I must also say it’s weird to call my own sister hot or gorgeous. Even if I do find you hot or not, I can’t call you attractive since I’m not attracted to you. You’re my big sister and that would be weird. Leona nodded a bit. “I guess that makes sense. What about Iris then, is she hot to you?” A huge embarrassing blush was on Taiyo’s face. Why was Leona doing this? Surely it was fun for her to make him uncomfortable was this really necessary. Uh… it’s still weird because she is family. I’m not saying that she’s not hot but stop being weird! Family, that was it. What if she asked about someone who wasn’t exactly their family, Lucia. “What about Lucia? Isn’t she attractive? She’s not family and this is a safe space.” That was so wrong of Leona to do. LEONA! His face was extremely red and so was Lucia’s. Fine, yes. Lucia is pretty and attractive. Now let’s drop it and go!

Taiyo stormed off towards the dress up competition. That was going to be first. In the air, Cyra chuckled at the interaction between the siblings. From what Taiyo felt of Leona before her return, Cyra figured that the girl was some sort of powerful tyrant that was instrumental in making him him. She wasn’t exactly wrong. Leona could be a tyrant when she wanted to.
