Finally, after having finished nearly all the events Magnus was at the last and final one, the only thing keeping him going was the spirit of his daughter whispering in his ears along with the wind as he Cloud galloped across the ground to the next and last event of the night. This time it was for trick or treating, though he wasn't one to truly much like candy, he had to admit that this concept of events would be something that his daughter would thoroughly enjoy, although like him she was fond of sweets in the form of pastries as opposed to candy after all candy rotted your teeth if eaten too frequently. Not to mention Magnus wasn't a big fan of it in general, however, he was sure Margaret and some of the others back at the family estate would enjoy a piece of candy or two considering none could truly be found within the estate itself unless one counter the chocolate that was used for baking but that was only to be used for baking or the peppermint which was only to be used for small peppermint candies.

Magnus made his way atop of Cloud to the first house of the bunch, this house was green, only one story like all the others, and was made from basic wood that could be found within the surrounding forest, this house had spider webs littered all over the bushes in its yard, and across the door. A giant fake spider carving of wood could be seen in the yard, though it was painted and the sculpting was a bit shabby it was otherwise an impressive feat and choice for imagination. Magnus hopped down from Cloud's baked wiping his eye and stifling a yawn before walking forward as he walked toward the house, he knocked on the door, cleared his throat, and with a smile bellowed "Trick or Treat" he said with a smile, choosing to take the candy bag in hand given by the awestruck older woman who blushed at the sight of him. He tipped his crown slightly, before musing "Thank you milady" before hopping back onto Cloud's back with a quick movement of his legs and trotting off, as the women yelled out at him "wait come back handsome, I have more candy!!!" The woman yelled as she stared at him from inside the doorway as her night in shining armor disappeared into the night, or rather across the street to the next house. Her husband would soon arrive next to her, asking her what all the commotion was about for her only to simply swat him away as she stared down Magnus galloping through the streets on horseback.

House number 2 wasn't colored the owners had opted to leave the house the plain color of the wood they had gotten, and for Magnus, this was a rather boring sight, he walked up knocked on the door, and bellowed "Trick or Treat", this time a man in his late 30's had opened the door, and upon seeing him took a step back and put up his guard, Magnus raised both hands in defense his palms outward as if to say he didn't want any trouble. The man simply glanced at Magnus up and down before musing out the words "What the hell, you aren't a kid." He looked around searching for a child by Magnus's side only to see a horse which further confused him. "I'm young at heart Magnus," said with an outstretched hand, only to be reluctantly handed a bag. He thanked the man, and with a smile left to the third house down the block.

Coming upon house number 3, this would have to be the house that Magnus thought was his favorite. This house seemed to be littered from head to toe with jack-o-lanterns. Though each one had a different and ornate design, some had flours, others had creatures like bats or cats with little witches' hats, and as he glanced around the house seemed to get darker, and further away. The more Magnus walked the more strange and menacing the house would begin to become, Cloud whinnied as Magnus moved closer, electing to get off his back and take him in hand, the closer they got the more uncovered certain effects became, the Jack-O-Lanterns to seemed to sway back and forth as if they were dancing, a scarecrow in the garden became present within view, tucked behind a large oak tree, the house itself began to resemble a smiling face with a grin, its windows being the eyes and the porch being a mouth almost as if it were living. He could feel mana brush against his skin, but couldn't tell what it was until he got to the porch only to be met by a woman in a black costume, with a cat mask on. "Well, well, well, aren't I in for a treat today." She mused with a Cheshire grin, "you seem rather big for a candy-loving kid." Magnus blushed and scratched the side of his face "Well I'm only doing this for the kids back at my estate you see, I have no inklings toward eating any of the candy myself you see..." He stated with a smile, the woman gave a hearty grin before replying. "How noble of you, well, come closer, I promise I don't bite unless you want me too big man" and like the pull of something enchanting Magnus did what he was told her moved closer. He held out his hand, and a rosy red blush began to overtake his face as the woman costume upon further inspection was much lewder than he had originally anticipated or witnessed, it was only then that he realized that he was most likely under the effect of illusion magic and as he came to the realization it was evident on his face. "Well, aren't you going to say the magic words? It seems you've already figured out half of it anyway. You might as well get the treat." She said slyly the cat-like tail on her costume moving back and forth in a hypnotic trance, although he wasn't sure if this was just an illusion or an actual another type of magic that allowed the tail for the costume to do such a thing. "I-uh... Trick or Treat" the woman handed a bag into his hand gently, taking the time to rub her petite fingers across his large palm, before waving him. "Have a goodnight handsome." She said with a sly grin, and as Magnus turned to leave he realized the walkway that seemed like he had gone down for ages was only a mere couple of feet to the middle of the road.

After such an ordeal he was taken back, and it was on to the next house, he had a schedule to keep after all, and he was almost done, as he arrived at the 4th house, he found the house has painted all black and that a cauldron was set out in front of the house that bellowed smoke, the house smelled of smoke, and sweets and kids could be seen gathered around the cauldron throwing things in it to make the liquid inside burst and pop, Magnus wasn't sure it was safe at first and a look of concern and worry had overtaken his expression. A nearby parent saw this and approached him before the children could see him. "Don't worry we do this every year, the cauldron is harmless and regardless of what they throw in it, it'll do nothing more than bubble and pop and create the occasional small change of color in its smoke. It was nothing special, and most importantly nothing dangerous and as such Magnus stopped putting so much thought into it, he walked up to the door, and placed his hand out once again musing the words "Trick or Treat" only to be treated by a plethora of kids, and for the nearby church they laughed and scurried around wanting to pet Cloud of which Magnus allowed as Cloud had a good temperament and was good with children, although he did make sure to watch out for the children and Cloud alike in case either got too rough. Upon talking with the nun he was told that they were taking donations for the local church and as such, he dug into his coin purse and gave a donation. Only to be given a treat in turn. With his trick or treating almost done and a trial of children following him to the next house over Magnus made his way to the 5th and final house he'd be visiting for the night. This one simply had a candy bowl sitting on the outside of it, and pieces of paper that littered the area, a sign was placed up that said "create till your heart's content" the sight of such bought a glimmer of joy from Magnus's eye, and he pulled out his paintbrushes, before going back to the nun asking to purchase some bowls from her. After all, they would probably be ruined after what he was planning so he figured the least he could do was reimburse them for it.

Once he had gathered enough bowls he used his magical paintbrush set to create paint into each of the bowls of all different colors, after talking to the nun and some of the other houses on the block, he organized enough chaperones to keep the kids in line and going to crazy with their new art supplies, and along with the children for the rest of the night until it got too dark for their parents comfort he would paint away on the many canvases left outdoors of the house with the bowl of candy alongside the children. With a job he felt was well-done, he let Cloud get a bit of rest for an hour before he got on his back and made his way back home. He was tired, exhausted, and completely drained of energy but it was worth it for a fun day at the Spirit Festival. He couldn't wait until the next one.
