As the winter approaches the locals are coming together to gather spare food, clothes, and blankets for the less forturnate of the town. The only issue is that they are requesting people to help with delivering the items to the various citizens around the city.

[attr="class","frankiescroll"] As Frankie arrived in Nairn he was actually looking forward to the job he had to do today. Typically speaking Frankie's interests in missions or jobs was sporadic at best. Unless whatever was involved was directly related to something he was interested in researching or some new mystery he looked forward to unraveling he saw them as more of a burden then something worth doing. Ironic given that he had accumulated a fair share of Gold Stars in a fairly short time. The reality was that the mad mage more often would prefer to remain cooped up in his labs performing all manner of experiments as he sought new horizons of knowledge. However, today was a little different for Franklin as although the mission involved wasn't related to anything he was studying, he did feel it was a worthy cause. If there was one area Frankie did feel some passion towards outside the magical sciences it was improving society. Mostly, Frankie did this through the pursuit of magic, hoping to invent or unlock magical breakthroughs that could uplift the people. Now and again though he opted for more basic approaches to aiding people. Today, Frankie would be doing so by assisting in a charity delivery service that would bring much needed supplies to the less fortunate.
In the perfect world Frankie planned on helping to create there would be no individuals with basic needs not being met. However, until that day came it was good to see people banding together to help others. Frankie was more used to such behavior where he came from in the Forsaken Region, but today he was assisting Nairn in the Common Region with this endeavor. Frankie made his way to a barn not far from the city outskirts where much of the efforts had been coordinated. As he approached he saw a number of citizens moving about, packing all the supplies in various crates that appeared to be earmarked for one family or another. They had created an efficient assembly line of sorts, moving the crates down from one person to the next where at each station they would place into the crate donated blankets, food, or clothes. Once it reached the end of the line they would pile it neatly in a section that had a small sign showing that it was ready to go out for delivery.
Frankie approached a man who appeared to be overseeing the entire operation. "Green Mantis Magic Knight Franklin Stein reporting for duty. I am responding to the request for someone to assist in delivery. Statistically individuals of authority are trusted more so I am providing my title to show that I can be trusted with this simple task." Frankie smiled though it probably was more disconcerting then it was comforting. The man in charge started at Frankie for a moment, clearly not falling within the statistics the mad mage had just quoted or perhaps an outlier more because of the fact that Frankie bothered to tell him the reason for giving his station as a Magic Knight. After a second though he did recover and responded back, "Ummm... Sure I guess. If you are certain you can do this then I'll trust you. It should be simple after all." The man turned and led Frankie to where the boxes had been piled. He pointed to them and then back to the town. "Each crate here has been marked with some charcoal with a family name. In town each family set to receive a crate has nailed a small sign to their door with their family name also written in charcoal. To stop anyone from trying any tricks we've made sure to let the townsfolk know to report if they see any identical names so there shouldn't be anyone trying to take supplies that aren't meant for them. All you have to do is take the box to the house it belongs to, simple!" Frankie nodded his head, easily understanding what was being asked of him. "A very logical and systematic approach to this. I applaud your talent for logistics." Frankie complimented the man, understanding that positive reinforcement would better ensure future similar behavior. "Uh huh...Okay yeah sure I'm going to leave you to it." Was the only response Frankie got back.
Left to his own devices it was up to Frankie to approach the job however he saw fit. It appeared so long as the boxes were delivered to the correct home and in a relatively reasonable timeframe there would be no issues with his work. Now, the mad mage could have delivered all these packages himself. The personable touch would have likely been appreciated. However, that seemed like a lot of work and physical labor was not his forte. Better to leave this to magical muscle! "Mus Musculus Carbo!" Frankie chanted the first spell, Carbon Matter falling to the ground from his grimoire in small piles only to restructure themselves into four small mice. First order of business was to find the most methodical approach to each house. The mice scurried off with the mental command to find and report back each house found with a sign. The smaller Scout models of his golems were perfect for this job given their increased speed and Sensory abilities. As they rushed off into the town Frankie spoke again, "Servants of Creation!" This time instead of the Carbon Matter making rodents they fashioned much larger apes, five to be exact. The apes with their opposable thumbs would be doing the actual lifting and carrying. Even as they formed Frankie was already getting basic information on the relative locations of a number of the houses and with another mental nudge his apes began their delivery service.
Still, things could be going more smoothly and Frankie thought it was time he casted one more spell. "Earthen Raptor!" Rather than the typical four eagles that would form in the past this time only three eagles were created. However, these eagles looked much larger and sturdier then the spell Frankie would cast in the past. It appeared at some point along with his own abilities improving so too had this particular spell. Perhaps it had been done out of an innate desire to see it be ranked up alongside his abilities. Frankie couldn't be certain, but it was a convenient turn of events and one that Frankie would be taking advantage of today. These nine meter behemoths were so large that they could easily fit multiple crates between their claws and with a mental command from Frankie they began to do so. At this point the mice had already completed finding all the houses that were appropriately marked and although the apes were making good enough time there were some houses at almost the opposite end of the city. This is where the eagles would come in. They could fly over the city far faster than the apes could travel on the streets and easily land from just about any position, dropping off a crate and moving on to the next house.
In the end the work had only taken an hour or two and Frankie had used one of his eagles as a mount, always ensuring he was within the needed range to keep control over his golems. He read a book on the duality of Hex and Healing magic as he rode. From time to time one of the citizen volunteers would stare at him, but ultimately no one said anything as they could clearly see the golems were doing the work that was needed. When everything was finished Frankie looked at his hard work, had his mice do one last check to make sure there were no houses that had been missed or incorrectly delivered, and then dismissed all of his golems. The job, appeared to be done! Frankie would approach the same man he had spoken to earlier. Now, instead of suspicion or doubt there was simply a pleased look on the stranger. "Thank you so much for your work! I'll be honest I was skeptical at first, but I had a few runners go out into town while you had your... creations... delivering and it appears everything went fairly smoothly! I'm sure all those people appreciate what you did, since they didn't see you personally deliver we can let them know what you did if you like?" Frankie was pleased that there were no complaints with his work though he shook his head in the negative at the man's offer. "No need, I didn't do the job for any sort of gratification. Besides, letting them know of my assistance when they have no idea who I am is illogical, they would have no frame of reference. I appreciate the sentiment, but if that is all I will be on my way." Frankie nodded his head at the man who stood there a little confused for a moment before ultimately shrugging his shoulders. With the work done and the completion reported there was nothing else keeping Frankie in town. Thankfully, there was still plenty of time left in the day. Perhaps he would go perform some minor experiments nearby? Surely the town had some actual real life mice running around, it would be interesting to see how they would treat his golems! With a skip in his step he left to go explore his studies once more.
